Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions in the new normal era, to determine the effect of price on purchasing decisions in the new normal era, to determine the effect of promotion on purchasing decisions in the new normal era, to determine the effect of product quality price and promotion on purchasing decisions in the new normal era. The population in this study were Shopee users in the city of Medan. The data analysis tools used are descriptive statistics and SPSS statistics. The results showed that product quality price and promotion partially had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously it is also known that product quality, price and promotion simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Brand image, product quality and price get a positive impression from the majority of respondents and get a significance value of 0.000, 0.001 and 0.000 respectively. From the brand image variable, it can be seen that the majority of respondents agree that Samsung smartphones have a good reputation and are innovative, thereby increasing employee confidence. The product quality variable states that Samsung smartphones are considered to have good performance and are attractive and in accordance with what is needed by employees. The price variable states that Samsung smartphones have affordable prices and are in accordance with the quality of the products needed by employees. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze whether brand image, product quality and price have an influence on purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphone products. The respondents used were employees from PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi Kualanamu International Airport. This study uses a quantitative approach and uses multiple linear regression analysis. The total population at PT Angkasa Putra Aviasi Kualanamu International Airport is 544 employees. Where the population in this research are employees at PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi Kualanamu International Airport who have used Samsung smartphones whose number is not identified so that the sample used in this study was 108 employees in the company. The results of this study indicate that brand image, product quality and price have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphone products.

Abstract

Wilmar Bisnis Indonesia Polytechnic (WBI) is an educational institution committed to becoming the best and ideal educational institution for Indonesia's young generation to be ready to compete in the increasingly competitive business world in the industrial era 4.0. One of the factors that can make prospective students decide to choose to study at the WBI Polytechnic includes the Quality of Information, Facilities, Alumni, and Brand Image. This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of information, facilities, and alumni on the decision to choose a WBI Polytechnic Campus through Brand Image as an Intervening Variable. The population in this study were active students in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 batches, totaling 396 students and the sample with the criteria for class 2021 students totaling 123 students. Data collection methods were carried out by means of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Methods and techniques of analysis of multiple regression using path analysis (path analysis). The results of the research on the direct effect on the first substructure state that simultaneously and partially, Information Quality, Facilities, and Alumni have a positive and significant effect on Brand Image. The results of the research on the direct effect on the second substructure state that simultaneously and partially, Information Quality, Facilities, Alumni, and Brand Image have a positive and significant effect on Voting Decisions. The results of the indirect effect study stated that Information Quality, Facilities, and Alumni had a positive and significant effect on Voting Decisions through Brand Image as an intervening variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of brand trust and product quality on customer loyalty through customer engagement with Toyota car users in Medan City. The research was conducted on Toyota car users in Medan City. The population of all Toyota brand car users in Medan City. Samples were taken using the Slovin formula of 150 respondents. Data analysis was performed using path analysis in the SPSS program. The results of the sub-1 analysis prove that brand trust and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer engagement. The results of the sub-2 analysis prove that brand trust and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty through customer engagement.

