Abstract

Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh lemahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep daur hidup hewan serta terbatasnya ketersediaan media pembelajaran yang mendukung proses belajar dalam memecahkan masalah. Media pembelajaran yang umum digunakan di sekolah dasar belum sepenuhnya mampu memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dalam menguasai materi secara komprehensif. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran audiovisual yang berbasis pendekatan STEAM dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah pada materi daur hidup hewan. Dalam penelitian ini diterapkan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Penelitian ini melibatkan 46 siswa kelas IV yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu 26 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 20 siswa kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pre-test dan post-test, dengan analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan nilai 0,097 untuk pre-test dan 0,110 untuk post-test, yang mengindikasikan data berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,371, menandakan kesamaan varian antar kelompok. Selanjutnya, uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan signifikansi 0,001, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik antara skor pre-test dan post-test. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media audiovisual berbasis STEAM efektif sebagai inovasi pembelajaran IPA yang selaras dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Disarankan agar penelitian lanjutan menguji efektivitas media sejenis pada topik IPA lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, effectiveness and practicality of the product development of picture book media based on local wisdom. The type of research is development research (R&D) with the type of ADDIE research model. Product trials were conducted using limited and extended trials. The research subjects were on a small scale in the fourth grade of SDN Mrican 1, which amounted to 10 students, while the subjects of the large-scale trial were conducted on the fourth grade students of SDN Mrican 2, which amounted to 43 students. The feasibility analysis test of the product developed was determined through the results of material validation, media validation, and the practice of trial use by students and teachers using descriptive analysis. Test the effectiveness and practicality using a t-test using a questionnaire. The results of the study show (1) product validity scores 92 very valid categories, while material validation scores 89 very valid categories. (2) Product effectiveness gets an average score of 88 in the effective category. (3) The practicality of the product received a score of 92 very practical categories. It can be concluded that the development of picture book media based on local wisdom is very feasible to use in the learning process and can improve learning outcomes for students in learning material

Abstract

Pendidikan Pancasila memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan moral siswa sejak usia dini, khususnya di jenjang sekolah dasar. Namun, pembelajaran nilai-nilai Pancasila sering kali masih bersifat teoritis dan kurang menarik perhatian siswa, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman sekaligus motivasi belajar siswa, salah satunya melalui penggunaan media Kartu Ajaib Nusantara yang menggabungkan unsur permainan edukatif dengan materi kebangsaan. Melalui kajian sistematis terhadap berbagai penelitian yang relevan, Systematic Literature Review (SLR) ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media Kartu Ajaib Nusantara dalam meningkatkan pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Rumusan pertanyaan penelitian (Research Questions) dalam kajian ini adalah: (1) sejauh mana efektivitas media pembelajaran Kartu Ajaib Nusantara dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas IV SD terhadap penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila, dan (2) bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan media Kartu Ajaib Nusantara terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD dalam mempelajari materi nilai-nilai Pancasila. Hasil SLR menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Kartu Ajaib Nusantara terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterlibatan aktif, dan motivasi belajar siswa, serta berkontribusi dalam menumbuhkan sikap positif dan semangat kebangsaan sejak dini.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop an innovative and effective learning media in learning activities using the KOKELOJO (Jombang Local Wisdom Comics) media that can be used by teachers and students in improving the ability to identify residential environments that focus on the value of local wisdom of the residential environment, especially in Jombang Regency which is integrated into the Pancasila Education class IV elementary school learning subjects. The background of this research is based on the low integration of local cultural values and the development of learning media based on local wisdom values that are integrated into learning activities. The type used in this study is that this type of research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The test subjects amounted to 42 elementary school grade IV students. The data collection technique was carried out at the effectiveness test stage through pretest and posttest tests through a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis with N-Gain calculation to find out the improvement in student learning outcomes after using media. The results showed an increase in the average score from the pretest of 67.33 to 84.61 in the posttest, with an N-Gain value of 0.53 which was classified as a medium category. This indicates an improvement in students' cognitive abilities, especially in identifying the living environment with a local cultural value-based approach. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that KOKELOJO media is effectively used in learning Pancasila Education in fostering students' appreciation of the diversity of local cultures in the residential environment.

Abstract

Elementary school students’ numeracy literacy skills remain low, particularly in understanding the concepts of two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes, due to the limited use of instructional media. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of an augmented reality-based pocket book in improving students’ numeracy literacy. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study involved 100 students from five elementary schools in Pakel District, using a pretest–posttest design. Data analysis was conducted using the N-Gain test to measure the improvement in students’ skills after utilizing the media. The results revealed an N-Gain score of 0.85, which falls into the high category, indicating a significant improvement in students’ understanding of mathematical concepts through interactive visualization. Thus, the augmented reality-based pocket book is proven to be effective and feasible for broader implementation in elementary numeracy literacy learning.
