Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of Google Classroom integration with various supporting platforms such as Discord, Articulate Storyline, Wordwall, Padlet, Tinkercad, and Quizizz in improving the quality of interactive learning. This study used a quasi-experimental method with data collection through observation, surveys, and analysis of student learning outcomes. The results showed a significant increase in student engagement, learning satisfaction, and achievement of learning outcomes. The integration of several digital media platforms has proven effective in creating a more dynamic and collaborative learning environment. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas integrasi Google Classroom dengan berbagai platform pendukung seperti Discord, Articulate Storyline, Wordwall, Padlet, Tinkercad, dan Quizizz dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, survei, dan analisis hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterlibatan siswa, kepuasan belajar, dan pencapaian hasil belajar. Integrasi beberapa platform media digital terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih dinamis dan kolaboratif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation models of the use of online-based learning media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Sunan Kalijogo Jabung. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study show that in planning, PAI teachers pay attention to student conditions, facilities and infrastructure, and the school environment before compiling objectives, teaching materials, methods, media, and evaluation techniques. The application of online media involves the use of learning videos from YouTube which are analyzed by students and reinforced with direct explanations. Teachers also involve students in creating learning video content to be uploaded to YouTube. Evaluation is carried out through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach by assessing the creativity, activeness, and suitability of learning videos made by students to the material being taught

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the rapid expansion of online learning programs in higher education, enabling students to access and study course materials independently. The Learning Management System (LMS) is pivotal in supporting this transition. Incorporating gamification elements such as leaderboards, levels, point systems, and badges into LMS platforms can yield mixed effects on learning outcomes. While gamification has shown potential to enhance motivation, and engagement, and create a competitive yet enjoyable learning environment, it can also result in increased stress, demotivation, and distractions if not implemented thoughtfully. This research aims to evaluate the efficacy of gamified LMS platforms by applying the Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM) Perspective Model. The study seeks to understand the factors that influence students' transition from traditional LMS to gamified systems, including motivations (pull factors), dissatisfactions (push factors), and inhibitors (mooring factors). By systematically reviewing 30 scholarly articles published between 2012 and 2022, the research provides insights into the psychological, behavioral, and educational impacts of gamification within LMS environments. The study aims to identify best practices for designing and implementing gamified LMS that maximize positive outcomes such as intrinsic motivation and active participation while mitigating potential downsides. Furthermore, it explores the implications of gamification for improving educational outcomes and informing future technological innovations in e-learning.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas hubungan antara kecerdasan buatan (AI), khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning), dan perspektif epistemologi. Seiring dengan berkembangnya AI yang berbasis data dan ateoretis, pendekatan ini menantang paradigma epistemologi tradisional yang berfokus pada teori dan justifikasi pengetahuan universal. AI, dengan kemampuannya untuk memberikan personalisasi berdasarkan data yang kontekstual, membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap cara kita memahami dan menghasilkan pengetahuan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana AI menggeser fokus epistemologi dari pencarian kebenaran universal menuju pengetahuan yang lebih dinamis dan terfokus pada kebutuhan individu, serta implikasi filsafat ilmu dalam mengevaluasi konsep-konsep dasar seperti kebenaran, justifikasi, dan teori pengetahuan. Penelitian ini mengajak pembaca untuk merenungkan peran AI sebagai agen epistemik yang tidak hanya memengaruhi teknologi, tetapi juga pemahaman kita tentang pengetahuan di era modern. Abstract

The aim of this article was to examine sentiment analysis methods from the perspective of the philosophy of science with three approaches, ontological, epistemological and axiological. This research used a qualitative research method (descriptive-analysis) with an ontological, epistemological and axiological approach that uses library research and document studies of previous research results. Data collection was carried out through books and reputable scientific journals on Scopus, ScienceDirect, IEEEXplore and Springer Link. The results of this research showed that sentiment analysis from an ontological perspective describes the definition, development and relationship of sentiment with social reality. Meanwhile, from an epistemological perspective, sentiment analysis is viewed from how the source of knowledge is obtained, explaining the production of sentiment analysis knowledge, and several ways of working that can be applied in studies. Axiologically, sentiment analysis can see the function and value resulting from sentiment analysis, as well as discussing the results of interpretation from sentiment analysis studies. These findings showed the development of sentiment analysis in answering various problems to improve the quality of sustainable services in various fields.

