Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status on the incidence of anemia in the elderly. This research method descriptive design-correlation with cross-sectional studies. Correlational study aimed to determine the correlation between variables. This research conducted at the health center of Pekanbaru Simpang Tiga to 40 elderly people . The sampling method is to use accidental sampling. Measuring instruments in use is the observation sheet consisting of initials, age, sex, IMT values​​, and levels of hemoglobin. Analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis is by using ANOVA test. The results of this study showed no association between nutritional status on the incidence of anemia in the elderly (p > α (0,05) is (p = 0,792). The results of this study indicate that the elderly have normal nutritional status because of lifestyle factors such as eating good nutritious food and food various every day.   Key word: anemia, elderly, nutrition, status

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of health education by using audio visual media for knowledge and healthy life behavior to prevent spreading lung tuberculosis. The design of this research was quasy experiment by applicatied of health education through audio-visual media. The research was conducted in Puskesmas Harapan Raya Pekanbaru with 30 respondens who are taken by used purposive sampling technique. The data was colected by used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity (0,482 – 0,959 and 0.484 – 0.834) and reliability (0,906 and 0.909). Data colected was analysis by univariate and bivariate using dependent t test and independent t test. The results showed that there was very significan the health education to prevent spreading by audio visual to increase knowledge and healthy life behaviour in the experimental group after the health education given with p value (0,000). According the result of research, health provider need provide regulerly health education by audio visual to prevent and enchance knowledge of people who has diagnose tuberculosis.   Keyword : audio visual, health education, healthy life behaviour, Knowledge,  lung tuberculosis.

Abstract

The knowledge about personal hygiene is one of the factors that influence someone on scabies preventing and spreading. The purpose of this research was to know the description of students’knowledge about personal hygiene at dormitory. The design of this research was descriptive. The sample of this research were 154 respondents which was taken by stratified random sampling technique and appropriate with inclusion criteria. The instrument of this research were questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of the respondents characteristic such us class, age, gender, duration of living in the dormitory, and knowing the description of students’ knowledge about personal hygiene in preventing scabies. The result of this research, the majority of respondent in the age of 13 were 75 students (48.7%), the gender was almost between male and female students. There were 76 male (49.3%) and 78 female (50.7%), for class distribution, 88 students from seven grade (57.1%). The long duration of living in dormitory data, 88 students (57.1%) lived in the dormitory less than 1 year. Students of had good knowledge about personal hygiene in preventing scabies, that were 79 (51.3%). The good knowledge is not enough to prevent scabies, but the personal hygiene to decrease because need education for preventing of scabies disease.Keywords : scabies, knowledge, personal hygiene, preventing

Abstract

  Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the satisfaction of the patient's family describe of health care in the HCU. The research method was descriptive, to expressed satisfaction about the patient's family health services in the HCU Dr. RM. Pratomo Bagan Siapi-api Rokan Hilir involving 30 respondents. The sampling method wasaccidental sampling. Measuring tool used was questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Univariate analysis was used. The results showed that the majority of respondents were early adulthood (96.7%), male (53.3%), high school (43.3%), entrepreneur (53.3%), respondents relationship the patient was a child (56.7%), long us stay patient at the HCU 2 days (50%). Based on the level of satisfaction obtained category of respondents who are satisfied as much as 16 people (53.3%) and the response was not satisfied as many as 14 people (46.7%). Results of this study recommend nurses can perform a variety of management satisfaction about the patient's family health services in the HCU. Keywords: satisfaction, health services, HCU. Abstract

This research purpose to know how the relationship of supported family with psychomotor from patient tuberculosis of the lungs to control repeated in Sidomulyo’s Puskesmas. This research use a correlative description method and use cross sectional curses. The sample are 41 respondens that taken use purposive sampling technique. The tool used for this research was a quationaire with 27 statements. An analysis is bivariate analysis using Chi square test. The result of this research showed that 95,7% respondens from positive supported family and routine control. Then respondens with positive supported family and doesn’t routine control that 4,3%. And then result from negative supported family and respondens routine control that 50.0%. As soon as respondens have negative supported family and doesn’t routine control that 50,0%. The result of statistics that P value = 0,001 < α = 0,05 is relationship between supported family and psychomotor from tuberculosis of the lungs to control repeated in Sidomulyo’s Puskesmas.   Keywords: supported family, psychomotor, patient tuberculosis of the lungs, control repeated

