Abstract

This study aims to find out how the form of lexical interference contained in Gita Savitri's video entitled "Opinions episode 77: 'Insecure Mulu...How To Deal With It'. The method used in this research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subject used in this study is one of the videos contained in Gita Savitri's YouTube channel and the object in this study is the use of two languages ​​used by Gita Savitri to convey her ideas and then the forms of language errors that occur in the video will be analyzed. The following: The form of lexical interference based on word class found in Gita Savitri's video entitled "Insecure mulu how to deal with it" was found as many as 59 data including nine classes of verbs, twenty-two classes of adjectives, twenty-one classes of nouns, four classes of pronouns and three classes of numerals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas penggunaan campur kode dalam konten Wanderlearn pada akun TikTok @eranitri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan yang mengandung campur kode. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah video konten Wanderlearn pada akun TikTok @eranitri yang diunggah di bulan Maret, Juni, dan Agustus 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam konten Wanderlearn pada akun TikTok @eranitri terjadi penggunaan campur kode keluar (outer code mixing) dengan unsur serapan bahasa Inggris. Campur kode keluar yang terjadi berupa tataran kata, frasa, dan klausa. Kemudian, fungsi campur kode dalam konten Wanderlearn pada akun TikTok @eranitri, yaitu: 1) menyampaikan informasi, 2) menjelaskan, 3) afektif (mengekspresikan perasaan), dan 4) persuasif (membujuk).

Abstract

Research objectives describethe phenomenon of code switching and code mixing occurred in Mr. Wahyudi's family environment in Cibitung village. As well asdescribefactors affecting code switching and code mixingfamily Mr. Wahyudi in the village of Cibitung. This study uses a qualitative approach and analytic descriptive method. Data collection techniques using in-depth interview techniques and participant observation. Data analysis collection techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the analysis show that there is code switching and code mixing in the speeches of Wahyudi's family in Cibitung village. Factors affecting code switching and code mixingfamily Mr. Wahyudi in Cibitung village, namely the speaker presents the third person, the speaker's habits, and the insertion of words.

Abstract

The purpose of this researchdescribe communication stylePublic KarangMulya Village and understand what obstacles the local community experiences in communicating. This study uses a qualitative approach and analytical descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that the people of KarangMulya Village have a majority population who use Sundanese in their communication activities. Communication barriers experienced by the elderly community. This is because there is a lack of hearing so that it is difficult to interact.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the practice of code switching or code mixing between Sundanese and Indonesian at home in Panyingkiran village region in Karawang. By using a qualitative approach, this research explores the motivation, understanding, function, impact, and tendency to use code switching in bilingual households. Research methods include in-depth interviews with family members who have experienced the use of code-switching, direct observation of everyday conversations in the family, and analysis of the context in which code-switching is used in the family. The research participants consisted of five families who were deliberately selected based on the inclusion criteria. The results of the research show that code-switching from Sundanese to Indonesian is a common practice at home in Panyingkiran village in Karawang. The motivation for using code-switching includes efforts to integrate cultural and family identity, express feelings, and convey meaning better. The use of code-switching also reflects the trend of cross-generational change, with Bahasa Indonesia increasingly dominating everyday family conversation. Although code switching is considered normal and socially acceptable at home, the continuous mastery of Sundanese and Bahasa Indonesia can have an impact on children's language skills. Children often experience difficulties in developing their Sundanese language skills and dominate the use of Indonesian. This study contributes to the understanding of the practice of code switching from Sundanese to Indonesian at home in Panyingkiran village region in Karawang. The implications of this research may have implications for the development of language education policies, as well as for a better understanding of the role of language in shaping cultural identity and family relationships in multilingual settings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the efforts and methods used by Mr. Yanto's family to improve children's language skills. This study uses a qualitative approach and analytic descriptive method. Data collection techniques using techniquesobservation, observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the analysis show that there are several efforts made by Mr. Yanto's family in improving children's language skills. The first thing to do is start from an early age, namely by teaching greetings or learning to greet people. Mr. Yanto's two families taughthis son to use polite speech when asking for help is required to say the word"help", get gifts or praise from other people say"Thank You" ,then if you make a mistake, no matter how big or small the mistake, you must apologize by saying"sorry",then if passing people have to say"Excuse me".The third is by inviting children to talk, chatting when they are together or by introducing something new. Something around it. While the method used by Mr. Yanto's family in improving children's language skills is through the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of appreciation, and the maxim ofsympathy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengertian, bentuk, dan kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung unsur alih kode dan campur kode dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian adalah hasil perekaman video di ruang kelas pada siswa kelas 7 di SMP Negeri 3 Cikarang Utara. Sedangkan objek pada penelitian difokuskan pada lingkungan sekolah mengenai campur kode bahasa yang mereka pertahankan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengkaji strategi inklusi dan eksklusi yang digunakan oleh media kompas.com dalam kaitannya dengan pemberitaan kekerasan seksual dengan menggunakan analisis wacana kritis Theo Van Leeuwen. Temuan penelitian ini kemudian akan digunakan untuk menyarankan sumber daya pengajaran untuk teks berita kelas XII. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pemberitaan kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan pada kompas.com edisi September–Desember 2021 menjadi objek penelitian, dan kompas.com menjadi topik kajian. Dalam penyelidikan ini, ditemukan bahwa pemberitaan kopas.com menggunakan taktik eksklusi dan inklusi. Pelaku kekerasan seksual kerap disingkirkan dari Kompas.com, apalagi jika mereka memegang jabatan. Hasil analisis wacana kritis Theo Van Leeuwen dapat dijadikan sebagai rencana pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian ini dapat diterapkan pada pengembangan teori teks berita kelas XII sejalan dengan kurikulum. KD yang harus dicapai yaitu memehami struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan teks berita, baik secara lilsan maupun tulisan

