Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on all economic sectors and the order of life in society, including the marine tourism sector. As in the Batukaras Beach tourism area, West Java Province. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of tourist visits marine tourism area of Batukaras Beach and the economic value of marine tourism. The research conducted in May 2021 – June 2022. The data used primary and secondary data, using purposive sampling as many as 106 respondents using multiple linear regression and travel cost method. Based on the results of the research, the factors that influence marine tourism visits are variables X1 natural conditions of marine tourism, X2 types of marine tourism attractions, X3 distance traveled, X4 length of time for tourism activities, X5 level of education, X6 income level, X7 age, X8 travel cost. Based on this research it was obtained economic value of the marine tourism environment based on travel expenses in Batukaras Beach is IDR 79,795,000. Consumer surplus or tourists' willingness to pay based on the individual travel cost method is IDR 2,975.08/individual/visiting and economic value of marine tourism based on willingness to pay in Batukaras Beach IDR 1,039,130,027.

Abstract

Lemna sp. merupakan tanaman air yang banyak tersebar di perairan umum di Indonesia, dan memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang baik sehingga berpotensi digunakan sebagai pakan ikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kawasan Perikanan Darat Ciparanje FPIK Unpad, Balai Pengembangan dan Pemacuan Stok Ikan Gurame dan Nilem (BPPSIGN) Singaparna Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian Lemna sp. berimbuhan kromium optimal untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan benih ikan gurame. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua tahap, tahap satu adalah mengukur retensi kromium dalam Lemna yang dikultur pada media yang mengandung krom 10 mg/L pada ketinggian air yang berbeda (10 dan 20 cm). Tahap dua adalah memberikan Lemna yang berimbuhan krom sebagai pakan ikan gurame. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri dari lima perlakuan, yaitu A (Lemna sp. 20%), B (Lemna sp. berimbuhan kromium 1,65% + Lemna sp. 18,35%), C (Lemna sp. berimbuhan kromium 3,3% + Lemna sp. 16,7%), D (Lemna sp. berimbuhan kromium 4,95% + Lemna sp. 15,05%), E (Lemna sp. 6,6% + Lemna sp. 13,4%), dan setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Parameter yang diamati adalah kandungan kromium dalam Lemna, pertumbuhan harian dan kelangsungan hidup ikan gurame. Pengujian pengaruh dari setiap perlakuan data diuji dengan menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Jika terdapat perbedaan antara perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan uji jarak berganda Duncan dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa retensi kromium dalam Lemna sp. yang dikultur selama 7 hari di media air yang telah ditambahkan 10 mg/L Cr adalah 6,05 mg/kg. Pemberian Lemna sp. berimbuhan kromium 4,95% + Lemna sp. 15,05% menghasilkan nilai laju pertumbuhan harian terbaik sebesar 0,82% dan kelangsungan hidup terbaik sebesar 90%.

Abstract

Cakwan merupakan produk salah satu produk inovasi yang mampu menghilangkan bau amis dan sifat berlendir dari ikan patin dengan cara pengolahan deep fry dan penambahan campuran rempah ngohiong. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat produk inovatif makanan siap saji dari ikan patin. Metode pengujian produk yang dilakukan adalah uji hedonik, analisis proksimat, analisis nilai kalori, dan perhitungan AKG. Hasil uji kesukaan (hedonik) menunjukkan bahwa responden menyukai produk cakwan berbahan ikan patin dengan nilai pada kenampakan 3,63 (cenderung suka), aroma 3,52 (cenderung suka), tekstur 4,11 (suka), rasa 4,11 (suka), dan aftertaste 3,99 (cenderung suka). Hasil uji kalori menunjukkan jumlah kalori sebanyak 202,9 kkal dalam 100 gram produk. Hasil uji proksimat menunjukkan bahwa dalam 100 gram cakwan terdapat kadar air 56,17%, lemak 5,36%, protein 5,03 %, dan karbohidrat 23,63 %. Perhitungan kecukupan gizi menunjukkan 100 gram cakwan mampu mencukupi kebutuhan kalori sebesar 7,66% - 10,14%, karbohidrat 5,49% - 7,87%, protein 20% - 30%, dan lemak 6,3% - 8,24% pada laki-laki berumur 10-64 tahun sementara untuk perempuan berumur 10-64 tahun mampu memenuhi kecukupan kalori sebesar 9% - 11,27%, karbohidrat 6,56% - 8,43%, protein 23,12% - 27,32%, dan lemak 7,65% - 10,72%.

