Abstract

Typhoid fever is an acute systemic disease caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi. Salmonella typhi found in the small intestine will multiply and then produce endotoxin, where the endotoxin produced is a lipopolysaccharide complex and is considered to play a key role in the pathogenesis of typhoid fever. If it enters the body, it will cause the body's condition to become weak, making it easier for Salmonella typhi bacteria to attack body tissues such as the liver and cause SGPT levels to increase. Liver damage in patients with typhoid fever in the form of changes in hepatomegaly, jaundice, biochemical, and histopathological changes. This study aims to provide an overview of Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT) levels in patients with typhoid fever at Haji General Hospital, Makassar City. The method in this study was descriptive, with a sample population of 10 typhoid fever patients. The sampling technique used is Random Sampling. From a study conducted on 10 samples of typhoid fever patients, it was found that 6 samples had normal SGPT levels, and 4 samples had high SGPT levels, with the highest level being 95.2 µl and the lowest level being 15.9 µl. It can be concluded that the increased levels of SGPT in patients with typhoid fever is due to strenuous physical activity and taking certain drugs which can trigger increased levels of SGPT.

Abstract

People have a lifestyle that tends to involve consuming junk food. Fried food is popular among the public because it is fast to serve and easy to obtain. However, the public is less aware of the safety level of fried food sold on the roadside, including fried food sellers' repeated use of cooking oil. Fried food sellers generally operate on the side of the road, where it is highly likely that lead metal (Pb) from dust particles and fumes from passing vehicles will settle in the frying pans and finished fritters. This research aims to determine the levels of Pb in cooking oil repeatedly used by fried food traders around the Muhammadiyah Makassar Health Polytechnic campus. The study was conducted as a laboratory experiment by collecting 10 samples of cooking oil repeatedly used by fried food traders. Based on the results of qualitative tests using the color reaction test method with 10% K2CrO4, 3 samples tested positive while 7 samples tested negative. Subsequently, a quantitative test was conducted by analyzing the Pb levels using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry method. The levels obtained were 0.1317 mg/kg for sample B, 0.2163 mg/kg for sample H, and 0.1589 mg/kg. The maximum allowable limit for lead (Pb) contamination, as stipulated in the Regulation of the Head of BPOM RI No. HK.00.06.1.52.4011 of 2009, is 0.1 mg/kg. Therefore, it can be concluded that cooking oil for frying on the roadside around the Muhammadiyah Makassar Health Polytechnic campus, when repeatedly used, can lead to increased levels of lead (Pb), as evidenced by 3 samples exceeding the maximum allowable limit.

Abstract

This dedication is motivated by the existence of less assertive behaviour in children with mental disability, so that children with special needs (ABK) with mental disability need special guidance so that they can behave more assertively through self-care independence programs. The purpose of this service is to find out the effectiveness of applying assertive training techniques to mentally retarded ABK at SKH Aditiya Silih Asih, Tangerang Regency. This program is assigned to 4 mild mentally retarded crew members run by the PKM-Community Service Team in collaboration with SKH educator Aditya Silih Asih and parents with ABK with mental retardation. Based on the results of observations and interviews, ABK has low behavioral control, tends to be annoying, and difficult to advise. In addition, at SKH Aditiya Silih Asih there are still no educators with a background in Guidance and Counseling, and there are only three educators with special educational backgrounds, so that the provision of treatment for ABK is still not entirely appropriate. The method used to achieve program success is by observing, interviewing, and questionnaires. The results obtained from filling out the questionnaire were 91%, which is high. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of ABK in participating in the program, as well as parents and educators, when participating in Sharing Session activities.

Abstract

ABSTRACT (ENGLISH) Keting Village is one of the villages in the Jombang District, Jember Regency which is directly adjacent to Lumajang Regency, not many know that this village is not only known for tilapia cultivation but is also known for its distinctive rengginang preparations, one of which is the Rengginang Production House owned by Mr. Totok which is located in DusunKrajan 3, where this production house has been running for about 45 years and even its marketing has spread to outside the island, but it is very unfortunate because until now the business does not yet have a brand logo on behalf of the ownership of the home product produced, the business owner has not registered it legally. officially owned MSMEs. Ignorance of business owners regarding business licensing and branding of a product is often exploited by certain individuals to generate greater profits. Marketing that is still offline is considered to be less in line with the digital era like today which should be utilized, related to packaging only 5 kg containers at a price of 85 thousand in one package, it makes people not buy because the packaging is less economical and affordable. Therefore, it is necessary to have a brand label and a Business Identification Number (NIB) in order to minimize the occurrence of unwanted things. The purpose of this research is not only to help develop Mr. Totok's business, to minimize the occurrence of fraud in product marketing, but also to educate Mr. Totok as a producer, especially the wider community about the importance of having a legal business license under the auspices of the law. If this business can develop well, of course it will also have an impact on empowering the workforce in it which will also get better.
