Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh toksikan Pb pada struktur histopatologik lambung tikus putih jantan galur Wistar yang dipapar Pb per oral. Sampel yang digunakan 10 ekor tikus jantan, dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok I sebagai kontrol, kelompok II diberi perlakuan Pb asetat 175 mg/tikus selama 60 hari. Pada hari ke-61, tikus dikorbankan, organ lambung diambil untuk selanjutnya dibuat preparat histopatologik. Perubahan histopatologik yang diamati berupa adanya sel abnormal. Data sel abnormal selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan Paired Sample t-test. Analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample t-test diperoleh hasil nilai sig. 0,038.< 5%, hal ini membuktikan bahwa rata-rata skor sel abnormal kelompok kontrol berbeda signifikan dengan rata-rata skor sel abnormal kelompok Pb asetat. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa paparan kronik Pb per oral menyebabkan perubahan pada struktur histopatologik lambung tikus putih. Karena paparan kronik Pb per oral dapat menyebabkan perubahan pada struktur histopatologik lambung, diharapkan bisa menjadi peringatan dini tentang bahaya Pb pada organ pencernaan.This study aimed to analyze the effect of the Pb toxicant on gastric histopathological structure male albino rats Wistar strain were exposed of Pb per oral. The sample used 10 male rats were divided into two groups. First group as control, and second group was given treatment of Pb 175 mg/rat for 60 days. On 61th day, the rats were sacrificed, the gastric organs were taken for histopathologic preparations. The observed histopathological changes were of abnormal cells. The abnormal cells data were analyzed with Paired Sample t-test. The data were analyzed using Paired Sample t-test, obtained sig. value 0.038. <5%, it  proved that the average of abnormal cells score of the control group was differ from the average of the abnormal cells score of Pb acetate group. Based on this study, can be concluded that Pb chronic exposure per oral could caused changes on the gastric histopathologic structure of albino rats. Because Pb chronic exposure per oral could cause changes on the gastric histopathologic structure, is expected to be an early warning about the dangers of Pb in the digestive organs.

Abstract

Kayu manis (Cinnamomum burmanii) memiliki aktivitas sebagai antioksidan. Senyawa antioksidan dapat digunakan untuk menghambat atau memperlambat proses oksidasi. Proses oksidasi pada tubuh salah satunya karena sering mengkonsumsi obat-obatan misalnya parasetamol. Efek negatif dari overdosis parasetamol akan menyebabkan kerusakan hepar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak kayu manis terhadap gambaran histopatologi dan kadar SGOT- SGPT hepar tikus yang diinduksi parasetamol. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 20 ekor tikus putih jantan Wistar berumur 2-3 bulan dengan berat badan ± 200 gram. Sampel dibagi dalam empat kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan (P1, P2, P3). Masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari lima ekor tikus. Kelompok kontrol diberi pakan standar dan air minum, kelompok perlakuan diberi pakan standar, air minum, parasetamol, dan ekstrak kayu manis selama 21 hari. Pada hari ke-22, tikus dinekropsi, diambil darah dan organ heparnya untuk selanjutnya dibuat preparat histologi dan menghitung kadar SGOT-SGPT. Perubahan histopatologi yang diamati berupa degenerasi parenkimatosa, hidropik, dan nekrosis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji One Way Anova. Analisis data menggunakan One Way Anova diperoleh hasil nilai sig. 0,039< 0,05, hal ini membuktikan bahwa rata-rata skor sel hepar yang rusak antar kelompok perlakuan berbeda signifikan. Hasil uji LSD menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kerusakan hepar kelompok parasetamol berbeda dengan kelompok kontrol, P2, dan P3. Hasil nilai sig. 0,001< 0,05, untuk kadar SGOT-SGPT membuktikan bahwa kelompok parasetamol berbeda dengan kelompok kontrol, P2, dan P3. Hasil uji LSD kadar SGOT-SGPT menunjukkan bahwa kelompok P1 lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol, P2, dan P3. Hasil uji regresi linier, dosis ekstrak kayu manis 320 mg/KgBB adalah dosis yang paling efektif, sehingga dengan ekstrak kayu manis dapat memperbaiki dan menurunkan kadar SGOT-SGPT hepar tikus yang diinduksi parasetamol. Cinnamonhasantioxidant activity. This study used a sample of 20 male Wistar rats aged 2-3 months with body weight ± 200 grams. The samples were divided into four groups, namely the control and treatment groups (P1, P2, P3). Each group consists of five rats. The control group was given the standard feed and drinking water, the treatment groups were given the standard feed, drinking water, paracetamol and cinnamon extract for 21 days. On day 22nd, the mice were sacrificed, blood and hepar organs were taken then made preparations for histology and calculate SGOT-SGPT. Histopathological changes were observed as parenchimatose degeneration, hydropic and necrosis. Data were analyzed by using One Way Anova. Data analysis using One Way Anova results obtained sig. 0.039 <0.05, this proves that the average scores of damaged liver cells differ significantly between treatment groups. LSD results indicate that the average score og liver damage paracetamol group different from the control group, P2, and P3. Results sig. 0.001 <0.05, for SGOT-SGPT proved that paracetamol group different from the control group, P2, and P3. LSD test results showed that the levels of SGOT-SGPT group P1 is higher than the control group, P2, and P3. Regression analysis, a cinnamomum dose of 320 mg/KgBW is the most effective dose, so that the cinnamon extract can improve and reduce levels of SGOT-SGPT paracetamol-induced rat liver.

