Abstract

This research aims to develop student worksheet and describe its characteristics and validity as well as to describe the teachers and students responses to the product. This research used Borg and Gall design of research and development with only focused on the first five stage. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics analysis. The expert validation showed that the average percentage on content suitability aspect was 93.20% with very high criteria, while construction, and readability aspects were 76.00%, and 76.40% respectively with high criteria. The teachers responses on suitability, readability, and attractiveness aspects were 100.00%, 89.00%, and 94.00%, respectively with very high criteria. While students responses on readability and attractiveness were 85.48% and 89.40%, respectively with very high criteria. Based on these results, the product generated by this research is valid and worthy as sources of learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS dan mendeskripsikan karakteristik dan validitas LKS, serta mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Borg dan Gall dengan hanya berfokus pada lima tahap pertama. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif. Validasi ahli menunjukan bahwa rata-rata persentase aspek kesesuaian isi sebesar 93,20% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi, sedangkan aspek konstruksi, dan keterbacaan berturut-turut sebesar 76,00%, dan 76,40% dengan kriteria tinggi. Tanggapan guru pada aspek kesesuaian isi dengan kurikulum, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan berturut-turut sebesar 100,00%, 89,00%, dan 94,00% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Serta tanggapan siswa pada aspek keterbacaan dan kemenarikan berturut-turut sebesar 85,48% dan 89,40% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media belajar.Kata kunci: ikatan kimia, LKS, representasi kimia

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning to improve the flexibility thinking skill on colloidal matery.  The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung even semester 2012-2013 school year and class XI IPA2 and IPA3 as samples.  This research used purposive sampling method with quasi-experimental non equivalent control group design.  Effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model was measured by the n-Gain significant difference.  The results showed then-Gainaverage of flexibility thinking skill for the experimental class and control class were 0.59 and 0.46.  Based on hypothesis test using t-test, concluded that guided inquiry learning model was effective in improving the flexibility thinking skill on colloidal matery.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir fleksibel pada materi koloid.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri7 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun ajaran 2012-2013 dengan kelas XI IPA2 dan kelas XI IPA3 sebagai sampel.  Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan Non equivalent Control Group Design.  Efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing diukur berdasarkan perbedaan n-Gain yang signifikan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata n-Gain keterampilan berpikir fleksibel untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu 0,59 dan 0,46.  Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t, didapat kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir fleksibel pada materi koloid.Kata kunci : inkuiri terbimbing, keterampilan berpikir fleksibel, koloid

Abstract

This research aims to produce science process skills based assessment (PPP) on the material factors that affect the chemical equilibrium in the form of questions and multiple-choice test essay. The research method used is the Research and Development (Research and Development). Research subjects is. assessment development based science process skills on material factors affecting chemical equilibrium. Limited testing result that assessment based on material science process skills the factors that affect these chemical equilibria are based on aspects of suitability, skill-based assessment is the process of science is in accordance with the SK-KD and can measure indicators of students' science process skills. Science process skills based assessment has a high level of kemenarikan. Science process skills based assessment has a very high level of legibility. Abstract

This research purposed to (1) develop interactive e-book on reaction rate based on chemical representation, (2) describe characteristics of the interactive e-book as development product, (3) describe teachers and students responses of the interactive e-book as development product, (4) know the obstacles faced, and (5) know the supporting factors during the process of developing interactive e-book. The research used Research and Development (RD) method. The characteristics of interactive e-book developed was completed by pictures, animations, and videos which involving macroscopic, submicroscopic, and symbolic level. Based on the teachers and students responses of the interactive e-book, it were obtained that the percentage on aspects of the contents suitability, graphically, and readability were 98.46%; 97.00%; and 90.37%, respectively which categorized in very good.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan e-book interaktif pada materi laju reaksi berbasis representasi kimia, (2) mendeskripsikan karakteristike-book interaktif sebagai hasil pengembangan, (3) mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru kimia dan siswa terhadap e-book interaktif sebagai hasil pengembangan, (4) mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi, dan (5) mengetahui faktor pendukung dalam proses pengembangan e-book interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). Karakteristik dari e-book interaktif yang dikembangkan yaitu dilengkapi dengan gambar, animasi, dan video yang mencakup level makroskopis, submikroskopis, dan simbolik. Berdasarkan hasil tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap e-book interaktif , diperoleh persentase pada aspek kesesuaian isi, grafika, dan keterbacaan sebesar 98,46%; 97%; dan 90,37% yang semuanya dikategorikan sangat baik. Abstract

