Abstract

Kelompok Budidaya Ikan di Desa Pekayon masih belum bisa memasarkna hasil panen ikannya dengan baik. Selain itu pemahaman mereka mengenai proses pemasaran juga masih rendah. Sehingga dibutuhkan kegiatan pelatihan kewirausahaan agar kelompok budidaya ikan mampu melakukan kegiatan wirausahanya dan dapat menumbuhkan jiwa entrepreneur dengan baik. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan kepada kelompok budidaya ikan dalam memahami bisnis usaha dan pemasaran dengan baik. Peserta kegiatan merupakan masyarakat desa Citorek Timur dengan jumlah peserta 20 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi wawancara, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket/kuesioner kegiatan. Kegiatan ini menambah pengetahuan kelompok budidaya ikan tentang kewiraushaan terutama dalam memulai berbisnis dan melakukan pemasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berjalan dengan baik dan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai kewirausahaan yang dialami peserta yaitu sebelum mengikuti kegiatan 32% dan setelah mengikuti kegiatan 68%. Sehingga terdapat peningkatan pemahaman kewirausahaan sebesar 36 %. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan para pembudidaya ikan sehingga mereka memiliki niat dan bersungguh-sungguh dalam menjalankan usahanya.

Abstract

This study explores the ethnoscience in Batik Lasem, a cultural heritage of Indonesia rich in scientific and aesthetic values. The research aims to identify and analyze the traditional knowledge embedded in the motifs and techniques of Batik Lasem, and how these values are integrated into the local community's life. The research methods include literature review, direct observation, and interviews with batik artisans and cultural experts. The findings reveal that Batik Lasem is not only an artistic expression but also reflects a deep understanding of local ecology, natural dyeing, and philosophy of life. The scientific values found in the batik-making process, such as the use of natural materials and eco-friendly dyeing techniques, demonstrate great potential for integration with modern science. The study concludes that Batik Lasem can serve as a medium for education and cultural preservation, as well as an inspiration for the development of science based on local culture

Abstract

Physics is one of the abstract subjects that require visualization so that learning media is needed so that students are able to understand the concepts studied. One of the learning media that displays visualization by utilizing technology in the form of educational games. This study aims to analyze the development of educational game learning media in physics learning with a bibliometric approach using VOSViewer software. The method used in this study is bibliometric analysis. There are 6 clusters of classification through VOSViewer software. The results of the study obtained articles used with the title "educational games" and "learning media", as well as the keyword "physics learning" began to increase rapidly in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. The article was produced from various universities in Indonesia and uses Indonesian. In this study, 4 clusters were obtained that discussed the topic of developing educational game learning media in physics learning. For the topic of developing educational game learning media, it has been quite widely done, but for the topic of the effectiveness of the use of educational games in physics learning, it is still rare for a study to be carried out.Keywords: educational games, learning media, physics learning, bibliometric, vosviewer.

Abstract

This research is part of the development of critical thinking skills instruments in physics lessons for eleventh-grade high school students. In this section, the purpose of this study is to analyze the content validity of the instrument. The instruments developed consist of 20 multiple-choice questions constructed based on indicators of critical thinking skills, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, and explanation. Furthermore, this instrument was assessed qualitatively and quantitatively by 6 experts with assessment aspects including: 1) The questions fit the CTS indicator, 2) The stimulus/stem fits the questions, 3) The questions are clearly formulated, and 4) The problem description is clear and unambiguous.The method used in this research is a descriptive analysis method for content validation based on Aikens' Formula. Data for content validation were obtained from 9 experts, comprising 6 lecturers and 3 physics teachers from high schools in Jakarta. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that 20 items of the complex multiple-choice test instrument to measure the critical thinking ability of eleventh-grade high school physics students are declared valid based on Aiken's Validity.

Abstract

Learning physics on the subject of energy still seems difficult for students. To overcome this problem, teaching materials that can clearly explain physics concepts such as modules were needed. The purpose of this research was to develop a physics learning module that is suitable as teaching material referring to the expert validator's assessment. The research method used was the research and development method with the development process using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The data collection instrument consisted of material expert validation sheets, media experts and linguists. The results of the study obtained the percentage of the validation value of 83.86% with a good category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the physics learning module based on discovery learning on the subject of energy was valid to be used as an alternative teaching material in physics learning.

