Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan bagaimana cara membuat modul ajar dan bagaimana pengurusan HKI terhadap produk yang dimiliki kepada guru-guru SMP N 37 Pekanbaru. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan guru-guru mampu membuat modul ajar sendiri selanjutnya melakukan pengurusan HKI terhadap modul yang telah dibuat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 37 Kota Pekanbaru, dengan pesertanya adalah seluruh guru yang mengajar di lingkunagn SMP Negeri 37 kota Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 38 orang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 27 juli 2022 – 09 agustus 2022 secara Hybrid (Daring dan Luring). Materi dalam kegiatan ini tentang cakupan bagaimana cara membuat modul ajar yang baik dan bagaimana proses dalam pengurusan HKI. Kegiatan ini sangat memiliki banyak manfaat kepada guru-guru di SMP Negeri 37, yaitu salah satunya adalah guru-guru mampu mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam membuat modul ajar sendiri tanpa menggunakan modul ajar milik orang lain. Setelah menyelesaikan modul ajar tersebut, guru-guru melakukan pengurusan HKI terhadap modul ajarnya.

Abstract

Robot edukasi merupakan suatu penemuan media pembelajaran yang terbarukan. Media pembelajaran perlu dikembangkan beragam variasi dengan tujuan menciptakan keragaman media yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran khususnya pengenalan bahasa asing. Namun ada permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh young learners, pertama yang menjadi perhatian tim pelaksana yaitu sulitnya anak untuk diajak konsentrasi saat belajar yaitu kesulitan dalam proses membaca khususnya bahasa asing yang tentunya akan berdampak pada terlambatnya anak dalam pemahaman materi pembelajaran bahasa asing. Permasalahan kedua, proses belajar sebelumnya kurang efektif karena anak sulit untuk diajak fokus pada pembelajaran yang diberikan. Permasalahan ketiga, anak sering fokus pada handphone memberikan dampak negatif terhadap perkembangan motorik kasar dan halusnya. Permasalahan keempat adalah media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan minat belajar anak. Dari permasalahn tersebut diatas, maka dirasa perlu dikenalkan robot edukasi berupa Robot Evoce dengan tujuan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran pada anak dengan mengajak anak berkolaborasi dan menyusun sederetan instruksi pada robot untuk melakukan suatu aktivitas pembelajaran yang mengarah kepada mengasah logika berfikir anak dan menarik minat anak untuk belajar bahasa asing. Target luaran untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada akan diciptakan media pembelajaran interaktif berupa Robot yang diberi nama Robot Evoce (English Vocabulary for Children).

Abstract

SMPN 37 Pekanbaru has implemented the Merdeka curriculum but has not been implemented optimally. SMPN 37 Pekanbaru also has driving teachers who can support the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in schools. However, there are still several things related to the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum that need intensive assistance. This community service activity aims to provide assistance in the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum for teachers at SMP Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. Through assistance in the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum, it is hoped that teachers at SMP Negeri 37 Pekanbaru will have a deeper understanding of the Merdeka curriculum and be ready to implement the Merdeka curriculum properly in the 2023/2024 academic year. This community service activity was carried out at SMPN 37 Pekanbaru with participants, namely 30 teachers of SMPN 37 Pekanbaru. The material in this activity is about aspects of the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum which include KOSP planning, ATP design, learning and assessment planning, use and development of teaching materials. This activity has many benefits for teachers, namely teachers are better prepared to implement the Merdeka curriculum and have the correct understanding and information about the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to encourage teachers to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) to improve the use of learning methods, so that the learning process becomes more interactive and interesting through the development of ICT-assisted teaching materials at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. This workshop involved 33 teachers and was held on November 30, 2024. The stages of the activity include preparation, implementation, discussion, and Q&A. This PkM activity succeeded in achieving its goal of motivating teachers to maximize the use of technology in learning through the development of teaching materials, even though there were challenges that had to be faced. The evaluation results showed a positive response from teachers.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva kepada guru-guru MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. Melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan tambahan pengetahuan kepada guru-guru tentang aplikasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru dengan peserta adalah guru-guru di MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 24 orang. Materi yang disampaikan dalam kegiatan ini tentang penggunaan aplikasi Canva dalam merancang media pembelajaran digital. Guru diberikan pengenalan tentang aplikasi Canva, tutorial menggunakan Canva, bagaimana menggunakan desain yang sudah ada, bagaimana merancang desain, bagaimana menentukan kata kunci, bagaimana memilih template dan bagaimana menggunakannya untuk membuat media pembelajaran digital misalnya membuat modul ajar sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu oleh masing-masing guru.

