Abstract

This research is motivated by the low numeracy skills of children. It is suspected that the child's low numeracy ability can be caused by many factors, including inappropriate learning methods, lack of parental/environmental support, unattractive learning facilities/media, and low levels of children's intelligence. This study aims to determine the ability to increase the effectiveness of using ice cream sticks in improving the numeracy skills of children aged 5-6 years in Nagari Muaro Sakai, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method with a pretest and posttest design. The population of this study were 20 children aged 5-6 years in Nagari Muaro Sakai, with a study sample of 8 children taken by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used paired sample t-test. Before being given the action (pretest) the child's numeracy ability was categorized as not yet developed, after being given the action (posttest) the child's numeracy ability was categorized as developing and there was an influence of ice cream stick media on the child's ability to count. Sig 0.000 < 0.05. It is suggested to AUD parents and educators to use ice cream stick media in developing numeracy skills in children.Keywords: Ice cream stick media, Counting Ability

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see whether or not there is a relevant relationship between the role of parents in children's learning activities and children's reading learning outcomes at Ceria Kasih Bunda PAUD. The type of research on this research is descriptive correlational which is then carried out through a quantitative approach. The population in this study were the female parents of Ceria Kasih Bunda PAUD children, totaling 34 people, with a sample size of 17 people and to collect data, the process of distributing questionnaires or questionnaires had finished testing its validity and reliability. The data analysis obtained was 1) the role of parents in children's learning activities obtained 25.48% who gave always answers and 47.37% who gave frequent answers, so it can be categorized quite well. 2) children's learning to read results obtained 46.62% with moderately developed answers and 15.95% with developing answers as expected, so it can be categorized that children's learning outcomes are quite good at Ceria Kasih Bunda PAUD during the covid-19 pandemic. After testing the hypothesis using the SPSS application, the results showed that there was no relevant relationship between the role of parents in children's learning activities and the results of learning to read children at Ceria Cinta Bunda during the COVID-19 pandemic because the data obtained were r_count = 0.003 and The value was consulted with r_(table ) = 0.456 with N = 16. Based on the results of the consultation, it was obtained r_hitung>r_(table). If r_table is greater than r_(count ) then H_0 is accepted and vice versa H_1 is rejected.Keywords: Education, Early Childhood Education, Learning Activities, Reading Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low socio-emotional development of children between the ages of 5 and 6 years, which is likely due to the extent of children's dependence on using certain media like gadgets and calls for extra caution to minimize it. the socio-emotional development of children between the ages of 5 and 6 in RW 03 and the relationship between parental supervision of technology use and the socio-emotional development of children between the ages of 5 and 6 in RW 3. This type of research is quantitative and correlative. Parents with children who were between the ages of 5 and 6 years old, as well as up to 56 other people, made up the study's population. 32 people used the stitch probing technique. Daten An evaluation tool called a questionbogen is used, and the percent formula and the product moment are used in data analysis. The findings revealed that while the category's description of older users' oversight of gadget use was favorable, the category's description of younger users' socioemotional growth (children aged 5–6 years) lagged behind. Additionally, there is a correlation between parental supervision of children's device use and their social and emotional development in RW 03 when they are between the ages of 5 and 6, but this correlation is weak because r table = 0,304. According to Sugiyono, the r-Wert belongs to the middle category because it falls within the range of (0,40-0,59), which is equal to 0,454.Keywords: parental supervision, social emotional development, gadget

Abstract

Tulisan ini di latar belakangi oleh maraknya kasus kekerasan seksual yang terjadi pada anak usia dini. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak masa sekarang dan selanjutnya sangat bahaya sekali apabila anak terkena kekerasan seksual. Untuk itu, adanya upaya pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan baik dalam keluarga, masyarakat maupun sekolah yaitu bekerja sama dengan baik agar tidak terjadinya kekerasan seksual pada anak. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran keluarga, masyarakat dan sekolah dalam upaya mencegah kekerasan seksual pada anak usia dini. Metode penulisan yaitu menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan berbagai sumber referensi yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang dibahas oleh penulis. Hasil penulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa peran keluarga, masyarakat dan sekolah sangat berpengaruh pada kehidupan anak karena mampu mencegah kekerasan seksual pada anak. Peran orang tua merupakan faktor utama bagi anak agar terhindar dari kekerasan seksual lalu lingkungan masyarakat yang peduli terhadap anak dapat menegur dan saling mengingatkan begitu juga dengan tempat sekolah anak. Maka orang tua, guru serta lingkungan tempat tinggal anak haruslah perlu diperhatikan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many complaints about the lack of optimal learning stimulation activities for early childhood during the pandemic, even though early childhood is the golden age of every child's development and affects the development of children at a later age. The study aims to describe the readiness of families, especially parents, to support learning stimulation activities from home during the pandemic in terms of the readiness of the knowledge and skills needed, the readiness of infrastructure to support children's learning from home, and the readiness to provide mentoring time during the implementation of learning stimulation from home. This research is quantitative and descriptive. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire technique distributed online using the Google Form application. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. Data collection involved 450 respondents randomly representing five provinces; West Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Gorontalo. Based on the study's results, it was concluded that; 1). In general, families (parents) of early childhood do not have the knowledge and skills to support children's learning activities from home. 2) In general, families (parents) of early childhood do not have adequate infrastructure to support children's learning activities from home. 3) In general, families (parents) of early childhood do not have the readiness to provide time and opportunities for assistance during activities to study children from home.

