Abstract

In business, there must be some information that is confidential, has economic value and is kept confidential by the business owner. This confidential information is called a trade secret. The concept of trade secrets is more related to the legal protection of valuable business information, such as product formulas, product designs, recipes, production methods, or customer data. The method used in this study is the normative legal research method, namely library legal research based on legal materials. The results of this study indicate that Trade Secrets are information that is not known to the public in the field of technology and/or business, has economic value because it is useful in business activities, and is kept confidential by the owner of the Trade Secret. A trade secret will receive protection if it meets the requirements, namely: 1) It is confidential, 2) It has economic value, 3) There are efforts to maintain confidentiality. According to the Islamic view, trade rights, copyright, trade secrets and non-material rights which have economic value are equivalent to material rights which are protected by sharia. Islam really respects and protects property which is a form of a person's ownership. Islam provides protection for individual rights regarding al-mal in the concept of al-masalih al-khamsah (five maslahah that must be safeguarded) which is included in the category of hifdz al-mal (protecting property). This is stated in the holy verses of the Qur'an and authentic hadiths which state that trade secrets are property rights that must be protected, so that anyone who leaks trade secrets to other people is violating the rules of Islam.

Abstract

Improper management of disposable diaper waste remains a persistent environmental concern, especially in rural areas where public awareness and infrastructure are limited. Previous studies have often overlooked community-based educational interventions focused on diaper waste processing. This study aims to improve community knowledge on waste separation and disposable diaper waste management through a targeted empowerment program in Kelurahan Tamalabba, South Sulawesi. Conducted as part of the CSR initiative of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Makassar, the program involved 20 residents of RW 4 and employed a combination of socialization, interactive discussions, and hands-on training. Baseline data revealed only 20% of participants had good knowledge of diaper waste handling. Following the intervention, this figure increased to 75%, indicating a substantial improvement. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of hydrothermal technology as a feasible solution for diaper waste processing in rural settings, while simultaneously emphasizing the role of participatory education in fostering environmental responsibility. These findings highlight the potential of localized CSR-supported programs to enhance public health outcomes by addressing unmanaged sanitary waste in underserved areas.

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to explore and analyze the socio-economic dynamics of street vendors at the Putri Kaca Mayang tourist attraction. This research uses an economic sociology approach to understand social interactions and economic factors that influence street vendors. Qualitative research methods were used with in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The results of this research provide a deeper understanding of the socio-economic dynamics of street vendors at the Putri Kaca Mayang tourist attraction. Business location, government regulations, and consumer behavior are the main things that influence their socio-economic conditions. Factors such as infrastructure, government regulations and consumer behavior have a crucial role in determining the income and business continuity of street vendors at the Putri Kaca Mayang tourist attraction. Keywords: Street Vendors, Socio-Economic Dynamics, Tourist Attraction Putri Kaca Mayang Pekanbaru Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan menganalisis dinamika sosial ekonomi pedagang kaki lima di objek wisata Putri Kaca Mayang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi ekonomi untuk memahami interaksi sosial dan faktor ekonomi yang memengaruhi pedagang kaki lima. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman lebih dalam tentang dinamika sosial ekonomi pedagang kaki lima di Objek Wisata Putri Kaca Mayang. Lokasi usaha, regulasi pemerintah, dan perilaku konsumen menjadi hal utama yang memengaruhi kondisi sosial ekonomi mereka.  Adapun faktor-faktor seperti infrastruktur, peraturan pemerintah, dan perilaku konsumen memiliki peran krusial dalam menentukan pendapatan dan kelangsungan usaha pedagang kaki lima di Objek Wisata Putri Kaca Mayang. Kata Kunci: Pedagang Kaki Lima, Dinamika Sosial Ekonomi, Objek Wisata Putri Kaca Mayang Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research aims to design and test a speed measurement system for a three-phase induction motor based on the Arduino Uno. Three-phase induction motors are widely used in industrial applications due to their reliability, high efficiency, and ease of maintenance. However, these motors have some drawbacks, such as low starting torque and difficulty in speed control, which can lead to instability in operation. Therefore, this study develops an Arduino Uno based control system capable of regulating the speed of a three-phase induction motor by adjusting the frequency of its electrical supply. This type of research is quantitative, employing an experimental method. The results indicate that the speed measurement system can improve the stability and operational efficiency of the three-phase induction motor. The use of a speed sensor aligned with the motor's rotor allows the system to respond to load changes in real-time, maintaining a constant speed and reducing energy consumption. Abstract

