Abstract

Folklore is about moral values, cultural values, psychological values, and advice in living a life. In the legend of Yogyakarta Special Region Province and containing moral values, there are also ethics in treating the universe. It is proven by the folklore of Yogyakarta Special Region Province there are concepts of environmental ethics in it. Such as respect for nature, responsibility to heart, cosmic solidarity, compassion and care for the character, no harm and simple living, and harmony with nature. The physical background in Yogyakarta Special Region Province's folklore also uses many physical locations in the form of environment, such as forests, rivers, hills, villages, fields. Literary ecology has a part in this because literary ecology is a science that discusses the reciprocal relationship between literature and nature, or vice versa. Keywords: Folklore, Literary Ecology, Environmental Ethics, Physical Background (Environment)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ketidakadilan sosial serta persamaan dan perbedaan pada puisi “Jas Berdasi” karya Frida Nurhidayah dengan puisi “Tikus Berdasi” karya Urbana Dyah menggunakan metode deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan perbandingan dan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesamaan tema ketidakadilan social pada puisi “Jas Berdasi” dan “Tikus Berdasi”. Bentuk ketidakadilan pada kedua puisi tersebut meliputi ketidakadilan marginalisasi, subordinatif dan dominasi. Perbedaan  dari kedua puisi tersebut yaitu pada puisi “Jas Berdasi” karya Frida Nurhidayah menyampaikan bentuk ketidakadilan sosial yang dilakukan oleh penguasa kepada petani. Kemudian, pada puisi “Tikus Berdasi” karya Urbana Dyah lebih membahas ketidakadilan sosial yang terjadi antara pemimpin kepada rakyat kecil. Kedua puisi tersebut menyampaikan pesan yang sama yaitu agar pemimpin dan yang dipimpin memiliki sinergitas yang bagus supaya menciptakan sistem yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the religiosity value of two poetry titles, namely "Surat dari Ibu" by Asrul Sani and the poem "Ibu" by D Zawawi Imron. This research uses a comparative approach with a qualitative descriptive method, by describing the results of data analysis in the form of sentence descriptions. The results of the discussion showed that there was a relationship between the two titles of the poem from the elements of Theme, Taste, Tone, Mandate, Diction, Imagery and Style of language contained in it. Other results show that there is a religious value of the two titles of the poem, namely about the mother of a noble woman in the eyes of God, as the child is obliged to glorify her for what a mother has given to her child.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai religiusitas dari dua judul puisi yaitu Surat dari Ibu karya Asrul Sani dan puisi Ibu karya D Zawawi Imron. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan komparatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan cara mendeskripsikan hasil analisis data dalam bentuk uraian kalimat. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat relasi antara kedua judul puisi tersebut dari unsur tema, rasa, nada, amanat, diksi, imaji dan gaya bahasa yang terkandung di dalamnya. Hasil lainnya menunjukkan bahwa terkandung nilai religi dari kedua judul puisi tersebut yakni tentang Ibu sosok wanita yang mulia di mata Tuhan, sebagai anak diwajibkan untuk memuliakannya atas apa yang telah diberikan seorang Ibu terhadap anaknya.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are, (1) to describe the form of the hierarchy of needs in the novel Nyala Semesta by Farah Qoonita and (2) to describe the character of Khalid in the novel. This research is a descriptive method, which describes the situation of how the fulfillment of the hierarchy of needs carried out by Khalid's character. The approach used is the literary psychology approach. The technique used in data collection is literature study. The data analysis technique is content analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of the novel Nyala Semesta by Farah Qoonita, a multilevel hierarchy of needs was found in Khalid's character, including physiological needs in the form of air and food; security needs in the form of peace, security and protection; love and belonging needs in the form of affection; self-esteem needs in the form of status, self-esteem, and authority; self-actualization needs in the form of new experiences, kinship, ethics, humility, and attention. The character of Khalid includes compassion, hard work, patience, firmness, loyalty, curiosity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk skema siksa neraka pada syair “Bayan Budiman”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, kemudian subjek penelitainnya adalah syair “Bayan Budiman. Sedangkan objek penelitian yang digunakan berupa objek material dan objek formal. Objek materialnya adalah syair “Bayan Budiman” dan objek formalnya adalah struktur naratif. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik baca. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa didalam syair “Bayan Budiman” ditemukan skema tentang siksa neraka dalam bait 221-231, dengan bentuk skema berupa ζ– ζ – a – ζ – N – N – a – γ – N – a –N – ζ – a - β - Rs – γ – a – N – a – N.

