Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk memperoleh deskripsi penggunaan metode penemuan terbimbing yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas VII MTs Alkhairaat Tondo pada materi irisan dan gabungan himpunan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah peneliti­an tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian yang mengacu pada Kemmis dan Mc.,Taggart yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan tes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode penemuan terbimbing yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi irisan dan gabungan himpunan mengikuti langkah-langkah yaitu (1) membina suasana yang,responsif di antara siswa, (2) mengemukakan permasalahan untuk ditemukan pemecahannya, (3) mengajukan pertanyaan kepada siswa, (4) merumuskan hipotesis, (5) menguji hipotesis, dan (6) perumusan keputusan Kata Kunci: penemuan terbimbing; pemahaman; irisan dan gabungan himpunan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sigi pada materi prisma dan limas. Penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi prisma dan limas, dengan mengikuti fase-fase model pembelajaran TGT, yakni: (1) penyajian materi, yaitu guru menyajikan materi yang akan dipelajari; (2) belajar kelompok, yaitu siswa belajar dengan mengerjakan butir-butir soal yang tersedia pada LKS secara berkelompok; (3) permainan, yaitu siswa melaksanakan permainan kartu yang terdiri atas kartu soal, kartu jawaban dan kartu skor; (4) kompetisi, yaitu siswa bertanding menghadapi anggota kelompok lain dengan kemampuan setara untuk menjawab soal-soal berkategori mudah, sedang, dan sukar yang termuat pada kartu soal dan (5) penghargaan. Kata kunci: Teams Games Tournament (TGT), hasil belajar, prisma, limas Abstract: The research aimed to descibe description of cooperative learning of TGT to improve students learning outcomes of prism and pyramid in VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Sigi. In order to answer the problem statement, the researcher class action research (CAR) with used qualitative approach, the research was based on Kemmis and Mc. Taggart researh desain, namely (1) planing, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The result of the research showed that using the cooperative learning model TGT improved. It was followed by TGT steps such as: (1) presentase, namely the teacher presents the material to be studied; (2) study group, the students learn by working on those items that are available on the worksheet in groups; (3) games, namely students carry a card game consisting of card questions, reply card and the score card; (4) tournament, the students competed facing members of other groups with similar ability to answer the questions categorized as easy, moderate and difficult matter that is contained on the card and (5) reward. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Tanantovea dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita untung dan rugi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian tindakan kelas Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Tanantovea pada materi untung dan rugi melalui tahap-tahap sebagai berikut : (1) Think, pada tahap ini guru memberikan soal dalam bentuk cerita mengenai materi untung dan rugi. Setelah itu siswa membaca dan memahami isi soal dalam LKPD, kemudian membuat catatan kecil secara individu sebagai panduan mempermudah diskusi pada tahap berikutnya; (2) Talk, pada tahap ini siswa mengerjakan soal dalam LKPD secara berkelompok, siswa berdiskusi dengan teman kelompoknya membahas isi catatan kecil yang dibuatnya pada tahap think, sehingga dapat menghasilkan solusi atas soal yang diberikan; (3) Write, pada tahap ini siswa diarahkan untuk membuat kesimpulan dari hasil diskusi ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Siswa menuliskan kesimpulan hasil diskusi dari tahap talk. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write; Hasil Belajar; Untung dan Rugi. Abstract: The objective of this research is to get a description of the appliction of cooperative learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) type in an effort to improve the learning outcomes of student of VII 2 Junior High School Tanantovea in solving the story of profit and loss. This type of research is a classroom action research. This research program is refers to the design of classroom action research from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model that is (1) planning, (2) implementation of action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. This study was conducted in two cycles. The results of this research indicate the application of cooperative learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) type can improve student learning outcomes class VII 2 Junior High School Tanantovea in the material profit and loss through the stage as follows: (1) Think, at this stage the teacher gives the problem in the from of stories about the material profit and loss. Afterwards the student read and understand the content of the questions in LKPD, then make individual notes as a guide to facilitate discussion at a latter stage; (2) Talk, at this stage students work on questions in LKPD in groups, students discuss with their group friends discuss the contents of small notes made at the stage think, so it can produce solutions to the problem given; (3) Write, at this stage student are directed to draw conclusions from the results of discussion into written from. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1). Untuk memperoleh perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada materi fungsi menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL dan model pembelajaran langsung di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Mepanga. 2) Untuk memperoleh model pembelajaran yang memberikan hasil belajar siswa yang lebih baik antara model pembelajaran PBL dan model pembelajaran langsung pada materi fungsi di kelas VIII siswa SMP Negeri 3 Mepanga. Uji hipotesis menggunkan uji t pihak kanan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan One-Shot Case Study Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Mepanga yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dan terdiri dari 4 kelas yang berjumlah 111 siswa. ­Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simple random sampling. Kelas yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas PBL yang berjumlah 28 orang dan siswa kelas VIIID sebagai kelas pembelajaran langsung yang berjumlah 28 orang. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas VIIIA 71,07 dengan standar deviasi 15,08 dan kelas VIIID 63,04 dengan standar deviasi 13,61. Berdasarkan perhitungan untuk uji hipotesis pihak kanan diperoleh thitung = 2,09 dan ttabel = 1,681 pada taraf signifikan 0,05, karena nilai thitung > ttabel, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga untuk hipotesis pihak kanan dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran problem based learning memberikan hasil belajar siswa lebih baik pada materi fungsi kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Mepanga daripada model pembelajaran langsung. Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran problem based learning, model pembelajaran langsung, hasil belajar. Abstract: The purpose of this study is 1). To obtain differences in student learning outcomes on functional materials using PBL learning model and direct learning model in Class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Mepanga. 2) To obtain a learning model that provides better student learning outcomes between the PBL learning model and the direct learning model on the functional material in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Mepanga. Hypothesis test using right side t test. This research is a quantitative research experiment with research design using One-Shot Case Study Design. The population of this study is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Mepanga registered in the academic year 2017/2018 and consists of 4 classes amounting to 111 students. Teknik sampling technique is done by simple random sampling. The class that is the research sample is the students of class VIIIA as the PBL class which is 28 people and the students of class VIIID as the direct learning class which is 28 people. The result of data analysis obtained the average value of class VIIIA 71,07 with standard deviation 15,08 and class VIIID 63,04 with standard deviation 13,61. Based on the calculation for right side hypothesis test obtained thitung = 2.09 and ttable = 1.681 at significant level 0.05, because tcount> ttable, then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. So for the right-handed hypothesis can be concluded that the learning-based model of learning-based learning gives better learning outcomes of students on the subject matter of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Mepanga than the direct learning model. Abstract

