Abstract

Abstract: This research is a descriptive-quantitative research design which is aimed at investigating the vocabulary size of International Relations students of Social and Political Science Faculty at University of Riau. The subjects of this study were the sixth-semester students majoring in International Relations of Social and Political Science Faculty at University of Riau. 96 students employed in this study were given the Vocabulary Size Test created by Nation I. S. P. and Beglar D. in 2007. The findings of this study revealed that the student knew about 7,400 word families. This result showed that the participants had good vocabulary mastery. Based on Nation (2006) the mean score of students of International Relations of Social and Political Science Faculty at University of Riau in sixth semester were able to read authentic materials which contains many vocabularies.Key Words: Vocabulary, Vocabulary Size Test, International Relations

Abstract

Introduction: Stroke ranks as the first cause of disabilities and the third cause of death in the world. Many factors associated with stroke. Objective: this study aimed at evaluating the factors associated with stroke. Study Design: This study was an analytical observational study using cross sectional design. Samples were obtained from medical records of 263 patients who were admitted in neurology’s ward of Sultan agung Islamic hospital during 1 January 2012-31 August 2013. Samples categorized in 2 groups: 97 hemorrhagic’s stroke patients and 166 non hemorrhagic’s stroke patients with simple random sampling technique. This study were conducted by analyzing 5 variables such as gender, age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and total cholesterol levels. Results: Logistic regression test using SPSS showed that hypertension was the most dominant factor associated with stroke (p=0.001; PR=1.707; CI=1.249–2.433). Conclusion: Hypertension was the most dominant risk factor for stroke.

Abstract

Inter-professional learning is becoming a very hot issue in medical education field in Indonesia nowadays. Many medical faculties carried out discussions about this topic to consider the possibility to apply the method of learning in their own faculties. This writing is a critical review of an article concerning multiprofessional learning in medical field and an analysis of its possible implications to improve the quality f medical education in Indonesia (Sains Medika, 3(1):89-101).

Abstract

Sago is a source of carbohydrates that has the potential to be used as a raw material for processed foods such as crackers. Crackers are a food that people like because they crunchy and can be used as a snack or complementary to the main daily menu. Improving the quality of sago crackers can be done by subtituting tapioca and seaweed pulp, which will provide more swelling power and higher protein levels. This research aims to determine the effect of subtituting tapioca and seaweed slurry on the physicochemical and organoleptic characteristics of sago crackers and determine the formulation that produces the best sago crackers. The design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with one factor (p) ,consisting of 6 treatment levels and four replications. The results showed that subtituting tapioca and seaweed porridge affected the swelling power, water content, ash content, and protein content of sago crackers but did not affect the fat and carbohydrate content. The subtitution of tapioca and seaweed slurry produced the best physicochemical and organoleptic properties in the formulation of sago starch: tapioca: seaweed slurry (70:5:25) with swelling power of 76.78%, water content of 7.06%, ash content of 2.86%, fat content 12.88%, protein content 0.56%, carbohydrate content 77.72%, color 3.47 (like-very like), aroma 2.97 (dislike-like), taste 3.57 (like -like very much), crispness 3.73 (like-very like) and overall likeability 3.67 (like-very like).

Abstract

Setiap lembaga PAUD tidak terlepas dari adanya Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE). Lembaga PAUD pada umumnya menggunakan APE yang sudah jadi atau membeli. Disisi lain banyak bahan-bahan alam yang ada di sekitar bisa dimanfaatkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru PAUD gugus Kharisma Ponorogo dalam membuat APE dengan memanfaatkan bahan-bahan alam yang ada di sekitar. Fokus pembuatan APE adalah bahan-bahan alam yaitu batang rumput, daun ketela, tusuk sate, pelepah pisang, kulit jeruk bali, tempurung kelapa, benang, dan lem. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi: (1) Perencanaan awal, (2) Pelatihan pembuatan APE, (3) Pendampingan pembuatan APE, dan (4) Evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini merupakan implementasi kurikulum merdeka yakni mandiri berubah, mandiri belajar dan mandiri berbagi. Mitra dapat memanfaatkan APE dari bahan-bahan alam dalam pembelajaran untuk mengenalkan lingkungan sekitar yang kaya akan bahan-bahan alam sehingga pelayanan serta model APE di PAUD mengalami peningkatan. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan pada pelatihan ini adalah produk APE dari bahan alam.

