Abstract

The purpose of this research is to knowthe correlation between service quality of room boy with stisfaction of guest stay at Hotel Axana Padang.The population amount are 1.711. people who are stay at Hotel Axana Padang, sample selection techniques in the study is using incidental-non probability sampling. The amount of sample are 95people. Data collection techniques is using a structured questionnaire based on Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the survey find, the relationshipBetween Service Ouality of Room Boy with Satisfaction of guest shows positive with the value of correlation (r) 0,634 and significant 0,000. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze whether there are differences of the concentration of learning between the students who get breakfast and who miss breakfast, especially in the subjects F&B Service class X Jasa Boga SMK 9 Padang. This type of research is ex-postfacto with causal comparative form. The population in this study is 64 people from class X competency skills of Jasa Boga that have taken subjects F&B Service. The result of the research shows that, 61.5% of students who get breakfast have a high concentration level learning, 53.8% of students who miss breakfast lower concentration of learning and there are significant differences between the concentration of students who get breakfast with students who miss breakfast. The results showed that thitung 30 623 > ttable 2.8817 at  Sig 0:05. It means that there is a difference between the concentration of students who do not get breakfast with the student who get breakfast. The concentration of students who get breakfast are higher than students who miss it.   Kata kunci: konsentrasi belajar, sarapan pagi, f&b service

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the mother's level of knowledge about nutrition , describe the nutritional status of children under five , and maternal knowledge about the relationship of nutrition and nutritional status of children under five in Housing Belimbing.Jenis this research is quantitative descriptive correlational form . The population in this study were mothers of children under five who have poor nutritional status and malnutrition , amounting to 38 orang.Analisis using the Pearson correlation coefficient Product Moment Correlation and continued with the t test for the significance analysis korelasi.Berdasarkan coefficient description of the data analysis results , that percentage the level of achievement of the respondents on the variables of maternal nutrition knowledge was highest in the percentage of 58 % with the low category , nutritional status of children under five variables obtained results from 38 infants who have nutritional problems are 11 % who suffer from malnutrition , and the remaining 89 % are children under five nutritional status less . The results of the correlation analysis suggests that there is a positive and significant relationship between mothers' knowledge of nutrition with nutritional status of children in the Housing Carambola .    Keywords: Mothers' Knowledge OfNutrition, Nutritional Status

Abstract

As for the purpose of this study was to describe: (a) planning, (b) organization, (c) direction, and (d) supervision in Sapta Pesona Beach Attractions Padang. Type of research is qualitative research. As for the research question is how management stepping in attraction Padang beach. Data collection techniques performed by using interviews, observation and documentation involving, namely: managers of attractions, attractions surrounding communities. The data analyzed include three grooves activities namely, data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusions. Based on the results of the study found some issues related to the management of stepping in Padang beach a tourist attraction, namely: 1) planning, 2) organizing 3) directing, and 4) supervision attraction patai Padang. Planning related to the objectives to be achieved in the long term, namely the sustainability of the coast of Padang as maritime tourist attraction and in the short term as a growing attraction. Plan implementation is done by means of securing and optimizing existing security officer attractions. Reporting is done verbally from the clerk to the coordinator for operations, while reporting administratively done in writing. Briefing conducted by reminding each other by management personnel attractions of the tasks to be done. Supervisors do managers together with the community, police, municipal police, the Department of Health Taman Padang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence between the facility on the tourism object towards visitor satisfaction in Air Terjun Bayang Sani, Pesisir Selatan Distric. The type of research is clausal assosiative. Population in this research are amounted to 3.720 people. The sampling technique is non probability sampling, by using insidental sampling. Sample in this research are amounted to 97 people. Data collecting using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the result of the research, show that most of all the facility on the tourism in Air Terjun Bayang Sani is good (53,60 %), and also for visitor satisfaction in Air Terjun Bayang Sani exist on enough category (60,82 %). The result also indicate that the are significant influence between facility on the tourism and visitor satisfaction in Air Terjun Bayang sani value is 7,3% while 92,7% are influenced by other factors with the coefficient determinant (R Square) value is 0,270 and the significant value is 0,008. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the effect of employee service quality (X) on guest satisfaction(Y) in Edotel Bundo Kandung SMK N 9 Padang. This Research is classified as quantitative research. The population of this research are all quest that stayed at Edotel Bundo Kandung SMK N 9 Padang at period of 2013 until 2015. This research use non-probability sampling as the sampling method, it means that this sampling method will not give the same exact change for each population to be selected as research sample. This research used incidental sample. That means all population that met the researcher during data gathering process will be selected as the data source or sample. Total sample that used in this research are 100 samples. The data are collected by spreading research questionnaire items are constructed by using Likert scale and the validity and reliability of each questionnaire have been tasted. The result of this research shown that on employee service quality each good and fair category(48%), the level of quest satisfaction level are on good category (55%). This means that employee service quality have positive and signifiant effects on quest satisfaction in Edotel Bundo Kandung SMK N 9 PadangKeywords: employee service quality, quest satisfaction