Abstract

This paper evaluates the user experience of a microservices-based e-learning platform created for technopreneurship education using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Microservices present new chances to improve system performance, dependability, and learner involvement when educational systems choose modular and scalable designs. The study presents a benchmarking strategy by contrasting the newly created platform with two extensively utilized commercial platforms, Shopee and Tokopedia, which both use scale microservices. Fifty undergraduates participated in the study and evaluated six fundamental UX dimensions: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulus, and novelty. Quantitative research shows that the e-learning system works well in terms of pragmatic quality (clarity, efficiency, and reliability) and hedonic quality (stimulus and creativity). Comparatively, in perspicuity and efficiency, T-test comparisons reveal statistically significant benefits of the e-learning platform over Tokopedia; similarly, in stimulation and novelty, over Shopee. These findings imply that the microservices-based design improves emotional involvement and perceived innovation in the learning environment and supports functional performance. The study indicates that tools usually used in commercial environments allow one to assess user experience in education effectively. It also emphasizes how the design of learner-centred digital platforms can be guided by benchmarking against industry systems. The results provide helpful information for teachers trying to match educational technologies with user expectations moulded by actual digital experiences and for e-learning developers.

Abstract

The research examined epistemology in Software Effort Estimation (SEE), focusing on the evaluation methods and metrics used. Accurate estimation of effort is essential to the success of a software project. This study also aims to understand the various methods applied in SEE and how evaluation metrics are applied in this context. The proposed method in the study is to review the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) paper to analyze articles published in reputable international journals. The experimental methodology involves the identification, selection, and in-depth analysis of relevant studies, emphasizing the quality and relevance of existing research. The results show that although many methods are available, the proper selection is still challenging for researchers and practitioners alike. In addition, diverse evaluation metrics reflect the need for a more empirical approach to assessing the effectiveness of applied methods. The conclusions of this study provide significant insights for SEE practice and open up opportunities for further research in this area.

Abstract

This study introduces a clustering-driven adaptive User Experience (UX) architecture for e-learning systems, aligning machine learning segmentation with the 21st-century 4C educational framework (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity). The objective is to dynamically personalize digital learning interactions through a microservices architecture responsive to users' UX profiles. A quantitative survey was conducted involving 50 active users of Shopee and Tokopedia, whose interaction feedback was mapped using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Three unsupervised clustering techniques—KMeans, Agglomerative, and DBSCAN—were compared. KMeans outperformed the others with a silhouette score of 0.157, compared to 0.146 for Agglomerative and −0.017 for DBSCAN, identifying three meaningful clusters representing high, medium, and low UX proficiency. A one-way ANOVA test confirmed statistically significant differences (p 0.01) among the clusters in dimensions such as error clarity, support responsiveness, and user confidence. These UX profiles were then mapped to individualized microservices: Cluster 0 received autonomous content with minimal support, Cluster 1 was offered guided prompts, and Cluster 2 was provided with simplified interfaces and proactive assistance. Each cluster was aligned with specific 4C competencies to ensure pedagogical relevance. The proposed architecture, built with gRPC-based microservices, enabled asynchronous, low-latency personalization based on user cluster membership. The novelty of this research lies in its dual alignment—technological (microservices + machine learning) and educational (4C competency mapping)—to construct a scalable and responsive e-learning environment. The system design, although validated through simulation, demonstrates a practical foundation for future deployment in platforms like Moodle or OpenEdX. By linking behavioral UX clustering to pedagogical intervention strategies, this study offers a model for adaptive, data-informed instructional systems that are both scalable and learner-centered.

Abstract

E-learning merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang saat ini banyak dikembangkan di lembaga pendidikan. SMK Negeri 1 Malang merupakan salah satu sekolah yang telah menggunakan e-learning namun sistem e-learning SMK Negeri 1 Malang belum diukur tingkat keberhasilannya. Oleh sebab itu tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kerhasilan sistem e-learning SMK Negeri 1 Malang dengan menggunakan model analisis DeLone dan McLean. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-learning SMK Negeri 1 Malang dinyatakan berhasil.