This quasi experimental research with 2x2 factorial design was aimed to describe interaction between the use of students worksheets and cognitive ability to students Science Process Skills (SPS); students SPS with high and low cognitive ability. Population on this research were students of grade X in odd semester at SMAN 6 Metro in the academic year 2016/2017, with X.6 and X.7as researchs sample that obtained by purposive sampling technique. Instruments used were students worksheets based SPS and conventional, pretest and posttest questions, and attitude assessment sheets. Data analysis techniques used were two path anova test and t-test. The result of hypothesis test showed that there was no interaction between the use of students worksheets and cognitive ability to students SPS; high and low cognitive ability students SPS that used students worksheets based SPS were higher than conventional students worksheets; and high cognitive ability students SPS were not significantly different with low cognitive ability using students worksheets based SPS.Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2 ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan interaksi antara penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dengan kemampuan kognitif terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) siswa; KPS siswa kemampuan kognitif tinggi dan rendah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017, dengan kelas X.6 dan X.7 sebagai sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah LKS berbasis KPS dan konvensional, soal pretes dan postes, serta lembar penilaian sikap. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji anova dua jalur dan uji-t. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada interaksi antara penggunaan LKS dengan kemampuan kognitif terhadap KPS siswa; KPS siswa kemampuan kognitif tinggi dan rendah menggunakan LKS berbasis KPS lebih tinggi daripada LKS konvensional; dan KPS siswa kemampuan kognitif tinggi tidak berbeda signifikan dengan kemampuan kognitif rendah pada penggunaan LKS berbasis KPS.Kata kunci: hukum-hukum dasar kimia, kemampuan kognitif, KPS, LKS

Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to describe students' collaborative skills of waste cooking oil recycling project-based learning. The method used is a weak experimental design with the one-shot case study. The population of this research was the students in grade XI MIA at one of the senior high school in Bandar Lampung. The research sample was students of class XI MIA 6, which was obtained by purposive sampling technique. The data in this research collected by non-test instruments in the form of an observation sheet. The results was contributing actively indicators 68.88% well categorized, working productively indicators is 74.95% categorized well, flexibilities and compromise indicators is 80.73% categorized very well, the indicators of improving the project is 78.88% categorized as good, the indicators of showing an attitude of respect is 89.18% very well categorized and the indicators showing responsibility is 90% very well categorized.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berkolaborasi siswa pada pembelajaran berbasis proyek daur ulang minyak jelantah (PBPDUMJ). Metode penelitian yang digunakan weak eksperimental dengan desain the one-shot case study. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA di SMA Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung. Sampel penelitiannya siswa kelas XI MIA 6, diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan instrumen nontes berupa lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian indikator berkontribusi secara aktif sebesar 68,88% berkatagori baik, indikator bekerja secara produktif sebesar 74,95% berkatagori baik, indikator menunjukkan fleksibilitas dan kompromi sebesar 80,73% berkatagori sangat baik, indikator mengelola proyek dengan baik sebesar 78,88% berkatagori baik, indikator menunjukkan sikap menghargai sebesar 89.18% berkatagori sangat baik dan indikator menunjukkan tanggungjawab sebesar 90% berkatagori sangat baik.Kata kunci: keterampilan berkolaborasi, daur ulang minyak jelantah, pembelajaran berbasis proyek

