Abstract

This research aims to develop an optimization model that systematically integrates key factors such as price, supplier capacity, Minimum order quantity (MOQ), and ordering costs into a single decision framework. The model was developed using the Capacitated Allocation Supplier Model (CASM) based on Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) with a 12-period horizon (January–December 2025). The objective is to determine the optimal combination of supplier selection and order quantity allocation that minimizes total procurement costs while ensuring supply continuity. The results indicate that the CASM–MILP model successfully reduces total procurement costs from IDR 1.671.889.794,10 to IDR 1.350.088.510, yielding IDR 321.801.284,10, or 19,25% savings. Although the percentage appears modest, the savings are significant since they are achieved without disrupting production schedules or packaging availability. Moreover, the proposed model enhances transparency and rationality in decision-making and lays the foundation for future data-driven procurement systems. Overall, this research demonstrates that the MILP-based optimization approach effectively improves cost efficiency in multi-item and multi-period procurement systems, offering practical contributions for industry management and theoretical insights for operations management studies. Abstract

Dental Supplier Company merupakan salah satu perusahaan penyedia berbagai kebutuhan dasar kedokteran gigi yang berlokasi di Kota Padang. Ketersediaan produk menjadi faktor krusial dalam memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara, ditemukan bahwa Dental Supplier Company mengalami masalah stock out dan overstock sepanjang tahun 2023 akibat belum adanya sistem pengendalian persediaan yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem pengendalian persediaan untuk Dental Supplier Company, sekaligus mengembangkan aplikasi pendukung keputusan berbasis Microsoft Excel. Metodologi penelitian meliputi studi pendahuluan, identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan dan pengolahan data, serta perancangan dan validasi sistem. Teknik analisis mencakup ABC-FSN untuk mengidentifikasi dan memprioritaskan produk yang perlu dikelola secara optimal. Evaluasi kinerja persediaan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab terjadinya produk slow moving dan non-moving. Uji normalitas untuk menentukan sebaran data permintaan mengikuti distribusi normal. Peramalan permintaan untuk memperoleh parameter permintaan yang menjadi dasar dalam perhitungan model persediaan. Model persediaan yang digunakan adalah model probabilistik Q dengan kebijakan lost sales karena sesuai dengan karakteristik konsumen, dan untuk mengatasi ketidakpastian permintaan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem pengendalian persediaan hybrid yang memadukan analisis ABC-FSN dengan model Q lost sales dalam tiga lapisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang berhasil mengurangi total biaya persediaan produk dental kategori AF sebesar 9,8% dan meningkatkan tingkat pelayanan, jika dirata-ratakan menjadi 99,85%. Aplikasi Excel yang dikembangkan telah diuji dan dinyatakan efektif oleh pihak perusahaan.

Abstract

West Sumatra, one of the provinces in Indonesia, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful natural landscapes. Additionally, its agricultural sector significantly contributes to the region's Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), including in Solok Selatan Regency, which boasts the Seribu Rumah Gadang area as its tourism icon. Solok Selatan Regency is also home to Lake Bontak, the only lake in the region, located within the conservation area of Kerinci Seblat National Park (TNKS), one of the gateways for climbing Mount Kerinci. The Independent Conservation Group (KKM) Bangun Rejo has been managing agro-ecotourism by establishing a Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and farmer groups. These groups engage in integrated farming, agriculture, and livestock businesses with nature tourism at Lake Bontak. The empowerment of these community groups aims to develop sustainable agro-ecotourism in Solok Selatan Regency. One method used is Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to identify the potential for agro-ecotourism development at Lake Bontak. The outcomes of these activities include the agro-edutourism development concept, the creation of social media accounts for promotion, and the cleaning and installation of tracking paths and tourist activity guides in the Lake Bontak area. Additionally, there is an emphasis on educating the community about conducting tourism activities that prioritize biodiversity conservation within the conservation area to support ongoing environmental knowledge around Lake Bontak. It is hoped that this area will attract both local and international tourists, particularly students and researchers interested in exploring the flora and fauna potential through the agro-edutourism concept.
