Abstract

The quality of health services can be measured by measuring the indices of public satisfaction on services provided at a public health center. Measurements are certainly done by using instruments to facilitate the collection of data. The purpose of this research is to develop the measurement instrument of community satisfaction index at public health center based on android. The benefistsof the research that can be used as a standard guide in measuring public satisfaction. The instruments currently used do not measure the index of community satisfaction as expected based on indicators of community satisfaction. This research is a development research conducted on unit of outpatient service Ngemplak Simongan Public Health Center, Semarang City in April-May 2018. The sampling technique using accidental sampling Test method of content validity using expert judgment, construct validity using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), while reliability testing using Cronbach Alpha. The develop instrument consists of five dimensions of measurement which includes tangible, responsivenees, reliability, assurance and emphaty. The result ofthe research shows that all statement items of 72 items from all service units are valid by content based on expert’s judgment calculated using Aiken V formula and as many 72 item of valid statement construct from all service units, as well as instruments of all service units stated to have high and very high reliability coefficients so it is feasible to use.

Abstract

Kasus Leptospirosis di Kota Semarang selalu mengalami peningkatan. Puskesmas Bandarharjo adalah Puskesmas yang wilayahnya merupakan zona rawan Leptospirosis. Tahun 2015, di wilayah Puskesmas Bandarharjo ditemukan 22 kasus Leptospirosis, meningkat dari tahun sebelumnya yaitu 14 kasus pada tahun 2014. Kasus Leptospirosis tersebut paling banyak terjadi di Kelurahan Tanjung Mas. Fakta ini menempatkan Puskesmas Bandarharjo tertinggi kasus Leptospirosis di kota Semarang. Wilayah ini termasuk endemis, karena wilayah ini merupakan daerah rawan banjir dan merupakan daerah yang sering terdampak rob (kawasan rob). Banyak genangan air pada musim penghujan maupun akibat rob menyebabkan banyak selokan-selokan yang menggenang, sampah-sampah menumpuk yang menjadi tempat berkembangbiaknya tikus. Studi awal oleh tim pengabdi, diketahui bahwa tingginya kasus penyakit Leptospirosis di wilayah tersebut selain karena faktor lingkungan yang rawan banjir dan rob, juga dipengaruhi oleh perilaku masyarakat yang belum menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Pengetahuan masyarakat yang kurang tentang penyakit Leptospirosis. Penyakit ini penting untuk diketahui secara lengkap oleh masyarakat serta harus mendapatkan prioritas dalam pengendalian dan pemberantasannya terutama menjelang musim hujan tiba dan khususnya pada wilayah-wilayah rawan terjadi banjir. Pembentukan pos informasi Leptospirosis di kawasan terdampak air rob dipilih sebagai bentuk inovasi pola pemberian informasi kepada masyarakat. Pos Informasi Leptospirosis ini sebagai wadah komunikasi dan informasi kesehatan dengan konsep pengembangan masyarakat dalam rangka penanggulangan Leptospirosis di kawasan rawan banjir dan kawasan terdampak air rob. Pos Informasi Leptospirosis menjadi pusat kegiatan penyebaran informasi penyakit Leptospirosis di masyarakat. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan Pos Informasi Leptospirosis telah mampu meningkatkan peran Kader Kesehatan dalam edukasi masyarakat, dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, serta kesadaran masyarakat dalam menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta dapat meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap bahaya penyakit Leptospirosis.

