Abstract

Latar belakang:Prestasi atlet bulutangkis didukung oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya ketahanan fisik. Salah satu komponen ketahanan fisik yang harus dimiliki oleh atlet bulutangkis adalah daya tahan aeorbik (VO2 max). Daya tahan aerobik yang kurang diperhatikan oleh atlet dapat menyebabkan menurunnya performa atlet pada saat bertanding. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  untuk menganalisis hubungan kadar hemoglobin dan persen lemak tubuh dengan kapasitas VO2 max atlet bulutangkis.Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian explanatory research dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh atlet bulutangkis UKM bulutangkis UNNES dan UNDIP. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 32 sampel yang diambil menggunakan  teknik purposive sampling. Variabel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu kadar hemoglobin, persen lemak tubuh dan kapasitas VO2 max. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, pengukuran persen lemak tubuh menggunakan BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis), pengukuran kadar hemoglobin dengan metode cyanmethemoglobin dan kapasitas VO2 max menggunakan metode Multistage Fitness Test. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan Rank Spearman.Hasil: Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki kapasitas VO2max sedang sebesar 46,8%, kadar hemoglobin normal sebesar 81,2%, dan persen lemak tubuh dalam kategori gemuk yaitu sebesar 40,6%. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kadar hemoglobin dengan kapasitas  VO2 max (p=0,000) dan terdapat hubungan antara persen lemak tubuh dengan kapasitas VO2 max (p=0,035).Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara persen lemak tubuh dan kadar hemoglobin dengan kapasitas VO2 max atlet bulutangkis.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Indeks Gizi Seimbang (IGS) pada masyarakat di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi pangan masyarakat belum sesuai dengan pedoman gizi seimbang. Konsumsi masyarakat yang belum sesuai dengan gizi seimbang dapat disebabkan karena adanya faktor rendahnya pengetahuan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan edukasi terkait IGS untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik yang lebih baik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik yang baik terakit indeks gizi seimbang pada kader posyandu sehingga kader dapat menerapkan konsumsi pangan yang sesuai dengan pedoman gizi seimbang dan dapat menyampaikan kepada masyarakat. Program pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan pendekatan pada kader untuk melakukan edukasi dengan metode ceramah dan menggunakan media booklet serta powerpoint. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pemberian pre test kemudian pemberian edukasi dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab dan diakhiri dengan pemberian post test. Jumlah peserta edukasi sebanyak 20 kader posyandu di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sumowono. Rata-rata skor pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik subjek sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan edukasi mengalami peningkatan. Rata-rata skor pengetahuan subjek sebelum dilakukan edukasi adalah 7,74 dan setelah dilakukan edukasi skornya menjadi 8,63 (p=0,466). Rata-rata skor sikap subjek sebelum dilakukan edukasi adalah 5,47, sesudah edukasi skornya 6,63 (p=0,160). Skor praktik subjek sebelum dilakukan edukasi adalah 5,47 sedangkan setelah nya menjadi 9,00 (p=0,003). Tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap setelah dilakukan edukasi Indeks Gizi Seimbang, namun terdapat perbedaan praktik kader setelah dilakukan edukasi IGS. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, IGS, Kader, Booklet, Gizi Seimbang, Sumowono  ABSTRACT Healthy Eating Index (HEI) for people in Indonesia is still relatively low. This shows that people's food consumption is not following balanced nutrition guidelines. Community consumption that is not yet by balanced nutrition is caused by a factor of low knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out education related to HEI to increase knowledge, attitudes, and better practices. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge, attitudes, and good practices regarding the balanced nutrition index for posyandu cadres so that cadres can consume food according to balanced nutrition guidelines and can convey it to the community.  The community service program is carried out with an approach to cadres to conduct education using the lecture method using booklets and PowerPoint media. The activity began with giving a pre-test then giving education followed by a question and answer session and giving a post-test at the end of the activity. The number of participants was 20 posyandu cadres in the working area of the Sumowono Health Center.  The average score of knowledge, attitudes, and practice subjects before and after education has increased. The average score of subject knowledge before education was 7.74 and after education, the score was 8.63 (p=0.466). The average score of the subject's attitude before education was 5.47, after education the score was 6.63 (p=0.160). Abstract

