Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical data on the effect of Ten Frame Media usedto understand Part-part-whole in 6-7 Years old at in Munjul Village, Cipayung Subdistrict, East Jakarta. The method used is kuantitatif research with experiment approach and the research design is True Experimental with Two Group Pre-test and Post-test Design (technique of pre-test and post-test with two groups randomized). The population in this study were all students aged 6-7 years which is a group of early childhood in the Munjul Village. The sample in this study is children aged 6- 7 years in early childhood education for School Readiness Group (KeMaS) with a sample of 15 children in the experimental group and 15 children in the control group, which was taken by using simple random cluster technique. Data collection tools of Variable Y (Part-part-whole Understanding) is done using techniques of observation checklist. The analysis technique used is the t-test for small samples are not correlated. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using t-test is obtained price thitung1 = 22, 5 (comparative test of pre-post test Experimental Group), thitung2 = 8, 90 (Comparative test of pre-post test control group), and thitung3 = 30, 79 (Comparative test of post-post-test Experiment- Control Group), a price table = 1, 70, and dk = 28 at the significant level α = 0.05. From these results it can be concluded that thitung> ttable, so this study reject H0 (Zero Hypothetical) and receiving Ha (Alternative Hypothesis). This study therefore implies that the use of 10 frames media significant effect on the understanding part-part-whole in children aged 6-7 years. The more often a child at the age of 6-7 years using the media frame 10, then the better the understanding of the part-part-whole.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce a media that can be used to introduce and stimulate the character of caring for the environment in children, especially at the age of 5-6 years. It is hoped that by using this multimedia, children's awareness and sensitivity about the environment can develop. This research uses an innovative work method with the ADDIE development model. There are two stages of analysis, namely the expert review stage and the trial stage. The subjects of this study were material experts and media experts as validators, five children aged 5-6 years, one kindergarten teacher and two parents. The object of this research is a digital learning multimedia called ACIL (Aku Cinta Lingkungan). Based on the validity test of material experts, ACIL multimedia got a percentage of 97.9% with very feasible criteria. Based on the validity test of media experts, ACIL multimedia gets a percentage of 90.4% with very decent criteria. Based on the results of trials on children, ACIL multimedia got a percentage of 80% with very feasible criteria and based on the results of trials on teachers and parents, ACIL multimedia got a percentage of 90.4% with very feasible criteria. Based on the research results, the learning multimedia "ACIL (Aku Cinta Lingkungan)" is very feasible to be used as a learning medium for children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Research aims to obtain empirical data about parents' perception of 3-to-4-year- old self-feeding children in Tebet Subdistrict, South Jakarta. The sample of this research was parents who have a 3-to-4-year-old child in Tebet Subdistrict, South Jakarta. Cluster random sampling was implemented. The method used in this research was quantitative by surveying. The data analytics technique used was descriptive statistics. The overall result of this research shows that parents' perception of 3-to-4-year-old self-feeding children in Tebet Subdistrict, South Jakarta categorized as good enough. By calculating data obtained from 45 parents shows that 44% of the parents were categorized as good enough. Then, 40% of the parents were categorized as deficient, and 16% remain was categorized as good. The results of this research depicted that parents were quite good in explaining the meaning of self-feeding children aged 3 to 4 years, quite good in understanding the importance of self-feeding children aged 3 to 4 years, quite good in understanding the meaning of self-feeding children aged 3 to 4 years, quite good in interpreting the aspects of self-feeding children aged 3 to 4 years, and quite good in behaving towards self-feeding children aged 3 to 4 years. The results of this research are expected to be used to help parents reaching self- feeding children aged 3 to 4 years so the self-feeding in children could be developed properly.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and describe the independence of children aged 5-6 years who live with single parents in the presence of father only. This research uses qualitative research methods with the type of case study research. This research was conducted at the residence of a single parent family located in Cipinang Besar Selatan RT002 / RW05 No.39, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. Data collected by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis uses Campbell's pattern matching model which includes general of statement, sorting the statement and development of the concept map. The results showed that the independence contained in the research subjects were : 1) the ability to help himself in daily life, 2) initiative in doing various things or activities, 3) responsible for what was done and 4) the ability to adapt the environment. This independence is inseparable from the opportunities given by parents to children so that children can do their own activities. The results of this study indicate that children's independence can be built and developed by single parents by providing opportunities to children such as, teaching independence directly to children, habituation, and give advice and direction their daily activities and choosing not to use ART services in caring for children.

Abstract

Self concept formed by what the child perceived to theirself. Every child formed the self concept by theirself to socialized their life. Good self concept will make the child feel proud of theirself and capable to accepted theirself as well. This study aimed 1) to described the self concept of the child age 7-8 years who suffered verbal abuse 2) to knew the form of verbal abuse had done by parents, 3) to explained the impact of verbal abuse. The method used in this study was Case Study with matching pattern of Campbell as data analysist. Data collection in this study used technique observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study showed that the child have good self concept eventhough they got verbal abuse by their parents, the form of verbal abuse had done by parents who giving bad name-calling, threatening, gave the child indirect critism to hurt the child and the impacts of verbal abuse was the child speak with bad words, the child was easily to cry and the child who had done verbal abuse also had done physical abuse.

