Abstract

The use of audio-visual media is considered an activity that can attract students' attention during teaching and learning activities. Audio-visual media is expected to be a medium that helps students understand the material and enjoy learning. These conditions, of course, aim to increase students' learning motivation to improve the quality of learning in the classroom, especially for PAI subjects. So, in the proof, the researcher wants to test the effect of audio-visual media on students' learning motivation in Islamic History Materials for Class V MI Mambaul Ulum Pakis Malang students. The research approach used in this research is quantitative research. Namely, research methods based on the philosophy of positivism are used to examine specific populations or samples. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental research design (Quasi Experiment) which involved one group of research objects. Then test the homogeneity of variance using Levene's equality of error variances test. Audio-visual learning media affects the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at MI Mambaul Ulum Pakis Malang. The paired t-test analysis results showed that the student's learning motivation before and after using audio-visual learning media was different from the t-test result of 4.01 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The effectiveness of increasing the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at MI Mambaul Ulum Pakis Malang before and after using audio-visual learning media can be shown from the increase in the student learning motivation questionnaire results by 35.22% and the observation results of student learning motivation by 44.86%.

Abstract

This systematic literature review investigates the interplay between students' goal orientation, the incorporation of gamification in learning, and their academic performance. Utilizing the Kitchenham SLR methodology, the review encompasses 50 articles from diverse research domains and methodologies. The primary objective is to explore how students' goal orientations are affected by gamification and how these strategies influence their academic outcomes. The selected articles span topics such as achievement goal orientation, student engagement, and the psychological aspects of virtual gamification within educational psychology. The review underscores the potential of gamification to enhance student engagement and motivation, provided that the gamification strategies are carefully crafted to align with students' intrinsic motivations and learning objectives. However, it also cautions against possible adverse effects like increased anxiety or distraction. The paper calls for more research into tailored gamification approaches and their sustained impact on student engagement and performance, offering a compilation of references for further investigation into these themes.

Abstract

This research explores the vital role of ontology in learning forecasting in electrical engineering and informatics. As formally defined models of knowledge, ontologies are critical in organizing concepts for predictive learning. More than just an inquiry, our research reveals complex interconnections centered on Internet of Things (IoT) design, the semantic web, and knowledge modeling. Applications demonstrate the practical significance of ontologies in fostering intelligent connections, advancing information production, and improving interactions between computers, devices, and humans. This research introduces a comprehensive forecasting learning ontology to highlight the importance of ontologies in education, scientific inquiry, and developing systems for predictive analysis. Ontologies provide a structured framework for understanding the essence of predictive learning, encompassing key elements such as ideas, terminology, methodology, algorithms, data preprocessing, assessment, validation, data sources, application environments, interactions with technology, and learning processes. Emphasizing ontologies as indispensable instruments that drive technological development, our work underscores structured representation, semantic interoperability, and knowledge integration. In summary, this research improves the understanding of ontologies in forecasting by explaining practical applications and revealing new perspectives. Its unique contribution lies in its specific applications and natural consequences, laying the foundation for the future progress of ontology and learning forecasting, especially in educational contexts.

Abstract

Abstrak: Teknologi informasi memiliki potensi untuk dimanfaatkan dalam dunia pendidikan sebaagai media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran adalah segala sesuatu yang digunakan untuk membantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa kurang meratanya kemampuan praktik siswa dalam pembelajaran. Siswa juga kurang aktif dalam berdiskusi dan kolaborasi dengan teman sejawat. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan masih berupa buku paket dan modul PDF yang kurang visualisasi. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah model ceramah sehingga siswa cenderung jenuh karena kurang tertarik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran pada materi implementasi UI/UX bermuatan problem-based learning bagi siswa SMK. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Hannafin and Peck dengan tahapan berupa; (1) Need Assesment; (2) Design; (3) Develop/Implement. Penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis website. Produk memuat konten problem-based learning. Produk memuat materi implementasi UI/UX dan ditunjukkan pada siswa yang mempelajari elemen pemrograman gim.

Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran diharapkan menyesuikan perkembangan teknologi yang efektif dan efisien. Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah merancang, mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan. Model pengembangan ADDIE. Pengujian validasi melipatkan validator ahli materi dan ahli media. Media digunakan pada siswa SMK TKJ kelas X. Uji yang digunakan yaitu perseorangan, uji coba skala kecil dan uji coba skala luas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli materi dan ahli media pada pada kriteria sangat valid; uji perseorangan menghasilkan kriteria sangat valid; uji skala kecil menghasilkan kriteria sangat valid; uji skala luas menghasilkan kriteria sangat valid. Dari hasil tersebut pengembangan media valid dan dapat digunakan siswa

Abstract

Pendidikan di MTs Tarbiyatut Tholabah berorientasi pada human capital yang menekankan pentingnya pemanfaatan dan pengelolaan sarana prasarana dan religiusitas sebagai bentuk perilaku guru yang mendukung kinerja mengajar guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi sarana prasarana dengan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Ada hubungan yang signifikan sarana prasarana dengan kinerja mengajar guru. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai r hitung sebesar 0,964, angka ini menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat dan positif; 2) Ada hubungan yang signifikan religiusitas guru dengan kinerja mengajar guru, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai r hitung sebesar 0,119, angka ini menunjukkan ada hubungan yang sangat kuat dan positif; 3) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sarana prasarana dan religiusitas guru dengan kinerja mengajar guru, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai r hitung sebesar 0,965, angka ini menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat dan positif.

