Abstract

Education services from tertiary institutions have applied a lot of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD). In the research on heuristic evaluation in the Academic Information System of Brawijaya University, there were several problems related to users, including problems in the ease of users to interact or use applications, SIAKAD Desktop which did not provide information to the user about the condition of a process within a certain time period or time. On the other hand, universities must guarantee the best service. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the acceptance of SIAKAD Desktop users to find out what factors can affect the use of Desktop SIAKAD. UTAUT as a theoretical model will be used to explore the acceptance and use of the technological environment, especially for SIAKAD users in the academic section of the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya. The data that has been collected will then be analyzed using the Partial Least Square Sequence Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) method. The results of the analysis show that only the conditions of the facilities significantly influence the behavior of using SIAKAD Desktop. The UTAUT model can only explain 44.8% of the factor variants using SIAKAD Desktop which is included in the moderate category. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a research model construct construct so that the prediction of the variance accuracy of the research model increases. In addition, it is expected that further research can cover a wider population target so that data is more reliable.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the results of needs analysis in development e-module using the four-d model in computer systems subjects and explains the results of measuring the success rate of implementing e-modules using the four-d model in computer systems subjects. E-Module is a type of digital learning media that is arranged systematically and attractively by utilizing electronic devices. The method used is research and development or the R&D four-d model. The model research four-d consists of four stages of development, including (1) definition, (2) design, (3) development, and (4) dissemination. The subjects of this study were students of 10th grade majoring in 1st Computer and Network Engineering at Vocational High School 3 Malang, while the research instruments used were validation e-module sheets, pre-test and post-test question sheets, assessment sheets, and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it was found that: (1) In developing e-module products, researchers have adjusted to the characteristics of students who find it difficult to understand theoretical material, especially in computer systems subjects. So that the presentation of content e-module is in the form of text, images, and videos to make it easier for students to learn the material independently. (2) The results of measuring the success rate of application e-module through the Paired Sample T-Test by comparing the pre-test and post-test results, namely a significance value of 0.000. The acquisition of a significance value that is less than 0.05 means that there are differences in learning outcomes before and after using the e-module.Keywords. development, e-module, computer systems, Four-D models

Abstract

Sebuah organisasi harus memiliki kesiapan teknologi untuk mengakuisisi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang mendukung misi-misinya. Apabila Pemerintah Kabupaten Malang dikonsepkan sebagai sebuah organisasi yang terdiri dari beberapa sistem, maka kesiapan setiap sistem harus dipastikan terlebih dahulu apakah siap untuk mendukung akuisisi TIK atau tidak.Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) yang sudah terlebih dahulu memiliki kegiatan operasional yang didukung TIK akan memudahkan dalam pengelolaan TIK yang yang lebih baik dalam rangka menuju tatakelola yang baik (good governance) dan eksekusi program Smart City. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan kerangka e-Readiness menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah Kabupaten Malang memiliki kesiapan teknologi berkategori tinggi sehingga dapat disimpulkan pemerintahan tersebut dapat mengimplementasikan program Smart City. Rekomendasi yang dapat dirumuskan agar implementasi program Smart City berjalan dengan baik adalah Pemerintah Kabupaten Malang perlu merumuskan perencanaan strategisbagaimana cara memantau kondisi operasional implementasi TIK pada masing-masing OPD secara rutin. Abstract

Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil di Kota Malang merupakan dinas pemerintahan yang bertugas melakukan pendataan terkait kependudukan dan pencatatan sipil pada Kota Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kaabilitas pengelolaan strategi dan pengelolaan portfolio Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Proses pada kerangka kerja COBIT 5 yang digunakan sebagai kriteria evaluasi adalah Manage Strategy (APO02) dan Manage Portfolio (APO05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa APO02 dan APO05 saat ini berada pada level 1 dan memiliki tingkat kapabilitas harapan sebesar 3. Rekomendasi yang diberikan pada APO02 adalah perlu medokumentasikan proses perencanaan dan pemantauan kinerja TIK organisasi. Pada APO05 perlu membuat dokumentasi portfolio TIK. Abstract

