Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of education in the formation of noble character and morals based on the perspective of the Qur'an. The Qur'an as the main source of Islamic teachings emphasizes the importance of holistic education, which not only focuses on the intellectual aspect but also includes moral and spiritual development. The method used in this study is a literature study, by analyzing interpretations and related literature that discusses the relationship between education, morality, and character. The results of the study show that there are several implications in the formation of character and noble morals from the perspective of the Qur'an, such as: 1) Education as a process of self-purification (Tazkiyah), 2) Character formation through parental advice to children. 3) Building character with positive traits and attitudes. 4) Education as a process of noble moral development. This research concludes that education based on the principles of the Qur'an has a crucial role in creating individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have noble ethics, which ultimately contributes to the creation of a harmonious and civilized society

Abstract

Peatland fires are a severe threat to the global environment. Existing peatland fire early detection systems commonly detect parameters such as air temperature, humidity, gas, smoke, and fire. This paper proposes a new peatland fire early detection method using the twig moisture content parameter. This method utilizes the most significant parameter approach for fire vulnerability compared to current peatland fire early detection systems. In particular, we developed an internet of things (IoT)-based twig dryness sensor to realize a field-applicable system. We propose a twig dryness sensor using the resistive sensing method, which employs a needle electrode to measure twig moisture content. Using the twig dryness sensor, three classifications of flammability were obtained, namely very difficult (moisture above 30%), difficult (moisture between 5%-30%) and easy (moisture less than 5%). This device utilizes readily available compact and portable materials. This instrumentation is digitally controlled with a low- power consumption microcontroller and long range (LoRa) transmitter, providing a long-life battery and long-range data transmission. Sensor data visualization is presented as twig dryness values and categorized according to fire vulnerability levels. The proposed system provides real-time and sustainable measurement.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in the development of society and the growth of individuals, with School-Based Management (SBM) being a relevant paradigm for improving the quality of education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the implementation and evaluation of SBM in an effort to improve school quality. Data were collected through documentation studies and analyzed inductively to identify important information related to SBM. The results show that SBM gives autonomy to schools to manage their own educational resources and programs, increases active participation from all relevant parties, and encourages continuous evaluation for improvement. The implementation of SBM can also improve transparency, accountability and the development of principals' leadership skills. However, challenges such as poor understanding of the concept and lack of resource support require attention. Evaluation of SBM provides an overview of changes in school quality and is an important tool for continuous improvement, which in turn contributes significantly to improving the quality of education

Abstract

Desa Mangliawan, Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang, memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan masyarakat dan lingkungan. Namun, desa ini menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan sampah akibat rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam memilah sampah serta keterbatasan fasilitas tempat sampah. Observasi menunjukkan bahwa banyak sampah yang dibuang sembarangan, menimbulkan bau tidak sedap dan berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tempat pemilah sampah perlu dibuat untuk membantu masyarakat dalam memilah dan mengelola sampah dengan lebih efektif. Selain penyediaan fasilitas fisik, juga dilakukan pelatihan dan demonstrasi pemilahan sampah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang baik. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa adanya tempat pemilahan sampah mendorong masyarakat untuk lebih sadar dalam memilah sampah sejak dari sumbernya. Hal ini berdampak pada pengurangan jumlah sampah yang masuk ke tempat pembuangan akhir, serta meningkatkan potensi daur ulang dan pemanfaatan sampah sebagai sumber ekonomi. Dengan demikian, program ini tidak hanya berkontribusi dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih bersih dan sehat, tetapi juga membangun kesadaran kolektif terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran adalah upaya yang dilakukan oleh pendidik dan peserta didik untuk memperoleh dan mengolah pengetahuan serta melatih life skill Itulah sebabnya bahwa usaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khususnya bahasa Arab pada mata kuliah Muhadatsah bukanlah permasalahan sederhana tetapi merupakan permasalahan yang kompleks dan saling berkaitan dengan kreativitas, buku ajar, kualitas pembelajaran serta mutu pendidik. Maka pembelajaran berbasis case method mencoba menjawab minimnya skill dalam memecahkan masalah kehidupan maupun permaslaahan global. Penelitian tindakan digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan subjek peneliti melihat 30 mahasiswa sebagai objek penelitian dengan mengelaborasi hubungan penerapan case method dalam mengatasi demotivasi belajar muhadatsah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga langkah, pertama, aktivitas pra tindakan, kedua, aktivitas siklus 1 dan terakhir aktivitas siklus II. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa terjadi peningkatan motivasi mahasiswa yang awalnya rendah dengan 24.65 % pad siklus kedua setelah dilaksanakan case Method mengalami peningkatan menajadi 63.50%. dan indicator minimal motivasi tinggi adalah 30 % maka dilakukan siklus II dengan tatap muka berbasis case method menagalami peningkatan dengan prosentasi 81.50% Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkannya metode dan pendekartan yang baik dan menarik untuk mencapai motivasi tersebut.