Latar belakang: Prevalensi anemia ibu pasca melahirkan di Indonesia cukup tinggi mencapai 45,1%, dan di Kabupaten Kendal tahun 2018 mencapai 99%. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kadar hemoglobin pada ibu menyusui di Desa Selokaton, Kecamatan Sukorejo, Kabupaten Kendal.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional menggunakan purposive sampling dan didapatkan sampel sebanyak 42 orang. Wawancara dan uji hemoglobin menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner, formulir recall 24 jam, dan HB POCT (Hemoglobin Point of Care Testing). Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan uji korelasi Rank Spearman.Hasil: Sebagian besar ibu termasuk usia tidak berisiko (81%), berpendidikan lanjut (64,3%), tidak memiliki risiko KEK (95,2%), tidak memiliki paparan pestisida (97,6%), terpapar rokok (81,0%), kurang asupan zat besi (97,6%), kurang asupan vitamin C (76,2%), tidak rutin mengonsumsi TTD (85,7%), paritas ibu ≤3 (97,6). Hasil uji Pearson Product Moment menemukan tidak terdapat relevansi antara usia dengan kadar hemoglobin ibu (p=0,447). Hasil uji korelasi ­Rank Spearman menunjukkan tidak ada relevansi antara tingkat pendidikan (p=0,467), pendapatan keluarga (p=0,068), status gizi (p=0,590), paparan pestisida (p=0,808), paparan rokok (p=0,198), kecukupan asupan zat besi (p=0,082) dan kecukupan asupan vitamin C (p=0,136) dengan kadar hemoglobin ibu menyusui.Simpulan: Tidak terdapat korelasi antara usia, tingkat pendidikan, pendapatan keluarga, status gizi, paparan pestisida, paparan rokok, kecukupan asupan zat besi, dan kecukupan asupan vitamin C dengan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu menyusui Desa Selokaton. Terdapat kecenderungan faktor paparan rokok, kecukupan asupan zat besi dan kecukupan asupan vitamin C pada kadar hemoglobin ibu menyusui.Kata kunci: hemoglobin, karakteristik, asupan zat gizi, paparan pestisida, paparan rokok ABSTRACTTitle: Factors Affecting Hemoglobin Levels in Breastfeeding Mothers in Selokaton Village, Sukorejo District, Kendal RegencyBackground: Indonesia had 45.1% postpartum maternal anemia, while in 2018, Kendal Regency has 99%. The study sought to identify factors that affect breastfeeding mothers' hemoglobin levels in Selokaton Village, Sukorejo District, Kendal Regency.Method: This type of research is analytic and observational with a cross-sectional design using purposive sampling and a sample of 42 people. Research tools like questionnaires, 24-hour recall forms, and HB POCT (Hemoglobin Point of Care Testing) were used for interviews and hemoglobin tests. Bivariate analysis used the Pearson Product Moment correlation test and the Rank Spearman correlation test.Result: Most of the mothers were not at risk (81%), had advanced education (64.3%), did not have CED risk (95.2%), did not have exposure to pesticides (97.6%), were exposed to cigarettes (81.0%), had insufficient intake of iron (97.6%), had insufficient intake of vitamin C (76.2%), did not take iron tablets regularly (85.7%), and had maternal parity ≤3 (97.6%). The Pearson product moment test results found no relevance between age and maternal hemoglobin levels (p=0.447). Spearman's rank correlation test results showed no relevance between education level (p=0.467), family income (p=0.068), nutritional status (p=0.590), exposure to pesticides (p=0.808), exposure to cigarettes (p=0.198), adequacy of iron intake (p=0.082) and adequacy of vitamin C intake (p=0.136) with hemoglobin levels of lactating mothers.Conclusion: Age, education, family income, nutritional status, pesticide and cigarette exposure, iron and vitamin C intake, and hemoglobin levels in breastfeeding mothers in Selokaton Village are not related. Smoking, iron, and vitamin C intake affect hemoglobin levels in lactating mothers.Keywords:hemoglobin level, characteristic, nutritional intake, pesticide exposure, cigarette exposure