Abstract

This research aims : 1.To describes State of nutrition. 2. To knowmorbidity of ISPA and 3. To analyze the relationship of nutrition state and ISPAmorbidity of children at Tanjung Tanah district of Kerinci. Kind of this researchis descriftive quantitative with correlational approach. The population of thisresearch are the children at Tanjung Tanah district 1-5 years old about 41children with 41 samples. The technique of data collection was done by usingdirect measurement of body weigh and heigh. And the technique of ISPA mobilitycollection was done by using questioner and interviews. Base on the result of theanalysis of this research there were found three result: there were many childrenof Tanjung Tanah Kecamatan Danau Kerinci Kabupaten Kerinci district facedpoor nutrition state. The average of ISPA morbidity happened during 27.59 dayswithin six last months. Thirdly the relationship of children nutrition state withTanjung Tanah village with negative correlative of ISPA mobility collection (r=0.619) with significant and strong relationship. Base on the result its concludedthat if someone possesses good nutrition state therefore the conditions of ispamorbidity decrease and vice versa.

Abstract

Mi is a favored food of children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Processing is still wet noodles made ​​from wheat flour main, people are still consuming more white rice and variety of wet processing of rice flour noodles red no. The study aimed to analyze the influence of quality and distinction susbtitusi brown rice flour 0 %, 30 %, 40 % and 50 % of the quality of the color, texture, aroma, taste of wet noodles. This type of research design completely randomized experiment with three replications . The object of research is wet noodles with brown rice flour substitution of 0 %, 30 %, 40 % and 50 %. This research was conducted in December 2013 by 30 panelists. The analysis is carried out by organoleptic test by test and hedonic level. Hypothesis test results show there are significant use brown rice flour 0%, 30 %, 40 % and 50 % of the wet noodle quality. Substitution of brown rice flour 50 % substitution showed a better effect on the quality of red -brown color, aromas of red rice is flavorful, and the taste is quite noticeably brown rice. Substitution of 0 % and 30 % give effect to the texture and elasticity of the category decision ketidakmudah chewy and rather easily broken. And hedonic test results indicate that the substitution of 50 % liked the most in terms of taste and aroma. Keywords: effect, substitution, brown rice flour, wet noodles

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of the service quality to the visitor’s satisfaction in the sights of Carocok Painan Pesisir Selatan. Type of this research is quantitative research (assosiatif) with the causal approach. The population in this study amounted to 66,547 people. The number of samples in the study amounted to 100 people. Using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using likert scale which have tested the validity and realiability. Technique of data analysis SPSS computer program using 16.00 version. Based on the results of the research that has been done is obtained the following results: (1) The service quality placed very good category (46%). (2) The visitor’s satisfaction are in the very good category (71%). Test results of simple linear regression hypothesis acquired Fcount 135.526. Sig value 0.000 < 0.005, then it can be concluded there was significant influence between the variable X against Y with R square 0.580.Keywords: Quality, Service and Visitor’s Satisfaction

Abstract

The aim of this research is 1. To see the study period and waiting time of the graduates, 2. The GPA, 3. To see the graduates’ jobs, 4. To see the suitability of their jobs, 5. To see their salary.The kind of this research is quantitative descriptive. The population is all graduates of Family Welfare Education Department in 2008 – 2012 amounted 268 persons. The samples is 40 persons using random sampling. The data process did by determining the percentage of respondents answers base on the aim of this research.The result shows that on average, the respondents have 5 years study period and 7 months waiting time. On average the respondents have 3.01 – 3.50 GPA. Most graduates work as the teachers in formal education institution, but some of the graduates are the entrepreneurs. The salary of the graduates is Rp 3.000.000 on average per month. Most of them said that the curriculum that they had in university is suitable with their jobs.Keywords : profile, graduates, family welfare department