Abstract

Powtoon is a technology and information (IT)-based learning media, making it easier for students to accept material because of the various animation features and transition effects that make the material easier to understand. This study aims to produce learning media and determine the validity of the Powtoon learning media on the Pythagorean theorem material in class VIII SMP. This type of research is development research. This research goes through potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, product improvement. The instruments used in this study were material expert assessment sheets and powtoon media. After the powtoon media is created, the powtoon is validated by experts. Validation was carried out by the validator with good scores. The data analysis technique used was validation analysis. From the results of the analysis that had been carried out on the material and media validation sheets, 79% were obtained, which were included in the valid category, namely good. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika siswa serta menganalisis karakteristik jawaban siswa pada materi statistika setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media Wordwall. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa kelas X Agrihan 1 SMK Negeri Pertanian Terpadu Kota Pekanbaru. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis berupa empat soal uraian yang mencakup materi penyajian data berkelompok, diagram titik, histogram, serta ukuran pemusatan data. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 7 siswa (25,93%) berada pada kategori tinggi, 15 siswa (55,56%) berada pada kategori sedang, dan 5 siswa (18,52%) berada pada kategori rendah. Analisis jawaban siswa menunjukkan bahwa siswa pada kategori tinggi mampu menyelesaikan soal secara sistematis, menerapkan konsep statistika dengan tepat, serta menginterpretasikan data secara benar. Siswa pada kategori sedang telah menguasai prosedur penyelesaian, namun masih melakukan beberapa kesalahan pada aspek ketelitian dan interpretasi data. Sementara itu, siswa pada kategori rendah masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dasar statistika, memilih prosedur penyelesaian, dan menerapkan rumus yang sesuai. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran mengenai karakteristik kemampuan siswa pada materi statistika sehingga dapat menjadi dasar bagi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran dan tindak lanjut yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. This study aimed to describe students' mathematics learning outcomes and analyze the characteristics of students' responses in statistics after participating in learning through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by Wordwall. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The participants were 27 students of Class X Agrihan 1 at SMK Negeri Pertanian Terpadu Pekanbaru. Data were collected through a written test consisting of four essay questions covering grouped data presentation, dot plots, histograms, and measures of central tendency. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that 7 students (25.93%) were categorized as having high learning outcomes, 15 students (55.56%) were in the moderate category, and 5 students (18.52%) were in the low category. Students in the high category demonstrated systematic problem-solving skills, accurate application of statistical concepts, and appropriate data interpretation. Students in the moderate category generally understood the solution procedures but still made errors related to accuracy and data interpretation. Meanwhile, students in the low category experienced difficulties in understanding fundamental statistical concepts, selecting appropriate procedures, and applying statistical formulas correctly. These findings provide a comprehensive description of students' characteristics in solving statistical problems and may serve as a reference for teachers in designing more appropriate instructional and follow-up strategies.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technology has transformed students’ learning experiences, yet its influence on mathematics learning interest remains inconclusive because social media and smartphone use have often been examined separately. This study investigated the individual and simultaneous relationships between social media use, smartphone use, and mathematics learning interest among junior high school students. A quantitative ex post facto cross-sectional design was employed involving all 76 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Singingi, Indonesia, using saturated sampling, while data were collected through three validated Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression after the required statistical assumptions were satisfied. The findings revealed that both social media use and smartphone use were significant positive predictors of mathematics learning interest, and the regression model demonstrated a statistically significant overall fit. The results suggest that digital technology contributes positively to students’ affective engagement with mathematics when it is used purposefully to access educational content, facilitate learning interaction, and support independent study rather than merely for recreational activities. Unlike previous studies that predominantly investigated digital platforms or mobile devices separately or focused primarily on academic achievement, this study integrates both dimensions of students’ digital learning behaviour within a single analytical framework while positioning mathematics learning interest as the primary educational outcome. The findings contribute to the literature on digital mathematics education by providing empirical evidence from an Indonesian junior high school context and highlighting the importance of digital literacy, self-regulation, and pedagogically guided technology integration in promoting meaningful and sustainable mathematics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of Gemini AI utilization training for English language learning was to give a service in socialization in Pondok Pesantren MoU and UIR. The goal of in this socialization was to deliver process of socialization, namely socializing values, knowledge, and skills in life. Mufida (2018) said that learning is a real situation for the citizens’ improvement in iman and takwa so they can live without changing address future threats and challenges. Questionnaire was used to measure the satisfactory activity during PkM and 27 female students involved during one day training program. As for SMA IT Iman Syafi’I Cendikia itself, they have future wish that the progress of young generation for having the paradigm that the success of a student is influenced by educators who teach in schools, especially in using modern technology. Gemini AI became one of AI tools of the program was delivered during the activities of PkM. The result of this PkM activity was motivating the students as the data result from questionnaire that the average satisfaction was high as amount 92,67%, so as summary that the implementation of PkM was successful in SMA IT Iman Syafi’I Cendikia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dari pengembangan modul ajar matematika dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berorientasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis pada materi pokok integral kelas XI SMA. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang dimodifikasi karena penelitian dilakukan pada masa Covid-19 yang terdiri dari tahap (Analysis, Design, dan Development). Objek penelitian ini adalah modul ajar matematika dengan model Problem Based Learning berorientasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis pada materi pokok integal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik nontes dengan meminta validasi dari 2 dosen Pendidikan MatematikaFKIP UIR dan 1 guru Matematika SMA N 14 Pekanbaru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan uji validitas, modul ajar matematika dengan model Problem Based Learning berorientasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah dinyatakan valid dengan validitas indeks Aiken sebesar 0,68 (validitas sedang). Dari hasil tersebut, mengidentifikasikan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan valid. Kata kunci: Modul, Model Problem Based Learning, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah
