Abstract

This research discusses the Proportional-Integral-Resonant (PIR) control system used to regulate a three-phase induction motor, ensuring stability of the speed output and reducing ripple in the DC current output. The study also covers the modulation techniques employed to control the switching of the rectifier using the Space Vector Pulse-Width Modulation (SVPWM) method, where the threephase current and voltage are represented in synchronous rotating coordinates. In this control strategy, a vector control with SVPWM modulation technique is utilized to achieve optimal DC voltage output. To obtain an optimal controller design, parameter gain tuning is performed on the speed, flux, and torque control cascade using the symmetrical optimum method. Simulation testing is carried out using MATLAB/Simulink software to demonstrate the stability of the speed output and the DC current output of the three-phase induction motor. The three-phase induction motor with the PIR controller yields better results compared to the PI controller, achieving a speed of 163.2 rad/s, reaching a steadystate condition within 0.317 seconds, exhibiting overshoot, and a steady-state error of 2.39%. Keywords: Three phase induction motor, PIR controller, Direct Torque Control, symmetrical optimum.

Abstract

The study discusses the three-phase induction motor control response using the proportional-integralresonant control system (PIR) with the purpose of pressing the ripple on the torque output and stabilizing the output at speed. The study uses three-phase induction traction motor specifications of which one of its uses is on high-speed trains. The vector control method used is the dtc method with the svm technique. This study uses a pole placement method for determining the main parameters. Determination of the main parameter pi is determining the pole by comparing the characteristics of the polynomial with the system pole. When you get the desired pole, And it is also a Kp(speed) is 2.78 and Ki (speed) is -52.27. The value of the Kp ( torsi) is 23,661 and the Ki ( torsi) is -47,278 The value of Kp (flux) is 182,53 and Ki (flux) is - 13.3. Simulated testing uses simulink matlab software to show stability of the output speed which also reduces the ripple on the induction motor torque of three fas.3 fasa speed and motor torque with sinus wave load using pear controller generates a better response than with sinus wave load using pi controller. From the test result data that the steady state error value on the pear controller is less than 1.33 %, while the steady state error value on the greater pi controller is 22.48 %. Keywords: Three phase indution motor, PIR controller, Diret Torque Control (DTC), Pole Placement.

Abstract

Currently, it is easy to access the wide variety of digital content on the internet, and therefore protection effort for digital content is an important problem that needs to solve. One kind of digital content that urgently needs to protect is digital image. Protection is needed not only for the copyright but also for the authenticity of digital image because there are so many advanced image editing software, that are easy to use. This paper presents a scheme for digital image protection through Digital Watermarking process using Two Level Discrete Cosine Transform, and Chinese Remainder Theorem for color digital image. This scheme has an ability to detect and to recover some kind of changes that occur in the watermarked image. This ability can be achieved because this scheme is categorized into fragile digital watermarking, thus, has low robustness. However, based on experiment results, this scheme shows a good invisibility. It is higher than the previous research and has a minimum distortion, proven by Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) value of around 45.

Abstract

Artificial Algae Algorithm (AAA) is an optimization algorithm that takes advantage of the swarm and evolutionary models. AAA consists of three phases, which are helical movement, reproduction, and adaptation. Helical movement is a three-dimensional motion which is highly influential in the convergence rate and diversity of solutions. Optimization of helical movement aims to increase the rate of convergence by moving the algae to the best colony in the population. Best colony in population is the closest to the best light source (the target solution), so that the movement is called Best Light Movement (BLM). AAA with movement toward the best light source (AAA-BLM) is tested and implemented in the case of pressure vessel design optimization. The test results indicate that the execution time of AAA-BLM increases 1,103 times faster than AAA. The increase in speed is caused by the tournament selection of AAA which is performed before the helical movement, while the AAA-BLM is conducted if a solution after the movement is not better than previous one. In the best condition, AAA-BLM finds a solution 4,5921 times faster than AAA. In the worst condition, AAA-BLM get stuck in local optima due to helical movement is too focused on the global best which may not be the global optima.

Abstract

The rapid rate of population growth in urban areas, especially, can cause environmental problems, one of which is a decrease in the availability of agricultural land. On the other hand, global problems such as changes in world temperature and extreme climate change can disrupt stability in maintaining food availability. In this millennial period, many businesses have developed to fulfill their own food needs, starting from the application of theory to technology. One method that is being widely used by farmers in Indonesia is hydroponics. The research, which was conducted in a closed room in a house in Mojokerto for 10 days, experimented with growing pakcoy hydroponically using several control integrations in the form of indoor photosynthesis, automatic nutrient dosing, liquid level monitoring, and air circulation regulation. Based on the implementation of the research using a programmable logic controller, which compared the results of indoor and outdoor planting, it was found that the temperature of the planting environment and the temperature of the water in the indoor growing media remained in the range of 24℃-29℃, the air humidity was 63% -96%, the nutrient density was 789-1298 PPM, and leaf growth of 1-2 strands per day. Yields of pakcoy plants on indoor growing media give maximum results on leaf growth and leaf color, but are not better than pakcoy plants on outdoor growing media or those exposed to direct sunlight. Keywords: PLC, hydroponic, indoor, pakcoy, automatic.

Abstract

Control systems have played an important role in the advancement of science and technology. One of the challenges is the use of conventional controllers such as PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controllers which are less than optimal in dealing with complex systems. Therefore, there is a new theory of control called Repetitive Control (RC), RC allows robots to improve movement precision and repetitive task tracking. RC allows the robot to improve the precision of movement and repetitive task tracking. This research uses the Python programming language to design the control system and simulate the variation of the given reference signal and then an analysis is carried out which aims to determine the performance of control method is the most effective. The results of the Plug-in RC control method with three kinds of internal model variations namely modified, odd harmonics, and multi periods are then compared with the PID controller control method. The evaluation parameter values used in this study are time response, %overshoot, root mean square error (RMSE), integral time absolute error (ITAE). As a result, Plug-in RC is more effective in dealing with repetitive signals. For example, at plant J1 (waist) frequencies of 1 Hz and 3 Hz PID produces an ITAE value of 1875.372 and RMSE of 0.21699. Plug-in RC modified internal model produces ITAE value of 3.749 and RMSE of 0.00052. The Plug-in RC odd harmonics internal model produces an ITAE value of 5.753 and an RMSE of 0.00069. While at the frequency of multi periods the performance of the plug-in RC multi periods internal model is better than the PID controller, this can be seen in plant J2 (shoulder) where the Plug-in RC multi periods has an ITAE value of 8.993 and an RMSE of 0.00152, while the PID controller has an ITAE value of 3849.193 and an RMSE of 0.45739. Abstract

Every medical procedure, includes the installation of an infusion, must face with the risks and side effects that can harm health. Misinfusion error often occur because infusion runs out prematurely, although they have been calculated according to the standard of individual fluid requirements. The main risk of improper disinfection is air embolism. In response to potential errors, an infusion monitoring device with a protection mechanism that detects run out of the infusion bag and the number of drops perminute is designed. To solve this problem, an infusion monitoring device with features capable of providing notification connected to the IoT system when droplets do not match, provides an estimate of the infusion time to run out, and provides a real-time estimate of infusion droplets when the roller clamp is rotated. When this condition occurs, the system helps prevent blood from rising into the infusion hose, acting as a protective measure to avoid entering the air into the blood vessels. This study was conducted by conducting a test on the drip sensor used by using calculations according to the applicable conditions of intravenous administration. The results of this study include accuracy of intravenous drip detection sensors (photodiodes) above 96% in actual conditions, with sensors working more accurately in dark environments. The infusion volume reading using a load cell sensor has a high accuracy of 99%, Information related to infusion volume, number of drops/minutes, estimated time of infusion, and notification of infusion warnings can also be accessed properly. Abstract

The robot manipulator is an example of the advancement in control technology in the current industrial era. Robots with 4 degrees of freedom (DoF) in their movements are often used to increase efficiency and reduce accident risks in the industry. However, in solving the inverse kinematics of the robot manipulator, there is a computational complexity problem in determining the joint angle values. Therefore, this study aims to solve the inverse kinematics problem using artificial neural networks on the Robot OpenMANIPULATOR-X. This research involves data collection through forward kinematics, designing an artificial neural network model by testing the number of hidden layers, neurons, and learning rate, and testing the points of the neural network model results on the robot in a real plant. Abstract

Indonesia is the 15th largest country in the world and the largest archipelago in the world. With Indonesia's vast territory, the country has diverse natural conditions so that natural disasters that occur also vary in each region. One of the many natural disasters that occur in Indonesia is strong winds. Strong winds are quite dangerous because they cannot be predicted. This can certainly harm the community. Prevention efforts are very important in dealing with this phenomenon, such as periodic observation of wind speed. The solution to this problem is to design a tool that can provide wind speed information that can be accessed through the website and can provide warnings. The making of this tool consists of the main parts in the form of a microcontroller, wind speed sensor, humidity temperature sensor, and GSM module. The results of the sensor will be processed by a microcontroller to be sent via a GSM module connection and can be accessed using the internet through a website that has been created. From the results of the tool design, if the wind speed ≥11 m / s and wind acceleration ≥ 5.5 m / s then on the website there is a danger sign display and the alarm on the tool will turn on. Keywords— microcontroller, wind speed sensor, GSM module