Abstract

Diet development today tends to lead to accelerated growth of chronic diseases. Obesity plays a negative role in the development of chronic disease. This risk factor also occurs in the aging process. The condition of organ tissue dysfunction and cell death that occurs with aging also occurs in obesity due to chronic inflammation. This study analyzes the beneficial effects of applying Calorie Restriction (CR) or Energy Restriction (PE) to achieve a long life span, especially in obese individuals. This article is a literature review study with qualitative analysis by searching the PubMed electronic database from February to July 2021 and searching for articles through Meta-analysis, Review, and Systematic Review. Six articles have high relevance. References obtained were compiled and reviewed by summarizing and analyzed by triangulation. Furthermore, examining previous research's pros and cons finally gives alternative solutions. The results of the study showed the application of the PE method by reducing daily energy consumption without causing the risk of malnutrition because it still considers an essential nutrient. In conclusion, the benefits of PE have an impact on slowing down aging molecularly. Slowing down the aging process can increase a person's life expectancy.

Abstract

Adolescent girls are a group that is prone to nutritional problems, one of which is iron deficiency, causing anemia. The influencing factor is the lack of knowledge and attitudes of young women about anemia. Efforts to improve knowledge and attitudes in young women in anemia health problems can be through nutrition education. This study aims to analyze the effect of nutrition education by media education on the cover of books on knowledge and attitudes about anemia in adolescent girls at Teuku Umar Middle School Semarang. The cover of the book contains the understanding of anemia, signs of anemia, anemia prevention and also supported by nutrition education materials about anemia. Data collection used was the Pre-Post Test One Group Design design through filling out questionnaires regarding knowledge and attitudes about adolescent anemia, with a total sample of 36 respondents being counted using purposive sampling. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test because the data is not normal. The results showed that the influence of education using a book cover on young women in Teuku Umar Middle School Semarang with a significance value of p-value = 0.001, to the level of knowledge that before intervention 16.7% had increased to 94.6% and increased attitudes in giving good intervention category of 66.7% to 91.7% indicated by a significance value of p-value = 0.001. The conclusion of this study is the influence of nutrition education with book cover media on the level of knowledge and attitudes about Adolescent Girls' Anemia. Schools and students are expected to be able to increase their knowledge and attitudes in the prevention of adolescent anemia.

Abstract

Background : Stunting is identified by comparing measurements of childrent’s heights to the NCHS WHO2005growth reference population : children who fall potential as a result of suboptimal health and/or nutritionalconditions. Stunting prevalence in Indonesia still high level, this indicated health problem because associatedwith increase in morbidity and mortality, low cognitive capability and improper physical function.The purpose inthis study was to determine many environmental factors and behaviour associated with incidence of stunting.Methods : It was an observational research with case-control study design.Subject were divided into two groups: case and control groups in Elementary School student class 4 and 5 with 37 subject in case group and 53 subjectin the control group. Variables examined in this study was a history of exposure to pesticides, history of cigarettesmoke exposure, mosquito smoke exposure history, a history of using plastic as a place to store food is still hot,urinaryexcretioniodine (UEI), levels of urinary thyocyanate, anemia, TSH levels, Cholinesterase levels and BodyMass Index.Data was collected by interviewing, observation and measurement. Data would be analyzed using independent t–test or Mann Withney), bivariate analisys using Chi-Square and multivariate analysis using logistic regression.Result :This study indicated that the incidence of stunting was 37 %; 56,8% of them had history of pesticidesexposure. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the risk factor of stunting in student is a history ofpesticides exposure with Odds Ratio (OR) 2,625. The result of logistic regression test showed there was asignificant association between the incidence of stunting with a history of pesticide exposure(OR 2,39).Conclusion :The history of pesticides exposure was the risk factor for stunting.Key words : Environmental and behaviour factors, stuting, elementary student, agriculture areas.

