Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of relaxation exercises and concentration on the results of free-throw shooting. Relaxation exercises used by researchers are progressive relaxation exercises and autogenic relaxation exercises. This experimental study uses 2x2 factorial design. A total of 20 men's basketball athletes were selected as samples with a purposive sampling technique, then divided into four experimental groups. Data analysis techniques using ANOVA. The results of the study: there is a difference in effect between progressive relaxation exercises and autogenic relaxation on the results of free-throw shooting (Fvalue = 8.471 > Ftable = 3.59), progressive relaxation exercises are better than autogenic relaxation exercises, there is a difference in effect between high and low category concentrations on free-throw shooting results, (Fvalue = 8,471 > Ftable = 3.59), athletes with high category concentrations have more influence on free-throw shooting results, compared to athletes with low category concentrations, there is an interaction between relaxation training methods, and concentration on the results of free-throw shooting, (Fvalue = 5.882 > Ftable = 3.59). Conclusions from the results of this study are there is a difference in the effect between relaxation exercises (progressive and autogenic) on the results of free-throw shooting on the Integrated Islamic Junior High School Bina Amal basketball team. There is a difference of effect between high and low category concentrations on free-throw shooting on the Bina Amal Integrated Islamic Junior High School basketball team. There is an interaction between relaxation training methods and concentration on free-throw shooting on the Integrated Islamic Junior High School Bina Amal basketball team. This research suggests that the results of the study of the effects of progressive relaxation exercises, and concentration on the results of free-throw shooting can be continued by researchers and other sports enthusiasts with different problem variables so that the research results are more complex and in-depth.

Abstract

Neonatal mortality rate (NMR) in Tegal Regency from 2015-2017 has contributed significantly to infant mortality, which is 70-81% and is ranked the 3rd largest in neonatal deaths in Central Java Province. One reason is the level of knowledge and handling of officers in the steps of Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMNCI) in neonatal visits is still low. This study aims to simultaneously analyze the influence of IMNCI training on midwives' knowledge, attitudes, motivations and compliance of neonatal visit in Tegal Regency. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest-posttest design with a control group design, with a sample of 54 respondents namely 27 midwives as a control group and 27 midwives as an intervention group. The results showed a simultaneous difference in the intervention group between IMNCI training on knowledge, attitudes, motivation and compliance of midwife neonatal visit in Tegal Regency where the results of the Manova analysis showed a significance value of less than 0.05 (p = 0,000). The results of this study can be taken into consideration in taking the policy of the IMNCI program as one of the actions to increase the achievement of neonatal visits with IMNCI approach in an effort to reduce morbidity and infant mortality, especially in neonatal period.

Abstract

Breast self-examination (BSE) is one of the steps taken to measure the level of validity and reliability. The purpose of this research is to develop a valid, reliable and practical BSE assessment instrument. Small-scale test data was obtained at Muhammadiyah University Semarang (UNIMUS) with 50 students, data field test data was obtained at Kudus Academy and Stikes Widya Husada Semarang with 110 students. Data analysis using source triangulation, grain validity, explanatory factor analysis (EFA), Alpha Cronbach reliability and two way anava and re-analyzed using Hoyt formula and practicality test. The research method used is research and development (R & D). The result of validity of small grains of 26 grains is valid, for anti-image correlation of 26 grains and 3 grains is not valid, small scale reliability value 0.714 and KMO result in field trial show value equal to 0,945, MSA> 0,5 and significance of Barlett test equal to 0,000. The assessment instrument developed is valid constructively because it is able to explain the overall variation of the BSE materials. The reliability value of alpha cronbach is 0.970. Practical results show the BSE instrument in the "very practical" category"The benefits of this study can be a reference in the steps of development of instruments that can support the quality of teaching and learning process of midwifery students.
