Abstract

The purpose of this paper to determine the complex projective space  as a complex manifold is to calculate the cohomology of the coherent sheaves of . The research method in this paper is to construct an -dimensional complex projective space, namely  and then the n-dimensional complex projective space, namely , is a complex manifold. The result of this research is the -dimensional complex projective space, namely is a complex and compact manifold.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a realistic e-module based on quality Sigil software that can be seen in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research is a research and development, while the development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The instrument that will be used in this study are validation sheets, questionnaire student responses sheets, and test question. Data obtained from the study were then analyzed in terms of feasibility. The eligibility module, is allowed to be valid, effective and practical. In terms of  validity, the average score given by media experts was 3,41 with the criteria “valid” while the realistic experts gave an average score of 3,00 with the criteria “valid”, and the material expert gave an average score for the learning scheme of e,69 with “valid” criteria. Based on practicality, the score given by students gets an average score of 83% with the criteria “very practical”. The effectiveness of the product can be seen from the percentage of completeness of the test scores that is obtained by 90% of all test subjects.Keywords:    E-modules; Realistic Mathematics Education (RME); Circle; Sigil

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah:  (1) pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan metode penemuan dapat menghasilkan prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik daripada penggunaan metode ekspo-sitori, (2) prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai kreativitas belajar matematika lebih tinggi lebih baik, (3) prestasi belajar matematika siswa antara siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan metode penemuan dan metode ekspositori konsisten untuk tiap-tiap kreativitas belajar matematika siswa, dan perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika siswa antara siswa dengan kreativitas belajar matematika yang tinggi, kreativitas belajar matematika yang sedang dan kreativitas belajar matematika yang rendah konsisten untuk tiap-tiap metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial 2 × 3 dengan populasi  siswa kelas VI SD Negeri di Kecamatan Nusawungu Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010 sejumlah 56 SD. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan stratified cluster random sampling sejumlah 23. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes  prestasi belajar dan angket kreativitas belajar. Instrumen divali-dasi oleh validator. Reliabilitas tes diuji dengan rumus KR-20 dan angket diuji dengan rumus Alpha. Sampel berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan ANAVA dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Dengan α = 0,05 : (1) F = 85,2049 > 3,84 = F          =F  berarti pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan metode penemu-an menghasilkan prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik dari metode ekspositori, (2) F  = 32,8727 > 3,00 = F  = F  berarti prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai kreativitas belajar matematika lebih tinggi lebih baik, (3) F  = 1,3146 < 3,00 = F  = F  berarti karakteristik perbedaan antara pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan metode penemuan dan metode ekspositori untuk setiap kreativitas belajar matematika siswa sama. Ini berarti pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan metode penemuan lebih baik daripada metode ekspositori jika ditinjau pada masing-masing kreativitas belajar matematika siswa. Hasil komparasi ganda antar kolom diperoleh bahwa (1) siswa dengan kreativitas belajar matematika tinggi mempunyai prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik daripada siswa dengan kreativitas belajar matematika sedang (F.1-.2 = 36,2122 > 6,00 = F ), (2) siswa dengan kreativitas belajar matematika tinggi mempunyai prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai kreativitas belajar matematika rendah (F.1-.3 = 113,9291 > 6,00 = F ), (3) siswa dengan kreativitas belajar matematika sedang mempunyai prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai kreativitas belajar matematika rendah (F.2-.3 = 27,0970 > 6,00 = F ). Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ creative thinking skills to solve arithmetic progression and series with the open-ended method. The study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were three students of junior high school have high mathematical abilities. Data were collected by tests, interviews, field notes, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the triangulation method to gain a deeper understanding of the subject under study. The results of this study show that the student's ability to creative thinking because it meets three indicators of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. For the research conducted to get good results, the subject should find answers that can be categorized in creative thinking indicators in the form of novelty.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the occurrence of pseudo thinking of high school students who have a normal IQ in solving the mathematical problems in the material Position and Distance from Point, Line, and Field. This research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected by through giving tests and verification with interviews. The subject is taken using the snowball technique. The research subjects were students who had a normal IQ (80-119). Where subject who have a normal IQ in this research are two students. The data analysis techniques used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results of the analysis it was found that high school students with normal IQ have a low understanding of the concepts in Geometry (Position and Distance from Points, Line, and Fields).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical disposition of students who have sanguine and melancholic personality types, and whether the mathematical disposition of students with sanguine types is higher than melancholic types. The population in this study was 260 seventh grade students of Junior High School in the Pituruh district. Sampling using a proportionate random sampling technique was taken as many as 65 students. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and tests. The results of the first study showed that the mathematical disposition of seventh-grade students in the Pituruh Subdistrict in the 2019 school year in terms of the sanguine and melancholic personality types of more than 60%. The second research result shows that there are differences in mathematical disposition between sanguine and melancholic types, where the mathematical disposition of students with sanguine personality types is higher than students with melancholic personality types.

