Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors driving habit of eating snacks SMP N 13 district students Sijunjung internally by factors of knowledge, needs and attitudes of students, while externally based factors parents, friends and traders. This research is quantitative descriptive ekspolatif form. The study population was all students in SMP N 13 Sijunjung sitting in class VII and VIII as many as 207 people while a sample is determined by rando sampling technique with proportional sampling population 25% of the 51 students. Data collection technique is to use a questionnaire with Likert and Guttman scales. Descriptive data analysis using percentage calculations respondent achievement levels. Based on the survey results revealed the factors driving habits of students snack on internal factors to the knowledge students gained scores by 67% with the medium category, the needs of students by 81% with the high category, the attitude of 59% with poor category, the external factor of 70% with parents medium category, a friend by 80% with high category and traders by 71% with moderate category. Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of management safetyand healthy activity at staff laundry department Hotel Rocky Plaza Padang. Thisresearch consists of four indicators of management safety and healthy activity are job area, work use equipment, bright arrange, self work protection. This researchwas descriptive with qualitative data. Data was collected by using interviews,observations, and documentations in volving informations using purposivesampling. Management safety and healthy activity at laundry department staffHptel Rocky Plaza Padang are: 1) Presence program complete work useequipments of staff laundry department, 2) Bright organizing arrange for staffwith works, 3) offer directing for staff related with be needed safety and healthyactivity staff laundry department, 4) Controlling with control and frequentconsider related safety and healthy activity staff laundry department about whatmust kind and frequent consider, 5) Do evaluation with ptoportion and efectifmeasure in use achieve efforts business purpose. Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the tourist perceptions about the tourdestination of PantaiPasirJambak Padang City. This research consists of fiveindicators are: tour attraction, pre tool, tool, infrastructure and society, . This type ofresearch is descriptive research using survey method. Population in this researchamounted to 728 tourist. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, usinginsidental sampling. Sample number in this research amounted to 89 tourist. Datacollection using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that tested for validity andreliability. Based on the results of the study concluded that in general the touristperceptions about the tour destinationofPantaiPasirJambak Padang City good enoughin mean 142,03 between range 126 -< 154.

Abstract

This purpose of research is to describe job satisfaction of employees in Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. This research consists of five indicators of job satisfaction are: payroll, the work itself, promotion, supervision, and relationships with co-workers. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, the population in this research are 114 people’s. Sampling technique is proportional sampling. Sample number in this research amounted for 54 people’s. Data collection using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by categorization rating based on the average scores and percentage assessment. Results of this research concluded that overall job satisfaction of employees in the Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi is classified in the category very well with the average value of 173,5 in the range scores of ≥172 and interpretation percentage 56 %. Abstract