Aliran permukaan lantai beton adalah air yang mengalir di atas permukaan lantai beton, Makin miring permukaan lantai beton, makin besar pula alirannya, Selain kemiringan salah satu faktor yang dapat memperbesar aliran permukaan adalah curah hujan. Dalam penelitian ini menghitung besaran nilai debit limpasan (Q) dengan intensitas 117,5420 mm/jam pada plat beton berpori. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental laboratorium dengan alat rainfall simulator. Pengujian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini meliputi permeabilitas, intensitas hujan dan pengujian nilai debit limpasan (Q).Dalam penelitian debit limpasan semakin besar intensitas maka semakin besar aliran permukaan. Intensitas hujan mempengaruhi laju dan volume aliran permukaan. Pada hujan dengan intensitas tinggi kapasitas air infiltrasi akan terlampaui sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya aliran permukaan cukup besar. Hasil penelitian di atas dengan menggunakan intensitas 117,5420 mm/jam dengan hujan sangat lebat dengan tiga sampel yang digunakan didapatkan debit limpasan akibat beton pori dengan sampel 1 sebesar 0,0282 dan sampel dua sebesar 0,0378 sedangan sampel tiga sebesar 0,0410. Abstract

This thesis discusses the implementation of fuzzy logic techniques in managing the behavior of non-playable characters (NPC) in a game with online multiplayer features that utilize the Photon platform. Games with online multiplayer modes have become very popular, but managing NPC behavior in a multiplayer context is often a complex challenge, requiring high adaptability to changes in the environment and player behavior. This research describes the process of implementing fuzzy logic on NPCs to improve interactivity and player experience. in multiplayer online games. There are three main components in this study: the NPC behavior model, the selection of relevant environmental variables, and the design of fuzzy rules for decision making. In addition, this thesis also describes the integration of Photon technology as a multiplayer platform, which allows players to interact in real-time in the game.The experimental and evaluation results show that the use of fuzzy logic in managing NPC behavior in multiplayer online games can increase the level of realism in player interactions with NPC characters. This makes a positive contribution to the player's gaming experience and results in a more challenging and exciting gameplay in an online multiplayer context. This research provides valuable insights into the use of fuzzy logic in online multiplayer games as well as the integration of Photon as an effective multiplayer platform.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kasus kekerasan seksual di bidang pendidikan menjadikan sivitas akademika Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) perlu melakukan sebuah tindakan, salah satunya dengan membentuk badan yang dapat mencegah dan menangani kekerasan seksual di Universitas Syiah Kuala. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan BEM USK, BEM FISIP USK, dan UP3AI dalam mencegah dan menangani kekerasan seksual, untuk mengetahui faktor yang mendorong dan menghambat pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan seksual di Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peran dari BEM USK meliputi menangani kasus kekerasan seksual di tingkat USK, mensosialisasikan tentang kekerasan seksual, dan mendorong terciptanya satgas pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan seksual di USK. Sementara itu bidang perlindungan mahasiswa BEM FISIP USK berperan dalam menyediakan pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan seksual di FISIP USK dengan bekerja sama dengan LSM Flower, dan menyediakan penanganan terhadap laki-laki yang manjadi korban kekerasan seksual khusus mahasiswa FISIP USK. Sementara itu UP3AI berperan dalam segi pencegehan kekerasan seksual berupa membentuk karaktek mahasiswa USK melalui mentor UP3AI menyampaikan kepada adik-adik asuhnya dengan selalu menekankan untuk tidak berpacaran, menjaga jarak komunikasi dengan lawan jenis, memakai pakaian yang sopan, rapi dan tertutup, serta menekankan untuk tidak boleh merokok, UP3AI juga selalu UP3AI mensosialisasikan pentingnya mengikuti pendidikan pada tingkat perkuliahan seperti disaat pakarmaru, subuh education, maupun pada kajian-kajian. Sehingga dengan adanya pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan seksual di USK dapat menekan laju perkembangan kekerasan di USK dengan baik.

Abstract

On the persentation of information which was presented by SMK SATRIA Jambi was still using the conventional method, This information was obtained from particular medias or straight to the scholl. With the result that infomation conveyed effective and efisition. Based on that case a web base information system program was designed. It is expected through this system, the ineffectiveness and the shortcoming in term of information system which exists can be minimized can be easly accessed by people who want to know the information which in SMK SATRIA Jambi as well as the new candidate of new students who will enroll at SMK SATRIA Jambi will make them easier by only filling the given form. The method used in the development of the system is the Waterfall method. While the system modeling tools used by the author is the Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams. The programming language used in the design of the SMK Satria Jambi Website is using php and MySQL DBMS. With the programming language that can facilitate the development of the website at SMK Satria Jambi. Being able to facilitate the school in informing profile, achievements, and various other important activities of the school and overcome the old system.
