Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the influence and the relationship among teachers’ professional competence to students learning activity, the ease of understanding learning material and students learning outcomes on IPA subject at SMP Rayon II Sigi Regency. This research was a formal research which found out the relationship among the influence of students learning activities Y1, the ease of understanding learning materials Y2 and student learning outcomes Y3 in IPA subject. To measure the teachers professional competence (X) is obtained by using the observation sheet that contained the teachers assessment activities, variable Y1 obtained by observations on the implementation process of learning in the classroom, variable Y2 about the ease of understanding the learning materials obtained by questionnaire and variable Y3 on student learning outcomes obtained of the results of tests conducted by each teacher that being a sample in this study. The results indicated that the teachers’ professional competence had very real influence on students' learning activities and ease of understanding learning material but not real on student learning outcomes. In conclusion, teachers’ professional competence is a matter that needs to be developed by teachers with special autonomy so that they had more professional responsibility. Achievement of the average value of the percentage of the activity of 27 teachers with students as much as in 1080 reached 76.85% or in the good criteria according to the size specified by Depdiknas (2004).

Abstract

This study aimed to improving activity and learning outcomes of students at fifth grade SD Inpres Baliase, Sigi County through implementing realistic learning approach. Data was collected by instrument of rubric of lesson plan, activity observation sheets of students and teacher, and formative test. The result of study showed that realistic learning approach could be improved students activities and learning outcomes. The student activities in first and second cycles have good categories. The learning by realistic approach could to be improving students learning outcomes. That was known by compare classical absorption between before and after action research. The learning outcome of first cycle has increased, although less that indicators. In the second cycle, it had significant and reach the classicai absorption as a school settled. Improve activity and learning outcomes was consequence of realistic learning approach that was first cycle in good categories and second cycle in very good.

Abstract

The aim of this reserach is to describe the increasing of the activities and the learning outcomes of student on IPA subject by using the scientific approach in class VA SD Inpres Kotapulu. The learning was focused on the weathering topic in the first cycle while in the second cycle was the identifying the types of soil topic. The method used in this study is a classroom action research (PTK). The instrument data collection used are the initial test sheets, the observation activity sheets for teacher and student, and the final test sheets. The results showed that there is an increasing in the activities of teacher and students also the learning outcomes of student from the first cycle until the second cycle. The increasing of the student’s learning outcomes is proved by the result the attainment of absorption average score and the percentage of classical completeness that increase from the pra-action, the first cycle and the second cycle respectively. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the learning of subject IPA by using the scientific approach can increase the activities and the student learning outcomes of student in class VA SD Inpres Kotapulu.

Abstract

School adiwiyata level independent is Schools that implement it behavior caring and cultured environment at school with 95% percentage , level participation participant educate in PBLHS movement already tall However based on studies introduction Still Lots students who haven't own knowledge environment and management good self .Study This aim For describe influence of the Adiwiyata program on personal skills, social skills, academic skills and vocational skills of Adiwiyata Elementary School students independent in Palu City. Study This is research descriptive with method study qualitative . Population in study This is all over Adiwiyata Elementary School students Palu City has a total of 693 students whereas amount samples in research This is 247 students . The instruments used _ is student life skills questionnaire consisting of of 32 statements . Results obtained is a student's personal skill are in the category good , students' social skills is in the very good category , student academic skills are in the category good and vocational skills of students is in the very good category .

Abstract

Penerapan sistem zonasi dalam Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) telah memicu perdebatan sengit di kalangan masyarakat. Kebijakan ini mengubah lanskap pemilihan sekolah, mendorong para siswa untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai pilihan pendidikan di lingkungan terdekat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan sistem zonasi PPDB terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan kinerja guru di sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasinoal. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebar kepada 169 kepala sekolah dan guru PNS di sekolah dasar negeri menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat korelasi dengan nilai (0.28>0.005) yang signifikan antara penerapan sistem zonasi PPDB dengan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa maupun kinerja guru di sekolah dasar negeri Kabupaten Parigi Moutong.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis palem (Arecaceae) yang ada di hutan Desa Tamarenja Kecamatan Sindue Tobata, Kabupaten Donggala dan pemanfaatan hasil inventarisasi jenis-jenis palem (Arecaceae) sebagai media pembelajaran biologi yang layak untuk digunakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode jalur dengan tehnik jelajah. Metode jalur paling sering digunakan dalam analisis vegetasi hutan dan paling efektif untuk mempelajari perubahan vegetasi menurut keadaan tanah, topografi, dan elevasi (gradasi lingkungan).Tehnik jelajah yaitu menelusuri seluruh area pengamatan, dimana sampel merupakan palem (Arecaceae) yang terdapat di area pengamatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan identifikasi didapatkan 7 jenis palem (Arecaceae) yang terdiri dari 4 sub-famili yaitu Arenga pinnata Merr. (Aren) dan Arenga undulatifolia Beec. (Galora) dari sub-famili Caryotoideae, Daemonorops sp. (Rotan), Calamus zollingeri Becc. (Rotan Batang), dan Salaca edulis Reinw. (Salak) dari sub-famili Lepidocaryoideae, Areca vestiaria Giseke. (Pinang Yaki/Harau) dari sub-famili Arecoideae, dan, Pigafetta filaris Giseke. (Wanga) dari sub-famili Calamoideae. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran berupa buku saku. Setelah melalui validasi maka dikategorikan layak untuk digunakan. Penilaian media pembelajaran oleh masing-masing dosen yang telah ditunjuk menjadi tim validator yaitu dengan persentase isi 82%, desain 80% dan media 71,42%. Penilaian dari mahasiswa kelompok kecil 86,2% dan mahasiswa kelompok besar 84,25%.

