Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was to know the basic and the supportelements which could be found in Raddat Anak Duyong dance. The result of this research was the description of the main element and support element of Raddat Anak Duyong dance. There are four kind of movements, which is divided as the first movement, the center movement (substance) and the closing movement. The floor design that used has vertical, horizontal, square and V line pattern.The low design, asyimmetric, angular, flat, pure, deep, symmetrical, and static was the top design used. Raddat Anak Duyong dance told about the people in the old period which is not believe in God.The dramatic design shape was doubled cone with the dynamic which exist in this dance have not any variation, the dancer movement adjusting to the music tempo and group composition used cohesive design and by turns. The music used Tar as music instrument and Syair Dialek Melayu Sambas song. The make up and the custom used was malay teluk belangak custom, baju kurung with Sambas original material  and natural make up. The show place used can be at proscenium and arena stage. The result of this research can be used to be a teaching material in art and culture on 8th grader.Keywords : Form of presentation, Raddat Anak Duyong Traditional Dance, Melayu Sambas.

Abstract

AbstrakThis study aims to determine the meaning of the dance property required to disclose when using hand-property and set property. Hand-property comprises Handkerchief and Salapa which means as intermediaries for prayers to Jubata, and Set property used in the form of offerings has a unifying meaning of prayer delivered to Jubata to grant. This research is a descriptive study on Bakoncong dance in Sanatap Village, Sajingan Besar District, Sambas Regency.  We carried this qualitative research out using a semiotic approach relating to the system of signs and symbols in human life. The data retrieved in this study results from interviews with informants Konen Felsia, Hendrikus Alek Kenek, and Domianus Jidat. Data collection techniques used were the observation, interviews, and documentation, while the data collection tools used were researchers as the main instruments, observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation tools. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketidak sukaan siswa terhadap musik tradisional Jonggan yang ada dilingkungan sekitar mereka. Alasannya karena music Jonggan kuno, membisankan, dan hanya cocok untuk kaum tua.. Musik pada suku  Dayak Kanayatn merupakan bagian penting dari upacara Balenggang (perdukunan), Gawe Padi (naik dango), dan penyambutan tamu agung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam usaha untuk melestarikan musik tradisional Jonggan masyarakat Dayak Kanayatn yang ada di Kabupaten Pontianak. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Konsep penelitian yang dilakukan dengan mengembangkan model pembelajaran kontekstual yang disesuaikan untuk materi praktik alat musik Jonggan hingga presentasi penelitian ini melewati tahapan proses sebanyak 2 siklus. Pada siklus I, dan II memiliki pengembangan pembelajaran kontekstual yang berbeda. Hasil observasi awal minat siswa sebesar 9,37% sedangkan setelah dilakukan kedua siklus, minat siswa pada pertemuan hasil sebesar 90,00%. Jadi minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran musik tradisional Jonggan setelah menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual meningkat 80,96%. Peningkatan apresiasi ini ditujukan dengan hasil oleh data yang menggambarkan adanya peningkatan apresiasi siswa terhadap music tradisional Jonggan. Kata kunci: Apresiasi, musik Jonggan, Pembelajaran Kontekstual.   Abstract: This study was motivated by dislike of students towards traditional music Jonggan existing environment around them. The reason is because traditional music Jonggan old, boring, and only suitable for the elderly alone. Music on Kanayatn Dayak is an important part of the ceremony Balenggang (shamanism), Rice Make (up dango), and welcome the visiting dignitary. This research was conducted in an effort to preserve traditional music Jonggan Kanayatn Dayak community in the district of Pontianak. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by using descriptive research methods and qualitative approaches. The concept of research done by developing a model of contextual learning material adapted to a musical instrument practice Jonggan until this past research presentation stage of the process as much as 2 cycles. In cycle I, and II have different contextual learning development. The results of preliminary observations students' appreciation of 9.37%, while after the second cycle, the appreciation of students in meeting the results of 90.00%. So the appreciation of students towards learning traditional music Jonggan after using contextual learning approach increased 80.96%. Increased appreciation is demonstrated by the results of the data reflects the improvement in students' appreciation of the traditional music         Jonggan. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model tutor sebaya terhadap hasil pembelajaran rekorder sopran pada materi lagu etnik nusantara antara siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIB di SMPN 2 Sungai Raya Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode Penelitian  yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk kuasi eksperimen dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 58 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor posttest hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen sebesar 78.62%. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol sebesar 69.83%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model tutor sebaya memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil pembelajaran rekorder sopran pada materi lagu etnik nusantara. Kata kunci : Tutor Sebaya, Rekorder Sopran. GAbstract: This study aimed to analyze the influence of the model on the learning outcomes of peer tutoring on the soprano recorder song material ethnic archipelago between VIIIA and VIIIB grade students at SMP 2 Sungai Raya province of West Kalimantan. The research method used is a form of quasi-experimental experiment with and use a quantitative approach. The population in this study is 58 students. The results showed an average score of posttest learning outcomes for students in the experimental class 78.62%. While the average student learning outcomes control class is 69.83%. It can be concluded that the use of peer tutoring models have an influence on the improvement of learning outcomes in the soprano recorder song material ethnic archipelago Keywords: Peer Tutor, soprano recorder.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya minat masyarakat terhadap kesenian tradisi yang merupakan warisan dari nenek moyang. Satu di antara tari tradisi yang hampir punah dan mulai ditinggalkan oleh masyarakat adalah tari Jonggan yang berada di Kecamatan Sengah Temilak Kabupaten Landak Kalimantan Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Pendeskripsian fungsi tari Jonggan masyarakat suku Dayak Kanayatn Kabupaten Landak. 2) Pendeskripsian bentuk pertunjukkan tari Jonggan pada kehidupan suku Dayak Kanayatn Kecamatan Sengah Temilak Kabupaten Landak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode etnografi dan menggunakan pendekatan etnokoreologi. Data yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini merupakan fakta mengenai fungsi, dan bentuk pertunjukan tari Jonggan di Kecamatan Sengah Temilak Kabupaten Landak Kalimantan Barat. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif, dengan narasumber data Adiran, Miden, Ki’an, Madarem, dan beberapa seniman lain yang berperan aktif serta mengetahui tentang sejarah dan fungsi tari Jonggan. Data tersebut adalah hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kata kunci: fungsi, Jonggan Abstract: The background of this study causes lack of interest towards the arts community traditionsinherited from their ancestors. One of dance tradition from endangered and abandoned by society is Jonggan dance in the Porcupine District Sub Sengah Temilak West Kalimantan. The purpose of this study were: 1) the explanation of Jonggan dance function for Dayak Kanayatn tribe in Sengah Temilak District Landak Regency. 2) the explanation the form of Jonggan dance show on the life of the Dayak Kanayatn tribe Sengah Temilak District Landak Regency. The method used in this research is an ethnographicmethod and approach ethno-choreology. The data in this study is the fact about the functionand from of Jonggan dance performances in Sengah Temilak District Landak Regency of West Kalimantan. Data were analyzed qualitatively, with data sources Adiran, Miden, Ki’an, Madarem, and several other artists the history and  function of Jonggan dance. Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the desire of researchers to describe the structure of the Selodang Mayang dance movement. This research uses a descriptive method in a qualitative form and uses an ethnochoreological approach, with data sources in the form of Selodang Mayang Dance. The speakers in this study were Syarifah Zainab Asgaf, Syarifah Fadlon Alkadrie and Syarifah Faizah Alkadrie who knew about Selodang Mayang dance at the Kadriyah Sultanate Palace in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and audio-visual material. The data validity testing technique used is the extension of observation and source triangulation. Based on the analysis of the data it was concluded that the structure of the Selodang Mayang dance movement in the Kadriyah Sultanate Palace in Pontianak, West Kalimantan as follows: The name Selodang Mayang dance was taken from the property names namely shawl and mayang. Selodang Mayang dance is a group dance. There are 3 types of motion that are described based on the smallest part first, namely the motive motions, motion phrases, sentences of motion and groups of motion that become a unified whole of motion in the Selodang Mayang dance. The motion in Selodang Mayang dance is identical with double step or double foot or usually called jogog dance.Keywords: Dance, Motion structure, Selodang Mayang

Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran seni tari serta hasil pembelajaran siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD dikelas VIII B SMPN 6 Pontianak. Penelitian ini adalah peneltian tindakan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analisis dan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap prasiklus, siklus 1 dan siklus 2 serta tahap presentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII B yang berjumlah 34 orang siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa dari proses kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dilaksanakan. Hasil observasi awal hanya 9 orang siswa yang terlihat cukup percaya diri, setelah dilakukan proses pembelajaran yang terdiri dari siklus I, siklus II dan tahap presentasi kepercayaan diri siswa meningkat dari 34 siswa, 30 diantaranya sudah terlihat percaya diri. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah kepercayaan diri siswa terhadap pembelajaran seni tari dapat meningkat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe STAD.   Kata Kunci : STAD, kepercayaan diri, pembelajaran seni tari   Abstract: The study aims to determine how the process of learning the art of dance as well as the results of student learning using STAD learning model B class VIII SMPN 6 Pontianak. This study is action research using descriptive research method of analysis and a qualitative approach. This research was conducted with several stages: stage pre cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 and stage presentation. The subjects were students of class VIII B totaling 34 students. Results from this study showed an increased confidence of students of the learning activities that have been implemented. Results of preliminary observations only 9 student who looks pretty confident, after learning that consists of the first cycle, the second cycle and the stage presentation of the students' self confidence increased from 34 students, 30 of them already looked confident. The conclusions of this study is the students' confidence in learning the art of dance can be increased using learning model STAD   Keywords : STAD, confidence, dance lessons