Abstract

Hiperkolesterolemi adalah keadaan kadar kolesterol tubuh yang melebihi batas normal. Keadaan ini dapat berdampak pada berbagai penyakit seperti aterosklerosis dan jantung koroner. Ekstrak daun jati belanda memiliki senyawa-senyawa yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan kuat untuk mengurangi penimbunan kolesterol dalam darah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji aktivitas ekstrak daun jati belanda terhadap kadar kolesterol HDL dan LDL tikus. Ekstraksi daun jati belanda dilakukan dengan cara maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 70%. Uji fitokimia dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kromatografi lapis tipis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian experimental dengan rancangan Post Randomized Controlled Group Design. Dua puluh lima ekor tikus putih dibagi dalam 5 kelompok uji, yaitu 1 kelompok kontrol, 1 kelompok kontrol positif dan 3 kelompok perlakuan (P1, P2, P3) dengan tiap kelompok terdiri dari 5 ekor. Pada kelompok kontrol diberi induksi dengan akuades. Pada kelompok kontrol positif diberi induksi vitamin C 1,8 mg /hr. Kelompok P1 diberi induksi ekstrak daun jati belanda 25 mg/kg BB/hari, P2 diberi induksi 50 mg/kg BB/hari dan kelompok P3 75 mg/kg BB/hari. Pemberian induksi dilakukan selama 14 hari. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Anova satu arah dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dilanjut dengan uji LSD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun jati belanda signifikan menurunkan kadar LDL pada kelompok P3 75 mg/kg BB/hari. Namun ekstrak daun jati belanda tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kadar HDL. Hypercholesterolemia is a state of body cholesterol levels that exceed normal limits. This situation can have an impact on various diseases such as atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease. Dutch teak leaf extract has compounds that function as powerful antioxidants to reduce accumulation of cholesterol in the blood. The purpose of this study was to examine the activity of Dutch teak leaf extract on HDL cholesterol and LDL rat levels. Dutch teak leaf extraction was carried out by maceration using 70% ethanol. Phytochemical test was carried out using thin layer chromatography method. This research is an experimental research with the design of Post Randomized Controlled Group Design. Twenty-five white rats were divided into 5 test groups, namely 1 control group, 1 positive control group and 3 treatment groups (P1, P2, P3) with each group consisting of 5 heads. The control group was induced with distilled water. In the positive control group were given vitamin C induction 1.8 mg / day. Group P1 was given induction of Dutch teak leaf extract 25 mg / kg body weight / day, P2 was given induction of 50 mg / kg body weight / day and group P3 75 mg / kg body weight / day. Induction was given for 14 days. The data obtained were analyzed by one-way Anova with 95% confidence level followed by LSD test. The results showed that Dutch teak leaf extract significantly decreased LDL levels in P3 group 75 mg / kg BW / day. However, Dutch teak leaf extract has no significant effect on increasing HDL levels.