Abstract

Hypertension is a health problem that occurs in elderly which can cause various complications, like a cognitive function disorders. This study aims to know the description cognitive function on elderly people with hypertension in public health center area in Payung Sekaki, Pekanbaru. The design of research was desriptive with the sample of this research were 86 persons using purposive sampling technique. Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) applied to measure cognitive which has been stated valid. The research showed that the majority of research subject 60-74 years (erderly) old were 64 respondents (74,4%), 53 respondents (61,6%) were women, 79 respondents (91,9%) were moslems, 40 respondents (46,5%) were minangness, 44 respondents (51,2%) were elementary background, 47 respondents (54,7%) were already widower, 52 respondents (60,5%) were not answer. Respondents with elderly hypertension dont be controlled impaired cognitive function were 32 respondents (59,3%), a history not routine health control impaired cognitive function were 27 respondents (60,0%), while on the time of getting hypertension that impaired cognitive function were at (≥5 years) consist of 42 respondents (89,4%). It is recommended that health workers can provide health education like the importance of contolling blood pressure, early detection of impaired cognitive function and memory exercises to improve cognitive function in elderly hypertension.Keywords:cognitive function, elderly, hypertension

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengidentifitasi hubungan sosial teman sebaya dengan body image pada remaja di SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 80 responden siswa kelas XI dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian adalah kuesioner yang sudah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa mayoritas responden berusia 17 tahun sebanyak (47,5%), jenis kelamin perempuan (72,5%), dukungan sosial teman sebaya kategori tinggi (56,2%), dan body image pada kategori positif (58,8%). Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Chi Square. Hasil uji statistik menghasilkan p value (0,000) < alpha (0,05) maka disimpulkan ada hubungan signifikan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan body image pada remaja. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan remaja untuk memberi dukungan sosial teman sebaya kepada remaja-remaja yang memiliki body image negatif untuk tetap merasa puas terhadap body image mereka

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji hubungan antara tingkat stres kerja dengan kinerja perawat di poliklinik jiwa. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review yaitu memerikksa literature ilmiah tentang suatu topic secara kritis. Artikel yang digunakan yang berhubungan dengan stres kerja dan kinerja perawat dan artikel tahun 2015-2020 menggunakan Google Schoolar dan Sematic Scholar. Dari 720 artikel, hanya 6  yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Berdasarkan hasil review, empat dari enam artikel menggunakan uji chi-square dan ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat stres kerja dengan kinerja perawat  rumah sakit. Dua artikel lainnya menggunakan uji korelasi dan sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa tingkat stres dalam pekerjaan perawat memiliki hubungan negatif yang lemah dengan kinerja perawat. Singkatnya, kinerja perawat juga dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor lain. Ada hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kinerja perawat di rumah sakit. Dengan kata lain, semakin banyak pekerjaan yang dilakukan perawat, semakin rendah kinerjanya. Kajian tentang faktor-faktor lain yang berhubungan dengan stres kerja dan kinerja perawat.

Abstract

The increasing of age decreases the physical health of elderly. Unhealthy life style and ignoring the program of preventing the transmission of COVID-19 caused the elderly easy to be infected by deseases due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Generally, the erderly are less concerned to the effort of preventing the transmission of COVID-19 as suggessted by the government. Cross sectional approach was applied in this study. The sample in this study were 98 participants. The sample were taken by using purposive sampling. A questionairre of perception, attitude, and the health protocols implementation during COVID-19 pandemic was used to collect the data. The validity and reliability of the questionniare has been tested. In analyzing the data, the researcher used univariate and bivaiate of chi square test. The result of analysis showed that the majority of elderlies’ perception of efforts to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 was negative or had negative response (67.3%). Furthermore, the attitude of the elderly majority refuses to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 (64.3%). In addition, the majority of erderly did not apply the health protocols implementation (5M) during the pandemic (66.3%). Bivariate analysis showed that the p value is less than 0.05. There is a significant correlation between the perceptions and attitudes of the elderly in the effort to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 with the health protocols implementation with p-values of 0.002 and 0.011 < (0.05). Abstract

Sports activity is one form of intervention in an effort to prevent diseases that experienced by the elderly one of which is hypertension. This study aims to determine the relationship between exercise activity in the elderly with hypertension and the level of hypertension in the working area of the Kemalaraja Health Center, Baturaja, South Sumatra. This research is a quantitative research that uses a descriptive descriptive research design. The sample of this study was 73 elderly people who were taken based on inclusion criteria by using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were a questionnaire, a sphygmomanometer, and a stethoscope. The statistical tests used in this study were the chi-square test and the man whitney test. There were 43 elderly respondents (58.9%) which showed that sports activities carried out by the elderly were optimal. The statistical test results obtained showed that there was a significant relationship between exercise activity in hypertensive elderly and hypertension level with p value (0.001)> alpha (0.05). There is a significant relationship between exercise activity in hypertensive elderly with hypertension level. Keywords: Connection, Elderly, Hypertension, Hypertension Levels, Sports Activities
