Abstract

This study aims to describe mathematical communication ability based on math anxiety in 10th grade student. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 36 students of class X MIPA 5 at SMA Negeri 1 Lasem in the academic year 2020/2021. The research data were collected through questionnaires, tests, interviews, and observations. The data analysis technique in this study was done through a process of reduction, categorization, and data validity. Based on the results of the study, there were students who had high, moderate, and low math anxiety. Mathematical communication ability of students with moderate and high math anxiety, there is the fact that there are those who master writing problems into mathematical modeling, solving mathematical problems, and making a settlement conclusion; some only mastered writing mathematical problems into mathematical modeling but did not master solving mathematical problems and making a settlement conclusion; there were also those who mastered writing mathematical problems into mathematical modeling and solving mathematical problems but did not master making a conclusion. Meanwhile, students' mathematical communication ability with low math anxiety mastered writing mathematical problems into mathematical modeling, solving mathematical problems, and making a settlement conclusion.

Abstract

Fenomena menunggu merupakan hal yang mendasari adanya suatu antrian untuk bisa mendapatkan pelayanan. Dalam artikel ini akan dikaji model antrian dan proses pelayanan pelanggan pada loket penjualan tiket kereta api Kaligung di Stasiun Poncol Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi beberapa tahap, yaitu studi pustaka, merumuskan masalah, pengambilan data, analisis dan pemecahan masalah, serta penarikan simpulan. Pengambilan data dilakukan selama 3 hari dengan metode observasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis melalui beberapa langkah, yaitu menentukan distribusi peluang dari data dengan uji kebaikan suai (goodness of fit test) – chi square, menentukan model antrian, dan menentukan efektifitas proses pelayanan pelanggan dengan menghitung ukuran-ukuran kinerja dari model antrian. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa sistem antrian pada loket penjualan tiket kereta api Kaligung memiliki laju kedatangan yang berdistribusi Poisson, laju pelayanan yang berdistribusi general (umum), memiliki satu pelayan, dan kapasitas sistem serta sumber yang tak terbatas. Simpulan yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini adalah sistem antrian pada loket penjualan tiket kereta api Kaligung di Stasiun Poncol Semarang mengikuti model (M/G/1/~/~). Proses pelayanan pelanggan berlangsung efektif dilihat dari kriteria rata-rata waktu pelayanan standar untuk kapasitas maksimal kereta selama kurun waktu pelayanan loket.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability learning (PSA) is a fundamental problem that needs to be developed in learning mathematics at school. In this research mathematical modeling strategies (MMS) are developed for problem solving. This study aims to investigate how the implementation of MMS for problem-solving in mathematics learning. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 34 Semarang. This research used sequential explanatory design. The quantitative research design is a quasi experimental design with the nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. Data collection techniques used in this study are documentation, tests, scale, interview, and observation, then processed with a classical completeness test, t-test, and proportion test. The results of this study indicate that (1) PSA on the application of mathematical modelling strategies on Brain-Based Learning (BBL) has achieved classical mastery learning; (2) the PSA of the experimental class by applying mathematical modeling strategies to Brain-Based Learning is better than the control class that uses the Problem Based Learning; and (3) two subjects with high category self-efficacy (SE) have high PSA, two SE subjects are categorized having middle PSA, and two low SE subjects have a low PSA.

Abstract

Problem Solving Ability (PSA) is the ability of students to determine how to solve a mathematical problems that have not yet been known how to solve it. Abstract mathematical concepts become obstacles in solving mathematical problems. Mathematical Modeling Strategy (MMS) is one ways that can be used to improve students' problem solving ability. In addition, one learning model that can improve students' problem solving ability is Generative Learning Model (GLM). The purpose of this study is to (1) find out whether the results of the PSA test achieve mastery learning, (2) find out whether the results of the PSA test have improved, (3) find out the relationship between the level of Mathematics Self-Efficacy (MSE) on students' PSA, and (4) describe the PSA in terms of students' MSE. The research method that used is mixed methods with quantitative methods using Pre-Experimental Design that modela is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample was taken with a multistage cluster sampling technique and research subjects were selected with a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that; (1) students' PSA achieve a mastery learning, (2) students' PSA have increased, (3) there is a positive influence between the level of MSE on students' PSA, (4) students with high levels of MSE tend to have better PSA than students with moderate and low levels of MSE.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pemodelan ARFIMA pada data kecepatan angin di Bandara Internasional Ahmad Yani dalam frekuensi harian. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan identifikasi long memory pada data kecepatan angin di Bandara Internasional Ahmad Yani yang memberikan hasil bahwa data diindikasikan mempunyai sifat long memory. Selanjutnya dilakukan pembentukan model ARFIMA(p,d,q) dengan menentukan nilai estimasi parameter menggunakan metode Geweke and Porter-Hudak (GPH) dan Rescaled Range Statistics (R/S). Model terbaik dipilih berdasarkan nilai AIC terkecil. Model terbaik untuk ARFIMA(p,d,q) dengan dGPH = 0,346 adalah model ARFIMA(0,d,[2]) dengan nilai AIC -1384,527. Model terbaik untuk ARFIMA(p,d,q) dengan dR/S = 0,224 adalah model ARFIMA(0,d,1) dengan nilai AIC -1385,62. Tingkat akurasi peramalan didasarkan pada nilai RMSE, MAE, dan MAPE. Nilai eror validasi peramalan model ARFIMA (0,d,[2]) dengan adalah RMSE 0,74966754, MAE 0,593468, dan MAPE 10,45511. Nilai eror pada validasi peramalan model ARFIMA(0,d,1) dengan adalah RMSE 0,7898162, MAE 0,6295811, dan MAPE 10,75531.