Abstract

The rapid development of internet technology causing significant impact of innovative disruption in any aspect of life, especially on music industry. Disruptive innovation is a very new innovation made for competing the challengers in the music industry. The people consumption of music has been shifted because of the technology. From CD’s or cassettes into digital album. These digital albums are provided by the music streaming apps. The music streaming apps need to offer the most attractive innovation to attract user’s attention in aim the user’s buying the premium package. Known that the perceived ease of use, brand awareness, and free trial can be useful in attract buying interest of the users. The music streaming apps in this theses is Spotify. The goal of this theses is to analyze the impact of percieved ease of use, brand awareness and freemium business model on buying interest of spotify users in medan city. This theses is a associative causal, quantitative approach. The population of this theses are the users of spotify apps in medan city, and the samples are 100 respondents. The sampling methods is incidental sampling. Data analysis is multiple regression analysis to be analyzed in SPSS. The results is percieved ease of use has positive and significant impact on buying interest, brand awareness has positive and significant impact on buying interest, and freemium business model has positive and significant on buying interest. The percieved ease of use, brand awareness, and freemium business have simultaneously impact on buying interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Product Knowledge, Perceived Behavior Control, and Personal Norm on Purchase Intention of SME’s Recycled Products in Medan. This research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative data. The population of this study is the unknown number of SME’s Recycled Products in Medan. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents with using accidental technique. Data analysis used Multiple Linear Analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously Product Knowledge, Perceived Behavior Control, and Personal Norm significantly influence Customer Satisfaction Purchase Intention of SME’s Recycled Products in Medan. Partially, Product Knowledge, Perceived Behavior Control, and Personal Norm has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention of SME’s Recycled Products in Medan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty and also aims to increase customer loyalty. This research used customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Medan Iskandar Muda 1 in Medan City as respondents in filling out the questionnaire as many as 170 customers. The tests used in this research are data quality tests, classical assumption tests, influence tests and hypothesis tests. From the results of this research, it was found that the influence of service quality on customer loyalty is a significant influence where the significance value is 0.001 < 0.05 and tcount is greater than ttable (3.245 > 1.653), the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty also has a significant influence where the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05 and tcount is greater than the table (3.742 > 1.653) and simultaneously service quality and customer satisfaction have a significant effect on customer loyalty where the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05 and fcount is greater than ftable (23.982 > 3.05). Meanwhile, the R2 value of 22.3% of this research is influenced by service quality and customer satisfaction variables, while the remaining 77.7% is influenced by service quality and customer satisfaction variables. influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The fashion industry experiences rapid development in today’s era and intense competition to attract consumer interaction cannot be avoided. High consumer interaction can secure a high interest for a company and high interaction is needed to remain relevant and achieve desired targets. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of entertainment factors and relatability in fashion brands’ social media marketing content on consumer interaction through personal emotion on Genz and Millennial in Medan. This research is quantitative and associative, with data collected from the documented study and a questionnaire. The population in this study were all online shopping consumers from age 18 to 35 who have one social media account on Facebook/X/Instagram/TikTok and live in Medan. The sampling method used in this study is non-probability convenience sampling, with 180 respondents taken from five areas in Medan. This study used path analysis to analyze the data. The results from this study show that the entertainment factor has a significant effect on personal emotion, both positive and negative, but no significant effect on consumer interaction. However, the entertainment factor indirectly affects consumer interaction through negative personal emotions, not positive ones. Relatability has a significant effect on positive emotion, which also has a direct significant effect on consumer interaction and a significant effect mediated through positive personal emotion, yet relatability does not influence the negative one, directly and indirectly. Personal emotions, both positive and negative, have a significant effect on consumer interaction.

Abstract

Perfume is a secondary need that is in great demand and is used by various groups, from children, teenagers, to adults. Indonesia has various local and foreign perfume brands. The large number of perfume brands makes perfume business people use online platforms to sell and market products so that they can be known to many people and sell well in the market. This makes perfume business players compete fiercely to attract customers' buying interest, because customers make blind purchases. This research aims to determine the influence of social media marketing, perceived quality, and online customer reviews on interest in buying local brand HMNS perfume among Instagram and Twitter users. This type of research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative. The population in this research is HMNS Instagram and Twitter followers. The sample in this study consisted of 100 respondents with the criteria of being at least 15 years old, active social media users who follow HMNS Instagram and Twitter accounts, and have purchased HMNS perfume at least once. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis processed with SPSS 26 software. The research results show that social media marketing, perceived quality, and online customer reviews simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on buying interest. Partially, social media marketing, perceived quality, and online customer reviews have a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest. The variable that has the greatest influence on purchasing interest in the local HMNS perfume brand is perceived quality, which has the highest significance value in the partial test.

Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of omnichannel strategy on repurchase interest through consumer satisfaction with Somethinc products at Sun Plaza Medan. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study were 154 consumers who had purchased Somethingnc products. The sample size was drawn using non-probability sampling using the purposive sampling method. The data used are primary data and secondary data obtained through a list of statements and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses structural equation modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS 3.3 analysis tool. The research results directly show that omnichannel strategy has a positive and significant effect on repurchase interest, omnichannel strategy has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, customer experience has a positive and significant effect on repurchase interest. Consumer satisfaction has a positive effect on repurchase interest. Then the results of tests carried out indirectly show that tourist satisfaction is not able to mediate the relationship between omnichannel strategy and repurchase interest, but consumer satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between customer experience and repurchase interest.
