Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by school principals in improving the quality of graduates in educational units. The quality of graduates is one of the indicators of the success of an educational institution, which is influenced by various factors, including the leadership of the principal. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that school principals implement various strategies such as improving the quality of teachers through continuous training, improving the curriculum that is relevant to the needs of students, strengthening a positive school culture, and improving learning support facilities and infrastructure. In addition, the involvement of parents and the community is also a supporting factor in improving the quality of graduates. With the right strategy, school principals are able to encourage the creation of graduates who excel academically and non-academically.

Abstract

Kelompok Batik Natural Art di Kelurahan Giripurwo, Gunungkidul, menghadapi masalah keterbatasan pasokan listrik PLN yang berdampak pada efisiensi produksi batik cap. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman komunitas mengenai pemanfaatan energi baru terbarukan (EBT) melalui sosialisasi panel surya sebagai alternatif energi yang ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory action research (PAR), dengan melibatkan anggota kelompok secara aktif dalam diskusi, identifikasi kebutuhan energi, serta penyusunan rencana aksi sederhana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman anggota terhadap panel surya dan munculnya komitmen internal kelompok untuk merencanakan pendanaan mandiri instalasi panel surya. Kegiatan ini juga memunculkan kesadaran baru menuju transformasi sosial yang lebih mandiri dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Each literary work must contain the internal elements, writing cannot be called a literary work, because these elements are important in the formation of the literary work. In this poem expresses the feelings of the poet through his elements. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the elements of poetry in it, because knowledge of the analysis of the structure is the elements of the interior, using the theory of the analysis of the structure of this poem. One of the literary works is the poem "I will tell you I love you", a kind of literary genre in which the poet depicts his experience in balanced words. As for the research method used in writing this research, it is the descriptive analytical method, as it describes and analyzes the poem with the theory of structure with its elements. To collect information and data related to this research, we rely on the library method. By reviewing the literary and linguistic scientific books related to this research. Among the results reached by the researcher is that the structure in the poem is four, namely, the subject is the love of women, the emotion is longing, happiness, and fear, and the imagination that the poet depicts is the graphic imagination, the compositional imagination, and the style.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Gontor 8 Aceh is one of the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that implements an Arabic learning system using modern or direct methods. The teacher at Pondok Gontor 8 is assigned to impart the Arabic language with the best possible foundation. The efforts of teachers to improve the ability to speak Arabic to students are very important. Researchers take the type of research based on field studies, or the type of research used for this research is analytical and descriptive research, which is a method that describes the condition of information and conditions related to certain problems with a qualitative approach, to get data on theoretical values, not numbers from statistics. The data in this study are analytical and descriptive, consisting of written and spoken words, as well as from observational behavior. The data needed and their sources in this study are: An overview of Arabic language learning at Pondok Pesantren Gontor 8. Among the teachers' efforts to improve the Arabic language of the Gontor 8 Islamic boarding school students are as follows: bringing teaching aids and explaining their meaning, giving and memorizing new vocabulary and arranging them into sentences, holding conversations while studying and practicing speaking Arabic in front of students. imitate new sentences and words from the teacher with the correct pronunciation of Arabic words.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the development and transformation of the curriculum in integrated Islamic boarding schools (dayah terpadu) in Aceh, with a particular focus on the integration–interconnection of classical Islamic scholarship (turāṡ) and modern sciences. The study is grounded in the urgency of curriculum modernization in Aceh, which is shaped by regulatory dynamics, globalization, and the significant growth of Islamic boarding schools over the past two decades. A qualitative library research approach was employed, drawing on primary sources (classical texts, official regulations, and historical archives) and secondary sources (academic articles, books, and research reports). Data were analysed using thematic-historical and hermeneutic approaches. The findings reveal that the transformation of the curriculum in Aceh’s integrated dayah unfolds across four stages: policy, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. This process signifies an epistemological evolution rather than a mere pragmatic adaptation, emphasizing the integration of Islamic sciences (‘ulūmuddīn) with modern knowledge, informed by Tyler’s curriculum theory, Kuntowijoyo’s and Azra’s integration paradigm, Al-Faruqi’s Islamization of knowledge, and Al-Attas’s concept of ta’dīb. The study concludes that the transformation of the integrated dayah curriculum in Aceh represents a civilizational project that safeguards Islamic traditions while responding to the challenges of global modernity.

Abstract

Education is a strategic sector influenced by various dimensions, including social, economic, cultural, and political. Education policy plays a crucial role in determining the direction, quality, and equity of education services. This study aims to examine education policy analysis through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using the PRISMA method. Data were collected from articles in Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish 8 application, resulting in 100 articles, which were selected into nine relevant articles. The results indicate that education policy analysis has not been fully optimized in its implementation. Some of the main challenges identified include a lack of resources, weak implementation strategies, unclear policy visions, and mismatches between central policies and local conditions. Policy analysis encompasses the processes of problem identification, data collection, alternative formulation, and policy evaluation.

