Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive digital media in increasing interest in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in secondary schools. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving 120 grade XI students from MAN 1 Gresik and MAN 2 Gresik, East Java. The sample was divided into an experimental group (60 students) who used interactive digital media and a control group (60 students) who used conventional methods. The research instrument was a learning interest questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity (r > 0.361) and reliability (α = 0.892). The results showed that there was a significant difference between students' learning interest in the experimental and control groups (t = 8.457; p < 0.001). The experimental group had an average learning interest score of 74.3 (very high category) compared to the control group of 58.2 (high category). The increase in learning interest in the experimental group reached 27.8% from pretest to posttest. Interactive digital media has been proven effective in increasing students' attention, interest, motivation, and active participation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of innovative and adaptive PAI learning models in the digital era.

Abstract

Principals must possess managerial competence to effectively manage education. The learning digitalization program provides tools and resources that enhance the learning experience, broaden access, and increase interactivity, contributing to learners' understanding and skill development. Both managerial competence and learning digitalization contribute to improved teacher performance, learning outcomes, and the overall quality of education, enabling students to achieve the established graduate competency standards. This study aims to: 1) analyze the effect of the principal's managerial competence on achieving graduate competency standards at SMA Negeri 05 Makassar; 2) analyze the impact of the learning digitalization program on the achievement of graduate competency standards at SMA Negeri 05 Makassar; and 3) examine the combined effect of the principal's managerial competence and the learning digitalization program on the achievement of graduate competency standards at SMA Negeri 05 Makassar. This quantitative ex post facto research uses a managerial approach. The sample size consisted of 306 respondents, selected through a stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics, employing simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that: 1) the principal's managerial competence influences the achievement of graduate competency standards by 29.3%; 2) the learning digitalization program affects the achievement of graduate competency standards by 15.8%; and 3) both the principal's managerial competence and the learning digitalization program together have a positive and significant impact on achieving graduate competency standards by 34.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and supervision of Human Resource Management (HRM) at SMAIT Al-Fityan School Gowa, Gowa Regency. A qualitative approach with phenomenological methods is used to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation from related parties. The results of the study show that MSDM planning involves several stages, such as recruitment through meetings, distribution of pamphlets, file collection, interviews, probationary periods, and announcements. The selection is carried out in two stages: administration and interview. Orientation lasts from a probationary period to basic and advanced training for six months. The placement of educators is adjusted to their expertise in teaching, communicating, mastering technology, and management. Training and development are divided into general and religious training. The implementation of MSDM in this school runs systematically and structured, especially in recruitment, selection, orientation, placement, as well as training and development of educators. Supervision is carried out by school principals, directors, education offices, and international supervisors (intertek). The implication of this study is the importance of more attention from the foundation, especially on continuous professional training and development, to improve competence and innovation in teaching methods. Thus, educators can increase competence, job satisfaction, and better career development opportunities

Abstract

Waste management remains a critical global challenge, with innovative solutions like waste banks gaining traction as participatory approaches to address environmental and economic concerns. However, conventional waste bank models often overlook the integration of spiritual and ethical values in their operations. This research aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic economic principles in waste-based savings management at IAI Miftahul Ulum Tanjungpinang Waste Bank and its role in customer empowerment. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects are Bank Sampah customers with 22 active customers depositing every 1 and 2 weeks. The informants in this research are the director and staff at IAI MU Tanjungpinang Waste Bank. Customer empowerment at IAI Miftahul Ulum Tanjungpinang Waste Bank is implemented through three main aspects: economic, social, and spiritual. These activities are supported by the existence of educational institutions, initial community awareness, strategic location, and potential religious values. However, the implementation of customer empowerment in these three aspects has not been optimaldue to limitations in operational time, unavailability of recycling programs, weak integration of spiritual values in activities, and minimal non-economic incentives. As a result, the impact of empowerment on improving welfare and customer awareness remains limited, requiring program strengthening and sustainable innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of facilities and infrastructure at MA Harun Al-Rasyid Bontonompo in increasing student interest, from a planning, implementation, and evaluation perspective. This study employed a qualitative phenomenological approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation from primary sources (the Principal, teachers, administrative staff, students) as well as secondary sources. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity maintained through triangulation. The results indicate that the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management has been structured and contributed significantly to increasing student interest. First, planning was carried out collaboratively based on student needs, despite ongoing budget constraints. Second, implementation proceeded optimally through teamwork in maintaining clean and tidy facilities, effectively promoting the school. Third, evaluations were conducted regularly through inventory and observation for continuous improvement. Overall, this planned and measurable management has successfully strengthened the image of the madrasah and created a comfortable learning environment for students.

Abstract

Keberlanjutan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan pilar fundamental bagi perekonomian lokal, namun seringkali terkendala oleh efektivitas program dukungan dan kapasitas internal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor kritis yang memengaruhi pengembangan UMKM di Desa Toapaya Selatan, Bintan, serta mengevaluasi peran strategis lembaga pemerintah dalam memitigasi tantangan yang ada. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 25 pelaku UMKM yang dipilih secara purposive  dan perwakilan Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM. Data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumentasi terkait. Analisis data dilakukan secara interpretatif menggunakan kerangka SWOT untuk memetakan dinamika internal dan eksternal, yang kemudian menjadi dasar perumusan rekomendasi kebijakan. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi adanya diskrepansi antara desain program pemerintah dengan realitas implementasi di lapangan, yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan sumber daya manusia (SDM) kelembagaan dan akurasi data yang rendah. Dari sisi pelaku usaha, tantangan utama meliputi akses permodalan, tekanan persaingan, dan orientasi kewirausahaan (entrepreneurial mindset) yang masih perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model pengembangan UMKM yang efektif memerlukan sinergi multi-pihak yang melampaui intervensi programatik, serta menekankan pentingnya penguatan kapasitas implementasi kelembagaan dan pemberdayaan internal pelaku usaha.
