Abstract

One phenomenon that has for long haunted workplaces is gender inequality despite the new push for diversity and inclusion. This qualitative work looks at how gender as well as other axes of differentiation like race, class, sexual orientation, and/or disability inform, constrain or produce employees’ experiences of inequality in organizational environment. The study explores organisational factors that put up gender-based differences by focusing on structural relativity, cultural expectation, and polity The study is based on 25 participants from different sectors, focus group interviews, and documents analysis. It will be shown that although most companies have diversity and inclusion policies in effect, these may not be effectively being practiced, and/or that there is a lack of policies that respond to the realities of multiply oppressed persons. Some few of the causes of this marginalization include cultural bias particularly from male dominated organizations. Furthermore, this paper reveals that current workplace policies are still lacking especially on subject like parental leave and promotion policies that continue to perpetuate gender stereotypes at the workplace. Finally, it is imperative for future scholarship to continue the important work of Choo and Diversifying Feminisms, insisting on an intersectional approach at the policy and cultural levels for organizations committed to addressing gender inequality in the workplace. Hence, the discovery advances the existing dialogue on workplace disparities and offer the appropriate guidelines for equality approaches across a range of organizations.

Abstract

Guru merupakan elemen penting dalam dunia pendidikan, oleh sebab itu kerja keras seorang guru sudah sepatutnya diapresiasi, salah satunya dengan mengangkat guru tersebut menjadi guru tetap, dan berhak memperoleh imbalan dan jaminan kesejahteraan, akan tetapi kenyataan dilapangan banyak guru PJOK yang belum diangkat sebagai guru tetap di lembaga pendidikan, terutama guru PJOK di kecamatan Modo yang menunaikan tugas keprofeisannya di SD/MI, sehingga banyak guru PJOK yang berstatus GTT (Guru Tidak Tetap) sengaja merangkap bekerja dari satu lembaga ke lebaga yang lainnya. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui motivasi kerja guru PJOK tidak tetap (GTT) SD/MI di kecamatan Modo. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan selama tiga bulan berturut-turut agar teruji keabsahan datanya. Indikator motivasi yang digunakan adalah teori kebutuhan oleh Gibson dkk, dengan hasil motif eksistensi yang mana guru PJOK rela berpindah tempat mengajar demi memenuhi kebutuhan pokoknya. Ke dua merupakan kebutuhan sosial karena dengan mengajar sebagai guru PJOK di berbagai lembaga pendidikan dasar akan memperbanyak relasi yang menguntungkan mereka, dan yang ke tiga adalah kebutuhan untuk berkembang yang mana dengan menjadi guru PJOK mereka dapat bermanfaat untuk peserta didiknya dan mampu mengembangkan keahlian mereka.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop training media in improving the ability of fighting techniques in Tarung Derajat extracurricular activities. Tarung This research was first validated by material experts and media experts. The product trial was carried out on extracurricular fighting students at SMA Plus Sedayu Nusantara with a population of 25 students. Small group test of 7 students, and large group test of 18 students. Type of data collection with a questionnaire instrument. The method used is Research and Development (R&D). The results showed that the developed tools were feasible. These results were obtained from the validation of (a) material experts by 92% or very feasible; (b) media expert of 91.4 or very decent; (c) small group trial of 81.6% or feasible; (d) large group trial of 92.8% or Very Eligible. Thus, the product produced in this development is a tarung bag. This training tool has been declared suitable to be used as a training medium in improving the ability of fighting techniques in Tarung Derajat extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh penilaian kinerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 154 orang pegawai Kantor Otban Wilayah III Surabaya. Teknik analisis data yang   digunakan yaitu persamaan struktural (SEM). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variable penilaian kinerja, kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penilaian kinerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, motivasi kerja dapat memediasi pengaruh penilaian kinerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Informasi meteorologi diperlukan operator penerbangan untuk mendukung pesawat saat penerbangan, lepas landas, dan mendarat di landasan pacu. Operator penerbangan perlu memahami variasi unsur cuaca permukaan diurnal meliputi suhu udara permukaan, tekanan udara permukaan, dan gaya angkat pesawat untuk mendukung aktivitas penerbangan. Penelitian ini menganalisis variasi diurnal gaya angkat pesawat di Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta selama periode bulan Januari-Desember tahun 2020. Pengolahan data pengamatan AWOS dilakukan secara statistik dengan perhitungan analisis bivariat secara deskriptif. Airbus A320 merupakan pesawat yang dipilih untuk menghitung gaya angkat pesawat di landasan pacu 11 dan 29. Suhu udara tertinggi sekitar 29,7°C terjadi pada pukul 06.00 UTC dan terendah sekitar 24,5°C pada pukul 23.00 UTC. Tekanan udara permukaan tertinggi sekitar 1.010,8 hPa terjadi pada pukul 02.00 UTC dan terendah sekitar 1.007,2 hPa pada pukul 09.00 UTC. Gaya angkat pesawat tertinggi sekitar 12.853 N terjadi pada pukul 23.00 UTC dan terendah sekitar 10.527 N pada pukul 06.00 UTC. Kondisi dan waktu terbaik untuk melakukan pendaratan dan lepas landas pada pukul 13.00-23.00 UTC saat terjadi gaya angkat maksimum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training using dempel weights on the speed of front kicks of PSHT fighters in Rayon MTs AL-Khaeriyah NW Semoyang. The main problem in this study is the low front kick speed shown by athletes during training and matches. The type of research used is an experiment with a descriptive quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttes design. The population of this study were adolescent pencak silat athletes. The techniques used in data collection are tests and measurements. The instrument used is Pacing pad / sandak. The results of data analysis show an increase in the average value from 20.5 in the pretest to 28.5 in the posttest. 1 athlete scored 14% poorly, no athletes scored 0% poorly, 5 athletes scored 72% fair, 1 athlete scored 14% good and no athletes scored 0% good. The t test produces a t count of 22.362, greater than the t table of 3.588 which means there is a significant influence between training using dempel weights on front kick speed. It is concluded that training using dempe weights can significantly improve the physical abilities and performance of front kicks of pencak silat athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to reallocate and refocus village funds for the preventionof Covid-19 in Pancuran Gading Village using William Dunn's 5 evaluation models, whatis the impact of reallocating and refocusing village funds for direct village cashassistance in Pancuran Gading Village and how the contribution of direct cashassistance funds for the prevention of Covid-19 in Pancuran Gading Village. In this studyusing qualitative methods with the type of case study. Data collection techniques usinginterview techniques, observation and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data,triangulation was carried out, namely source triangulation, technical triangulation andtime triangulation. Informants in this study were village heads, village secretaries, villagetreasurers, hamlet heads, community leaders and BLT recipients. Data analysis is doneby reducing data, presenting data and making conclusions. The results of this studyindicate that in terms of effectiveness, the budget refocusing policy has not been effectivein dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. In terms of adequacy, the refocusing ofthe budgeted funds has not been sufficient in terms of various factors, especially the KUAPPAS which has been evaluated showing a deficit. In terms of equity, the reallocation ofthe budget through APBD refocusing has been carried out in stages with an evenallocation of the budget to all units of the COVID-19 task force as well as social netprovider programs. Viewed from responsiveness, the APBD budget refocusing programreceived several responses from the public, both positive and distorted responses, inwhich many people consider the Covid-19 budget to be used as a tool for budget politics.Judging from the accuracy, the use of funds that have been centralized through theunexpected expenditure budget has been maximized in order to achieve the desiredbudget reallocation target. For the contribution of BLT funds during the Covid-19pandemic, it does not provide financial guarantees for families, it's just that these fundscan help them with financial matters, both used for savings and for health. Keywords: Dana Desa, Realokasi, Refocusing, Covid-19