Abstract

Akumulasi Pb2+ dalam darah dapat menghambat kerja enzim-enzim pensintesis hemoglobin (Hb). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis apakah kombinasi kitosan dan vitamin C akan saling bersinergi mengurangi dampak negatif Pb2+ dalam tubuh, terutama terhadap kadar Hb. Penelitian ini mnggunakan Post Test Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah tikus jantan galur Wistar 30 ekor yang terbagi dalam enam kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kelompok kontrol (KK) diberi makan dan minum ad libitum, kontrol negatif (KN) hanya diberi Pb asetat 175 mg/kg BB, kontrol positif (KP) diberi Pb asetat 175 + kitosan 64 mg/kg BB, dan kelompok perlakuan (P1, P2, P3) dipapar Pb asetat, kitosan, dan vitamin C dosis 100, 200, dan 300 mg/kg BB. Perlakuan dilakukan selama 42 hari. Darah tikus diambil pada hari ke-44 untuk diuji kadar Pb darahnya menggunakan metode Atomic Absorbsion Spectrofotometer (AAS) dan kadar Hb dengan metode Cyanmethemoglobin. Hasil uji Anava menunjukkan terdapat penurunan kadar Pb darah dan kenaikan kadar Hb darah secara signifikan pada kelompok yang dipapar Pb asetat dan diberikan kitosan dan vitamin C. Hasil uji lanjut dengan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) menunjukkan bahwa kelompok KK, KP, P1, P2, P3 tidak berbeda secara signifikan, namun bebeda signifikan terhadap kelompok KN. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah kombinasi kitosan dan vitamin C saling bersinergi menurunkan kadar Pb darah tikus dan meningkatkan kadar Hb darah tikus yang dipapar Pb asetat. Accumulation of Pb2+ in the blood inhibits various enzymes involved in heme synthesis pathway. This study aims to analyze the synergy potential of chitosan and vitamine C combination in depleting the detrimental effects exerted by Pb2+ exposure in the body, especially to blood Hb levels. This study use Post Test Control Group Design. The population of the study is male Wistar rats and a number of collected samples are 30 samples. The sample were divided into six group, the regular control (KK), that was fed and water ad libitum, the negative control (KN) was administrated only with Pb acetate at dose 175 mg/kg BB, positive control (KP) was administrated with Pb acetate + chitosan 64 mg/kg BB, and treatment group (P1, P2, P3) that was exposed by Pb acetate 175 mg/kg BB, chitosan 64 mg/kg BB, and vitamine C at dose of 100, 200, and 300 mg/kg BB. The treatment were administrated for 42 days. Blood was then collected on the 44th day to measure blood Pb level using Atomic Absorbsion Spectrofotometer (AAS) method, and to measure blood Hb using Cyanmethemoglobin method. The results of one way Anava showed a significant decrease in blood Pb level and increase in blood Hb level on groups exposed to Pb acetate and treated with combination of chitosan and vitamine C. The results of Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) showed that group of KK, KP, P1, P2, and P3 were not significantly different to one another, but significantly different to the KN group. The conclusion of this study is combination of chitosan and vitamine C is synergy to decrease further blood Pb level and and increase blood Hb level in rats exposed with Pb acetate.

