Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan pengetahuan kader Posyandu melalui kegiatan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya kesadaran kesehatan di Nagari Lubuk Gadang, Kecamatan Sangir, Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Kader Posyandu memiliki peran strategis dalam upaya peningkatan derajat kesehatan masyarakat, terutama dalam pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan anak, gizi, serta pencegahan penyakit. Namun, masih ditemukan keterbatasan dalam pemahaman kader terhadap praktik dan strategi promosi kesehatan yang efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui metode sosialisasi, diskusi interaktif, dan pelatihan langsung kepada kader. Dalam prosesnya, peserta diberikan materi mengenai pentingnya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS), deteksi dini gangguan tumbuh kembang anak, serta manajemen kegiatan Posyandu. Metode ini dipilih untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif dan saling berbagi pengalaman antar kader, sehingga pengetahuan yang diperoleh dapat diterapkan langsung dalam kegiatan Posyandu di lingkungan masing-masing. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman kader terhadap konsep kesadaran kesehatan dan peran penting Posyandu dalam menjaga kualitas hidup masyarakat. Selain itu, kader menjadi lebih percaya diri dan terampil dalam memberikan edukasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara yang menunjukkan bahwa kader mampu mengidentifikasi permasalahan kesehatan di wilayahnya serta menawarkan solusi berbasis komunitas.kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kapasitas kader Posyandu dan memperkuat kolaborasi antara masyarakat, pemerintah nagari, serta tenaga kesehatan. Penguatan kapasitas kader menjadi langkah penting dalam mewujudkan kemandirian masyarakat di bidang kesehatan. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat berlanjut secara berkesinambungan agar kesadaran dan perilaku hidup sehat semakin melekat dalam kehidupan masyarakat Nagari Lubuk Gadang

Abstract

Kampung Cina is known as an area with cultural and religious diversity in carrying out daily life activities. This diversity certainly has differences in life. The purpose of this research is to analyze the diversity of religion and culture in the community in Kampung Cina in Padang City. Theoretical analysis uses pluralism theory or interculturalism theory. Pluralism theory highlights the existence of diverse beliefs and values in society that coexist harmoniously, while interculturalism theory emphasizes the importance of intercultural interaction and exchange to create better understanding among different groups. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection methods were carried out in three stages, namely participant observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. Data analysis used the Milles and Huberman analysis model. The results of this study indicate that the people of Kampung Cina Padang City live side by side and do not cause conflict. The attitude of tolerance between religions and cultures is very strong and creates a harmonious life. In addition, people live in harmony with each other and have an attitude of mutual respect and appreciation

Abstract

Education in the digital era requires innovative learning, especially in informatics, which develops critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy. However, many schools, including SMA Negeri 2 Pasaman, struggle to provide relevant teaching materials. This study analyzes students' learning needs through a quantitative survey of 98 tenth-grade students. Results show that lectures (31%) and printed books (80%) dominate learning, while students prefer interactive materials with clear content, exercises, images, videos, and animations. The findings highlight the gap between available materials and students’ needs, emphasizing the need for more innovative, engaging, and relevant teaching resources. Highlights: Learning Material Gap – Most schools rely on printed books (80%) and lectures (31%), while students prefer interactive materials. Need for Interactive Learning – Students want comprehensive, easy-to-understand materials with exercises, images, videos, and animations. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of the primary school level school system in Singapore and Hong Kong, to analyze the comparison of the social studies curriculum at the elementary school level in Singapore and Hong Kong. The research method used is the library method with literature reviews from journals, books and other library sources. The results showed that; 1) The education systems in Singapore and Hong Kong have much in common. The school system starts at Kindergarten for 3 years, continues at the Primary or elementary school level. Then Secondary and College Level. The differences in the education systems of the two countries can be seen from the secondary or secondary school level; 2) The social studies education curriculum in Singapore and Hong Kong also has similarities as well as differences. The Social Studies curriculum at Elementary Schools in Singapore integrates the study areas of Geography, History, Economics and Sociology called Social Studies. Meanwhile, Hong Kong is included in the Personal, Social and Humanities Education group material as General Studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Biografi Martin Pengusaha Kopi Cap Matahari pada tahun 2001-2023, yang merupakan permasalahan dalam skripsi ini adalah : Latar belakang kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi keluarga Martin. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui bagaimana latar belakang kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi keluarga Martin, mengetahui bagaimana usaha Martin dalam melanjutkan usaha Kopi Cap Matahari yang dirintis keluarganya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Sejarah yang tersusun dalam empat tahap yaitu : heuristik atau pengumpulan data, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa. Martin merupakan generasi kedua yang mewarisi usaha Bubuk Kopi Cap Matahari ini yang berkembang hingga saat ini, alasan kenapa Martin yang meneruskan usaha bubuk kopi ini karena saudara Martin tidak ada yang bersedia menerima tawaran dari orang tua yaitu Rusli karena menurut Martin lebih pantas saudaranya yang lain usaha bubuk kopi ini. Tetapi pemahaman yang disampaikan oleh Rusli bahwa ini pesan turun temurun dari kakeknya untuk meneruskan usaha ini dan jangan sampai meninggalkan usaha bubuk kopi ini. dan juga dilatarbelakangi oleh pendidikan yang ditempuh Martin yang lulusan DIII dari Teknik Industri Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), jadi sedikit banyaknya ilmu yang didapat bisa dipergunakan untuk perkembangan usaha bubuk kopi ini. Martin mengembangkan pola pemasaran yang berbeda dari ayahnya, yakni melalui media online seperti Shoppe dan Tokopedia, sehingga produksi Kopi Martin banyak dikenal banyak masyarkat luas. Sejalan itu, permintaan terhadap kopinya semakin meningkat sehingga Martin merekrut banyak karyawan. Sehingga tahun 2014 Martin berhasil mendapatkan juara satu pada event UKM AWARD tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Pangan Provinsi Sumatra Barat, Bubuk Kopi Matahari ini sudah mendapatkan penghargaan sebagai industri pangan terbaik. Di bawah kepemimpinannya, usaha bubuk kopi Cap Matahari telah menjangkau pasar luar Sumatera Barat seperti Riau dan Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