Abstract

The background of this research is come from the fact which is not available in teaching material according to background from students culture in Indonesia. Therefore, the result of this research is to produce a product students Mathematics worksheet which is combination the material and culture value especially Borobudur temple. The aims of the research is to find out validation of product LKS elementary school based ethnomatematics with the setting of Borobudur temple on two-dimentional figure theory. The development model is used in this research is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evalaluation). This research has produced a student worksheet which is integration ethnomatematics of Borobudur Temple in a two-dimentional figure theory that is valid. The criteria of validity is find out from 6 validator assesments, these are 2 media experts with an average of 3.3, 2 theory experts with an average of 3.4, and 2 learning experts with a score of 3.5. The average of the overall ratings is 3.4 categorized valid. Based on these results, LKS which is developed categorized valid.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a culture-based mathematics learning model through traditional Javanese games and find out the feasibility so that it could be used for elementary school students. This development research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Through these stages of development, it produce culture-based mathematics learning model through traditional Javanese games products with the main products in the form of model books, student books, teacher books, syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheets. The research subjects were 19 fourth grade students at Klegenwonosari Elementary School. The data collection techniques in this study were carried out test and non-test. The data analysis technique in this study was in scores and percentages. Starting from the needs analysis of learning models, culture-based needs analysis, and curriculum analysis it is known that the use of mathematical learning models through traditional games has been done but outside learning, students were lack of knowledge about the traditional Javanese culture games that were Gobag Sodor and Engklek. Based on the results of the study, the mathematical learning model through traditional Javanese games fulfills the valid criteria with an average score of 3.79 from the model expert's assessment. Fulfill the effective criteria by obtaining the results of completeness of students 84.21% and get very positive students responses with a percentage of 90.90%. Therefore, Culture-based Mathmatics learning model through traditional Javanese games is suitable for elementary students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the appropriateness of ethnomatematics-based e-modules that explore Islamic values and culture in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This type of research is a research and development method using the Borg and Gall model. Through these stages of development, a major product is produced in the form of e-modules based on ethnomatematics that explore Islamic values and culture. Subjects in this study were students of SMP Negeri 4 Purworejo 2019/2020 Academic Year. The instrument used in this study was an assessment sheet by material experts, media experts, cultural experts, atomathematics experts, student questionnaires and evaluation test questions. The results obtained were a feasibility test through a questionnaire conducted by material experts, media experts, cultural experts and ethnomatematics experts meeting valid criteria with an average of 3.63. Ethnomatematics-based e-Modules that explore Islamic values and culture meet practical criteria with an average of 3.11 and show the level of practicality with good criteria. Ethnomatematics-based e-modules that explore the values and culture of Islam meet the effectiveness criteria by giving a very positive response with a percentage of 91% of the learning process and showing the completeness of student learning reaches 92% complete. These data indicate that the e-modules developed in this study are categorized as feasible to use reaching 92% complete. The data shows that the e-modules developed in this study are categorized as suitable for use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compile a mathematical module that integrates Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) models to develop critical thinking skills of high school students. The development model used in this study is the Plomp development model. Plomp development model consists of 4 stages, namely (a) Investigation Stage, (b) Designing Stage, (c) Realization / Construction Stage, (d) Test Stage, Evaluation, and Revision. The method used to collect data is questionnaire, observation, test of learning outcomes, and documentation. The instruments used were validity sheets, practicality sheets, and effectiveness sheets. Modules are said to be feasible if it meets the criteria  of valid, practical and effective. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. After data analysis, product validity assessment was categorized as very good with an average percentage of 85,15%, practicality assessment categorized as good with a percentage of 76,67%, and effectiveness assessment categorized as good with a percentage of 64,5%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the mathematics module that integrates the PCK model is appropriate to be used to develop critical thinking skills of senior high school students.
