Abstract

Abstract

This research is directed to know, understand and describe the actual situation in the field in detail and actual about the standards and objectives of policy implementation in handling street children in Serang City Banten Province. Therefore, the research method used in this study is qualitative methods. This research shows that every activity carried out by the government has a legal basis for reference in acting. In addition, the existence of a legal basis shows the existence legitimacy of the community to the government to carry out its functions as government administrators. The purpose of a legal basis in government activities is to prevent deviant actions that can harm the community. So the Serang City Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2010 is the basis for the Serang City Government in implementing the handling of street children in Serang City. However, the standards and targets of policy implementation are not yet appropriate because the regulations only regulate children, in general, do not explicitly regulate the handling of street children.

Abstract

Abstract

Katakunci : pangan lokal, promosi, sosial media, UMKM  AbstractLocal food products are part of the nation's heritage which is a witness to the development of community civilization and is firmly bound to the nation's cultural traditions. Therefore, local food needs to be preserved and increased in value. We can utilize social media to promote local food. However, research has shown that local food hashtags are not used optimally to promote Banten specialties. There are many cases of promoting food other than local food using local food hashtags. This way certainly does not increase public awareness of the existence of local Banten food so that local food is not too recognized in the local food universe in Indonesia and loses prestige with other local foods. Therefore, it is necessary to assist local food SMEs in Banten by using social media optimally to introduce a variety of local Banten foods. This effort is expected to help MSMEs to introduce local food to the broader community. By using social media, it is hoped that the wider community will recognize the variety of local foods in the province of Banten and, at the same time, disseminate information on local food so that information about local food in Banten is widely spread. Keywords : local food, promote, social media, micro business

Abstract

This article aims to describe how the movement carried out by the Juang Community of Lebak, Indonesia, encouraged and empowered the community to develop honey bee cultivation in Lebak Regency amidst the growing issue of local food innovation and diversification. This study contributes to the studies of the movement of honey bee cultivation, which are so far still understudied. Research on honey bees commonly focuses on collaboration with government or community empowerment. This study, however, tries to look at the social movements aimed at developing honey production in local contexts using a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results show that the Juang Community of Lebak was a driving force for the community in Kampung Buana in cultivating honey bees. It attempted various activities such as building collaboration, strengthening and developing resources, and seeking wider networks for a more open market. However, the movement had difficulties in establishing good collaboration from various parties to jointly develop the potential of honey bees in Lebak Regency.

Abstract

This study describes the hegemony produced by the Saudi Arabian state through the kafala system in the relationship between employers and female migrant domestic workers from Indonesia. The kafala system creates many problems due to the structural dependence between domestic migrant workers and their employers, ranging from heavy workloads and irregular wages to restrictions on access to mobility. Employers as individual sponsors have a large dominance of power so that the working conditions for domestic migrant workers become unbalanced. This study is analyzed using Antonio Gramsci's hegemonic perspective with three indicators of understanding, namely the ruling class, defense of the domination of the ruling class, and the crisis of ruling class hegemony. This study was dissected using a qualitative critical approach. This study indicates that the hegemony in this research phenomenon belongs to a declining level of hegemony characterized by the potential for disintegration hidden beneath the surface. Various restrictive Saudi Arabian regulations hamper the awareness of civil society, which has been gradually awakened. The limitations of civil society on access to participatory democracy have resulted in mass resistance to the Kafala system not coming to the surface.

Abstract

As one of the national priority programs included in the National Action Plan to Reduce Stunting Rates, stunting still needs to be solved. Various policies and programs implemented by the government will only run optimally and effectively in reducing the prevalence of stunting if partnerships with universities accompany them in creating interventions. This intervention is needed to change the community's mindset regarding providing adequate and balanced nutrition at 1000 days of life to prevent stunting. In Pandeglang in 2022, the prevalence of stunting is still at 28.4%, still above the average figure for Banten Province, which is 20.0%. Previously in 2021, the prevalence of stunting in Pandeglang Regency reached 39.5%. This figure is far from the Indonesian Government's target to reduce stunting by only 14% in 2024. Therefore this community service is here to help raise awareness in the community regarding the dangers of stunting. Three activities were carried out: Socialization of a Clean, Healthy Lifestyle; Stunting Socialization; and Family Planning Village Socialization. With this activity, the community will become aware of preventing stunting from an early age, starting from the smallest scope, namely the family.

Abstract

The existence of women in the village realm is a dilemmatic phenomenon. On the one hand, female leaders can demonstrate the breaking down of stigma and stereotypes that women will not appropriately fill the public sphere. On the other hand, their existence is no different from formality, ignoring the substance and representation of women's interests. This research seeks to compare three villages that were and are currently led by women. Do they reflect inclusiveness? This inclusiveness from the campaign period to the dynamics when taking office will be seen. The research results show that not all female leaders at the village level can design inclusiveness. In carrying out village development planning deliberations, for example, women's involvement is more to overcome administrative requirements than to accommodate their interests.

Abstract

Heteonormativity is a view that makes transwomen a subject of discrimination and stigma. The discrimination and stigma received by transwomen in Cianjur Regency are inseparable from the construction of the Cianjur community, which is predominantly by Islamic values as the basis for society to normalize these actions. Cianjur is a city in West Java that has a strong history of Islamic movements in West Java. The life of the Cianjur people is influenced by Sundanese and Islamic cultures, which mingle in the joints of the community's social, cultural, and political life. Srikandi Panghegar exists as a community that fights against heteronormativity in Cianjur Regency. This study uses the theory of social movements from the perspective of LGBT, as proposed by Mary Bernstein (1997) with a qualitative research method using a case study approach, the results of this study explain the spread of identity as a method used in collective action as the goal of social movements in terms of gaining acceptance of stigmatized identities to change institutions. However, Srikandi Panghegar Cianjur has not yet reached the stage of changing institutions because movement mobilization is still focused on the community itself and movements only on a small scale at the district level. The spread of identity can then be examined in two forms: identity for critique (identity for criticism) and identity for education (identity for education).