Abstract

Management has a role in generating information, which requires the use of information systems capable of producing relevant and better data. Systematic decision-making procedures are also needed to produce more focused data. In making decisions for hospital development, hospital management considers several factors, including health programs by looking at facilities and specialist doctors who can provide excellent service, as well as efforts with good numbers and services to introduce or convince the public of our services. general, company, and insurance This research uses a narrative review approach, with many articles on the same problem. Articles are taken from a database from Scopus, Science Direct, ProQuest, SpringerLink, Google Scholar, Nature, JSTOR, and Emerald Insight with a total of 29 articles used. The purpose of this study is to determine whether management has a significant influence in decision making. decisions in hospitals with strategic support systems such as human resource development, program selection, marketing, and facility growth.  Abstrak: Manajemen memiliki peranan dalam menghasilkan informasi, yang mengharuskan penggunaan sistem informasi yang mampu menghasilkan data yang relevan dan lebih baik. Prosedur pengambilan keputusan yang sistematis juga diperlukan untuk menghasilkan data yang lebih terfokus. Abstract

Stunting is a global problem that requires comprehensive treatment, one of which is changing the behavior of mothers in feeding stunting toddlers. Behavioral changes can be done through the provision of health education in the form of mentoring and booklets.  Research agreed to find out the influence of mentoring with booklet media on maternal behavior in feeding stunting toddlers in working area Puskesmas Karangdadap Pekalongan Regency. This type of research is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest design with the control group.  The study sample was 58 mothers who had stunting toddlers in the working area of Karangdadap Health Center in Pekalongan Regency with purposive sampling techniques. Research instruments are questionnaires and booklets. Data analysis uses frequency distribution and independent t-tests. The results showed that in the intervention group, 89.7% of people aged 20-35 years, as well as in the control group, all 100% of people aged 20-35 years. The majority of the intervention group respondents' jobs were out of work (58.6%), while in the control group the majority of respondents' jobs were labourers (37.9%) and non-workers at 37.9%. The majority of the education level of intervention group respondents was primary education which was 22 people (75.9.8%) as well as in the control group it is known that the majority of respondents are basic educated, namely 16 people (56.2%). Respondents who had 1 child under five in the intervention group (69%) were larger than the control group (51.7%) Feeding behavior in stunting toddlers in the intervention group was known before being given mentoring and booklet there were 15 people (51.7%) had enough behavior and 14 people (48.3%) had less behavior. Respondents after being given mentoring and booklets who have enough behavior by 19 people (65.5%) and good behavior by 10 people (34.5%). Feeding behavior in stunted toddlers in the control group was known before counselling there were 15 people (51.7%) who had sufficient behavior and 14 people (48.3%) who had less behavior.  Feeding behavior in stunting toddlers after being given health counselling is known 27 people (93.1%) have enough behavior and 2 people (6.9%) have good behavior. There is a difference between mentoring with media booklet and counselling to maternal behavior in feeding stunting toddlers in the working area of Karangdadap Health Center pekalongan regency with a value of 0.001 less than 0.05.  Mentoring and booklets are more effective than counselling in improving feeding behavior in stunting toddlers. It is recommended for policymakers that in drafting health promotion program policies as an effort to improve feeding behavior in stunting toddlers can use effective promotional media such as mentoring and booklet.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Undernutrition describes acute nutritional status.This situation is presented with a Z-Score value of BB/TB at the of <-3 SD to <-2 SD malnutrition category based on World Health Organization (WHO) standards. One of the factors that causes malnutrition in toddlers is family food security.Objectives: To analyze the relationship between food security and malnutrition in children aged 2-5 years in the PangkalanCommunity Health Center working area.Methods: Observational research using a cross sectional study design. The research was 300 children aged 2-5 years, selected through simple random sampling. Food security was calculated using a questionnaire (HFFSM), as well as anthropometric measurements of BB/TB.  