Abstract

Pencak Silat Naga Hitam college is located in Semarang, the athletes come from the elementary, juniorhigh school and senior levels, however athletes rarely included PPLOP of Central Java, whereas this college has long been established and formed. The adultlevel of this college has also minimum achievement from several competitions that have been followed. The TGR art number, athletes from Naga Hitam pencak silat college have never received medals from thechampionships that was followed. The purpose of this research is to: analyze the evaluation of Context, Input, Process and Product of the coaching achievements of the Naga Hitam college performance coaching program in Semarang. The study approach in this research used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis were by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the evaluation of the performance development program of Naga Hitam Semarang pencak silat through evaluation of context, input, process and product can be explained that the management of coaching at the Naga Hitam college in Semarang City has been going well because of a clear vision and mission so that athletes can excel, the program training is carried out quite well, funding, transport is good to support athletes to be able to achieve and seen from the targets achieved by the Semarang City Naga Hitam College as expected in participating in the championship.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine how the contribution of grip strength, arm muscle strength and back muscle strength to the accuracy of long stroke on woodball. This study uses a correlational design with the variables of grip strength, arm muscle strength and back muscle strength to long stroke accuracy. The samples in this study were 25 Central Java woodball athletes using handgrip dynamometer, pull and push dynamometer, back dynamometer and long shot test. The result of this research is that the grip strength contributes 3.1%. Arm muscle strength contributed 13.9%. Back muscle strength contributed 1.5%. Grip strength and arm muscle strength together contributed 13.9%. Grip strength and back muscle strength contributed 48%. Arm muscle strength and back muscle strength together contributed 14%. Grip strength, arm muscle strength and back muscle strength together contributed to long stroke accuracy by 14%.

Abstract

The garbage problem is increasing in line with the increase in population, especially in urban areas. Lifestyle and development impacts exacerbate the garbage problem. Poor management can have an impact on the health of residents, either due to pollution or flooding. The role of housewives in managing sampak at the family level is very important. The purpose of this study was to analyze the determinants of mother behavior in disposing of household garbage in Ternate City, North Maluku Province. This type of research is a quantitative study, using a correlation analytic research design and a cross sectional study design approach. The sample in this study amounted to 100 housewives. The instruments used were questionnaires, observation and checklist sheets. Data analysis This study uses path analysis techniques. The results showed that there was an effect of education on the behavior of mothers in disposing of household garbage in Ternate City, North Maluku Province, p-value of 0.000 <α (0.05). There is no influence of income p-value of 0.255> α (0.05). Cultural p-value is 0.749> α (0.05). And there is a perception effect of p-value of 0.042 <α (0.05). Education through perception is 35.2%, the rest is from other factors. Income through perception is 11.8%. Culture through perception of 31%. The conclusion from the study shows that the education and perception factors are more dominant and directly influence the behavior of mothers in disposing of garbage.

Abstract

Anxiety during immunization is a response shown by toddler during the treatment and it is indicated through mood disorder, that is deep and continually dreadful or worry feelings. The anxiety on the toddler must be overcome well, because it can influence his/her future development, and one way to overcome the anxiety on the toddler is giving media distraction through fairytale reading and audiovisual. The purpose of this research is to know the differences between giving the audiovisual media and the fairytale towards the anxiety level on the toddler during immunization. The research design uses Quasi-Experimental with Two Group Pre-Post Test Design, and the total sample is 94 respondents and they were taken by using consecutive sampling method. The data collection technique uses questionnaire, and in order to analyze the data, this research uses ‘Wicoxon’ and ‘Mann Whitney’ statistic tests. The results of this research were, it was found that the counseling by giving the fairytale reading method was little bit more effective than the audiovisual media, with Mean Rank score of the audiovisual was 51.50 and Mean Rank of the fairytale was 43.50, and the Significance value was 0.026 which was smaller than the significance level ρ <0.05. These two counseling methods could be used to decrease the anxiety level on the toddler during immunization. According to the results above, the average score of giving the fairytale reading was more effective than giving the audiovisual media. It was caused by the distraction effect which was experienced by the toddler during his/her interaction with the fairytale reader was stronger, so it could decrease his/her anxiety level.

Abstract

The prevalence of healthcare associated infections (HAIs) is increasing which caused by higher morbidity and mortality rates. Efforts are made to prevent and control the transmission of disease from patients to health care workers or vice versa is the application of Standard Precautions. This study determined the analysis of standard precautions obedience to prevent HAIs at Nahdlotul Ulama (NU) Demak hospital. This research was a quantitative with cross sectional design. The population were nurses at NU Demak hospital, and based on purposive sampling technique, there were 67 respondents. Data analysis uses Pearson Product Momment and Linear Regression. The results of this study indicate that partially influence of independent variables on standard precautions to prevent HAIs, namely in education (p = 0,000), knowledge (p = 0,000), training (p = 0,000), facility (p = 0,000), support get (p = 0,000) and supervision (p = 0,000). These results indicate that all variables have a positive effect on nurses obedience with standard precautions preventing HAIs at NU Demak hospital. The effect simultaneously gets a p value of 0,000, which means that there is a simultaneous influence of the independent variable on nurses obedience in standard precautions to prevent HAIs.