Abstract

This qualitative research is to find out and describe The Speaking Ability of 3-4 years old in Multiethnic Family, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. The subject of this research is a child of 3-4 years old who is in a multiethnic family environment. Collecting data by observation, interview, and documentation. In this research using case study method, with Creswell analysis data techniques. The method consists of description and theme findings, interrelating theme, and interpreting the meaning of theme. The research findings that the ability to speak in children aged 3-4 years is seen in (1) the process of acquiring new vocabulary that occurs due to the interaction carried out by children with family and friends in their home environment, (2) the ability of children to use a variety of languages such us language English, Spanish, and Indonesian when speaking, (3) Disclosures sentences spoken by children already look right for obvious reasons, and (4) Factors for the formation of children's speaking abilities, where children are given freedom and proper direction in adapting to the environment her home.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana banjir pada anak usia dini, karena pemahaman kesiapsiagaan bencana bagi anak usia dini di Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Kurangnya pemberian pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan bencana khususnya bencana banjir pada anak disebabkan oleh praktik pembelajaran yang kurang efektif, karena guru belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang beragam. Maka penelitian ini merancang produk aplikasi game edukasi berbasis komputer yaitu media pembelajaran yang menampilkan simulasi kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendesain media pembelajaran untuk pemahaman kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan desain model ADDIE (Analize, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate). Teknik pengumpulan data berupa validasi ahli (Ahli PAUD, Media, Bahasa, dan Kesiapsiagaan Bencana) data uji coba lapangan. Penelitian dilakukan di TK Kelompok B wilayah Kabupaten Lebak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan edukasi SIGANA Banjir layak digunakan untuk memberikan pemahaman kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir pada anak. Materi pemahaman kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir pada game ini mencakup : pemahaman bahaya dan sistem peringatan dini; pemahaman mengambil tindakan untuk melindungi diri; pemahaman mengurangi dampak bencana.

Abstract

Literasi budaya maritim pada anak usia dini mencakup pemahaman, pengenalan, dan pengaplikasian aspek-aspek budaya maritim Indonesia dalam proses belajar dan pengajaran.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media buku cerita bergambar digital guna meningkatkan literasi budaya maritim di Indonesia. Dalam konteks kurangnya media pembelajaran yang mengenalkan identitas anak Indonesia sebagai budaya maritim, peneliti berkeinginan untuk membantu guru dalam menyiapkan media yang relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan prosedur ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pendekatan mixed methods kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Uji kelayakan media dilakukan melalui validasi ahli pakar dan guru. Uji kuantitatif menggunakan uji satu arah dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05 pada kelompok besar praeksperimental "one group pretest-posttest". Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa media buku cerita bergambar digital ini layak digunakan dan efektif untuk anak usia dini. Berdasarkan angket literasi budaya maritim, hipotesis menyatakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada hasil pretest dan posttest setelah penggunaan media tersebut. Dengan demikian, media buku cerita bergambar digital ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana baku yang layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi budaya maritim pada anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, komunikasi, dan teknologi yang semakin pesat berpengaruh terhadap pembelajaran dalam dunia pendidikan, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat satiap anak untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kemandirian setiap amak. Tujuan penelitian ini mempersiapkan anak dapat belajar dalam segala situasi sehingga perlu dilatih sejak dini motivasi dan kemandirian anak dalam upaya pembentukan karakter yang positif bagi anak usia dini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif dengan metode observasi partisipatif dan wawancara terstruktur. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi di kelas secara langsung wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, wawancara langsung dengan guru kelas kelompok B berjumlah 4 orang yang terdiri dari 2 orang guru kelas dan 2 orang guru pendamping, melakukan pengamatan terhadap anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 15 anak, serta dokumentasi. Data teknik analisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, data penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salah satu cara meningkatkan motivasi dan kemandirian peserta didik dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang mengacu pada kebutuhan belajar dan minat setiap anak dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan kemandirian setiap anak.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu capaian PISA merefleksikan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, PAUD sebagai pengawal pondasi perlu melakukan usaha terbaik dalam membina generasi. Membangun minat literasi membaca perlu dilakukan sedini mungkin, namun demikian metode yang tepat menjadi fokus utama karena akan mempengaruhi hasil capaian bagaimana karakter literat sepanjang hayat terbangun di masa mendatang. Perpustakaan merupakan salah satu sarana yang banyak diyakini menjadi pendukung utama dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran nyata bagaimana mengimplementasikan penyelenggaraan perpustakaan PAUD dalam membangun minat literasi membaca anak di era society 5.0. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis data dari Miles dan Huberman. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD KB Lazan Edu Center sebanyak 25 anak. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa berdasarkan standar perkembangan pada subdomain membaca dasar, dari 8 indikator pada dua kelompok standar penyelenggaraan perpustakaan di PAUD memfasilitasi 7 indikator dan hanya 1 indikator yang tidak terpenuhi. Berdasarkan kontinum perkembangan anak dalam membaca awal, penyelenggaraan perpustakaan di PAUD memfasilitasi seluruh indikator, yakni 13 indikator.  Sehingga kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penyelenggaraan perpustakaan PAUD dapat menjadi alternatif program dalam membangun literasi membaca awal di era society 5.0