Abstract

Transfluthrin is substance contained in mosquito repellent. Transfluthrin can cause free radical establishment. Bean sprout extract contains antioxidants that have a potential to fight free radical. This research aimed to examine the protective power of bean sprout extract on the quality of spermatozoa and mice SOD levels exposed by transfluthrin. Mice were divided into five groups, namely K was the normal control group, K- was a negative control group, K+ was a positive treatment group. KP1 was a group of mice that were given bean sprout extract dose of 25 mg/20gBB, KP 2 was a group of mice which were given bean sprout extract dose of 50 mg/20gBB. The data obtained were analyzed by oneway Anova confidence followed by the LSD test. Spermatozoa motility test results and SOD levels showed that the negative control group was significantly different from the treatment group. The viability, concentration, morphology tests of spermatozoa were not significantly different between the negative control group and the treatment group. It can be concluded that the addition of bean sprouts extracts in mice exposed to transfluthrin was able to protect the motility of spermatozoa and increase the levels of SOD but were less effective at protecting the concentration, viability and morphology in spermatozoa. Keywords: ekstrak tauge, kualitas spermatozoa, SOD transfluthrin Transfluthrin merupakan salah satu bahan aktif yang terkandung di dalam obat nyamuk. Transfluthrin dalam obat nyamuk dapat menyebabkan pembentukan radikal bebas. Ekstrak tauge memiliki kandungan antioksidan yang berpotensi melawan radikal bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji daya proteksi ekstrak tauge kacang hijau terhadap kualitas spermatozoa dan kadar SOD mencit yang terpapar Transfluthrin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap. Sebanyak 25 ekor mencit jantan galur Balb/c dibagi 5 kelompok, yaitu K: kelompok kontrol normal, K-: kelompok kontrol negatif, mencit di paparan obat nyamuk, K+: kelompok perlakuan positif mencit diberi vitamin E, KP1: kelompok mencit yang diberi ekstrak tauge dosis 25mg/20gBB, KP2: kelompok mencit yang diberi ekstrak tauge dosis 50mg/20gBB. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Anova satu jalan dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD. Hasil uji statistik motilitas spermatozoa dan kadar SOD menunjukkan kelompok kontrol negatif berbeda nyata dengan kelompok perlakuan dan uji statistik viabilitas, konsentrasi dan morfologi spermatozoa tidak berbeda nyata antara kelompok kontrol negatif dan kelompok perlakuan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemberian ekstrak tauge pada mencit yang dipapar transfluthrin mampu memproteksi motilitas spermatozoa dan meningkatkan kadar SOD tetapi kurang efektif memproteksi konsentrasi, viabilitas dan morfologi spermatozoa. Abstract

Electric cigarettes are cigarettes that operate with battery power to burn liquids to produce steam. One ingredient of electric cigarettes that is the same as that in tobacco cigarettes is nicotine. Nicotine is a substance that can cause a person to become addicted, so if a person consumes continuously the body can experience oxidative stress. This is indicated by an increase in MDA levels and a decrease in SOD levels. This study aims to determine the effect of nicotine in e-cigarettes on MDA and SOD levels in blood. The study was conducted on 30 male white rats of the Wistar strain divided into 5 groups, namely the control group (-), control (+), KP1 (electric cigarette with nicotine 3mg) and KP2 (electric cigarettes with nicotine 6mg), and KP3 (cigarettes electric with nicotine 9mg) and exposure to cigarette smoke for 30 days. Data were analyzed by non parametric kruskal wallis and Man Whiteney tests for MDA levels and one way anova test and LSD further testing for SOD levels. The results of the statistical analysis showed that MDA and SOD levels in the control group (-) were significantly different from all groups. The conclusion of this study is that nicotine has an effect on increasing MDA levels and decreasing SOD levels. Rokok elektrik merupakan rokok yang beroperasi dengan tenaga baterai untuk membakar cairan sehingga menghasilkan uap. Salah satu kandungan dari rokok elektrik yang sama dengan yang ada di rokok tembakau adalah nikotin. Nikotin merupakan suatu zat yang dapat menyebabkan seseorang menjadi kecanduan, sehingga jika seseorang mengonsumsi terus menerus maka tubuh dapat mengalami stress oksidatif. Hal ini ditandai dengan adanya peningkatan kadar MDA dan penurunan kadar SOD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh nikotin dalam rokok elektrik terhadap kadar MDA dan SOD pada darah. Penelitian dilakukan pada 30 ekor tikus putih jantan galur Wistar yang dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol (-), kontrol (+), KP1 (rokok elektrik dengan nikotin 3mg) dan KP2 (rokok elektrik dengan nikotin 6mg), dan KP3 (rokok elektrik dengan nikotin 9mg) dan paparan asap rokok selama 30 hari. Data dianalisis dengan uji non parametric kruskal wallis dan Man Whiteney untuk kadar MDA dan uji one way anova dan uji lanjut LSD untuk kadar SOD. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan kadar MDA dan SOD pada kelompok kontrol (-) berbeda nyata dengan semua kelompok. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah nikotin berpengaruh pada peningkatan kadar MDA dan penurunan kadar SOD