Abstract

Abstract:  There are several problems in the learning process of Basic Electricity and Electronics at SMK Negeri 8 Malang, including: (1) When learning takes place students do not pay attention and listen to the teacher when delivering material, (2) The teacher does not focus on learning activities to students, (3) Students are less active in asking and expressing his opinion about the material that has been taught. This study uses a variety of learning models and methods that can improve students' learning activeness and conceptual understanding, namely the Auditory, Intellectual, Repetition (AIR) learning model and the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model, each of which is combined with cognitive conflict strategies. The research design used a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design type. The data analysis technique consisted of normality test, homogeneity test, two mean similarity test, and hypothesis testing. The conclusion of this study is that the AIR learning model combined with cognitive conflict strategies is superior to the TAI learning model combined with cognitive conflict strategies

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought about changes in the field of education, one of which is the emergence of web-based learning. Based on preliminary observation data collected through questionnaires, students still expressed uncertainty about their understanding of software engineering (SE) materials. The current learning media for SE include PowerPoint (PPT), e-modules, and instructional videos, which students find less engaging and challenging to comprehend. Additionally, students face distractions like games and social media, leading to difficulty maintaining focus while studying. The objectives of this research are (1) to analyze user and system needs and (2) to design web-based responsive learning media for the software engineering course, equipped with a Pomodoro feature. The research method used is research and development (R and D) with the 4D Thiagarajan development model, consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, only the definition and design stages were carried out due to research limitations. The presentation of data analysis results involves (1) needs analysis, which includes frontend analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and specifying instructional objectives; (2) system design, which includes context diagrams and data flow diagrams; (3) database design, which includes Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and database file structure; (4) initial design in the form of a prototype; (5) technology design for development and implementation; and (6) instructional media testing design

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi memfasilitasi kegiatan pembelajaran secara maksimal juga mendorong terciptanya keterbaruan, mengarahkan pada kegiatan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik. Kendati pendidikan yang menjadi indikator penting dalam eksistensi negara, kondisi pendidikan di Indonesia tidak terlihat baik berdasarkan hasil survei pemeringkatan PISA 2018 yang menilai literasi sains dimana Indonesia menempati urutan 6 dari bawah. Proses pembelajaran yang baik berkaitan dengan penggunaan media dan metode yang menarik bagi peserta didik, sehingga dapat memberikan motivasi dari dalam diri peserta didik untuk mempelajari pengetahuan lebih dalam. Melakukan digitalisasi pada media pembelajaran melalui platform mobile dapat dijadikan alternatif media yang dapat menarik peserta didik mengingat tingginya penggunaan smartphone di Indonesia. Metodologi pembelajaran tradisional sudah tidak membuat peserta didik tertarik; sebaliknya, video gim edukasi dapat memberikan dorongan untuk belajar dengan cara baru sembari menikmati tugas yang membosankan. Fisika merupakan ilmu sains fundamental namun tidak disukai oleh peserta didik, sehingga penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif seperti gim sangat diperlukan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Salah satu materi fisika yakni gerak lurus merupakan salah satu materi yang sukar dipahami sehingga memerlukan perhatian lebih. Berdasarkan masalah diatas maka dilakukan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D. Penelitian menghasilkan adventure game materi Gerak Lurus yang terintegrasi model Problem Based Learning. Berdasarkan uji validasi dihasilkan data uji; (1) validasi oleh ahli materi pertama menghasilkan persentase 89% sedangkan ahli materi kedua 87.75% yang menunjukkan media masuk kategori sangat valid, (2) validasi oleh ahli media didapatkan hasil sangat valid dengan persentase 93.71%, dan (3) uji coba produk pada 30 siswa SMA kelas 11 menghasilkan persentase 87.23% menunjukkan produk sangat valid. Berdasarkan komentar dan saran dari ahli materi dan media maka dilakukan beberapa revisi produk untuk memaksimalkan hasil akhir.

Abstract

Teaching factory is a learning concept that adapts the learning conditions in school to those in the industry. But the problem in vocational education today is the lack of absorbed practicum learning caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the focus of this research is the teaching factory learning program at Telkom Malang Vocational High School (TMVHS) during the pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The location of this research is in TMVHS. The results from the study showed that the preparation carried out by TMVHS was done by finding an industry that was following the competence of students' expertise as partners. The implementation of the teaching factory at TMVHS is the teacher becomes the primary instructor in helping students because learning is completely done online. In addition, there are inhibitory factors during the teaching factory learning process, especially in the pandemic season, namely reduced interaction between students and industry. But these inhibitory factors can be overcome by students who have the enthusiasm and high learning motivation.
