Abstract

The condition of sexual disorientation behavior is a condition that develops from various and interrelated factors. This behavior is not the result of a single major factor, its formation occurs throughout the individual life span instead. The sexual behavior disorientation is a phenomenon that is always happening almost in all communities in various countries, which in the modern world popular with the term LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer). Another condition related to this community is that in recent years human rights related to this matter have been straightforwardly defended in some countries. This condition brings many problems and polemics in various dimensions of life. This study focuses on the trend of student attitudes toward LGBTQ phenomena that in the society. Data were collected through a student's attitude scale on the LGBTQ phenomenon adapted from "Worthen's (2012) Attitudes toward LGBT People Survey" and involving 213 respondents. Students in West Sumatera generally have an unfavorable attitude towards the LGBTQ phenomenon. But in one aspect, students have a moderate attitude towards the transgender phenomenon. This has become an important concern for counselors as social workers who deal directly with this issue. Counseling and psychotherapist services are one of the important points in problem solving. Related conditions that need attention are the paradigm and attitude of the students themselves against the LGBTQ phenomenon.

Abstract

To improve the educational  quality is an importan  attemp that should be done by all Indonesian and government. The bundles of educational  problems have to be solved and distributed not only to the municipal  government but also to the prefectural  government and  the  stakeholders  of education.  The  distribution  of task  and  responbility  on  the improvement of educational  quality cannot be done automatically  without stakeholders’ comprehension  and understanding  of the importance  of educational  improvement. But, teachers  and  school  principal  at least  can  do much when the stakeholdersgive  much attention and prosperity to make them better life and more professional. In addition, the concept of school based management should be implemented soon to support the decentralization of educational  management.  It hopefully could  make more  effective beurocracy.   However,  it  has  to  be  implement  wisely and  carefully  to  avoid  wider corruption,  collusion, and nepotism at the local and root level

Abstract

Adversity quotient affects the ability in learning and also student learning achievement, in addition, the adversity quotient affects how a person overcomes the ability to problems. Because of this problem, it takes a high adversity quotient to be able to survive in all conditions. The purpose of this study was to describe the adversity quotient of MAN 1 Padang students and test the difference in the adversity quotient of male and female students. This study uses a comparative quantitative approach. The sample in the study was 130 students, of which 55 were male and 65 were female students. With sampling techniques that are simple random sampling. The measurement used is "Scale Adversity Quotient Profile Modification" with reliable of 0.85. The results explained that the quotient of MAN 1 Padang students is in the campers category. It was later discovered that female students were taller than men. Thus it can be concluded that the culture attached to students greatly affects a person's adversity quotient. The adversity quotient of female students is higher than the male field because students adhere to a matrilineal culture.