Bivariate data analysis was carried out using the Spearman correlation test.Results :As much  75.7%  low food security and nutritional status BB/TB malnutrition was 9%. The results of the Spearman correlation test, show that there is a relationship between family food security and nutritional status according to Z-Score BB/TB p-value 0,023 r=0,131*, this means that if the BB/TB score is low, food security will be increasingly dangerous.Conclusion: Family food security is one of the factors that can increase the incidence of underweight in toddlers aged 2-5 years. Nutritional problems are caused by weak family food security, which is the family’s ability to meet the food needs of household members in terms of quantity, quality, and variety according to local culture. Efforts that can be made to increase food security in households so that nutritional intake can be met properly including empowering houdewives regarding how to manage finances for household consumption as well as empowering training such as sewing and managing small and medium household businesses (UMKM).Keywords : Malnutrition; food security; toodlers                                                                     ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Gizi Kurang menggambarkan status gizi yang bersifat akut, keadaan ini dipresentasikan dengan nilai Z-score BB/TB pada ambang batas <-3 SD sampai dengan <-2 SD kategori  gizi kurang berdasarkan standar World Health Organization (WHO). Salah satu yang menjadi faktor terjadinya gizi kurang pada balita yaitu ketahanan pangan keluarga.Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan ketahanan pangan dengan gizi kurang pada anak usia 2-5 tahun di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pangkalan.Metode: Penelitian observasional dengan menggunakan rancangan study cross-sectional. Penelitian melibatkan  300 anak usia 2-5 tahun yang  dipilih melalui simple random sampling,  ketahanan pangan dihitung menggunakan kuesioner (HFFSM) serta pengukuran antropometri berat badan dan tinggi badan.. Analisis data bivariate dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi spearman. Hasil: Sebanyak 75.7% ketahanan pangan rendah (low food security) dan status gizi BB/TB gizi kurang sebanyak 9%. Hasil uji korelasi spearman menunjukkan terdapat hubungan ketahanan pangan keluarga dengan status gizi menurut Z-Score BB/TB (p=0.023) r=0,131*, artinya apabila skor BB/TB rendah maka ketahanan pangan nya semakin rawan.Simpulan: Kerawanan pangan  keluarga merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kejadian gizi kurang pada balita usia 2-5 tahun. Masalah gizi disebabkan lemahnya ketahanan pangan keluarga yang merupakan kemampuan keluarga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan anggota rumah tangga dari segi jumlah, mutu dan ragamnya sesuai dengan budaya setempat. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan di rumah tangga sehingga asupan gizi dapat terpenuhi dengan baik yaitu pemberdayaan kepada ibu rumah tangga terkait bagaimana pengelolaan keuangan untuk konsumsi rumah tangga serta pemberdayaan pelatihan seperti menjahit dan pengelolaan usaha rumah tangga kecil dan menengah (UMKM).Kata Kunci : Gizi Kurang; Ketahanan Pangan; Balita

Abstract

Lead is one of the four most dangerous heavy metal pollutants, toxic to human health, and linked to metabolic syndrome (MetS). This research aimed to analyze the relationship between respondent characteristics, blood lead level (BLL), nutrition intake, and physical activity to MetS and its components in women of reproductive age at Pemali District Mining Area, Bangka Belitung Regency. This research was conducted with a case-control approach involving 70 women of reproductive age (35 cases and 35 controls). Data was analyzed using chi-square and Mann-Witney tests for bivariate analysis and regression test logistics for multivariate analysis. Based on bivariate analysis, there is a significant relationship between body mass index (BMI) (p=0.000), salt intake (p=0.017), and seasoning intake (p=0.017) to MetS; meanwhile, BLL is not associated with MetS (p=0.473) but are associated with high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC) (p=0.019). Multivariate test results show that BMI (p=0.000; OR=7.995) and salt intake (p=0.030; OR=6.812) are significant risk factors for MetS. Women of reproductive age must maintain BMI within normal levels and reduce daily salt intake to prevent the occurrence of MetS. BLL must be controlled to prevent decreased HDLC levels in women of reproductive age.
