Abstract

Game online merupakan salah satu produk perkembangan teknologi yang keberadaannya sering menimbulkan kecanduan pada penggunanya. Bagi remaja yang merasakan kesepian, bermain game online dapat membantu mengurangi perasaan kesepian yang dialami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesepian dengan kecanduan game online pada remaja usia 18-25 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan melibatkan subjek sebanyak 428 remaja yang merupakan mahasiswa S1 Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis korelasional menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman dengan bantuan SPSS 20 for Windows. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut didapatkan nilai koefisiensi korelasi (r) sebesar 0,563 dan nilai signifikansi (p) 0,00. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif signifikan berkekuatan sedang antara kesepian dengan kecanduan game online pada remaja usia 18-25 tahun.

Abstract

Speaking is the main capital that must be owned so that a child’s communication process runs normally and effectively. This ability requires great stimulation from both parents and teachers at school. This study aims to describe and explain the process of improving speaking abilty on early childhood through the media picture story book of group B (1) Siti Khodijah Ngrupit Jenangan Ponorogo Islamic Kindergarten for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Picture story book media is chosen because it is easy to see and captured by the child’s senses which is useful for training children’s speaking ability. This research was classroom action research conducted using the Kurt Lewin model. The number of objects in this study were 12 students. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation and interviews. This study used completeness analysis as a data analysis technique obtained during the study through the determination of averages, assessment of learning completeness and performance indicators. The action taken was successful if the percentage and average value of the children’s speaking ability was at 75% or more. The results of this study shown that picture story book can improve children’s speaking ability in Group B (1) Siti Khodijah Ngrupit Jenangan Ponorogo Islamic Kindergarten. The results of pre-cycle stage, students had an average of 7.33. In cycle 1, the average value increased with a value of 9.75. The result of cycle 2 was better because the average value obtained 13 with a completeness percentage of 81.25%. This proved that this classroom action research was successful because instead of an increase, the average percentage of completeness achieved had exceeded the predetermined success indicator, which was 75%.

Abstract

Parents are the main actors in the success of children’s education. Especially in the digital era, parents have to be one step ahead of their children. The aim of this research is to examine the role of parents in producing superior early childhood children in the digital era. The method in this research is qualitative with a library research design. Data are collected by reviewing literature and references and then connected to research goals. Research results regarding the importance of synergy between educators and parents to produce excellent children in the digital era are urgently needed. The steps that teachers and parents need to take in producing a excellent generation in the digital era are by providing a sense of security, self-confidence, encouragement and praise, respecting the process and not demanding only the results, not forcing children to do activities beyond their abilities, respecting achievements, don’t emphasize children’s mistakes, giving children the opportunity to solve their own problems, and the importance of training children’s independence.

Abstract

The physical motor development aspect is a developmental phase in the elements of maturity in body movement that is closely related to the development of the motor center in the brain. With a gradual increase in age, movement increases from undeveloped and unskilled to very well developed. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the application of the traditional egrang batok game as a medium for stimulating the physical motor development of group B children at the Pembina Ponorogo State Kindergarten. This research design uses descriptive research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and official documentation. The data analysis technique uses analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman, with stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research show that the application of the traditional game of egrang batok as a medium for stimulating the physical motor development of group B children at the Pembina Ponorogo State Kindergarten has developed as expected. When the traditional game of stilt batok is played regularly, it is proven to really help children’s physical motor development and helps stimulate aspects of concentration, eye, hand to foot coordination, as well as agility, speed and accuracy in playing. Suggestions for readers who will carry out qualitative field research on aspects of children’s physical motor development: do it carefully and focus so that the research results are more valid.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how caregivers’ social control prevents bullying behavior at Al-Fattah Al-Quran Education Center (TPA), Singgahan Village, Kebonsari, Madiun. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with a case study research model. This research involved 35 students, aged 6-14 years and 4 caregivers as the research subjects. Data were obtained from interviews and observations of learning and caring process at the Al-Fattah Al-Quran Education Center (TPA), regarding the social control of caregivers in preventing bullying in children. The results of the research show that the Al Fattah Al-Qur’an Education Center (TPA) caregivers carry out social control to prevent bullying by; (1) prioritizing educational patterns, (2) implementing inviting patterns, and (3) implementing coercive strategies. If this can be done at the Al-Fattah Al Quran Education Center (TPA) effectively, bullying behavior will be minimized and prevented.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of gadgets as a medium for preserving local language for early childhood. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. In the data collection process, researcher also reviewed relevant literature and references. This study was conducted in Balerejo Village, Kebonsari District, Madiun Regency, with 25 students as subjects. Based on the results of the study, there are three things that greatly influence the success of preserving regional languages using gadgets, namely; (1) parental culture to maintain traditional concepts in educating children; (2) the socio-economic status of parents from the lower middle class who tend to be stricter in raising children; and (3) parental education.

