Abstract

The rise and growing prevalence of juvenile delinquency is a matter of concern for many parties. This study aims to establish a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire that can be deployed to assess the learning environment perceived by high school students. This research endeavor constitutes a developmental study, wherein the outcomes are a single survey instrument encompassing six variables, nineteen indicators, and forty questions. The data-collecting process involved the utilization of a Google Form across five schools in five districts, containing a total of 1615 participants. The analysis of expert data was conducted utilizing V. Aiken and field trials employing confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) Second Order. The findings of this study indicate that the diagnostic survey instrument used to assess the learning environment's impact on the mental health of high school students demonstrated validity, as evidenced by loading factor values exceeding the established minimal threshold. The reliability of the instrument remains insufficient. This survey can be utilized to detect adolescent persistent tendencies carried out by students or other school members that interfere with mental health: the emergence and significant raising of juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

Learning in the new average era presents challenges and opportunities, particularly in implementing blended learning in teaching and learning processes. This study aims to analyze the effect of blended learning implementation on students' learning outcomes in history education at SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta and evaluate its effectiveness in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation to measure the relationships between variables and simple linear regression to determine the impact. The results show a significant positive effect of blended learning implementation on students' learning outcomes. A correlation value of 0.345 supports this finding, with a simple linear regression test indicating that the calculated r-value (3.446) exceeds the table r-value (1.987), thus accepting the alternative hypothesis. Students' cognitive and psychomotor aspects showed significant improvement, with an average score of 87. In contrast, the affective aspect, encompassing spiritual and social attitudes, reflected good behaviour among grade XI social studies students. These findings affirm that blended learning effectively improves students' learning outcomes by integrating technology with traditional approaches. The strength of blended learning lies in its flexibility and potential to create interactive and immersive learning experiences. This study provides significant insights, emphasizing the crucial role of educators and education policymakers in adopting innovative learning strategies to enhance the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

Abstract

History learning has great potential in building students' historical awareness. However, most students still find it difficult to understand historical concepts, especially those related to past events and cannot be experienced directly. This research evaluates how effective the outing class method is in comparison to traditional methods for enhancing history learning outcomes. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design that incorporates pre-tests and post-tests within the control group, a quantitative approach is employed in this study. A sample comprising two classes X at SMA N 1 Dukuhwaru was determined using a random sampling technique. The experimental group engaged with the outing class method, whereas the control group followed the conventional approach. Findings from the paired sample t-test indicated a notable improvement in the experimental group (p < 0.05), with the average post-test score rising from 71.3 to 89.0, while the control group only increased from 66.7 to 69.8. Bibliometric analysis also shows a lack of similar research in the historical context. The study confirms that Outing Classes can significantly improve student learning outcomes, as well as recommending broader implementation in the history curriculum for a more contextual and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

Purpose – As digital disruption and global inequalities reshape the future of work, vocational education is increasingly recognized as essential for skills development and social mobility. However, the field remains marked by thematic fragmentation—between traditional foci such as curriculum and pedagogy and emerging priorities like digitalization, equity, and learner well-being—and significant geographical imbalance, with research output dominated by a few high-income countries. This study maps the intellectual and policy landscape of vocational education research (2000–2024) to clarify its alignment with urgent global challenges.Method – A total of 11,781 Scopus-indexed articles was analyzed using bibliometric tools in R, including keyword co-occurrence, thematic mapping, and international collaboration network analysis to reveal dominant clusters and neglected themes. Findings – Research in vocational education is anchored in curriculum and employability, yet digital skills, gender inclusion, and mental health remain underexplored. Publication is concentrated in Australia, the US, Germany, and China, reinforcing North–South disparities and limiting global integration. While interest in innovation is rising, persistent conceptual fragmentation still hinders policy impact. Research Implications – Policymakers should move beyond rhetoric to embed digital skills, equity, and well-being in policy and curricula. Future research needs to address underrepresented issues and regions, foster cross-country collaboration, and better translate evidence into practice. The focus on English-language, Scopus-indexed articles may exclude some regional scholarship.