Abstract

Worm is an infectious disease caused by parasites in the form of worms. Worm infections that are transmitted through soil or commonly referred to as Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) types, namely Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichuira, Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus. The purpose of this study was to analyze internal factors related to the case of worms and have an impact on the nutritional status of children in the roof tile craftsmen area in Karanggeneng Village, Boyolali Regency. This research is a quantitative study, with a cross sectional approach. The research sample was 119 respondents obtained by simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and laboratory tests. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistical tests and linear regression. The results of research in the roof tile craftsmen area of Karanggeneng Village, Boyolali Regency, showed that there was a relationship between the variables of hand washing (p = 0.000), cutting nails (p = 0.000), defecation habits (p = 0.000) on the case of worms. This study also showed that the variable eating habits (p = 0.040) and the case of worms were related to the nutritional status of children (p = 0.007).

Abstract

Abstrak Puskesmas Mlonggo memiliki cakupan pelayanan kesehatan lanjut usia yang mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2016 ke tahun 2017 dan masih tergolong rendah sehingga belum memenuhi target cakupan pelayanan kesehatan yang ditetapkan Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Jepara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan lanjut usia di Puskesmas Mlonggo Kabupaten Jepara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional, dilengkapi kajian kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa kuesioner dan panduan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis bivariat dan kajian kualitatif dalam bentuk narasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aksesibilitas (pvalue = 0,000), keyakinan, dan dukungan keluarga berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan layanan kesehatan lanjut usia di Puskesmas Mlonggo Kabupaten Jepara, sedangkan pendidikan (pvalue = 0,764) dan pekerjaan (pvalue = 0,261) tidak berhubungan. Pihak Puskesmas Mlonggo dapat meningkatkan lagi sosialisasi kepada lansia dan keluarga dari lansia, serta mengadakan layanan kesehatan keliling sehingga dapat menjangkau lansia dengan kendala jarak jauh. Abstract Mlonggo Health Center had a coverage of elderly health services that decreased from 2016 to 2017 and it had not reach the target set by Jepara Regency Health Office. This study aimed to analyze the factors that influence the healthcare services use of elderly in Mlonggo Health Center in Jepara Regency. This research used a quantitative approach with cross sectional design and qualitative study with in-depth interviews. The research sample was 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaire and interview guide, analyzed using bivariate analysis and qualitative studies in the form of narratives. The results showed that accessibility (pvalue = 0,000), beliefs, and family support were associated to the healthcare services use of elderly at Mlonggo Health Center in Jepara Regency, while education (pvalue = 0.764) and employment (pvalue = 0.261) were not associated. Mlonggo Community Health Center can increase the socialization to the elderly and families of the elderly, and providing mobile health services so they can reach the elderly with long-distance problems.

Abstract

The improvement of healthy behavior awareness of teenagers is still a serious concern. There are three major problems in teenage: sexuality, drugs, and addictive substance and sexually transmitted diseases, especially HIV and AIDS. Among steps that can be taken to build teenage awareness to have healthy behavior is by applying Mapping Adolescent Programming and Measurement (MAPM) Framework. The objective of the research is to build an MAPM Framework model and obtaining a description of its effectiveness as an effort to improve teenage awareness of healthy behavior. The research conducted at Walisongo Kedungwuni Islamic Junior High School. Samples are students that have problem as mapped and measured from MAPM.  A non-randomized one group pre-test- post-test design was implemented in this study. The results indicate that attitude towards counseling, cigarette, juvenile delinquency, smoking attitude, attitude towards drugs, and premarital sex after the application of the MAPM positively changed (p-value <0,05). The attitude and behavior of students were improved. Teenage awareness of healthy behavior significantly increases (p value= 0,000) after the application of the MAPM framework. Further discussion will be discussed in the article below.
