Abstract

The tradition of memorizing the Koran at the Rumah Tahfidz Baitu Usysyaqil Quran (RT BUQ) Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, contains various applications of mathematics but is not widely known from a mathematics learning perspective. This research aims to reveal the phenomenon of applying mathematics to the tradition of memorizing the Koran at RT BUQ as an innovation in contextual mathematics learning based on local culture and with Islamic nuances. This ethnographic research is at RTBUQ Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The subjects in this research were Muhammad Husna (R-1) and Sur'ati Istiqomah (R-2), RTBUQ supervisors, and Muhammad Azka (R-3), RTBUQ students. Data collection uses in-depth interview techniques, observation, field notes and documentation. Data were analyzed using the results of interpretation and translation of phenomena found based on the informant's conception of the meaning and original language of the informant with the researcher's language after in-depth understanding through focus group discussions (FGD). The research results show that the tradition of memorizing the Koran at RTBUQ involves using sets, number patterns, sequences and arithmetic series. The findings of this research can be recommended to strengthen mathematics learning based on local wisdom and Islamic nuances

Abstract

Gumelem batik is batik made by the people of Gumelem Village, Susukan District, Banjarnegara Regency, One of the typical Gumelem batik producers who still maintains the traditional method making batik is the “Wardah” batik house owned by Mr. Budi Triono. The typical motifs of this batik are the sekar jagad motif, the udan liris motif, the arjuna temple motif, and the dawet ayu banjarnegara motif. Batik cloth culture has been recognized as an intangible world heritage, but its benefits are limited to the cloth. It is still rare for people to use batik culture as a mathematics learning medium. Mathematics that combines cultural concepts with mathematical elements is called ethnomathematics. In this research, typical Gumelem batik motifs will be discussed mathematically using the concept of geometric transformation. The method used descriptive-qualitative, with an ethnographic approach. The result of the research is that, for several typical Gumelem motifs analyzed, it turns out that all of three motifs contain mathematical elements, namely geometric transformation. Abstract

Culture and mathematics are two things that are interrelated, but most people do not realize that they have linked mathematics to their habits and culture. Banyumas is an area in Central Java that has many cultures, and one of these cultures is Banyumasan batik. Banyumasan batik is very famous in Banyumas because it is used by local people as traditional clothing and is even worn by employees on certain days. However, the use of Banyumasan batik is limited to clothing and has not been used in learning, even though the learning material could be more interesting. The aim of this research is to reveal mathematical elements, especially geometric transformations in Banyumasan batik. An ethnographic approach was used in this research, and data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, documents, and ethnographic notes. Data analysis is based on the meaning and translation of the phenomena found, as well as the informants' understanding of these phenomena and their original language, which is combined verbally with the researcher's language after in-depth understanding through group discussions. The research results show that Banyumasan batik contains geometric transformation elements that can be used in mathematics learning. Keywords: Banyumasan Batik, Culture, Geometry Transformation, Math

Abstract

There is a big difference between the mathematics problems taught in school and the mathematics that exists in society. As a result, educators face difficulties in modeling formal mathematical concepts with mathematical problems that occur in everyday life. By connecting mathematics learning with culture it will help the learning process. This will make it easier for educators to understand the topics being studied because they are relevant to everyday life. The aim of this research is to explore the concept of geometry in the Muhammad Cheng Hoo Purbalingga mosque. Data collection methods use interviews, observation and documentation. The camera is the tools and materials used. The data presentation is given in the form of images, along with a description of the ethnomathematics values that exist in the mosque. This research shows that the Muhammad Cheng Hoo Mosque in Purbalingga combines three cultural elements, namely Chinese, Arabic and Javanese. The results of this research show that the Muhammad Cheng Hoo mosque contains geometric elements, namely flat shapes, spatial shapes and transformations. Abstract

Rasa ingin tahu merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dirujuk sebagai kemampuan untuk mengajukan pertanyaan yang mendalam, mencari jawaban, dan mengeksplorasi konsep-konsep baru secara aktif. Dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika, rasa ingin tahu menjadi penggerak utama bagi siswa untuk lebih memahami konsep dan menyelesaikan masalah dengan pendekatan yang inovatif dan kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui angket di SMP/MTs di Kabupaten Panican, Purbalingga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki rasa ingin tahu terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa sikap bertanya, eksplorasi lebih lanjut, dan ketertarikan mendalam dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran matematika yang mendorong siswa untuk aktif bertanya dan menunjukkan ketertarikan yang mendalam dapat meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap matematika. Sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan sikap rasa ingin tahu terhadap pembelajaran.