Abstract

This research departs from academic anxiety, the thesis is only used as an annual ritual for student graduation requirements, without paying attention to competency standards, methodology, and actuality of issues regarding the world of education, especially Arabic is ignored. In this case, the thesis of the student of the Arabic Language Education Study Program of Jambi University in 2019-2023. Some of the questions that will be answered in this study are: what are the Arabic language education clusters that have been studied; what is the percentage, which clusters are saturated and need to be abandoned to avoid recurrence; What clusters are still open to be used as topics of study in the future; How is its adaptability to new educational problems that are currently in society. This research is literary, because the data and primary sources come from written materials derived from the 2019-2033 PBA University Jambi University student thesis. This research is descriptive qualitative, data collection using documentation techniques. Written data collected and categorized are then analyzed inductively with content analysis methods. Data analysis techniques are interactive analysis models, namely: data reduction, data submission, and conclusions. The results showed that from 98 thesis, Typology data for the overall study of PBA University Jambi University 2019-2023 student theses, 72 normative studies (73.47%), and 16 pieces of sociology of education or (16.33%). For the actuality of the issue, students of PBA FKIP Study Program of Jambi University are about the issue of applying methods and approaches in learning Arabic. Meanwhile, issues related to contemporary issues regarding Arabic language education, such as translation, content analysis, and character thinking, have not been raised much.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize students' ability to write Arabic sentences through a project-based learning model in the Mabadi 'al-Insha' course. This study uses a qualitative method. The study subjects were students in the second semester of the Arabic Language Education Study Program from PBA 1 and PBA 2 classes. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews with performance instruments, observation guidelines, and interview guidelines. The data collected from the results of this study will be analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The results showed: 1) The application of the project-based learning model to al-quantity material was carried out in several stages, ranging from determining the theme of writing, determining sources, collecting material (writing rules) and mufradat (vocabulary), composing sentences and discussing them collaboratively with team members, to presentations in front of other teams. 2) Students can generally create sentences based on the elements of sentences that have been learned. For example, making sentences in the form of al-Jumlah Ismiyah consisting of mubtada' and khabar, al-Jumlah al-Fi'liyah consisting of fi'il, fa'il, and maf'ul using sentences that correspond to the attached image and also being able to write with the correct writing and harakat. Based on the study results, the project-based learning model can improve student achievement in writing skills.

Abstract

. The qualitative research approach is research that is descriptive and tends to use analysis. The process and meaning are more highlighted in qualitative research, the theoretical foundation is used as a guide so that the focus of research is following research facts. The qualitative approach centers on the description of the subject's perspective, process, and conceptual details of the subject. When these two methods deal with the same research theme, the natural environment is a direct source of data, humans are the main tool/instrument of data collection, and data analysis is carried out inductively.  Results: Results in general in scientific activities take a qualitative approach emphasizing the quality aspect of the quantity studied. Citing information on the Ministry of Education's website, the qualitative approach is an emic perspective. The purpose from an emic point of view is a form of qualitative research approach that uses data in the form of narratives, story details, expressions, and construction results from informants. Data can be obtained from data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and observations.