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the educational background of madrasah principals and the training they have attended, with the management of change and the excellence of the madrasahs they manage. Based on a literature review, there is a relationship between the educational background of madrasah principals and the training they have attended, with the quality and quality of the management of the madrasahs they lead. This study aims to provide data analysis related to the relationship between the quality of madrasah principals based on their educational background and the training they have attended; with the excellence and quality of the madrasahs they manage. This study used a library research method. This research falls into the qualitative category, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written words. Based on the results of this study, data was obtained that the ability of the madrasah principal in improving the excellence of human resources in the madrasah he manages, his ability to innovate, the excellence of the madrasah, improving the quality of the curriculum, and the excellence of student achievement are directly related to the quality of a principal. The ability of the principal is determined by his educational background and how often he conducts training to upgrade his competence.

Abstract

In controlling and improving the caliber of organizational services, audit is essential, especially when it comes to reducing potentially dangerous dangers. However, ending audit processes too soon might lower audit quality and increase the chance of mistakes that could be harmful to the company. With quality control acting as a moderating variable, the objective of this research is to assess the effects of monitoring, audit risk, and professional ethics on the premature termination of audit procedures. Auditors working for public accounting firms in Pekanbaru and Medan made up the study's population; a questionnaire was used to choose 42 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results reveal that audit risk positively and significantly effects the early termination of audit procedures, while supervision and professional ethics have a negative and significant impact. Furthermore, while quality control does mitigate the association between professional ethics and premature audit procedure termination, it does not moderate the relationship between supervisory activities and audit risk.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat, khususnya siswa MI NW Taman, melalui program pembelajaran tradisional dengan menggunakan media Pop-Up Book berbasis gambar. Tujuan dari program ini adalah menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter kepada siswa MI NW Taman melalui cerita rakyat NTB. Metode pelaksanaan program ini melibatkan observasi persiapan program, sosialisasi, penyusunan Pop-Up Book, pengawasan pembelajaran, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan kognitif siswa terkait pendidikan karakter dan minat baca. Selain itu, penggunaan media Pop-Up Book sebagai alat pembelajaran yang efektif dan interaktif di MI NW Taman telah memberikan hasil positif. Para siswa dapat mengenal dan memahami nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dari cerita rakyat yang disampaikan melalui Pop-Up Book. ABSTRACT This community service program aims to assist the community, especially the students of MI NW Taman, through a traditional learning initiative using image-based Pop-Up Books. The goal of this program is to instill character education values in MI NW Taman students through folk stories from NTB. The implementation method involves observing program preparations, socializing, creating Pop-Up Books, overseeing learning sessions, and conducting monitoring and evaluation. The results of this community service activity indicate an increase in students' cognitive abilities related to character education and reading interest. Additionally, the use of Pop-Up Books as an effective and interactive teaching tool at MI NW Taman has yielded positive outcomes. Students can now recognize and understand the character education values conveyed through folk stories presented in the Pop-Up Books.
