Abstract

Universities are increasingly adapting to changes brought by technological advancements and globalization. Bhayangkara University Jakarta Raya is no different, having implemented an efficient Tuition Payment Information System. This article details the design and development of the system using the waterfall method. The main objective of this system is to make it easier for administrative staff and students to process tuition payments. The research method used a needs analysis approach, consisting of observation and interviews. The waterfall approach was utilized for system implementation. The process involved requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing and operation. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) served as an object-based system design visualization tool. The tuition payment information system provides login access with divided access rights for students, the Academic Administration Bureau, and the Financial Administration Bureau. The system includes features such as student data management, tuition payment verification, and report preparation. The results of implementation show positive changes in the efficiency and convenience of the tuition payment process for students and administrative staff. This article highlights the role of information systems in improving the efficiency of financial administration and services at Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. By allowing students to monitor payments online, the system provides significant support for tuition payment management. Hopefully, this system will contribute positively to improving the quality of educational services at this university, creating efficiency in financial administration, and providing a basis for further development of the information system.   Perguruan tinggi semakin beradaptasi terhadap perubahan yang dibawa oleh kemajuan teknologi dan globalisasi. Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya juga menerapkan Sistem Informasi Pembayaran Uang Kuliah yang efisien. Artikel ini merinci perancangan dan pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode waterfall. Tujuan utama dari sistem ini adalah untuk memudahkan staf administrasi dan mahasiswa dalam memproses pembayaran uang sekolah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan analisis kebutuhan yang terdiri dari observasi dan wawancara. Pendekatan waterfall digunakan untuk implementasi sistem. Prosesnya melibatkan analisis persyaratan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian dan operasi. Unified Modeling Language (UML) berfungsi sebagai alat visualisasi desain sistem berbasis objek. Sistem informasi pembayaran SPP menyediakan akses aktor login dengan hak akses terbagi untuk mahasiswa, Biro Administrasi Akademik, dan Biro Administrasi Keuangan. Sistem ini mencakup fitur-fitur seperti pengelolaan data siswa, verifikasi pembayaran SPP, dan penyusunan laporan. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan perubahan positif pada efisiensi dan kenyamanan proses pembayaran SPP bagi mahasiswa dan tenaga administrasi. Artikel ini menyoroti peran sistem informasi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan pelayanan keuangan di Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. Dengan memungkinkan siswa memantau pembayaran secara online, sistem ini memberikan dukungan yang signifikan untuk manajemen pembayaran uang sekolah. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan di universitas ini, menciptakan efisiensi dalam administrasi keuangan, dan memberikan landasan bagi pengembangan sistem informasi lebih lanjut

Abstract

This research aims to describe and evaluate the accompaniment in the implementation of donations to orphans during the 10th Muharram commemoration in Kelurahan Kumai Hilir, which is an annual tradition with significant social and religious values. The main focus of this study is the effectiveness of the implementation, where there are shortcomings in planning, committee coordination, and the distribution of donations, which are often uneven and not well-targeted. To understand these dynamics, this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation methods, involving various parties such as the organizing committee, community leaders, and orphans as beneficiaries. The data obtained shows that the accompaniment provided during the donation process successfully improved various important aspects, including active participation of the local community in the event, improvements in the coordination system among the previously unstructured committee, and ensuring that donation distribution became more targeted and fair. In addition to material benefits, the orphans who received donations felt better emotional support, with more attention from the community that was more directly involved in the donation process. This activity also played a role in strengthening social solidarity among residents, making the 10th Muharram commemoration not only a moment for giving donations but also an opportunity to build stronger social ties between the community and the beneficiaries. With this accompaniment, it is hoped that the donation tradition in Kelurahan Kumai Hilir can continue to develop in a more organized manner and have a more significant impact on the well-being of orphans as well as the social life of the community as a whole.

Abstract

Liquid contains many pollutants that can pollute the soil, groundwater and surface water. Talang Banjar Market is close to residential areas. The generation of waste and liquid waste from the market can pollute the environment and public health. Community service methods 1) conducting counseling. 2) providing materials. 3) practicing making artificial wetlands. 4) Participants are residents of RT03, Talang Banjar Village, Jambi City. The purpose of community service is to provide counseling and practice in handling liquid using an wetland system. The results increase knowledge and skills in handling liquid in RT03, Talang Banjar Village, Jambi City. The enthusiasm of residents is quite high in participating in counseling and practicing waste handling with wetlands system. The concern of residents around the traditional market area for the environment is a potential that must be developed.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the field of education.  The need for effective and efficient learning media is increasingly urgent along with demands to improve the quality of education that is relevant to current developments. However, there are still several obstacles such as the lack of active role of students in the learning process and the limited learning media used. Learning resources in presenting material still use PowerPoint slides which are not yet interactive, resulting in a lack of student interest in learning. Therefore, this research aims to develop learning media, to support a more effective and interactive teaching and learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which is a teaching design system that is centered on individual learning, has immediate and long-term phases, is systematic, and uses a systems approach to knowledge. and human learning. The result of this research is a mobile-based learning media application with the hope that it can help increase students' understanding and interest in learning in NWDI courses, especially at the Faculty of Engineering, Hamzanwadi University.