Abstract

Difficulty understanding students' concepts needs to be known so that improvements can be made so that eventually students can master the concepts well. Misconception diagnostic tests can be an alternative to uncovering causes or factors of misconception in students. This study aims to develop a Four-Tier Test diagnostic test instrument to diagnose students' misconceptions on circular motion material. This research is a development study using 4D models. The developed four-tier test diagnostic test instrument consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. The results of the content validation by five experts stated that the instrument was very feasible with an average percentage of 86,34%. Empirical trial results show as many as 40 valid diagnostic test items have enough to good power a level of difficulty and discrimination power. The reliability of the questions was analyzed using the Kuder Richardson formula of 0.785 with a high category. This instrument can be used to minimize the time spent in the process of identifying misconceptions because it is in the form of multiple-choice with varied questions.

Abstract

The students’ scientific literacy nowadays is relatively low because the lack of media learning to improve scientific literacy. This research aimed to test the feasibility of developed Android-based comics on material style and motion to scientific literacy. This study used a research and development using ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model. The subject of this research is students from grade VIII at one of the junior high school in Indonesia. The instruments of this research are validation sheets and student response sheets. The result of validation test in term of material expert acquired on average percentages of 93.26% and media experts at 97.08%. Moreover, the pretest of students' scientific literacy is 2.26, and the post-test of students' scientific literacy is 3.40, with the N-gain formula obtained a value of 0.72 with the category "High". Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed Android-based comics as an alternative media are worthy to be used according to expert recommendation and students’ responses. Android-based comics can be used to improve students’ scientific literacy. The implications for future teaching appear to be that Android-based comics have clear value as an innovative tool.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the 2013 curriculum through the problem-based learning (PBL) model in science education to improve the activity and learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMPIT Arrahmah, specifically on the classification of substances with concepts in Cycle I focusing on acids, bases, and salts, while Cycle II covers natural indicators. The study was conducted on a class of 20 students and one teacher. The research subjects were determined based on the consideration of the science teacher and the researcher. The learning model used was problem-based learning. Data were obtained through pre-tests before the lessons were conducted and post-tests after the lessons, along with student experiment activities and teacher activities during each cycle of the learning process. The pre-test and post-test were used to assess students' learning outcomes (gain index) in each cycle, as PBL was applied in the classroom. The evaluation tool for learning outcomes was multiple-choice tests to assess the improvement in students' understanding of mixtures, acids, bases, and salts. Based on the analysis of the learning process, improving students' activity and learning outcomes through the PBL model in science education resulted in an 82% improvement in activity (Cycle I) and 89% (Cycle II), teacher achievement in teaching increased from 79.31% (Cycle I) to 96% (Cycle II). Learning outcomes in the affective domain improved by 72% (Cycle I) and 96% (Cycle II), while the cognitive domain had a gain index of 0.44 (Cycle I, moderate category) and 0.64 (Cycle II, high category). The psychomotor domain increased from 75% (Cycle I) to 86% (Cycle II). The students' response to the PBL model in learning the human nervous system showed a positive response, with 92% liking science, 85% preparing for lessons, 85% understanding the material, 97% appreciating the presence of acids, bases, and salts in life, and 88% collaborating in groups.

Abstract

To enhance problem-solving skills in physics education, a learning model strategy is needed that can effectively visualize physics concepts and promote interactive learning. One of the learning approaches that can be utilized is gamification. This study aims to analyze the implementation of gamification in physics education using a bibliometric approach with the VOSViewer software. The method used in this study is bibliometric analysis. There are 5 classification clusters identified through the VOSViewer software. The results of the study show that articles using the keywords "physics education" and "gamification" have significantly increased in 2020, 2021, and 2022. From the analysis using VOSViewer, the words "physics" and "gamification" frequently appeared, indicating that there has been considerable research on gamification. However, it becomes an innovation when linked to physics education, both in terms of teaching and learning media

Abstract

Deep learning-based instructional strategies have been increasingly applied in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) education to enhance students' conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills. This study aims to review various IPAS teaching strategies that adopt deep learning principles through a systematic analysis of literature from the past five years. The research method employed is a systematic review of academic sources discussing the implementation of deep learning strategies in IPAS education. The synthesis results indicate that strategies such as Project-Based Learning, Problem-Based Learning, and collaborative learning are highly effective in improving student learning outcomes. Additionally, the integration of digital technology plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of deep learning-based education. However, several challenges in its application were identified, including limited resources and teacher readiness in designing lessons that facilitate in-depth exploration. Therefore, further development of adaptable implementation models and enhanced teacher competencies are necessary to optimize deep learning-based instructional strategies in IPAS education.