Abstract

Sungai Cilutung merupakan anak sungai dari Sungai Cimanuk di Jawa Barat. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman ikan yang hidup di Sungai Cilutung pada bulan September-November 2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam riset adalah metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling dan dilakukan pada tiga stasiun penelitian. Parameter yang diamati yaitu kelimpahan, keanekaragaman, dominansi, dan keseragaman. Ikan yang tertangkap sebanyak 300 ekor terdiri dari 10 spesies dalam 4 famili dan identifikasi menggunakan metode taksonomi dengan melihat ciri meristik dan morfometrik. Indeks keanekaragaman pada stasiun 1, 2, dan 3 memiliki nilai 1.03 ≤ H’ ≤ 1.57 dan dalam kategori rendah. Indeks dominansi pada stasiun 1, 2, dan 3 memiliki nilai 0.28 < C ≤ 0.38 dan dalam kategori rendah. Indeks keseragaman memiliki nilai 0.26 < E ≤ 0.37 dan dalam kategori kecil, struktur komunitas tertekan.   The Cilutung River is a tributary of the Cimanuk River in West Java. This research aims to determine the diversity of fish that live in the Cilutung River in September-November 2020. The method used in the research is the survey method. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling method and was carried out at three research stations. Parameters observed were abundance, diversity, dominance, and evenness. 300 fish caught consisting of 10 species in 4 families and identified using taxonomic method by looking at meristic and morphometric characteristic. The diversity index at stations 1, 2, and 3 has a value of 1.03 H' 1.57 and is in a low category. The dominance index at stations 1, 2, and 3 has a value of 0.28 < C 0.38 and is in a low category. The evenness index has a value of 0.26 < E 0.37 and in the small category, the community structure is depressed.

Abstract

The indigenous species of the Cimanuk River that can adapt to the stagnant waters of the Jatigede Reservoir is the hampala barb, this fish grows and breeds well; has an ecological function as a predatory fish from the cyprinidae family, and its economic function is that it can be traded in the Jatigede Reservoir, but its growth pattern, condition and reproduction factors are not widely known. The riset was conducted for six months (September - December 2017, January -  February 2018), the purpose of the research was to find the growth pattern, condition factors and reproductive characteristics of the hampala barb. Field survey research method, composite fish sampling from five research stations, data calculated using fisheries biology methods. The results showed that the growth was negative allometric. b value of male fish was 2.429; female fish was 2.717; good condition factor K value of male fish was 1.17 to 1.47 and female fish was 1.16 to 1.38. Reproduction is a partially spawn, starting to spawn in October.

Abstract

AbstractCipeles River is a sub-watershed of the Cimanuk River that flows in Sumedang Regency, Indonesia. The upstream is located in Sukasari District and flows into Tomo District. This study aimed to determine the fish community structure in the Cipeles River during the dry season. This research was conducted from September to December 2020 using field observation methods and purposive sampling techniques at three stations (Station 1 at 6°48′59.5″S and 108°01′22.5″E; Station 2 at 6°48′56.2″S and 108°01′32.3″E; and Station 3 at 6°47′3.7″S and 108°05′44″E) data analysis employed descriptive-comparative. Parameters observed are abundance, diversity, dominance, uniformity, community structure, and water quality. The results showed that from 566 caught fish the diversity index is low with a value of 0.86–0.89, a moderate dominance index with a value of 0.55–0.62, and a low uniformity index of 0.16–0.17. Based on the three index values, it can be concluded that the fish community structure the dry season in the Cipeles River is categorized as depressed, caused by the high influence of total suspended solids that have exceeded the water quality threshold value for fisheries (according to regulation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2021 on Spatial Management) with concentrations ranging from 67 mgL-1 to 74 mgL-1.AbstrakSungai Cipeles merupakan sub DAS dari Sungai Cimanuk yang mengalir di Kabupaten Sumedang, Indonesia. Hulunya terletak di Kecamatan Sukasari dan mengalir ke Kecamatan Tomo, Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas ikan di Sungai Cipeles pada musim kemarau. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September hingga Desember 2020 dengan menggunakan metode pengamatan lapangan dan teknik purposive sampling pada tiga stasiun (Stasiun 1 di 6°48′59.5″LS dan 108°01′22.5″BT, Stasiun 2 di 6°48′56.2″ S dan 108°01′32.3″BT, dan Stasiun 3 di 6°47′3.7″LS dan 108°05′44″E). Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif-komparatif. Parameter yang diamati adalah kelimpahan, keragaman, dominasi, keseragaman, struktur komunitas, dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 566 ikan yang ditangkap indeks keragamannya rendah dengan nilai 0,86–0,89, indeks dominansi sedang dengan nilai 0,55–0,62, dan indeks keseragaman rendah 0,16–0,17. Berdasarkan ketiga nilai indeks tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa struktur komunitas ikan pada musim kemarau di Sungai Cipeles dikategorikan tertekan, disebabkan oleh tingginya pengaruh total padatan tersuspensi yang telah melebihi nilai ambang batas kualitas air untuk perikanan (menurut Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 22 Tahun 2021 tentang Penataan Ruang) dengan konsentrasi berkisar antara 67 mgL-1 sampai dengan 74 mgL-1.