Competition between companies especially in e-commerce is increasingly fierce nowadays. ABC.com is a website that provides marketplace service, by providing better website it can improve service for their customer. This study aim to identify and prioritize factors that affect marketplace quality at ABC.com. The research approach used is quantitative approach with descriptive analysis. Sample selected from the population of user who have ABC.com account that amount to total 1.700..000 registered user  Sampling method used is convenience sampling that provide 109 respondent. Data collection is done through a questionnaire and provide factors that affect marketplace namely usability, information quality, service interaction quality, and user satisfaction. These factors is in the high category especially in indicator transaction and information security that placed in the A quadrant. While other indicators like performance, timeliness, purchase satisfaction and experience satisfaction placed in low priority (C quadrant). Recommendation for this study are ABC.com should increase their transaction process, information security and performance to obtain customer satisfaction in purchase activities that drive experience satisfaction.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar, gaya belajar, dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran Dasar Desain Grafis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian expost facto. Pengambilan data minat belajar dan gaya belajar menggunakan kuesioner dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif menggunakan tes. Data hasil belajar didapatkan dari nilai akhir siswa pada akhir tahun. Sampel berjumlah 50 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan minat belajar, gaya belajar, dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai signifikasi 0,02.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning process was carried out remotely in each home using a learning platform that had been determined by the school. In the current situation to support the quality of the student learning process at home, a good family environment is needed so that students get good learning outcomes. Distance learning can also affect student interest in learning, due to the lack of interaction and lack of socialization between teachers and students, and many other factors affect student interest in learning. So the researcher wants to calculate how the influence of the family environment and student interest in learning during the pandemic period on the learning outcomes of class X RPL students of SMK Negeri 9 Malang in Basic Programming subjects. This study uses quantitative research along with correlational methods with a sample of 101 students of class X RPL SMK Negeri 9 Malang. The research data obtained comes from the results of distributed questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used is the regression test, correlation test, T-test and F test using SPSS 25 software. From the research that has been done, the results are (1) there is an influence by the family environment on student learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.047 < 0.05 , (2) interest in learning affects learning outcomes with a significance value obtained at 0.001 < 0.05, (3) family environment and interest in learning simultaneously affect student learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Nowadays, Learning Management System (LMS) is widely used to support the learning process. LMS becomes a medium of interaction between students and teachers. Poor usability and user experience (UX) of an LMS can make students spend more time learning the system than learning the educational content. Therefore, usability and user experience evaluation are important for e-learning. Edmodo and Google Classroom are two widely used LMS. This study involved students as inspectors to compare the user experience of Edmodo versus Google Classroom using Technique for User Experience Evaluation in E-learning (TUXEL). Inspectors divided into two groups: one group inspected Edmodo and another group inspected Google Classroom. After completing the inspection, the inspectors were asked to fill three questionnaires: usability inspection, general LMS / pedagogical usability inspection, and user experience. The data then processed and analyzed per category per dimension. The results of the overall general usability and pedagogical usability inspections show fewer problematic aspects in Edmodo (22 items) than Google Classroom (30 items). However, Google Classroom seems to be preferred by students because it is simpler, practical and, more comfortable. Edmodo is recommended for distance learning since it has more features. While Google Classroom is more suitable to be used as a support or complement for a learning course.

Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa dapat diketahui dengan tes. Dilihat dari survei internasional pada tahun 2018 (PISA), negara Indonesia menempati nilai terendah di Dunia karena soal yang digunakan masih belum mengukur Higher Order Thinking Skillls (HOTS). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan tes dengan bentuk soal pilihan ganda dan uraian yang menggunakan indikator HOTS pada ranah kognitif seperti menganalisis (C4), mengevaluasi (C5), dan mencipta (C6). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode research and development (R&D) dengan model formative research dari Tessmer, yang terdiri dari 4 tahap pengembangan yaitu preliminary¸ self evaluation, protoyping, dan field test. Hasil tahap preliminary yaitu telah menentukan subjek dan tempat penelitian yang berada di SMK Negeri 12 Malang, namun pelaksanaan pengujian dilakukan secara daring karena adanya Pandemi COVID-19. Tahap self evaluation menghasilkan desain soal yang disebut dengan prototype I. Tahap Prototyping menghasilkan soal yang telah diperbaiki pada uji ahli dan uji one-to-one yang disebut dengan prototype II, pada Uji small group tidak terdapat perbaikan karena mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta didik. Hasil pengujian field test yaitu terkumpul data sebanyak 29 orang, lalu dilakukan penskoran dan analisis kualitas soal. Hasil analisis kognitif peserta didik memiliki rata-rata cukup baik, sedangkan hasil analisis HOTS pada indikator menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta adalah sangat kurang. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena peserta didik tidak mampu menjawab soal dengan baik dan banyak menjawab secara asal-asalan. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pembiasaan menjawab soal dengan kriteria HOTS agar dapat melatih kognitif dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. AbstractThe result of student learning can be known by the test. In this study, the development of test was carried out with the type of multiple choice questions and descriptions, using HOTS indicators in the cognitive domain such as analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6). The method used in this study is research and development (R&D) method with the formative research model from Tessmer, which consist of 4 development stages namely preliminary¸ self evaluation, protoyping, and field test. The result of the preliminary stage has been determined the subject and place of research at SMK Negeri 12 Malang, but the testing was carried out online because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The self-evaluation stage produces questions design called prototype I. The prototyping stage produces questions that have been corrected in the expert test process and one-to-one test was called prototype II, in the small group test there’s no improvement because it gets a positive response from students. The results of the field test were 29 people data was collected then scored and analyzed the quality of the questions. The results of the cognitive analysis of students have a fairly good average, while the results of HOTS analysis on indicators of analyzing, evaluating, and creating are very lacking. This is because students are not able to answer questions well and many answer carelessly. Therefore it is necessary to get used to answering questions with HOTS criteria in order to train cognitive and higher-order thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the strategies carried out by Public Vocational High Schools in Malang City, Indonesia, implement character education in the distance learning system. This research occurred at the 2nd  PublicVocational High School (SMKN 2 Malang), Computer and Network Engineering Department. The design of this research is an interactive qualitative analysis model, i.e., reduction, data presentation, and deduction. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation for six months. Data documentation consists of diagnostic tests, Learning Management System (LMS) screenshots, and discipline time records during distance learning. This study shows that from knowledge aspect, teachers can understand students' character well so that the application of multiple intelligence strategies by utilizing diagnostic tests and LMS can be realized. However, the implementation of character education often experiences problems or lacks student technical support, so its implementation is carried out consistently by incorporating character values in every learning activity. This study recommends that observation activities be carried out when learning activities need to be optimized with synchronous learning activities.
