Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate because of its geographical location on the equator. This causes Indonesia to be affected by 2 seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season. This situation influences the building design process so that appropriate efforts are needed to overcome the problems encountered in buildings in the tropics. Tropical architecture is an architectural work specifically designed to overcome problems that exist in the tropics. In tropical architecture there are several principles that influence the design of buildings. This principle consists of thermal comfort, air flow through the building, heat radiation, and natural lighting during the day. The Yoga Retreat Center in Ubud is a yoga tourism facility that focuses on accommodating all yoga retreat activities. The location of the site is in the tropics, so it is important to apply tropical architectural principles to the building to create comfort for building users.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the main plantation commodities in Indonesia which is one of the plantations that boosts the country's economy. Bali is one of the provinces that has quite extensive coffee plantations with an annual income of up to 15.5 thousand tons. Coffee Agrotourism is an educational tourism activity that utilizes coffee plantations as a tourist attraction. The utilization of this business in the plantation sector includes processing coffee from the plantations of local residents so that it becomes a product with national and even international selling value, in other words the products produced can not only be enjoyed by the domestic community, but also can be enjoyed by the outside community. Not only processed products are presented, but also experience, understanding, and knowledge about coffee or coffee plantations is also presented as a means of education. Coffee agrotourism is developed by utilizing the potential of both natural resources and human resources. Keywords: Coffee, Plantation, Education, Recreation, Agrotourism

Abstract

Kreneng Market has been established since 1979. Based on observations, the current condition of Kreneng Market is not as good as previous conditions. There are several facilities that are poorly maintained and therefore look rundown and dirty, starting with several stalls with holes in the ceiling, poor lighting systems, poorly organized circulation patterns, and disorganized distribution and grouping between types of goods. Apart from that, there is also a lack of parking space; many public transport and cars carrying merchandise park their vehicles on the side of the road, which causes traffic jams. With this redesign, it is hoped that it will be able to provide and fulfill appropriate facilities for traders and visitors, such as loading and unloading areas, adequate parking facilities, health facilities, as well as grouping stalls or stalls of traders based on their trade. This research is qualitative descriptive research with data collection methods in the form of observation and literature study. The healthy market approach that will be planned will emphasize circulation aspects, interior layout arrangements, interior materials, and the use of furniture.

Abstract

Pantai Gamat berada di bagian utara Pulau Nusa Penida yang berbentuk teluk, berpasir putih, dengan biota laut yang masih alami, diapit oleh bukit membentuk lembah, serta memiliki view ke arah gugusan pulau kecil (Pulau Ceningan dan Pulau Lembongan). Potensi alam di Pantai Gamat masih belum memiliki fasilitas penunjang wisata sedangkan objek wisata Pantai Gamat diminati oleh wisatawan, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan kawasan melalui rancangan fasilitas wisata alam di Pantai Gamat. Namun pemecahan masalah tersebut jangan sampai membawa masalah baru, karena kawasan Pantai Gamat merupakan hutan desa sebagai penyangga alam di kawasan tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah pengembangan wisata alam di Pantai Gamat dalam bentuk desain fasilitas wisata. Dalam pengembangan ini terdapat dua hal yang diperhatikan adalah (1) mengembangkan objek wisata di Kawasan Pantai Gamat, dan (2) mempertahankan kebaradaan keberlanjutan potensi alam yang terdapat di Pantai Gamat dan hutan desa. Oleh karena itu diperlukan solusi yang bijak dalam pengembangan ini yaitu (1) merencanakan fasilitas wisata di Pantai Gamat yang mempertimbangkan ekosistem pantai dan laut bebes dari ekploitasi yang besar dan polusi, dan (2) merencakan fasilitas glamping berkonsep ramah terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

Nusa Penida Island tourist attractions have exotic natural characteristics of beaches and hills. This potential is evenly distributed in the northern part of the coast and the southern part of Nusa Penida. The unavailability of tourist support facilities has an impact on the comfort and accessibility that is not optimal towards these tourist attractions. The picture can be seen on the Gamat Beach tourist attraction which is located in the western part of the coast of Nusa Penida. Gamat Beach is one of the diving spots in Nusa Penida which has the potential for the beauty of coral reefs and fish as a tourist attraction on the beach. Currently, tourists have access to Gamat Beach by sea and to access the beach, there are no supporting facilities or infrastructure. Therefore, it is very difficult for tourists to enjoy the beauty of Gamat Beach optimally. In addition, Gamat Beach began to be eroded by coastal waves and it was feared that the coastline with beach sand would be eliminated. The purpose of this activity is to produce a master plan for the arrangement of facilities at Gamat Beach tourist attraction in an effort to support tourist activities at the tourist attraction. The methods used in this service activity are mapping, conceptual, induction (design), and focus group discussion. The results of this service activity are in the form of a design of a master plan for the arrangement of Gamat Beach tourist objects.