Abstract

In the case of taking legal action to transfer a right to land or building, it can usually be done by way of buying and selling, grants, exchange, separation and division of inheritance and so on. The transfer of land rights by buying and selling that do not have rights (not yet certified) is carried out by relinquishing land rights with compensation made before a notary so that the strength of proof is perfect.This type of research uses empirical legal research using an empirical juridical research approach and a sociological approach, the data used in this study are primary data as the main data obtained directly from interviews and secondary data as supporting materials obtained from legal materials. Based on the results of the research, the researchers concluded that the role of the notary in the transfer of land rights that have not been certified in Medan City, especially in Deli Serdang Regency, Patumbak District, which is located in Hamlet VI (six) Patumbak Kampung Village, is to make an authentic deed of relinquishment of land rights that has been determined by law, guaranteeing the certainty of the date of the making of the deed, providing grosse, and besides that the notary also plays an important role in providing legal advice, explanations and instructions to the parties facing the things that can be done or prohibited related to applicable laws and regulations. As well as correcting typographical errors or typos contained in the signed minutes of deed.

Abstract

Personal data protection is an effort to protect individual privacy rights, which includes the need to protect a person's privacy as well as the protection of their personal data. The type of research in this study is normative juridical, which focuses on the review of positive legal norms.To find out about the protection of personal data regulated in Indonesian Legislation and to find out the obstacles to personal data protection in law and their solutions. In Indonesia, Personal Data Protection has been regulated in Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, and the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2016 concerning Protection of Personal Data on Electronic Systems, and has obstacles in the application of this Law such as the overlap of the old law with the new one, and preventing a legal expert from adopting which Law.In the current technological era, the significance of addressing security factors in the processing of personal data using various technologies has become increasingly critical. While electronic systems have enhanced data security, it is undeniable that the risk of data theft by irresponsible parties still exists. Therefore, regulations or laws are necessary to provide protection for personal data.

Abstract

Maritime is a dynamic, ever-evolving world that demands innovative technology to improve shipping safety. The maritime world is facing significant changes rapidly, especially in the development and implementation of navigation technology. ECDIS or “Electronic Chart Display and Information System” is a tool whose function and system can provide information about navigation. The type of research carried out is descriptive qualitative research. This method is used to find knowledge about the research object. The type of research used is field research (field research), that is, researchers go directly into the field to search for and collect data. research location in KL. Sultan Hasanuddin. Determining the subjects of this research was purposive, and the data source chosen was the crew of the Kl ship. Sultan Hasanuddin PIP Makassar. The research results significantly increase shipping safety because digital maps have been prepared and reduced the workload of ship crews in making shipping routes. It is recommended that ships routinely update software and digital maps to ensure system accuracy and function, as well as provide training to ship crews every time there is a feature update on ECDIS

Abstract

Sosialisasi penggunaan aplikasi e-skripsi pada Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar merupakan perwujudan dari implementasi teknologi dalam pelayanan di perguruan tinggi, Sosialisasi ini memperkenalkan dan mensimulasikan cara penggunaan aplikasi e-skripsi sebagai platform yang dapat digunakan oleh Taruna Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar dalam pengajuan judul skripsi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi presentasi, demonstrasi, diskusi serta latihan praktis. Hasil dari sosialisasi berdasarkan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada peserta sosialisasi menunjukan hasil yang rata-rata jawaban sangat puas pada setiap item pertanyaan serta aplikasi e-skripsi juga sangat mudah digunakan oleh taruna dalam proses simulasi pengajuan judul skripsi, hal ini berdasarkan ulasan-ulasan yang diberikan oleh peserta sosialisasi pada laman saran kuesioner.

Abstract

Anak usia dini berkembang dengan baik jika diberikan stimulasi yang tepat. Salah satu kemampuan AUD yang perlu dipenuhi adalah kemampuan intelektual. Kemampuan intelektual ini dapat distimulasi melalui pembelajaran berbasis alam sebagai implementasi kurikulum Merdeka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi kurikulum Merdeka melalui pembelajaran berbasis alam sebagai stimulasi perkembangan intelektual AUD. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelompok A TK Ekasari Ds Krandegan kec kebonsari Kab Madiun. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis alam dapat menstimulasi perkembangan intelektual anak usia dini sebagai implementasi kurikulum Merdeka.
