Mathematical literacy is a crucial aspect of mathematics learning, yet it remains a significant challenge among students. While previous research has largely emphasized instructional approaches to enhance mathematical literacy, there is a lack of focus on the underlying difficulties faced by students, particularly in relation to self-regulated learning (SRL). This study aims to explore the problems in mathematical literacy encountered by vocational high school students at SMK Negeri 2 Bawang, Banjarnegara Regency, on exponential material, analyzed through their SRL levels. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved three student subjects representing high, medium, and low SRL categories. Data collection was conducted using a mathematical literacy test, an SRL questionnaire, and interviews. The results indicate that variations in SRL levels significantly influence the types of difficulties students experience. Students with low SRL face extensive challenges, including understanding problem contexts, constructing mathematical models, and interpreting results. Those with medium SRL can comprehend the problems but struggle with selecting appropriate solution strategies and accurately representing contextual situations in mathematical forms. Meanwhile, students with high SRL exhibit systematic and reflective thinking yet encounter obstacles in connecting mathematical results to real-life contexts. These findings underscore the role of SRL in shaping students' mathematical literacy challenges. Further research is recommended to investigate additional internal factors affecting mathematical literacy to develop more adaptive and targeted instructional strategies.

Creative thinking skills are important in learning mathematics. However, many students have difficulty thinking creatively, especially in the subject of transformation geometry. Initial observations at Putra Harapan Boarding School Junior High School Purwokerto show that most grade IX students have difficulty in showing aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration when solving transformation geometry problems. This study aims to analyze creative thinking problems in grade IX students in solving transformation geometry problems. The research method used was qualitative descriptive with the research subjects of three students selected based on the category of high, medium, and low initial ability with purposive sampling techniques. The research instruments were in the form of descriptive tests and semi-structured interviews. The data analysis technique uses triangulation. The results showed that students with high ability categories showed good creative performance formally, but experienced difficulties in the depth of conceptual thinking and originality of ideas. Students with moderate abilities have the potential for fluency and originality, but experience challenges in flexibility and elaboration of thinking. Students with low ability showed problems on all indicators of creative thinking. This study recommends the use of deep learning approaches to improve students' creative thinking skills.

Gumelem batik is batik made by the people of Gumelem Village, Susukan District, Banjarnegara Regency, One of the typical Gumelem batik producers who still maintains the traditional method making batik is the “Wardah” batik house owned by Mr. Budi Triono. The typical motifs of this batik are the sekar jagad motif, the udan liris motif, the arjuna temple motif, and the dawet ayu banjarnegara motif. Batik cloth culture has been recognized as an intangible world heritage, but its benefits are limited to the cloth. It is still rare for people to use batik culture as a mathematics learning medium. Mathematics that combines cultural concepts with mathematical elements is called ethnomathematics. In this research, typical Gumelem batik motifs will be discussed mathematically using the concept of geometric transformation. The method used descriptive-qualitative, with an ethnographic approach. The result of the research is that, for several typical Gumelem motifs analyzed, it turns out that all of three motifs contain mathematical elements, namely geometric transformation. Culture and mathematics are two things that are interrelated, but most people do not realize that they have linked mathematics to their habits and culture. Banyumas is an area in Central Java that has many cultures, and one of these cultures is Banyumasan batik. Banyumasan batik is very famous in Banyumas because it is used by local people as traditional clothing and is even worn by employees on certain days. However, the use of Banyumasan batik is limited to clothing and has not been used in learning, even though the learning material could be more interesting. The aim of this research is to reveal mathematical elements, especially geometric transformations in Banyumasan batik. An ethnographic approach was used in this research, and data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, documents, and ethnographic notes. Data analysis is based on the meaning and translation of the phenomena found, as well as the informants' understanding of these phenomena and their original language, which is combined verbally with the researcher's language after in-depth understanding through group discussions. The research results show that Banyumasan batik contains geometric transformation elements that can be used in mathematics learning. There is a big difference between the mathematics problems taught in school and the mathematics that exists in society. As a result, educators face difficulties in modeling formal mathematical concepts with mathematical problems that occur in everyday life. By connecting mathematics learning with culture it will help the learning process. This will make it easier for educators to understand the topics being studied because they are relevant to everyday life. The aim of this research is to explore the concept of geometry in the Muhammad Cheng Hoo Purbalingga mosque. Data collection methods use interviews, observation and documentation. The camera is the tools and materials used. The data presentation is given in the form of images, along with a description of the ethnomathematics values that exist in the mosque. This research shows that the Muhammad Cheng Hoo Mosque in Purbalingga combines three cultural elements, namely Chinese, Arabic and Javanese. The results of this research show that the Muhammad Cheng Hoo mosque contains geometric elements, namely flat shapes, spatial shapes and transformations. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Purwokerto pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV) dan hubungannya dengan motivasi belajarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang mengukur tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa dan motivasi belajarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan pemahaman konsep SPLDV. Siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi cenderung memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap materi SPLDV dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi para pendidik untuk meningkatkan strategi pengajaran dan memotivasi siswa dalam mempelajari matematika.

Matematika kerap kali dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit oleh peserta didik. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, model Flipped Classroom hadir sebagai inovasi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa melalui pembelajaran mandiri sebelum tatap muka di kelas. Model ini menempatkan siswa sebagai subjek aktif dengan mempelajari materi terlebih dahulu secara mandiri sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Namun, efektivitas model ini dalam konteks matematika masih menunjukkan hasil yang bervariasi, sehingga diperlukan kajian lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana efektivitas model Flipped Classroom diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan melalui publikasi ilmiah yang diterbitkan dalam delapan tahun terakhir, yaitu pada rentang tahun 2018 hingga 2025 melalui database seperti Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, dan SpringerLink, dengan fokus pada efektivitas, dampak, serta faktor keberhasilan model Flipped Classroom dalam pembelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, implementasi model Flipped Classroom terbukti efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah bagi siswa. Selain itu, keberhasilan model ini dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan siswa, akses terhadap teknologi, serta strategi implementasi guru. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, serta menjadi rujukan bagi pendidik dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan model Flipped Classroom dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Based on the setting for determining criminal policies that are in accordance with the values of people's lives, the setting for determining criminal policies is contained in the Criminal Code as general provisions and in the special criminal provisions of Law No. 35 of 2009 as a special crime that regulates narcotics. Based on this, the problem that will be discussed is how the monodualistic principle in eradicating criminal acts of narcotics abuse committed by children is contrary to the law related to Law No. 35 of 2009 and Law No. 11 of 2012. This research is normative juridical research, namely research conducted by examining library materials or secondary data. In terms of implementing the diversion, there are several things that make it impossible. This research aims to analyze judicial discretion in sentencing perpetrators of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury. The research method employed is normative legal research with a statute approach and a case study approach, which is analyzed qualitatively through content analysis. The results show that the defendant was charged alternatively with a primary indictment of attempted murder, a subsidiary indictment of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury, and a lesser subsidiary indictment of simple assault. The charges by the Public Prosecutor were in line with the subsidiary indictment of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury as supported by the Visum et Repertum. Conversely, the judge’s verdict, based on the lesser subsidiary indictment of simple assault, emphasizes judicial discretion. Judicial discretion is an effort to balance the enforcement of positive law and the achievement of substantive justice by considering the values that live in society (living law). The decision reflects the struggle between formal legality and contextual substantive justice. Therefore, more precise guidelines are needed regarding the limits and parameters of judicial discretion, especially in cases that intersect with living law. Improving the quality of the Visum et Repertum and strengthening judges’ capacity to understand living law are also important to strive for in order to achieve a responsive and just judicial system.

Keterampilan dalam matematika menjadi sangat penting pada abad ke-21 saat ini, salah satu hal yang menjadi perhatian adalah kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi ujian matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan siswa SMP Negeri 1 Maos dalam menghadapi ujian matematika dengan memperhatikan beberapa indikator mencakup aspek kepercayaan diri, kebiasaan belajar, kecemasan, pemahaman, waktu, dukungan eksternal, konsentrasi, dan motivasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 26 siswa kelas IX yang dipilih secara acak. Prosedur penelitian meliputi penyusunan, penyebaran, dan analisis angket, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Angket terdiri dari 30 pernyataan dengan skala Likert. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri dan dukungan eksternal siswa berada pada tingkat tinggi, kebiasaan belajar berada pada tingkat sedang, sementara kecemasan, pemahaman, dan motivasi berada pada tingkat sangat rendah. Indikator-indikator yang sangat rendah ini perlu mendapat perhatian lebih dari guru dalam perencanaan pembelajaran.
