Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal proportion of carrageenan to enhance the sensory characteristics and proximate values of tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus) nuggets using the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) approach. Carrageenan concentrations were varied between 0.5% and 2% to evaluate their impact on color, aroma, flavor, texture, as well as protein, fat, and carbohydrate content. The analysis revealed that the optimal carrageenan proportion was 1.25%, with the highest sensory scores: color (9.9), aroma (9.8), flavor (9.9), and texture (9.9). At this level, the nuggets contained 16% protein, 8.5% fat, and 14% carbohydrates. Increasing the carrageenan proportion beyond 1.25% resulted in a decline in sensory quality and nutritional composition. Nuggets with the optimal carrageenan level achieved a balance between desirable texture and nutritional content, making them an ideal choice for fish-based food products. The RSM method proved effective in identifying the best formulation by analyzing variable interactions, ensuring accurate and replicable results. This study provides practical guidance for developing high-quality fish nuggets utilizing carrageenan as a binding agent. The findings are relevant to the food industry in formulating products that are not only flavorful but also nutritionally balanced. Therefore, the 1.25% carrageenan formulation is recommended for commercial applications, with the potential for further development in future research.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of providing people's business credit (KUR) on the performance of UMKM in North Luwu Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used purportive sampling, the analysis method used was simple regression analysis. The research findings indicate that the provision of KUR (Kredit Usaha Rakyat, or People's Business Credit) has a positive and significant impact on the performance of UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Luwu Regency. The study demonstrates that access to KUR financing has enhanced the operational efficiency, growth, and sustainability of local UMKM, helping them overcome financial constraints and improve their overall business performance. This highlights the importance of targeted financial support for small businesses, particularly in rural areas, to drive economic development and entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Efektivitas manajemen modal kerja memiliki peran kritikal dalam menentukan profitabilitas perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara manajemen modal kerja dan profitabilitas perusahaan, sambil mengidentifikasi celah dalam literatur yang ada dan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang fenomena ini. Studi ini dipicu oleh variasi profitabilitas antar perusahaan yang signifikan, meskipun beroperasi di industri yang sama, yang mengindikasikan potensi perbedaan dalam efektivitas manajemen modal kerja mereka. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggabungkan analisis dokumen, wawancara mendalam, dan studi kasus pada sejumlah perusahaan untuk memperoleh insight tentang praktik manajemen modal kerja dan dampaknya terhadap profitabilitas. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa perusahaan dengan manajemen modal kerja yang lebih strategis dan efisien cenderung mengalami peningkatan profitabilitas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pengelolaan modal kerja yang optimal dalam mencapai keuntungan finansial yang lebih besar dan menyarankan bahwa peningkatan praktik manajemen modal kerja dapat menjadi kunci untuk meningkatkan profitabilitas perusahaan. Kesimpulan ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap literatur manajemen keuangan dan menawarkan rekomendasi praktis bagi manajer perusahaan.