Abstract

Pembentukan Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2022 tentang Ibu Kota Negara (UU IKN) memunculkan perhatian terhadap minimnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses legislasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pembentukan UU IKN berdasarkan prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2011 tentang Pembentukan Peraturan Perundang-Undangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode hukum normatif dengan pendekatan undang-undang, konsep, dan kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembentukan UU IKN bersifat semu dan tidak memenuhi prinsip partisipasi yang bermakna. Masalah ini timbul akibat proses legislasi yang berlangsung cepat, minimnya keterlibatan kelompok masyarakat terdampak, serta rendahnya transparansi informasi. Akibatnya, legitimasi undang-undang ini menjadi dipertanyakan. Penulis merekomendasikan peningkatan mekanisme partisipasi publik melalui transparansi informasi, penguatan akses masyarakat terhadap dokumen publik, dan penyelenggaraan forum diskusi yang lebih inklusif. Dengan pendekatan yang lebih demokratis, pembentukan undang-undang diharapkan mampu mencerminkan aspirasi masyarakat secara lebih komprehensif dan menjamin keberlanjutan implementasinya.

Abstract

In recent years, electric vehicles (EVs) have experienced rapid growth, with increasing demand for more efficient and safer battery technologies. Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries have become the primary choice due to their high energy density and long cycle life. However, one major challenge faced is effective thermal management. Poorly managed temperatures can lead to battery performance degradation, shorten battery life, and even pose a fire risk (Wang et al., 2020). Therefore, this study focuses on optimizing the thermal management system for Li-ion battery packs using phase change materials (PCMs) and advanced heat exchangers.

Abstract

The intelligence of an elementary school teacher in delivering material needs to be supported by the family environment and the role of the student's parents. From here we know that improving and developing the quality of knowledge about Mathematics is important. Purwakarta State Elementary School students in Cilegon City find it easier to remember and understand Mathematics lessons if they enjoy doing it and are accompanied by real experiences in everyday life. The role of higher education through the Tridharma of Higher Education is to carry out education, research and community service. One form of this obligation and concern is that as a Permanent Lecturer or academic at Serang Raya University, I intend to carry out community service to the students of Purwakarta State Elementary School, Cilegon City through Arithmetic training. This community service aims to provide learning services that are tailored to the learning difficulties of students at the Purwakarta State Primary School, Cilegon City. This Community Service Activity (PKM) is carried out in the classrooms of each class. As a result of the tutoring activities carried out by tutors for students, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in student learning outcomes

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki perilaku kewargaan organisasi (OCB) yang ditampilkan oleh karyawan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 75 pegawai Pemerintah Kota Jambi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dan data dianalisis melalui analisis verifikatif, dengan analisis regresi sebagai alat analisis. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa OCB dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, semangat kerja karyawan, dan motivasi kerja, sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi. Di antara faktor- faktor tersebut, kepuasan kerja karyawan muncul sebagai faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam menentukan OCB.

Abstract

This research delves into customer satisfaction within the realm of outdoor educational and training services. Through an examination of various factors contributing to client contentment in such settings, this study aims to uncover the dynamics influencing satisfaction levels. By employing qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the research evaluates aspects such as program effectiveness, instructor competence, facility quality, and overall experience satisfaction. The findings offer insights into the significance of meeting customer expectations in outdoor education and training services and provide practical implications for enhancing client contentment in these settings.

Abstract

An integrated physical education policy was a strategic approach in shaping a healthy lifestyle from an early age. This study aimed to determine the effect of the integrated physical education policy implementation on the healthy lifestyle of elementary school students. The method used was descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The sample consisted of 120 students from four elementary schools that had implemented the policy in X city. The results showed a significant positive correlation between the implementation of the integrated physical education policy and the improvement of students' healthy living behaviors, which included regular physical activity, a balanced diet, and awareness of personal hygiene and health. This policy proved effective in instilling healthy living values through structured physical activities and supporting the strengthening of character education