Abstract

Personal data protection is an effort to protect individual privacy rights, which includes the need to protect a person's privacy as well as the protection of their personal data. The type of research in this study is normative juridical, which focuses on the review of positive legal norms.To find out about the protection of personal data regulated in Indonesian Legislation and to find out the obstacles to personal data protection in law and their solutions. In Indonesia, Personal Data Protection has been regulated in Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, and the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2016 concerning Protection of Personal Data on Electronic Systems, and has obstacles in the application of this Law such as the overlap of the old law with the new one, and preventing a legal expert from adopting which Law.In the current technological era, the significance of addressing security factors in the processing of personal data using various technologies has become increasingly critical. While electronic systems have enhanced data security, it is undeniable that the risk of data theft by irresponsible parties still exists. Therefore, regulations or laws are necessary to provide protection for personal data.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) telah membawa inovasi signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, terutama dalam mendukung model pembelajaran hybrid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi VR sebagai suplemen pembelajaran di SMK 9 Makassar, khususnya pada siswa jurusan Nautika Kapal Penangkap Ikan. Melalui penggunaan VR siswa dapat mengalami simulasi interaktif yang realistis, seperti praktik keselamatan pelayaran dan simulasi kapal yang sulit dilakukan di dunia nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan VR meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi praktik yang kompleks, memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran, dan menawarkan fleksibilitas dalam pengulangan simulasi tanpa keterbatasan waktu dan alat. Meskipun demikian, tantangan dalam hal infrastruktur dan pelatihan guru masih menjadi hambatan dalam optimalisasi penggunaan VR. Dengan investasi yang lebih lanjut dalam pengadaan perangkat dan pelatihan guru, implementasi VR berpotensi besar dalam memperkaya model pembelajaran hybrid dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMK 9 Makassar

Abstract

Penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB) baik tingkat SD, SMP, dan SMA dilaksanakan dengan sistem zonasi sejak tahun 2018. Sistem zonasi merupakan sistem penerimaan peserta didik baru yang dilaksanakan dengan menentukan radius zona oleh masing-masing pemerintah daerah dan sekolah. wajib menerima calon siswa yang berdomisili dalam radius zona terdekat dengan persentase tertentu dari jumlah siswa yang akan diterima di satuan sekolah. Permasalahan sistem zonasi terletak pada adanya kartu yang tahun terbitnya kurang dari 1 (satu) tahun pada saat pendaftaran peserta didik baru. Kartu keluarga menjadi salah satu syarat utama dalam sistem zonasi. Domisili calon mahasiswa berdasarkan alamat pada kartu keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan dan faktor penghambat/hambatan dalam penerapan sistem donasi pada PPDB di SMP 46 Palembang dan metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data seperti: wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Implementasi Peraturan Walikota Nomor 26 Tahun 2021 tentang Kebijakan Sistem Zonasi Seleksi Penerimaan Siswa SMP Baru Pada Dinas Pendidikan Kota Palembang (Studi Kasus Pasal 29 Ayat 1 di SMP Negeri 46) sudah baik, karena dilihat dari komunikasinya sudah jelas, sumber dayanya bagus, dari SDM, dana dan fasilitas memadai. Kemudian, dari disposisi seluruh pihak yang terlihat di PPDB, menerima baik Peraturan Wali Kota tersebut. Kendala dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pendaftaran Sistem Zonasi adalah apabila mahasiswa tidak dapat melampirkan fotokopi Kartu Keluarga yang lama maka Kartu Keluarga yang tahun terbitnya kurang dari satu tahun tidak dapat ikut serta dalam pendaftaran peserta didik baru pada sistem zonasi atau jalur.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning method combined with Role Play strategy in improving the English reading skills of 8th-grade students at Muhammadiyah 2 Boarding School. The research addresses the challenges students face in reading comprehension, which is crucial for their academic success. The study employs a classroom action research. There are 22 students as the sampling. Data was collected through two cycles namely cycle I and cycle II, along with descriptive quantitative and student feedback. Result indicates a significant improvement in reading skills among students. In pre-cycle the students average score was about 70,54(55%). It is indicated that they don’t pass the passing grade. Through cycle I, the score was increased to 75,55 or there were 8 (36%) students who didn’t pass the passing grade. Moreover in cycle II, the student average score was increase to 8,04 point (83,59). There were 2 students (9%) who didn’t pass the passing grade. The Discovery Learning method, which encourages students to explore, inquire, and engage actively with the material, fosters deeper understanding and retention. The Role Play strategy enhances this by allowing students to immerse themselves in various contexts, making the reading experience more relatable and enjoyable. This approach not only improves reading comprehension but also boosts students’ motivation and engagement in learning. The findings suggest that incorporating interactive and student-centered methods, such as Discovery Learning and Role Play, can lead to enhanced language skills and better educational outcomes and underscores the importance of innovative teaching strategies in fostering effective learning in English class.