This research aims to describe the problem solving profile of the circumference and circle area of ​​students in Class IX A of SMP Negeri 1 Tinombo in terms of initial abilities. This type of research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach based on Polya's problem solving steps. The results of the research show that the problem solving profile of the circumference and area of ​​a circle is for students who have: (1) high initial abilities and medium initial abilities: a) understanding the problem, at this stage students can identify things that are known using statement sentences and things that are asked using question sentences. b) planning problem solving, at this stage students plan solving the problem of the circumference and area of ​​a circle well. c) carry out a problem solving plan, at this stage students can apply problem solving strategies appropriately based on mastery of the circle concept and accuracy in finding solutions to the problems given and students carry out as planned. d) rechecking the answers, at this stage students check the results of their work step by step and recalculate the results obtained. (2) low initial ability: a) understanding the problem, at this stage students can mention things they know and ask questions but cannot understand all the information from the problem given. b) planning problem solving, at this stage students are not able to determine ways or strategies to solve problems. c) carry out a problem solving plan, at this stage students cannot solve the problem given because they have the wrong final answer because they do not use information in the form of things they know correctly so that students have difficulty finding a solution to the problem. d) rechecking answers, at this stage students cannot recheck answers.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain a description of the mistakes of class IX students at MTs Alkhairat Sibalaya in solving word problems on chance material based on the Newman procedure in terms of gender. The subjects of this research were one male and one female student in class IXB MTs Alkhairat Sibalaya who made the most mistakes. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data was collected by means of written tests and interviews. The data analysis techniques in this research are data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that female and male students had the same types of errors: Male students made (1) Process skills error types, namely making mistakes in carrying out calculations and not continuing the solution procedure (2) Types of errors in writing the final answer, namely not writing conclusion. Female students made (1) a type of process skill error, namely carrying out the wrong steps or procedure for solving a problem and (2) a type of error in writing the final answer, namely not writing a conclusion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of students' problem solving ability on the Pythagorean theorem material of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 12 Sigi. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects in this study were three students of class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Sigi in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 school year consisting of one student each with high, medium, and low mathematics abilities. Data collection techniques used observation sheets, written tests and interviews. The results of this study indicate that (1) high mathematics ability students can understand the problem, plan the solution, implement the plan, and check back, (2) moderate mathematics ability students can understand the problem, plan the solution, and implement the plan but cannot do a check back, (3) low mathematics ability students are unable to understand the problem, plan the solution, implement the plan, and check back.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the concept understanding ability of students on SPLDV material in terms of extroverted and introverted personalities at SMPN 7 Palu. The type of qualitative research is descriptive. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII D SMPN 7 Palu consisting of 20 students. However, in this study the subjects that researchers used were one student with introverted personality and one student with extroverted personality. Data collection techniques used personality questionnaires, written tests and interviews. The results of this study indicate that (1) Introverted students restate a concept by restating equation 1 and equation 2 obtained from the problem into another form, namely the SPLDV form correctly and tend to imitate what is in the problem without using their own language. Meanwhile, extroverted students restate a concept by restating the equations obtained from the problem into another form, namely the SPLDV form in their own language, not influenced by information from the problem and more likely to use their own language. (2) Introverted students provide examples of SPLDV and those that are not SPLDV based on examples of SPLDV obtained from the problem. While extroverted students provide examples that include SPLDV by looking at the SPLDV example that SE gets in the problem, but SE is unable to provide examples that do not include SPLDV because there are no examples, this means that SE can provide examples if you see an existing example. (3) Introverted students present concepts in various forms of mathematical representation in a structured manner, the steps are clear by writing in full what is known from the problem and then presenting it in the form of a mathematical model. Meanwhile, extroverted students present concepts in various forms of mathematical representation on the system of linear equations of two variables by directly presenting it in the form of a mathematical model without clear and unstructured steps by not writing what is known from the problem and directly presenting it in the form of a mathematical model. (4) Introverted students can develop necessary or sufficient conditions for a concept by writing and developing the exact conditions of one SPLDV solution and being able to determine the value of a correctly along with a clear and complete solution. Meanwhile, extroverted students develop the necessary or sufficient condition of a concept and determine the value of a by answering carelessly without doing the solution. (5) Introverted students use, utilize and select certain procedures or operations and apply concepts by determining what methods should be used in solving SPLDV problems in a structured manner, the steps are clear and the final results obtained are correct. While extroverted student subjects use, utilize, and select certain procedures or operations and apply concepts to SPLDV material with incorrect final results.