Abstract

Anggrek tanah merupakan salah satu golongan tumbuhan eksotik yang menyusun vegetasi pada ekosistem hutan. Kelimpahan individu tumbuhan anggrek di habitatnya merupakan indikator kestabilan populasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menginventarisasi jenis dan kelimpahan populasi tumbuhan anggrek tanah di Padang Padeha, serta pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode jalur “belt transect” . Analisis data kelimpahan sesuai formulasi dan skala kualitas lingkungan flora menurut Mueler – Dombois dan Ellenberg (1974). Analisis data kelayakan media pembelajaran sesuai formulasi dan kriteria menurut Arikunto (1996). Hasil penelitian didapat 3 Jenis angrek tanah yaitu Arudina bambusifoliaLindl, Spathoglotts plicata Blume dan Spathoglottis aurea Lindl dengan kelimpahan individu Arudina bambusifolia 562 /1 Ha, Spathoglotts plicata 497/1 Ha dan Spathoglottis aurea 487/1 Ha. Berdasarkan jumlah kelimpahan individu setiap populasi maka vegetesi anggrek tanah tergolong sangat baik, tetapi dari segi jumlah atau jenis yang di temukan vegetasi anggrek tanah tergolong sangat buruk. Hasil validasi media pembelajaran dalam bentuk poster yang dilakukan oleh ahli isi dengan persentase nilai rata-rata 70% kategori layak digunakan, ahli desain dengan persentase nilai rata-rata 86,67% kategori sangat layak digunakan dan ahli media dengan persentase nilai rata-rata 71% kategori layak digunakan. Hasil validasi media pembelajaran dalam bentuk poster yang dilakukan oleh 30 mahasiswa yang dibagi dalam 10 kelompok kecil dan 20 kelompok besar dengan persentase nilai rata-rata 87%/ kategori sagat layak digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis dan kerapatan populasi setiap jenis tumbuhan mangrove yang ada di Desa Tambarana dan pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik sampling menggunakan metode jalur (belt transect) yang ditempatkan secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lima jenismangrove yang didapatkan adalah Sonneratia alba J.E Smith, Rhizophora mucronata Lmk, Rhizophora apiculata Bl, Avicennia marina Forsk Vierh, dan Avicennia alba Bl. Kerapatan jenis tertinggi adalah Sonneratia alba J.E Smith (75 ind/ha) dan yang terendah adalah Rhizophora apiculata Bl (41 ind/ha). Sesuai hasil evaluasi maka kerapatan populasi tumbuhan mangrovediDesa Tambarana mengalami kerusakan karena nilai rentangan kerapatan <500 ind/ha dan jumlah jenis <10 menunjukkan bahwa populasi sangat jarang dan rusak. Buku saku mengenai jenis dan kerapatan populasi mangrove sesuai hasil validasi ahli dan uji coba kelompok mahasiswa (82%) dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran biologi.

Abstract

Tumbuhan paku adalah tumbuhan golongan herba yang menjadi bagian dari vegetasi penyusun vegetasi Daerah Aliran Sungai Poboya dalam kawasan TAHURA Kota Palu, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan paku dan kelayakannya sebagai media pembelajaran dalam bentuk poster. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode jalur dengan teknik pengambilan sampel melalui koleksi bebas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di Daerah Aliran Sungai Poboya diperoleh 15 jenis tumbuhan paku yang termasuk dalam 2 kelas, 3 Ordo, dan 8 Famili. Jenis paku terrestrial adalah Angiopteris angustifolia, Crypsinopsis platyphyllos, Diplazium esculentum, Drynaria sparsisora, Elaphoglossum callifolium, Nephrolepis biserrata, Nephrolepis falcata, Phymatosorus longissima, Pneumatopteris callosa, dan Selaginella plana. Jenis paku epifit adalah Adiantum cuneatum, Adiantum malesianum, Adiantum trapeziforme, Asplenium nidus, dan Blechnum vestitum. Poster mengenai jenis-jenis tumbuhan paku tergolong layak digunakan sebagai media dalam pembelajaran biologi.