The purpose of research is to to know Perceptions Visitors About Facilities Attractions Tourism In Harau Valley. This study was descriptive quantitative. Population of 160 242 visitors in the attraction. Selection of the study sample using technique using incidental sampling as many as 100 people. Data collection using a questionnaire based on a Likert Scale that have been tested for validity and reliability. Perception research results Facility Visitors About Tourism In Harau Valley Attractions categorized quite well with the average value of 172.01 which is at 185.9 157,1- range. While based on each of the indicators, namely: (1) the form of tourist facilities belong to the poor category with an average value of 49.46 is in the range 53.9 42,7- scores, (2) the functions belonging to the category of tourist facilities quite well with the average value of 34.04 is in the range of 37.6 31,4- scores, (3) the location of tourist facilities belong to the category of fairly well with the average value of 46.65 scores were in the range 39.4 - 47.6, (4) the quality of tourist facilities belong to the category of fairly well with the average value in the range of 42.86 39,8- score of 48.2.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of price and qualityof front office employees service to customer satisfaction os staying at Hotelpusako Bukittinggi. This research is correlation. The population in this study isamount 1025. Selection of informants using purposive sampling technique asmany as 92 people. Data collection using questionnaires based on Likert Scalethat has been tested for its validity and reliability. Based on research result ofroom price in Hotel Pusako Bukittinggi classified as less good (53%), quality offront office employees service at Hotel Pusako Bukittinggi classified as less good(53%), Customer satisfaction staying at Hotel Pusako is classified as less good(64%). The results showed that there is a positive and significant influencebetween the price and quality of front office employees service to the satisfactionof customers staying at Pusako Bukittinggi with an influential contribution of27,7%.Keywords: Price, Service Quality and customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine how much workload given to roomboy and labor productivity in the Housekeeping Department roomboy Premier Basko Hotel Padang. The study consisted of two indicators of workload analysis and needs roomboy namely : the amount of work (number of rooms) and working time (per hour). This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this research is the data room occupancy on the number of uninhabited rooms, check out the number of rooms uninhabited rooms along with the percentage derived from the Housekeeping Department of Premier Basko Hotel Padang. The study concluded that the main tasks of this research are roomboy clean room uninhabited (occupied), check out the room, and the room is empty on one section (morning shift). The use of productive work time based roomboy given workload is over 360 minutes. Ideal number of requirements in Housekeeping Department roomboy Premier Basko Hotel Padang is 11 people in one section on the morning shift.   Kata kunci : beban kerja, kebutuhan roomboy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor internal dan faktor eksternal dari Panorama Bukik Siduali dan kemudian menyusun strategic planning aktivitas wisata di Panorama Bukik Siduali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun yang menjadi sampel dari penelitian ini adalah beberapa informan yang terdiri dari Dinas Kebudayaan, Pariwisata, Pemuda, dan Olahraga (3 orang), masyarakat di sekitar objek wisata (4 orang), serta pengunjung objek wisata (6 orang) dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Strategic planning untuk aktivitas wisata yang akan dikembangkan adalah:1) Memanfaatkan seluruh fasilitas yang telah ada untuk aktivitas wisata seperti lahan yang subur untuk wisata kunjungan kawasan pertanian, lapangan di puncak bukit untuk aktivitas pesta budaya dan camping, serta pemandangan alam yang indah untuk aktivitas photography. 2) Memberdayakan lembaga-lembaga/komunitas khusus seperti lembaga pembibitan tanaman produktif untuk wisata kawasan pertanian, komunitas photography untuk aktifitas photography, organisasi pencinta alam untuk aktivitas camping, serta sanggar-sanggar seni untuk aktivitas pesta budaya. 3) Memulai kerjasama dengan pemerintah daerah untuk bagian promosi setiap aktivitas wisata yang akan dikembangkan.4) Memanfaatkan dukungan pemerintah daerah untuk sosialisasi, pembinaan, pengarahan, dan pengawasan aktivitas wisata yang akan dikembangkan.Kata kunci: Strategic Planning, Aktivitas Wisata

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management Attractions Rimbo PantiNature Reserve Pasaman. This type of research is descriptive qualitative andquantitative research (mixed method). This study consists of four indicators,namely management: Planning is focused on the preservation and protection offlora and fauna. Organizing managers led by a Head of Tourism. The briefing is toinvite and communicate to all members to create a positive impression ofattractions. Supervision is done by janitors and security in the attraction. Thequestionnaire results travelers and tourists say less well choose not to come backto attractions with a percentage of 57%. Suggestions rating for the manager is topay more attention again in pengelolaaan attraction especially in tourist facilities.Key Words: Planning, Organizing, Directing, Actuating

Abstract

This research starts from the observation that researcher did in theKawasan Saribu Rumah Gadang that the area is a center of culture that exists inSouth Solok Regency. But the researchers found a lack of awareness of preservingthe culture indicated by the surrounding communities. Problems that researchersfound is tourists do not recognize about the existence of tourist attractions in thearea, tourists visiting only for Selfie and a lot of the attitude shown by thecommunity as indifferent existence. The purpose of this study is to describe howthe development strategy of cultural tourism attractions in the Kawasan SaribuRumah Gadang Kanagarian Koto Baru South Solok Regency.Type of this research is a descriptive qualitative research. The populationin this research is a community was lived in the area either custom or communityleaders who have no status in the community. Sampling technique was PurposiveSampling by viewing of Something to See, Something to Buy, Something to Do.The number of samples in this study was 7 people. The technique of datacollection is done by direct communication through interviews, observation anddocumentation. Furthermore the data analyzed, reduced and drawn conclusions.The results of this research can be concluded among others: Internalfactors being the weakness of the Cultural Attractions in the Kawasan SaribuRumah Gadang: a)Lack of organized cultural event, such as the creation of the oldcustoms of the food to be a huge cost disadvantage at every event, b) lack ofregeneration of connector/successor customs evolved into one of the factors whichweaken us in expanding it. External factors that become a cultural touristattraction Opportunities in the Kawasan Saribu Rumah Gadang is: a) the existingart workshops in the area of Koto Baru can be one opportunity to enliven anypickles that are in the area, b) Roles and the Government can help in this customevent in funding.