Abstract

Perkembangan anak usia dini termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini melihat gambaran lingkungan sosial masyarakat, perilaku sosial anak usia dini, dan hubungan kedua variabel. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 68 orang dan 60% sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik stratified random sample. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan teknik analisis menggunakan rumus persentase dan product moment. Hasil di temukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan sosial masyarakat dengan perilaku sosial anak. Dampak dari perilaku sosial, anak menjadi agresif, emosional, dan rendah diri. Anak usia dini perlu meningkatkan perilaku terhadap lingkungan sosial di masyarakat dengan pengawasan orang tua.

Abstract

The development of a very fast and competitive era demands the readiness of high quality and tough human resources. The use of the STEAM approach with Loose Parts learning materials is one of the unique learning at this institution, where the institution incorporates elements of local wisdom in STEAM and Loose Parts. The purpose of this study was to determine the institution's strategy in providing learning media used in implementing the Hauriyah Halum Integrated STEAM PAUD approach. This type of research is a case study with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques are carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques and data interpretation were carried out including; data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. While for the validity of the data is done by triangulation of methods and sources. The results of the study show that in carrying out learning activities with STEAM and Loose Part, the school utilizes the media in the environment around the child by adhering to the concept of "Álam Takambang Jadi Guru'' and integrating it with modern audiovisual media

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena Peningkatan jumlah wisatawan dan bertambahnya jumlah home industry di kampung nelayan ampang pulai kabupaten pesisir selatan. Hal ini di duga karena adanya peran pemuda sebagai agent of change dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan peran pemuda sebagai agent of change dalam memperdayakan masyarakat melalui usaha pariwisata kuliner dilihat dari aspek fasilitator dan edukator, serta terciptanya masyarakat yang berdaya di kampung nelayan ampang pulai kabupaten pesisir selatan.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat penggiat usaha pariwisata kuliner yang berjumlah 51 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan simple rendom sampling. Sampel di ambil sebanyak 75% dari populasi jadi berjumlah 33 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Sedangkan alat pengumpulan data daftar pernyataan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peran Pemuda Sebagai Agent Of Change Dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Pada Usaha Pariwisata Kuliner Di Kampung Nelayan Ampang Pulai Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dalam aspek peran fasilitator baik, dan aspek peran edukator juga baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan sebagian besar masyarakat penggiat usaha pariwisata kuliner memberikan pernyataan selalu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka disarankan agar pemuda dapat mempertahankan serta meningkatkan kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui usaha pariwisata kuliner, sehingga berdampak positif khususnya pada pemberdayaan masyarakat serta masyarakat dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya melalui usaha pariwisata kuliner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena keunikan evaluasi pelatihan silat di desa Kuliek Nagari Sungai Buluah Timur Kecamatan Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu, syarat, dan tahap pelaksanaan evaluasi pelatihan silat di desa Kuliek. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus yang mengunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selanjutnya di analisis mengunakan teknik trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) tidak ada waktu evaluasi pelaksanaan pelatihan silat di desa Kuliek, termasuk pelaksanaan seremonial urak rabek,(2) Indikator penilaian untuk pelaksaan evaluasi pelatihan silat dinilai dari Peserta yang telah memiliki kuda kuda yang kokoh, dapat mengelakkan serangan lawan dengan gesit, Memiliki teknik pukulan, bantingan dan tendangan yang baik, hafal langkah atau jurus dasar silat yang telah diajarkan. Pelaksaan evaluasi pelatihan silat ini terdiri dari dua tahap yaitu tahapan proses dan tahapan hasil berupa seremonial urak rabek.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan bicara anak usia dini di Kampung Pisang Kecamatan Kinali Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Diduga salah satu penyebabnya adalah karena komunikasi yang diterapkan dalam keluarga kurang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menggambarkan komunikasi yang terjadi dalam keluarga; 2) menggambarkan kemampuan bicara anak usia dini; dan 3) melihat hubungan antara komunikasi dalam keluarga dengan kemampuan bicara anak usia di Kampung Pisang, Kecamatan Kinali, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang berjumlah 26 orang yang mempunyai anak usia 4-5 tahun. Sampel berjumlah 19 orang dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan angket dan observasi perkembangan kemampuan bicara anak usia dini, data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan rumus korelasi korelasi Sperman Rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) komunikasi yang terjadi dalam keluarga di Kampung Pisang dikategorikan kurang tepat; 2) kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini di Kampung Pisang masih rendah; dan 3) terdapat hubungan yang cukup signifikan antara komunikasi dalam keluarga dengan kemampuan bicara anak usia dini di Kampung Pisang, Kecamatan Kinali, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.