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kreativitas siswa kelas VIII SMPN 23 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, yakni dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group desain. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil kreativitas siswa yang diperoleh saat pretest untuk kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 35, sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa kelas kontrol yaitu 33,93. Hasil kreativitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan setelah diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada siswa kelas eksperimen, yakni nilai rata-rata siswa saat posttest mencapai 70,89. Adapun hasil kreativitas siswa kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan, tetapi tidak signifikan seperti halnya kelas eksperimen, yakni dengan diperolehnya nilai rata-rata saat posttest sebesar 58,93. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran seni tari kelas VIII SMPN 23 Pontianak. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Kreativitas Siswa, Pembelajaran Seni Tari   Abstract: This research has purpose to know the influence of Project Based Learning to the students’ creativity. The subject of research are eight grade students of SMPN 23 Pontianak. The reaseach method is experimental study wich use pretest-posttest control group design. There were VIII A students as the control group and VIII B as the experiment group. At pretest, the average score of students’ creativity of experiment group was 35, meanwhile control group get 33,93. After the researcher gave the treatment to the experiment group by using Project Based Learning, the score improve significantly, that is 70,89. On the other hand, control group also got improvement, but not significantly enough, with the posttest score is 53,93. Based on the data analyse, it can be concluded that Project Based Learning has the significant influence to the students’ creativity of SMPN 23 Pontianak. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini (1) Pendeskripsian proses peningkatan minat belajar rekorder sopran dengan metode paikem pembelajaran seni musik di SMP.Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Serta sifat penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini melewati tahapan dua siklus. Siklus I tentang pembelajaran materi rekorder sopran, dan siklus II materi pembelajaran praktek meminkan rekorder. Setelah siklus dilaksanakan siswa tampak antusias dan bersemangat saat mengikuti pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode diskriptif.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan peningkatan minat belajar siswa dalam berlatih rekorder dari prasiklus, siklus 1 dan siklus II hingga pertemuan hasil. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penjarian dengan menggunakan rekorder sopran sebagai media yang cocok untuk diterapkan pada siswa dapat meningkatkan minat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran seni budaya.   Kata Kunci: Minat belajar, rekorder sopran, PAIKEM.   Abstract: Problems in this study is how the process and results of increasing interest in learning soprano recorder with PAIKEM method in learning the art of music A seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Downstream? This study used a descriptive method with the type of research PTK (Classroom Action Research). As well as the nature of qualitative research. This study passes through two stages of the cycle. The first cycle of learning materials soprano recorder, and a second cycle of learning materials meminkan practice recorder. After the cycle executed students were enthusiastic and excited when the following study. The method used in this research is the method diskriptif.Hasil this study showed an increase in student interest in practicing recorder of prasiklus, cycle 1 and cycle II to the meeting results. From these results it can be concluded that the soprano recorder fingering by using a suitable medium for students can be applied to increase the interest in learning activities of cultural arts. Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the lack of writing or documenting traditional dance in the Sambas district which almost suffered extinction. One of them is the traditional dance that has almost suffered extinction, is The Structure of We are Indonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance in Bekut Village, Tebas District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. The objectives of this research are as follows 1). Descriptions of the structure of the presentation of  The Structure of We are Indonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance in Bekut Village, Tebas District, Sambas Regency. 2). Descriptions of supporting elements on The Structure of We are Indonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance in Bekut Village, Tebas District, Sambas Regency. The method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative form. The approach used is the Ethochoreology approach. Data sources are divided into two, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of interview techniques, observation techniques, and documentation techniques. Techniques for collecting data from researchers as instruments. The technique of testing the validity of the data is the technique of extension of observation and triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used is, analyzing and interpreting the history of development, the structure of the presentation of motion, the design of the implementation of the school regarding the history of We are Indonesian Youth Islamic Radat Dance. Keywords: Dance Moves, Exploration, Role Playing Method
