Abstract

This research is motivated by the social problems of junior high school children in Panggul Village, Trenggalek, whose parents work as female migrant workers. The children show symptoms of lack of socialization, low self-confidence, and minimal emotional support from their mothers. This study aims to analyze the social competence and social responsibility of these children. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Informants consisted of 11 people, namely TKW husbands, substitute families, community leaders, and junior high school children. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that junior high school children in Panggul Village who are left by their parents as TKW have the ability to interact with family, friends, and the community, but tend to have less understanding of the social conditions around them due to their indifference and lack of self-confidence. They are closed, have minimal empathy due to lack of role models from parents, and only show concern for peers. In terms of responsibility, these children have awareness of interacting with family, but still lack overall concern.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low enthusiasm and participation of students in social studies learning which is considered boring due to the lack of facilities and less varied learning methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence and magnitude of the influence of the Example Non Examples learning model on improving the argumentation skills of grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Srengat. This study used a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group design. The research sample consisted of 30 control class students and 27 experimental class students selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and learning outcome tests, then analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test and Effect Size tests. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the Example Non Examples learning model on improving students' argumentation skills, with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Cohen's d test showed a value of 6.140 which indicated a large influence. These findings indicate that the Example Non Examples model is effective in improving students' argumentation skills in social studies subjects, so it can be used as an alternative learning model to create more active and meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of price perception and product quality on customer satisfaction of Skintific skincare products. Price perception refers to the amount of money exchanged for a product or service, while product quality consists of various attributes that influence how well a product meets customer expectations. A higher product quality increases a company's chance of attracting customers. This research employed a quantitative method with a sample of 100 Skintific consumers. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires. The results showed that price perception has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a t-value of 11.889 (t count > t table: 11.889 > 1.988). Likewise, product quality also has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a t-value of 17.025 (t count > t table: 17.025 > 1.988). Furthermore, the F-test result showed that the calculated F (220.109) is greater than the F-table value (3.09), indicating that price perception and product quality simultaneously have a significant influence on customer satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance for companies to pay attention to both price perception and product quality to increase consumer satisfaction with skincare products.