Education is able to answer the problems of students and solve the problems faced today. Awareness to protect the environment is very important to be understood by the younger generation, starting from the world of education, especially in the New Normal era. The focus of this study analyzes the application and assistance to students to maintain cleanliness and the school environment in the new normal era. The service method uses direct observation and direct application to students of SDN 34 Siguntur Tua, by carrying out several stages, namely (a) procedures and data collection for program implementation; (b) building cooperative relationships between partners and the education office at the district and provincial levels; (c) evaluation design. The results of the service show that students are enthusiastic in practicing a clean lifestyle in the new norm era. The conclusion is that the actions taken by students work together in community service at school, this shows a sense of caring to maintain the environment at school.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik yang transparan dan akuntabel merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam mewujudkan tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik. Namun, banyak aparatur di tingkat nagari masih menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam mewujudkan standar pelayanan tersebut, termasuk di Nagari Painan Selatan Painan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada aparatur Nagari Painan Selatan Painan Sumatera Barat agar dapat meningkatkan kapasitas mereka dalam memberikan pelayanan publik yang lebih transparan dan akuntabel. Pelatihan ini meliputi peningkatan pemahaman terhadap prinsip-prinsip tata kelola pelayanan publik, pengelolaan informasi secara terbuka, serta penerapan akuntabilitas dalam setiap proses pelayanan. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan aparatur dalam menerapkan prinsip-prinsip tersebut, serta adanya perbaikan dalam pengelolaan pelayanan publik di Nagari Painan Selatan Painan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the design of the inquiry model in history subjects on the material of imperialism and colonialism at SMAN 2 Pulau Punjung, Dhamasraya Regency. As well as knowing the application in learning using the inquiry model of students in class XI F 1 of SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Punjung on the material of imperialism and colonialism. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of history teachers and 22 students of class XI F 1. The focus of the research is on how this inquiry model can encourage the way students think critically both in groups and individually. The results of this study that the application of the inquiry model can improve students' ability to think critically, this approach emphasizes the process of searching and discovering knowledge by students actively through questions, exploration, and investigation, this approach also increases curiosity and improves students' communication and collaboration skills. From the results of the interview describes the classroom atmosphere becoming more dynamic, students' understanding of the material increases, and they are better able to relate historical events to the context of current life. The application of the inquiry model also requires researchers to act as facilitators, not simply as transmitters of material, so that the learning process becomes more meaningful and contextual.

Abstract

This research is motivated by media because learning is a crucial factor in improving the quality of learning. This is due to technological developments in education, which demand efficiency and effectiveness in learning. To achieve optimal efficiency and effectiveness, one effort that needs to be made is to reduce, or even eliminate, the dominance of verbal-based lesson delivery systems by utilizing learning media. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of e-learning for students in the History Education Study Program at Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. It aims to reveal the circumstances and facts of events that occurred during the research. The results of this study with several students in the History Education Study Program at Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat show that most students stated that e-learning was very helpful in accessing materials and submitting assignments. However, some complained about difficulty accessing the system due to technical issues. Some students also felt they did not understand the material optimally because they were not used to studying independently through digital media. This shows that although e-learning offers various conveniences, there are still challenges that must be overcome for its use to be truly effective in supporting the learning process. Abstract

This study aims to examine the community of Lokan divers in Tanah Rekah Village, Mukomuko Regency. The research problem focuses on why many residents became Lokan divers in 2015 and the impact of this livelihood on “the social and economic life of the community from 2015-2025. Lokan diving has been a part of the local community's life since the 1980s and saw a significant increase in 2015, following a decline in the price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) of oil palm”, which was the community's primary commodity. Lokan diving was chosen as an alternative livelihood because it does not require a large capital, and Lokan has high economic and cultural value in the region. “The research method used is the historical method, with stages including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data were collected through observation, interviews with divers, and documentation studies”. The findings indicate that Lokan diving activities have a significant economic and social impact on the community, such as increased daily income and the formation of social solidarity within families and the community. However, since 2022, this activity has begun to decline due to the threat of crocodile attacks in the Selagan River, which has caused fear among the divers.