Abstract

 The mangrove ecosystem of Cemara Kulon Village has the potential for fishery resources which has decreased in line with various anthropogenic activities. This study aims to determine the composition of fish and analyze the status of the fish community structure and its relation to the physical-chemical aspects of the waters in the mangrove ecosystem of Cemara Kulon Village. This research was conducted over a period of three months  in the mangrove ecosystem of Cemara Kulon Village. The method used in this research was  descriptive quantitative purposive and composite sampling at 3 research stations. Parameters observed in this study were relative abundance, diversity, uniformity, dominance, and the relationship between community structure and aquatic physico-chemical parameters. During the study, 508 fish were caught, consisting of 20 species from 16 families. The value of diversity was in the moderate category with a ranged of 1.87-2.50; the uniformity value was in the moderate category with a ranged of 0.41-0.46 and the dominance value was in the low category with a ranged of 0.11-0.22.   Based on the results of the Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA) revealed that fish diversity was affected by light transparency and DO, the uniformity of fish was  affected by temperature, and the dominance of fish was affected by ammonia. The fish community structure was categorized as unstable which was influenced by water quality.

Abstract

Food and feeding habits are important things in bioecological of fish. This study provides an understanding of the feeding habits and intensity of the M. gulio, by analyzing its food composition, relative gut length (RGL) and gastro-somatic index (GaSI). Fish specimens were caught with a gill net and fishing rod in an area of Cianjur estuaries during a period of one year from October 2021 to September 2022. The analysis of 452 fish samples shows that the relative gut length (RGL) values revealed the feeding habit of M. gulio as carni-omnivorous. The GaSI value was used to determine feeding intensity and was found to be highest in November, at Cidamar estuary, and in the second size group (7.1-10 cm). These results provide new knowledge on this fish species’ feeding habit and intensity, which also helps understand the fish adaptation and conservation in the study area.

Abstract

Seiring bertambahnya populasi dan perkembangan negara dan penggunaan lahan untuk pemanfaatan teknologi dan pembanguann menjadi alasan banyaknya lahan perikanan maupun pertanian beralih fungsi. Budikdamber menjadi salah satu solusi untuk pemanfaatan lahan yang sempit. Budikdamber merupakan sistem budidaya yang memadukan budidaya ikan dan menanam tanaman air secara bersamaan dalam satu ember. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui padat terbar optimal bagi kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan ikan lele sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus) dengan menggunakan sistem budikdamber. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus – September 2023. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah perbedaan padat tebar yaitu 1 ekor/L, 2 ekor/L, 3 ekor/L, 4 ekor/L dan 5 ekor/L. Parameter yang diamati meliputi kelangsungan hidup, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, Feed Convertion Rate pada ikan dan pertumbuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Kelangsungan hidup optimum yaitu pada padat tebar 3 ekor/L (perlakuan C) dengan nilai 75,93±2,74% sedangkan laju pertumbuhan spesifik dan Feed Convertion Rate (FCR) yang terbaik yaitu pada padat tebar 2 ekor/L (perlakuan B) dengan nilai laju pertumbuhan spesifik 2,12±0,08% dan nilai FCR 1,31±0,27. Pertumbuhan kangkung terbaik yaitu pada padat tebar 5 ekor/L (perlakuan E) menghasilkan rata-rata tertinggi yaitu 18,10 cm dan berat panen 424,8 g.   As the population increases and the development of the country and the use of land for the utilization of technology and development are the reasons for many fisheries and agricultural land to change function. Budikdamber is one solution for the utilization of narrow land. Budikdamber is a cultivation system that combines fish farming and growing aquatic plants simultaneously in one bucket. The purpose of the study was to determine the optimal renewable density for the survival and growth of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) using the budikdamber system. This research was conducted in August – September 2023. The method used was a rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) with 5 treatments and 3 replicates. The treatment used was the difference in stocking density, namely 1 Ind/L, 2 Ind/L, 3 Ind/L, 4 Ind/L and 5 Ind/L. Parameters observed included survival, specific growth rate, Feed Conversion Rate in fish and growth. The results showed that the highest survival rate was at a stocking density of 1 Ind/L (treatment A) with a value of 81.67% while the best specific growth rate and Feed Conversion Rate (FCR) was at a stocking density of 2 Ind/L (treatment B) with a specific growth rate value of 2.12 ± 0.08% and FCR value of 1.31 ± 0.27. The best kale growth was at a stocking density of 5 Ind/L (treatment E) producing the highest average of 18.10 cm and a harvest weight of 424.8 g. The best kale growth was at a stocking density of 5 Ind/L (treatment E).

Abstract

Pangasius is a freshwater fish included in the main commodity by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Indonesia. Siamese catfish production ranked 4th in freshwater fish commodities in 2016 after goldfish, tilapia, and catfish. Pangasius has a lack of EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) if compared with fish from the sea. Application of additional different levels of soybean oil in commercial fish fed to enhance EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) in Perkasa pangasiid flesh. This study was conducted to determine the effect of adding soybean oil with different levels of commercial fish feed given to Perkasa striped catfish on growth performance, feed efficiency, EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid), and DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid). This experimental study used a Complete Randomized Design (CDR) with triplicates and five treatments with additional levels of soybean oil in commercial fish fed: (a) 0%, (b) 2%, (c) 4%, (d) 6%, and (e) 8%. The result showed that treatment of (e) is the best treatment for increasing the EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) in Pangasius flesh. However, additional different levels of soybean oil in the commercial fish feed have no negative effect on growth performance and feed efficiency in Perkasa pangasiid.