Abstract

The tripadvisor site provides information on visitor reviews of The Wujil Resort & Conventions. Each visitor can provide a review in the form of criticism, suggestions, or ratings of the hotel. The number of incoming reviews, it requires a special technique to extract information from these reviews. This study aims to analyze the sentiment of the review data using the Naive Bayes Classifier method. Web scraping is used to get data online on website pages, namely collecting visitor review data for The Wujil Resort & Conventions. The process of classifying the review data will be carried out using machine learning using the Naive Bayes Classifier method. Furthermore, the classification results will be analyzed using the text mining method, the main concept is to carry out extensive exploration and extraction with a large and growing number of data. So that we find facts and information that are considered important and can be useful for various fields of purpose. The classification using the Naive Bayes method shows an accuracy rate of 76.6%. In general, with the text mining method, information is obtained that there are more visitors who give positive ratings than visitors who give negative ratings.

Abstract

Gojek merupakan perusahaan decacorn dari Indonesia yang berkembang sangat pesat. Dengan semakin banyaknya pengguna aplikasi Gojek membuat perusahaan harus senantiasa menjaga dan meningkatkan mutu pelayanannya. Analisis sentimen merupakan solusi untuk mengekstrak sebuah sumber informasi dalam bentuk teks dengan jumlah data yang besar dalam waktu yang singkat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan klasifikasi pada ulasan Aplikasi Gojek menggunakan metode Support Vector Machine (SVM) dan K Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Sumber data terbaik untuk mendapatkan dataset dalam penelitian analisis sentimen adalah Google Playstore, dikarenakan data yang diperoleh lebih bersih dan tidak mengandung unsur iklan atupun promosi. Diperoleh hasil akurasi menggunakan Metode KNN dengan nilai K=22 memperoleh nilai akurasi, presisi, dan recall berturut-turut sebesar 82,14%, 82,28%, dan 95,43%, sedangkan metode SVM dengan kernel linear dan parameter C=1 memperoleh nilai akurasi, presisi, dan recall berturut-turut sebesar 87,98%, 88,55%, dan 95,43%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode SVM melakukan klasifikasi dengan lebih baik dibandingkan metode KNN dalam melakukan analisis sentimen pada ulasan aplikasi Gojek di Google Playstore.

Abstract

Kemampuan berfikir kreatif matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kemampuan berfikir kreatif matematis siswa dipengaruhi oleh kecerdasan yang dimiliki siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis proses berfikir kreatif siswa ditinjau dari kecerdasan majemuk siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek siswa kelas IX B MTs Nurul Muslim Jepara. Analisis data terdiri dari reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan proses berfikir kreatif matematis siswa ditinjau dari kecerdasan majemuk. Indikator kemampuan berfikir kreatuf matematis dalam penelitian ini adalah Kelancaran (fluency), Kelenturan (flexibility), Orisinalitas (originality) dan Elaborasi (elaboration). Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan logis matematis dan interpersonal mampu menyelesaikan semua indikator kemampuan berfikir kreatif matematis, (2) siswa yang memliki kecerdasan visual spasial, musikal, naturalis mampu menyelesaikan indikator kelancaran, kelenturan dan orisinalitas, (3) siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan verbal linguistik, kinestetik dan intrapersonal baru mampu menyelesaikan indikator kelancaran dan kelenturan saja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kemampuan berpikir kreatif berdasarkan tipe Adversity Quotient (climber, camper, dan quitter) pada pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Systematic literature review. Tahap penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu menentukan topik penelitian, menentukan kriteria pencarian jurnal, melakukan pencarian jurnal, meyeleksi beberapa jurnal, melakukan kajian, dan menuliskan kajian dalam bentuk tulisan sesuai dengan format yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan tipe climber memiliki usaha yang tinggi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan berbagai kemungkinan solusi dan strategi baru. Siswa dengan tipe camper memiliki kemauan untuk berusaha untuk menemukan berbagai kemungkinan solusi dan strategi baru tetapi cepat puas dengan hasil yang dicapai. Siswa denga tipe quitter mudah menyerah ketika menemukan kesulitan. Beberapa hasil penelitian mengungkapkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif belum dicapai secara optimal khususnya pada siswa dengan tipe camper dan climber.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the level of probabilistic thinking ability possessed by students in solving opportunity story problems in senior high schools. The survey was conducted at a high school in Semarang City with 135 students in class X. A qualitative descriptive method is used to analyze the level of probabilistic thinking ability with samples taken by grouping the results of test work based on the level of probabilistic thinking ability (subjective, transitional, informal quantitative, and numerical) obtained 3 groups, so that each group is taken 1 student, so the sample is 3 out of 135 students. Data collection was carried out through a test sheet which contained one word problem about opportunity. The results of the study show that: (1) students have difficulty recognizing events that are certain to occur and are unlikely to occur; (2) only 3 levels of probabilistic thinking ability can be achieved, including 28% subjective, 45% transitive, and 27% quantitative informal; and (3) accustoming students to solving non-routine problems can develop probabilistic thinking ability.