Abstract

The best learning is a learning process that is supported by the application of functional learning tools. With the development of needs in the world of education with the global era, significant learning is designed by adjusting to the era of students familiar with technology. However, it is not easy for teachers to move to make full use of various technologies with various limitations. This study aims to present conceptual technology-based learning media based on the experience of junior high school teachers in West Sumatra in learning folk poetry with a qualitative research approach. The respondents in this study were ten teachers who were determined based on the purposive sampling method.  Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with individual teachers. Interview data was analyzed with a content analysis approach to content analysis. This study found that technology-based learning media is a learning aid that utilizes technology, namely using projectors as tools, using YouTube videos, utilizing music, musicalization, and making videos uploaded on social media and YouTube. The interview results showed that teachers who mastered the concept of technology media were found to be able to innovate learning media to increase the success and achievement of learning and could strengthen the character, culture, and profile of Pancasila

Abstract

In the 1920s, pantun became part of Islamic religious education in the archipelago. The aim of this study is to describe Islamic religious education in Pantun Melayu published by Balai Pustaka. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research object of interest in this research is Islamic religious education in Pantun Melayu. Data was collected using reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed using content analysis based on the Islamic religious education data group in Pantun Melayu. The results of this study show that Islamic religious education in Pantun Melayu includes monotheism education, sharia education, moral education and education through Islamic stories. The five types of education in this pantun can be used as a medium for da'wah to strengthen the delivery of the message of Islamic education.

Abstract

Malay ethics is closely related to human behavior and actions in the social environment. Behavior related to ethics reflects the knowledge possessed by a person in determining good and bad things. The development of society, especially Malay is very important to be able to understand the ethical mindset. The Malay community views ethics as a very important thing to consider in showing the identity of customs against the rules of tradition and the surrounding environment. Malay ethics can be found in some of the Malay poems that generally develop in the region of the Sumatera community such as the Nasib Melayu’s poem. A poem is defined as a literary work that has meaning and is poetic in nature. Poem is an old form of literary work that has existed since the emergence of Islamic civilization in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to describe the Malay ethics in Nasib Melayu’s poem contained in the book entitled Kitab Syair, Sejarah, Konsep, dan Contohnya according to Raja Ali Haji's view. This research uses a type of qualitative research that focuses on descriptive. The data collection method uses observation methods with reading and recording techniques. Data analysis in this research uses Paul Ricoeur's Hermeneutics study. The results showed that Malay ethics in Nasib Melayu’s poem contained four ethical elements, namely the morality of the ruler, obedience to sharia, language, and moral environment. Thus, it can be concluded that Nasib Melayu’s poem contains Malay ethics based on Raja Ali Haji's view.

Abstract

MTs LB/A Yaketunis Yogyakarta is an inclusive educational institution specifically for blind people who have an excellent program for memorizing the Qur'an.  MTs LB/A has limited teaching materials that support the success of teaching and learning. One of the obstacles in the learning process is the low mastery of student vocabulary, especially in Indonesian, English, and Arabic learning so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes. This is because there are no braille learning books that support the learning process. The objectives of this activity are (1) providing training on increasing trilingual vocabulary, namely Indonesian, English, and Arabic in fulfilling aspects of reading, writing, speaking, and vocabulary for MTs LB/A Yaketunis Yogyakarta students; (2) Creation and application of optimal learning resources for blind students through learning modules. The methods of this activity are (a) determination of partners, conducting surveys and discourses, (c) licensing, (d) material development, module preparation, making Trilingual Language modules, Braille Trilingual Language development program manuals, Braille Games (Puzzle Beam and Braille Flashcard, (e) conducting pretests, implementing modules and games, implementing postes, (f) program evaluation. The result of this training activity is an increase in students' ability to master vocabulary Indonesian 27%, English 28%, and Arabic 37%. The realization of learning materials for Braille Trilingual Language and Braille Games modules can improve students' knowledge and skills in learning three languages.