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the learning model applied, namely the flipped classroom learning model, on learning to write scientific papers in an effort to increase the self-improvement of class XI students. The author uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used was the Pre-Experimental method in the form of "one group pretest-posttest". This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Jatisari by taking one class as the research sample, namely class XI MIPA 1, totaling 36 respondents from the 171 population of class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Jatisari.There are three stages in this research, namely: pretest, treatment, and posttest. The pretest was carried out to determine students' ability to write scientific papers before receiving treatment. After carrying out the pretest, teaching treatment was given with a modern learning style/flipped learning (flipped classroom model) with teaching materials that had been prepared in the sample class. After being given treatment, the researchers then conducted a posttest to find out whether there was an influence in implementing the flipped classroom learning model in learning to write scientific papers in an effort to increase students' self-improvement. The research was processed using normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of data analysis in the research prove that the posttest scores of experimental class students have an average score of (85.3). Then, the results of the paired sample t-test data show a significant number between the pretest and posttest values ​​with a significance value (2-tailed) P = 0.000, <0.05. which can be concluded that there is a difference in the average value before and after treatment. Based on the hypothesis testing criteria, it can be concluded that the use of the flipped classroom learning model in learning to write students' scientific papers is better and there is an increase in students' self-improvement. The results of the research show that using the flipped classroom learning model can influence learning to write scientific papers in increasing the self-improvement of class XI MIPA 1 students at SMAN 1 Jatisari.

Abstract

The development of information technology allows for innovation in the field of education. Podcasts as audio-based media technology can be utilized in the field of education. This study was conducted to determine whether podcast media can improve biography listening skills in class X students at SMKN 3 Karawang. The type of research used is quantitative with a Prestest-Posttest Control Group experimental research design. Class X MP 1 and MP 2 were selected as research samples with random sampling method. The results of this study indicate that Ha is accepted: the application of podcast media has an effect on improving the listening skills of class X students at SMKN 3 Karawang. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis testing for posttest data of control class and experimental class obtained Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) is 0.000, so Ha is accepted because 0.000 <0.05. In addition, the average N-gain of the experimental class is 0.77, so it is in the high category. Furthermore, the average N-gain of the control class is 0.45, so it is in the medium category. The application of podcast media to biography listening skills gets a good response from students. This can be proven from the average TCR score on all statements which is 84.82%, then the score is in the very good category.
