Abstract

Development of a case method-based Balaghah learning module: a solution to improve students’ understanding of Balaghah science. The development of technology in the world of education encourages the development of innovative learning media that can transform abstract materials into more concrete ones and encourage student involvement. Objective: The objective of this study is to develop a Balaghah learning module based on the case method that is feasible, practical, and effective to improve students' understanding of Balaghah science. Method: This study is a development research using the ADDIE development model. This study involved 76 students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Makassar State University, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study include interviews, validation, observation for the implementation of learning, and Balaghah understanding tests. Data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics and inferential tests, and supported by qualitative analysis. Findings: Our research findings indicate that the developed case method-based Balaghah learning module is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' understanding of Balaghah. The feasibility of this case method-based Balaghah learning module is demonstrated through assessments by media experts (91%) and material experts (95%). The practicality of the case method-based Balaghah learning module is supported by lecturers’ assessment (90%), small-scale trials (92%), and large-scale trials (91%). In addition, the effectiveness analysis using a quasi-experimental design produced a t-test of 5.18 and a significance value less than 0.05. Meanwhile, the effect size of (d = 2.45; P < 0.05) indicates a strong impact. Conclusion: The case method-based Balaghah learning module has proven effective in improving students' understanding of Balaghah. Integrating a case method-based approach into Balaghah teaching can be an innovative strategy for making learning more concrete, contextual, and meaningful. Keywords: arabic, balaghah, case method, learning module.

Abstract

This research aims to know the five names in Surat Yusuf, classify them, and explain their parsing. This research is a desk research that relies on books, publications and scientific journals related to the subject. The type of this research is analytical descriptive research based on the analysis and characterization of the content. There are three ways to analyze data: it begins with identifying the data, then classifying it, and finally presenting the data. After collecting and analyzing the data, the following results emerged: The five names are the names limited to (Akhu - Abu - Fu - Hamu - Dhu). Its ruling is of two types. The first is the five nouns that meet the conditions, so they are nominative with the waw on behalf of the ḍamma, the accusative is with the alif on the behalf of the fatḥa, and it is genitive with the yā’ on the behalf of the kasra, and the second is the five nouns that do not meet the conditions, so they are pronounced with the vowel. The five names that are found in Surat Yusuf are (Abu - Akhu - Dhu), but (Fu - Hamu) are not found in this Surah. The number of verses in Surat Yusuf, which includes the five names, is thirty-two (32) verses, and the number of its words is forty-seven (47) words, and they are as follows: The word (father) is mentioned twenty-seven (27) times, and the word (brother) is mentioned eighteen (18) times. Times, and the word (dhaw) twice. In terms of syntax, there are three sections: The first section is in the nominative case, and its nominative sign is the waw and the damma. The waw is found in four (4) words, and the damma is found in five (5) words. The second part is in the accusative case with three signs The alif, the fatha, and the yā’, so the alif is in fourteen (14) words, the fatha is in one (1) word, and the ya’ is in two (2) words. The third section is in the genitive case with two signs: The yā’ and the kasra, the yā’ is in twenty-one (21) words, and the kasra is in six (6) words.

Abstract

مستخلص البحثيهدف هذا البحث لتحليل الأخطاء في نطق الحروف الهجائية لطلاب الصف التاسع بالمدرسة الثانوية دار الاستقامة ماكسر. نوع هذا البحث هو نوعي وصفي. مجتمع وعينة هذا البحث هي الطلاب الصف التاسع بالمدرسة الثانوية دار الاستقامة ماكسر مع مجموع 13 طالبا. وبناء على نتائج هذا البحث يمكن الاستنتاج أن الطلاب ارتكبوا 63 خطأ في نطق الحروف الهجائية. وهذه الأخطاء عبارة عن أخطاء في النطق لا تتوافق مع مخرج الجوف يقع في الفئة المنخفضة وهي 4 أخطاء من إجمالي أخطاء الطلاب بنسبة 6.34%. وأما الأخطاء في النطق في مخرج الحلق في الفئة العليا وهي 38 خطأ من إجمالي أخطاء الطلاب بنسبة 60.31%. عن الأخطاء في النطق في مخرج اللسان تقع في الفئة المتوسطة وهي 21 خطأ من إجمالي أخطاء الطلاب بنسبة 33.33%. أخطاء في النطق في مخرج الشفتين تقع في الفئة الأدنى، وهي 0 أخطاء بالنسبة المئوية 0%. والأخطاء في النطق في مخرج الخيشوم تقع في الفئة المنخفضة وهي 0 أخطاء بالنسبة المئوية 0%.الكلمات المفتاحية : الأخطاء، النطق، حروف الهجائية، دار الاستقامة.