Abstract

Aisyiyah saat ini dan ke depan secara khusus akan berhadapan dengan realitas kehidupan dan dinamika kebangsaan yang meniscayakan hadir sebagai gerakan Perempuan Islam Berkemajuan untuk membangun peradaban bangsa. Perempuan berkemajuan yang diusung oleh Aisyiyah memerlukan strategi dan pendekatan untuk mewujudkannya diantaranya adalah dengan kepemimpinan berbasis spiritual leadership. Pengabdian dimaksudkan membekali para pimpinan Aisyiyah dengan kepemimpinan spiritual yang mampu menjawab tantangan masa depan yakni menyiapkan perempuan berkemajuan berbasis spiritual leadership. Metode pengabdian dengan parsipatoris aktif dialogis dengan melibatkan keaktifan peserta untuk kesuksesan pengabdian . Metode dengan ceramah, shering, tanya jawab dan praktek Perempuan berkemajuan berbasis spiritual leadership. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan; 1) peserta bertambah pemahaman dan wawasannya tentang  perempuan berkemajuan berbasis spiritual leadership sebanyak 95 % yakni sebanyak 38 peserta. 2)  skill/ keterampilan peserta meningkat sebanyak 90 % yakni sebanyak 36 peserta yang berarti pelatihan mampu memberikan keterampilan perempuan berkemajuan berbasis spiritual leadership di Aisyiyah dan 3) munculnya perempuan berkemajuan di lingkungan Aisyiyah  berbasis spiritual leadership yang dapat dibuktikan pada masa mendatang. Dengan demikian pelatihan berhasil menyelesaikan permasalahan perempuan berkemajuan berbasis spiritual leadership pada pimpinan Daerah Aisyiyah Banyumas.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the spatial geometry found in the Mandala Giri religious tourism building on Mount Srandil. The research method used in this research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data analysis techniques were carried out using data reduction, as well as draweing conclusions and verification based on the Miles and Huberman method. The results of this research found the concept of flat shapes with flat sides, namely rectangular pyramids, octagonal prisms, cubes, and blocks. The shape of the curved side room is also found in monastery buildings, namely in the form of a tube, and there is a combination of hexagonal prisms and pyramid room structures. This research shows that the culture in Indonesia can be used as material for learning mathematics.

Abstract

Mathematics as a basic science has objects that are abstract, mathematical aimed at understanding the concept by providing the ability to reason logically, systematically, critical, careful and creative so that if the mathematics are taught using the book will be hard to accept students. Junior high school students in general are still difficulties in learning mathematics in particular on the material loop. Therefore, it needs the development of more interactive learning media and can help students in the learning process, one of them with the help of Software Graphic User Interface (GUI) Matlab. The concept of a circle is presented in the form of Software GUI Matlab so that students can use to understand the concepts of geometry with ease and be more independent, and help teachers to explain the concept of the circle in the learning process. The application of the concept of the circle in Matlab GUI Software is done by constructing a circle 1. Concept definition, 2. Elements of the circle, 3. The corners of the circle, 4. Relationships angle at the center of the circle and the angle of the circle, and 5. Nature tangent to the circle . Data construction concept of one to five are arranged in Matlab GUI program to produce instructional media in the form of software.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif, seting penelitian di SMP Muhammadiyah 1Purwokerto dan SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto, karena dua sekolah tersebut telahterakreditasi dengan predikat A, dan telah melaksanakan kolaborasi kegiatan magang persekolahanbagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam S1. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: a)didapatkan hasil evaluasi magang, b) adanya pengembangan aktivitas dalam kurikulum MerdekaBelajar Kampus Merdeka, c) kompetensi lulusan dapat ditingkatkan, d) mitra mendapatkan dengankeberadaan mahasiswa magang persekolahan. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah: 1) evaluasi contexttergolong sangat baik, 2) komponen input tergolong sangat baik; 3) komponen process,pelaksanaan magang persekolahan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Namun demikian, beberapaindikator pelaksanaan magang menunjukkan keadaan yang cukup baik, 4) komponen product,magang persekolahan dapat mencapai hasil yang baik, dilakukan penilaian secara terpadu.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan dorongan yang terdapat pada suatu individu untuk mengerjakan suatu tindakan dalam konteks pembelajaran dengan maksud mencapai tujuan tertentu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis terkait peranan serta hubungan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mencari artikel yang relevan pada google scholar dengan kata kunci motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi matematika. Beberapa artikel yang digunakan oleh peneliti ialah artikel yang dipublikasikan dengan rentang waktu 2019 sampai dengan 2023. Adapun teknik analisis datanya yaitu dengan mengelompokkan artikel-artikel tersebut menjadi beberapa kelompok, kemudian diinterpretasikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa sangat berperan penting dalam peningkatan prestasi belajar, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran matematika. Selain itu, motivasi belajar juga memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Dimana semakin besar motivasi belajar yang dimiliki oleh siswa, maka prestasi belajar matematikanya juga akan semakin besar. Kata kunci :Motivasi Belajar; Prestasi Belajar Matematika.