Abstract

Land shortage becomes the main environmental problem for many schools in urban areas. Hygienic and eco-friendly behavior, along with waste management are not optimally conducted in the schools. This problem is also encountered in SD Pleburan 03 and SD Pleburan 04, Semarang, Indonesia. This program aims to raise environmental awareness of people in the school to take part in embodying the green school program. The responsibility also belongs to UNNES as one of the conservation-centered universities. Therefore, UNNES community empowerment team carried out a community empowerment program to actualize the environmentally-centered green school idea in SD Pleburan 03-04. Methods applied were arranged in various stages of activities, which are socialization, integration, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Results show that the principal and the teachers of the school are able to develop environmentally based learning infrastructures. Teachers are also able to practice environmentally based learning process. Students are capable to practice hydroponic techniques. Moreover, the school now also possesses an eco –friendly supporting system. In conclusion, this program encourages people of SD Pleburan 03-04 to move forward as an environmentally based green school.

Abstract

Education is an effort to develop the potential in students, the quality of education is determined by the quality of learning. The quality of learning in curriculum implementation aims to foster student character education with HOTS-based assessment (Higher Order Thinking Skill) or higher-order thinking skills that students must have in the 21st century. Students' higher-order thinking skills are analytical skills, analytical abilities can be identified by diagnostic tests . This study aims to develop HOTS items with a diagnostic test to identify students' analytical skills on environmental change learning for class X SMA/MA. The method used in this research is RnD (Research and Development) with a 4D model design including: Define, Design, Development and Desseminate. The subjects in this study were students of class XI and XII MIPA 1 and 2 SMA YSKI, Semarang for the academic year 2020/2021. Data was collected by observation, interviews and literature review. Data were taken from instruments which included: validation sheets, HOTS items with diagnostic tests to identify students' analytical skills, questionnaires for teacher and student responses. Data analysis includes content validation by experts, item validation with the help of Microsoft Excel and Rasch Model The student's analytical ability profile on the small-scale test is 44.8% and the large-scale test is 31.09%.

Abstract

This research is a correlational study that develops quantitative descriptive research. This study aims to obtain information about the relationship between linguistic intelligence and cognitive abilities in the sub-concepts of disaster response actions and other factors that influence it besides linguistic intelligence. This research was conducted in September 2019. The population of this study was MTS Darul Irfan students of Serang City in the academic year 2019/2020. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The sample was 24 students of class VII-A. The data collection method is done by tests, documentation, student worksheets, and observations. Based on the regression and linearity test results, it can be concluded that the simple regression analysis with the equation Y=37.986+0.038X is linear. Based on the result of quantitative research, the correlation coefficient between linguistic intelligence and cognitive abilities is 0,0030. This correlation coefficient value indicates that H0is rejected and H1is accepted, meaning linguistic intelligence weakens student cognitive abilities. In this study, other factors affect student cognitive abilities, among others, strategies and learning methods, development of learning media in schools, and environmental factor of students.