Abstract

Non-Arabic speakers find some problems during their Arabic learning, including spelling. The study limited these problems to the following matters: definition, dictation rules, and the accompanying difficulties. This study is a simple attempt to examine the solutions to these difficulties to improve the level of students' absorption of dictation. This study also addresses the causes of spelling errors. These errors may be attributed to the student, or to the teacher, or to the characteristics of the language itself. In light of these reasons, this study attempts to identify some methods to correct them. The researcher recommends not to adhere to one method on a continuous basis, but rather to combine the different methods, as the teacher deems appropriate, and achieve the purpose of the spelling subject.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Masjid Nur Muhammad, Kabupaten Gowa, dengan tujuan meningkatkan ketepatan pengucapan bacaan shalat serta pemahaman maknanya di kalangan jamaah. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih banyaknya jamaah yang mengalami kesulitan dalam melafalkan bacaan shalat sesuai kaidah tajwid dan fonologi bahasa Arab, serta keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap arti doa-doa yang dibaca. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan adalah ath-tharīqah as-shautiyyah berbasis pendekatan fonetik dan audio-lingual, yang dipadukan dengan penjelasan tafsir tematik sederhana untuk memperkuat penghayatan makna bacaan shalat. Program ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, evaluasi, dan pembentukan kelompok belajar berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan pelafalan jamaah, terutama dalam membedakan huruf-huruf hijaiyah dan menerapkan kaidah panjang-pendek bacaan. Selain itu, pemahaman terhadap makna bacaan juga meningkat, sehingga ibadah shalat dilakukan dengan lebih khusyuk dan penuh kesadaran. Kegiatan ini berdampak pada penguatan kualitas ibadah individu sekaligus membangun budaya belajar bersama di lingkungan masjid, menjadikan masjid sebagai pusat pendidikan nonformal yang aktif dalam pembinaan umat.Kata kunci: bacaan shalat, tajwid, fonetik, ath-tharīqah as-shautiyyah, pengabdian masyarakat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk feminisme dan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terdapat dalam novel Sayyidat Al Qamar karya Jokha Alharthi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan feminisme sastra. Data penelitian berupa kutipan naratif, dialog, dan deskripsi tokoh perempuan yang mencerminkan perjuangan, ketidaksetaraan gender, serta nilai pendidikan. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Sayyidat Al Qamar karya Jokha Alharthi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode baca dan catat, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan deskripsi, reduksi, dan seleksi untuk menemukan bentuk ketidaksetaraan gender, perlawanan terhadap sistem patriarki, serta nilai-nilai pendidikan yang meliputi aspek religius, moral, sosial, dan budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perjuangan tokoh-tokoh perempuan dalam novel ini mencerminkan semangat kemandirian, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran untuk memperoleh hak pendidikan serta menentukan jalan hidupnya sendiri. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya kajian sastra feminis Arab modern, khususnya dalam mengungkap hubungan antara gerakan feminisme dan pendidikan sebagai sarana pembebasan perempuan. Penelitian ini memberikan perspektif baru tentang bagaimana karya sastra dapat menjadi media edukatif dalam membangun kesadaran sosial dan nilai-nilai kesetaraan gender di masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstrak. Banyak penelitian melaporkan bahwa pendekatan active learning memilki efek yang signifikan terhadap pembelajaran balaghah dibandingkan pendekatan pembelajaran tradisional. Namun demikian, laporan-laporan terkait efektivitas pendekatan active learning pada pembelajaran balaghah cukup heterogen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan pendekatan active learning dalam pembelajaran balaghah dibandingkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta-analisis group contrast untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian ini. Delapan belas sampel penelitian (k = 18) yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dimasukan dalam meta-analisis ini. Hasil analisis dengan model estimasi random-effect menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan active learning memiliki efek yang lebih signifikan dalam pembelajaran balaghah jika dibandingkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran tradisional, dengan nilai effect size gabungan berada pada kategori efek besar (g = 1,15; p < 0,05). Selain itu, hasil analisis faktor moderator menunjukan bahwa besar kecilnya pengaruh pendekatan active learning pada pembelajaran balaghah dipengaruhi oleh faktor tipe pendekatan active learning (Qb = 64.17; P < 0.05). Temuan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bukti kuat dalam mendesain pembelajaran aktif yang lebih optimal dalam pembelajaran balaghah.Kata Kunci: Active Learning, Pembelajaran Balaghah, Effect Size, Heterogenitas, Meta-Analisis

Abstract

The science of balaghah has an important role in understanding the beauty and accuracy of the meaning of the Arabic language, especially through the study of 'ilm al-ma'ani. One of the main discussions in this branch is uslūb al-qashr, which is a language style that functions to limit and affirm meaning through certain specializations. The study of qashr is important because this language style is widely used in Arabic texts, especially Al-Qur'an, to strengthen meaning and straighten understanding. This research aims to describe the concept of qashr systematically, including the meaning, elements, division, and customs or language tools used in its formation. The research method used is qualitative-descriptive with a literature study approach to classical and contemporary balaghah literature. Research results show that qashr functions as an effective rhetorical tool in affirming the meaning through the restriction of nature or maushuf, both in essence and idhafi. Qashr is divided into qashr haqiqi and qashr idhafi which includes qashr ifrad, qashr qalb, and qashr ta'yīn, and is realized through several qashr customs such as nafy wa istitsnā', lafaz innamā, the use of the letter 'athaf, and the introduction of sentence elements. The conclusion of this study confirms that the understanding of uslūb al-qashr is very important in the analysis of Arabic texts because it contributes greatly to the affirmation of the meaning and rhetorical power of language.

Abstract

Nanti Kita Sambat Tentang Hari Ini (NKSTHI) is a social media platform that develops a merchandise store called Sumber Sambat. Several problems remain unresolved in the business process, including the lack of an inventory management information system, the production process still relies on third parties, and product photography continues to rely on natural light, which is hindered by weather conditions. Based on the background and discussion above, this Community Partnership Program will be implemented to address data management and production issues at Sumber Sambat. This program is implemented through the use of an inventory management information system to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of production data. Additionally, the optimisation of production equipment is carried out to expedite the work process and reduce dependence on third parties in fulfilling product demand. Procurement of product photography lighting equipment is also carried out to expedite the work process and enhance the quality of visual marketing. The results of the activity demonstrate increased efficiency through the implementation of a management information system, as measured by the System Usability Scale (SUS), with a value of 70.625, which falls within the "good" category. The production process becomes faster and more planned thanks to the optimisation of the equipment used. The procurement of product photography lighting equipment has also led to an improvement in the quality of promotional visuals on social media.