Abstract

Desain penggandengan trailer pivot pada traktor roda dua sudah dilakukan penambahan roda bantu dibawah tempat duduk operator dan penambahan pin pivot, dimana hal ini agar memudahkan operator memanuver trailer yang digandengkan pada traktor saat melintasi lahan yang bergelombang dan belokan. Namun penggandengan ini masih memiliki kelemahan, diantaranya kurang ergonomis pada tempat duduk operator, penempatan kaki operator yang belum bisa menyesuaikan dengan setiap operator dan tidak ada sistem pengereman yang akan mengakibatkan trailer tidak dapat berbelok dengan sempurna di lahan miring, begitu pula dengan penggunaan roda traktor yang dapat menyesuaikan dengan berbagai lahan miring dan tidak menyebabkan kesulitan pada saat penggangkutan hasil panen, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan modifikasi lebih lanjut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis beban kerja operator pada pengoperasian trailer pivot II menggunakan traktor roda dua dengan roda besi termodifikasi di lahan miring sawit. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Tahapan pengujian dilakukan pada lahan datar (0°) dan lahan miring (10°, 30°) dengan pengambilan data awal yaitu data antropometri, data denyut jantung baik pada saat steptest dan saat pengoperasian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengoperasian traktor dengan trailer pivot II menggunakan roda besi termodifikasi pada beberapa variasi kemiringan lahan (0°, 10°, dan 30°) masing-masing menunjukkan nilai Inscrease Ratio of Heart Rate (IRHR) sebesar 1,04-1,07, 1,07-1,19 dan 1,10-1,24 dengan tingkat beban kerja rata-rata “Ringan”. Sedangkan energi rata-rata yang dikeluarkan operator per berat badan dalam mengendarai trailer pivot II pada di lahan datar diperoleh nilai rata-rata yaitu 1,18–1,45 kkal/kg.jam. Pada lahan miring 10° mempunyai nilai 1,40–2,10 kkal/kg.jam. Sedangkan pada lahan 30° adalah 1,62–2,34 kkal/kg.jam.

Abstract

PurposeThis study aimed to find out how the Acehnese language is used by residents in the South Aceh Regency.MethodThis research used a qualitative approach with documentary studies, meta-ethnographic research, field studies, focus group discussions and in-depth interviews. The instruments used comprised data analysis forms, observation forms, focus group discussion guidelines, and in-depth interview guidelines. Data were analyzed qualitatively using the theory and concept of sociolinguistics Results/findingsThis study demonstrated that speakers of the Acehnese language in the South Aceh Regency came from distinct places than those in other Aceh regencies. The performance comprised performances in Acehnese language with and without acculturation of other languages, performances in Acehnese language with acculturation of the Aneuk Jamee language, performances in Acehnese language with acculturation of the Kluet language, performances in Acehnese language with acculturation of the Aneuk Jamee and Kluet languages, and performances in Acehnese language with acculturation of the Indonesian language. Conclusion The performance resulted from the presence of Acehnese speakers in multiethnic areas (Aneuk Jamee and Kluet tribes). Acehnese speakers have been encouraged to integrate with these tribes by their living conditions. Seeking a language that enables them to communicate with one another was the outward manifestation of these adaptation efforts.

Abstract

This aims to analyze and examine laboratory quality management in enhancing student competencies. The research method used is qualitative, specifically a case study approach. The subjects of the study include school principals, laboratory heads, lab technicians, teachers, and students. Data collection was conducted through observations, interviews, literature studies, and documentation analysis. The instruments utilized in this research are observation sheets, interview guidelines, and field notes. The results from both schools indicated that the planning for laboratory quality management was prepared at the beginning of the new academic year, which included annual and semester programs, equipment procurement, and inventory management. The implementation of laboratory quality management involved conducting practical work as scheduled, with facilities used optimally. Monitoring and evaluation of laboratory quality management included regular assessments through observations and interviews with teachers and students to identify any shortcomings. Follow-up actions for laboratory quality management included corrective actions taken based on evaluation results, such as facility improvements and the addition of equipment. Barriers to laboratory quality management included equipment maintenance. Solutions to overcome these barriers involved facility improvements, equipment additions, additional training for staff, increased involvement of lab technicians, and optimizing funding. It was concluded that the series of laboratory quality management within the PDCA framework functioned effectively, commencing with planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and follow-up. The management of the Biology laboratory can optimize the competencies of students at SMA Negeri 1 Ciamis and SMA Negeri 1 Pangandaran.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive description of library management at SMP Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe, covering aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating library services in supporting the learning process. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and document studies. The results show that library management has been carried out in accordance with modern management principles, including planning collections relevant to the curriculum, organizing human resources and facilities, and implementing services oriented toward the needs of students and teachers. Evaluations are conducted periodically to ensure service quality and collection development. However, several challenges were identified, such as budget limitations and the suboptimal use of technology. This study recommends increasing the budget, providing librarian training, and optimizing the use of information technology to improve the effectiveness of library management. With proper management, the library is expected to serve as a learning resource center that supports the achievement of educational goals at SMP Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe.