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe effectiveness of problem solving learning model in solubility and solubility product concept to enhance expressing causal claim and negation skills. Students who became the subject of this research was  XI grade of Science 1 Batanghari Senior High School in Batanghari academic year 2011/2012. This research used the pre-experimental method and one group pretest-posttest design.  The effectiveness of problem solving learning model was determined based on the average value of n-Gain.  The results of this research showed that the average value of n-Gain of expressing causal claim and negation skills were 0,398 and 0,704. Thus, it can be concluded that the problem solvinglearning model in solubility and solubility product concept effective to enhance  expressing causal claim in medium category and effective to enhance  expressing negation skill in high category.Keywords: problem solving, expressing causal claim skill and expressing    negation skill.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness problem-based learning of pollution by detergent waste (PBMPLD) to improve students’ creative thinking skills.  The population of this research was all students from XI MIA one of Senior High School in Bandarlampung, the sample research were XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 class that obtained by purposive sampling technique.  The research used quasi-experiment with the maching only desaign in pretest-postest and control group.  The data analysis technique used was parametric statistic test using t-test to postestt value.  The result showed that the average posttest of creative thinking skill of experiment class is significantly higher than the average of control class posttest.  The average n-gain in the experimental class is moderate category.  Therefore, it is concluded that the PBMPLD  is effective in enhancing the creative thinking skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis masalah pencemaran oleh limbah detergen (PBMPLD) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA salah satu SMA di Bandarlampung, dengan sampel penelitian kelas XI MIA 1 dan XI MIA 2 yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain the matching only pretest-posttest control group.  Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji statistik parametrik menggunakan uji t terhadap nilai postes.  Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata postes keterampilan berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada rata-rata postes kelas kontrol.  n-gain rata-rata dikelas eksperimen berkategori sedang.  Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa  PBMPLD efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif.Kata kunci: keterampilan berpikir kreatif, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, pencemaran oleh limbah detergen

Abstract

This research aimed to develop animation media about the solvent based on the value of divinity and environmental awareness material.  This research method was Research and Development, which consists of three steps: 1) preliminary studies, 2) product development and 3) describe the responses of the teachers and students towards the product.  From the teachers responses, the developed animation media has very high content suitability aspect that is 92,20%.  From the students responses, the developed animation media has very high readability and interested of the design aspect that is 80,25%.  From the responses obtained, so it can be concluded that the developed animation media has very well criteria. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media animasi materi sifat larutan berbasis nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan.  Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan, yang terdiri dari tiga tahap: 1) studi pendahuluan, 2) pengembangan produk dan 3) mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap produk.  Tanggapan guru, media animasi yang dikembangkan memiliki aspek kesesuaian isi yang sangat tinggi yaitu 80,25%.  Dari tanggapan yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media animasi yang dikembangkan ini memiliki kriteria sangat baik.                                                                                                      Kata kunci:cinta lingkungan, media animasi, nilai ketuhanan, sifat larutan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was describe the effectiveness of discovery learning to increase differentiating ability on electrolyte and non-electrolyte topic. This research used two classes as control and experimental class which they were obtained from five classes of the 10th grade at SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung for 2014/2015 academic year by using purposive sampling. The method of this research was quasi experiment with non equivalent pretest-postest control group design. The results showed that the average n-Gain of students differentiating ability in control and experiment class 0.63 and 0.78 respectively. The effectiveness of discovery learning was indicated from differences significantly of the average n-Gain in the control and experimental class. Therefore, it was concluded that discovery learning was effective to increase differentiating ability on electrolyte and non-electrolyte topic.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas discovery learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membedakan pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas sebagai kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang diperoleh dari lima kelas X di SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan purposive sampling. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent pretest-postest control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata n-Gain kemampuan membedakan pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen berturut-turut 0,63 dan 0,78. Efektivitas discovery learning ditunjukkan dari perbedaan rata-rata n-Gain yang signifikan pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen.