Abstract

The Corona virus pandemic or Covid-19, is the main priority cause of current health problems for all individuals, groups, nations and countries. The impact of corona or Covid-19 has greatly affected all sectors, especially the education sector in universities. The impact of Covid has forced the government to issue policies regarding the implementation of lectures which are usually conducted face-to-face and become brave (online). The purpose of this research is to determine the description of students' stress levels during brave lectures. Method: This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population of this study were Nursing study program students class of 2019, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of West Sulawesi (UNSULBAR). Results: In this study, it was found that the majority of students experienced mild stress (42.3%), normal stress (25.4%), moderate stress (23.9%), severe stress (7%), and very severe stress (1 , 4%).Conclusion, this research shows that the majority of Class of 2019 students of the Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of West Sulawesi (UNSULBAR) experienced mild stress in the dare learning system in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Purpose: Public speaking training in increasing students' self-confidence at MTS Sinoa is an activity that is carried out with the aim of increasing students' self-confidence or self-confidence in speaking in public, through several activities and techniques, where students are expected to be able to convey their ideas or concepts clearly. clear, effective and confident. Methodology: The effectiveness of public speaking training in increasing self-confidence using the knowledge sharing research method with an FGD (focus group discussion) approach, which is designed specifically for students by combining communication theory and direct practice. Results: The results of this public speaking training that has been implemented can create significant changes. Conclusions: In the world of education, the learning process is very important and supports students' cognitive and numerical factors, one of which is good communication skills. Limitations: There are several limitations to public speaking training at MTS Sinoa, namely the limited time in the school curriculum which often makes public speaking training short in duration, as a result students may not have enough time to really master this skill thoroughly, furthermore regarding inadequate resources to carry it out. quality public speaking training Contribution: Therefore, the public speaking training that has been implemented has a positive correlation between increasing interest in learning and increasing academic aspects such as percentages and discussions between teachers and students, especially MTs Sinoa, so that it is able to encourage the SDGs program which has 17 global goals, one of which is point 4, namely the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and simulate a mathematical model of product boycott behavior in North Sangatta District using a modified SEIRS model approach. This model divides the population into four compartments: Susceptible (S), Exposed (E), Infected (I), and Recovered (R). Primary data were obtained through a survey of individuals aged 15-60 years living in North Sangatta District. The SEIRS-type mathematical model was used to determine the equilibrium point. The analysis showed that the basic reproduction number , indicating that an individual who boys can influence others to do the same. Stability analysis shows that when , the boycott-free equilibrium point is unstable, while the endemic equilibrium point is locally asymptotically stable. This means that individuals who boycott will remain in the population. Simulations show that reducing the transition rate from susceptible to exposed and from exposed to boycotts, as well as increasing the recovery rate, can be a solution to reduce the impact of boycotts.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the differences in increasing conceptual understanding. students who are taught and not taught use the quantum teaching model assisted by a video-based contextual laboratory. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research, using Matching pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed that the Quantum Teaching learning model using the Video Based Contextual Laboratory had an effect on the understanding of physics concepts for students.

Abstract

The transition from conventional classrooms to digital-based learning has become an inevitable global phenomenon, especially in response to technological advancements and the evolving needs of 21st-century learners. This literature review aims to explore the paradigm shift in education from traditional face-to-face models to digital systems, highlighting the driving and inhibiting factors of this process. The analysis draws from recent sources discussing innovations in digital learning, infrastructure readiness, changes in the educator’s role, and new skills required by students. The findings indicate that digital-based learning offers flexibility, accessibility, and personalization, while also presenting challenges such as the digital divide, limited social interaction, and the need for digital competence training for teachers and students. The implications suggest the necessity for a well-planned transition strategy, adequate resource provision, and adaptive curriculum development that integrates technology. With the right approach, digital learning holds the potential to enhance education quality and expand access across diverse communities. This study is expected to serve as a reference for education practitioners, policymakers, and researchers in understanding the dynamics of this transformation and in designing more innovative and inclusive learning models.

Abstract

Reading literacy is one of the basic skills that must be mastered by elementary school students to support their academic success. However, low interest in reading and the lack of interesting learning media are challenges in improving reading literacy. One of the media that can be utilized is educational podcasts, which offer interactive and flexible audio-based learning experiences. This literature study aims to analyze the effectiveness of educational podcasts as an alternative media in improving elementary school students' reading literacy. The results of the study show that the use of podcasts in learning can improve reading comprehension, listening skills, and enrich students' vocabulary. In addition, podcasts also provide a more enjoyable learning experience than conventional methods. This study recommends the integration of podcasts into the curriculum and training for teachers to optimize their use in learning. Thus, educational podcasts have the potential to be innovative media that support the improvement of elementary school students' reading literacy effectively

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas media pembelajaran fisika berbasis TikTok dan PowerPoint terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Takalar. Latar belakangnya adalah rendahnya hasil belajar fisika akibat metode konvensional dan tingginya penggunaan TikTok oleh siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen kuasi ("The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design"), penelitian melibatkan populasi 62 siswa kelas XI MIPA dan sampel 25 pasang siswa yang dicocokkan dari kelas XI MIPA 1 dan XI MIPA 2. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar fisika pilihan ganda. Analisis data meliputi deskriptif (N-Gain) dan inferensial (uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan Independent Samples T-test). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media PowerPoint "tidak efektif" (N-Gain rata-rata 18.34%), sedangkan media TikTok "kurang efektif" (N-Gain rata-rata 48.08%). Meskipun demikian, terdapat perbedaan efektivitas yang signifikan (p < 0.05) antara kedua media, dengan TikTok menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Disimpulkan bahwa media TikTok lebih efektif dibandingkan PowerPoint, namun pengembangan pedagogis dan teknis lebih lanjut, serta strategi pendampingan yang tepat, masih diperlukan untuk optimalisasi