Abstract

المستخلص: يفشل كثير من المؤسسات التعليمية من تطبيق مهارة الكلام في تعليم مهارة الكلام العربية بسبب عدم استخدام الاستراتيجية المناسبة الاتصالية في العملية التعليمية فأهداف هذا البحث هو: 1) معرفة أنواع الاستراتيجيات المستخدمة في ترقية مهارة الكلام لدى الطلبة في المدرسة الثانوية المحمدية 1 مالانج على ضوء النظرية الاتصالية، 2) اظهار العوامل الدائعة التي تساعد نجاح تنفيذ استراتيجيات في ترقية مهارة الكلام لدى الطلبة في المدرسة الثانوية المحمدية 1 مالانج، 3) تصنيف أثر تنفيذ الاستراتيجيات على ضوء النظرية الاتصالية في ترقية مهارة الكلام لدى الطلبة في المرسة الثانوية المحمدية 1 مالانج.استخدم الباحث المدخل الكيفي بدراسة حالة في هذا البحث. وأما طريقة جمع البيانات وهي الملاحظة، والمقابلة، والوثائق. وأما لتحليل البيانات تتكون من اربع طرق هي: جمع البيانات، تركيز البيانات، وعرضها، والاستنتاج منها. نتائج هذا البحث دلت على أن: (1) أنواع الاستراتيجيات المستخدمة في ترقية مهارة الكلام لدى الطلبة في المدرسة الثانوية المحمدية 1 مالانج على ضوء النظرية الاتصالية هي: استراتيجية إجابة الأسئلة، استراتيجية المناقشة، استراتيجية استمرار القصة، 2) إن العوامل العوامل الدائعة التي تساعد نجاح تنفيذ استراتيجيات هي: استخدام الوسائل التعليمية، استخدام معمل اللغة للتعليم اللغة العربية. 3) وأما أثر تنفيذ الاستراتيجيات فهي: الشجاعة في التحدث مع الزملاء، القدرة والشجاعة في اشتراك المسابقة اللغوية. إن موضوع هذا البحث قاصر على ثلاثة أشياء وهي أنواع استراتيجيات في ترقية مهارة الكلام لدى الطلبة، العوامل المؤثرة على نجاح تنفيذ الاستراتيجيات لترقية مهارة الكلام لدى الطلبة، وأثر نجاح تنفيذ الاستراتيجيات. هناك موضوعات أخرى تتعلق بهذا الموضوع والتي يمكن للباحثين اللاحقين القيام بداستها منها كشف مستوايات كلام الطلاب في المدرسة الثانوية المحمدية 1 مالانج، تصنيف المشكلات التحدث لدى الطلاب من جهة القواعد اللغوية. وأما النتيجة النظرية في هذا البحث فهو: إن استخدام الاستراتيجيات على الضوء النطرية الاتصالية يعين إلى ترقية مهارة الكلام العربية لدى الطلبة.

Abstract

In the context of Indonesian education, this research delves into the discourse surrounding the quality of teachers, focusing on the analysis of Guru Gembul's video content. By employing critical discourse analysis, the study aims to uncover the intricate interplay of identity, ideology, and social relationships as portrayed in the video. Through a deep exploration of language use and communication strategies, the research seeks to shed light on the underlying factors influencing teacher effectiveness and educational reform in Indonesia. The methodology involves a qualitative approach, utilizing thematic analysis of the video transcript and audience comments to reveal insights into the perceptions and challenges faced by teachers in the country. The findings highlight the significance of understanding how teachers construct their identities and ideologies through discourse, and how these constructions impact their interactions with students and the broader educational landscape. By bridging traditional textual analyses with multimedia communication, this study contributes to a nuanced understanding of the complexities surrounding teacher quality discourse in Indonesia, ultimately aiming to inform strategies for enhancing the quality of education and supporting teachers in their crucial role in shaping the future of Indonesian students.
