Abstract

Information system is a combination of information technology and the activities of people using the technology to support the operation. A good information system can be seen through the effectiveness of information systems and to improve the performance of all elements of the organization are supported by accurate data and more secure, so that all activities can be run more effectively. CV. Mahkota is one company that is engaged in the food industry. One part of the company that plays an important part of marketing and sales. It is important in the marketing and sales is how to introduce and demonstrate products and transactions that can be done all over the world. In this section we still use the traditional system of face-to-face transactions. Therefore, the need to design a computerized information system so that sales are expanding the sales area and facilitate the transaction. This information system design through several stages beginning with the survey company, problem identification, system analysis, design models using UML and finally by designing systems using database information and applications with PHP-MySQL.

Abstract

Nowadays, consumers are getting smarter in choosing products, including food products. Food safety is an important thing that must be considered by the food industry. Unsafe food production can only be done because of food, product needs, lengthy legal process, but can also damage the community. Customer needs demand certainty from the food provided in a way that meets food safety standards, from the garden to the table. To fulfill this reason, all parties involved in the food production process must know and understand well matters related to food procurement standards for the products produced. Rendang is one of the traditional foods of West Sumatra that has begun worldwide. This requires the need to produce rendang with food safety standards is very important. Based on this, within the framework of the Community Service Department of Industrial Engineering UNAND conducts training / technical guidance related to the rendang food procurement standards with training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This activity was expected to help Small and Medium Enterprises to get business standardization.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic which has become a national disaster in Indonesia has changed various aspects of life. Payakumbuh City and 50 Kota Regency are examples of areas affected by Covid-19. Seeing this, students of the Faculty of Engineering, Andalas University have served the community in order to reduce Covid-19. This activity was carried out by providing education related to health protocols to the community, making hand washing equipment equipped with sensors and foot pedals, making tools in the form of sterilization booths that can be used by people in Payakumbuh City and 50 Kota Regency. In addition, this activity was also carried out in the form of educational videos in cyberspace related to how to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic in order to stay healthy and be able to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. The benefits of the activities carried out for the surrounding community are that the community is more sensitive and cares more about health protocols such as wearing masks, washing hands. As well as reducing the spread of the spread of Covid-19 in public service offices such as banks in Payakumbuh City. Then the community also received education regarding the use of yards in planting living kitchens for the survival of people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

CV Citra Dragon is a small and medium-sized industry that produces agricultural machine tools wich is located in Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra. CV Citra Dragon has been active in production since 1976 and has the potential to increase the production of alsintan in order to compete in and outside the country. Therefore, CV Citra Dragon needs to improve the quality of the products produced. The best way to recognize the product quality is by implementing the Quality Management System (QMS). QMS of CV Citra Dragon is necessary to expand to other products which is thresher machine. The research based on ISO 9001-2015 standards. The design of QMS on CV Citra Dragon was done through field survey. Documents made on thresher production units are two compulsory and mandatory records, working procedures on thresher production, as well as working instructions and recording forms required. Once a quality document has been created, the analysis was performed by comparing the pre-existing QMS with the most recent QMS tailored to ISO 9001-2015. Therefore, some documents must be obtained by ISO 9001-2015 in accordance with the QMS used CV Citra Dragon was based on the main process approach. The results of documents that have been verified by the company are the scope of the QMS, quality policy, quality objectives, criteria for evaluation and selection of suppliers, product realization planning records, design and development records, product review, and monitoring records and measurement results. The existence of a good quality document is very important for companies to implement QMS. Keywords : Document, Quality Management System, thresher.

Abstract

One of the factors to increase the competitiveness is the price of product. One of the factors that affect the product price is inventory cost. Shortages inventory can result in the cessation of the production process so that inventory is one of crucial issue in the company's operation while overstock had an effect on high costs. This research aimed to obtain integrated inventory model between products and packaging materials to minimize the total cost of inventory at PT Indomex Dwijaya Lestari considering safety stock. Data used in this research are the major and minor setup cost, production cost (one cardboard products) , sales data of mineral water for cup and bottle products from January 2011-April 2013 , data of production bottle mineral water for cup and bottle products from January 2011-April 2013, and the price of packaging materials . Then, data is processed to obtain the minimum inventory cost by using a phased approach and the simultaneous approach (using the software LINGO 11.0) for inventory model that considers safety stock and inventory model without considering the safety stock.Results of this research obtained an integrated inventory model between products and packaging materials that considering safety stock and without considering safety stock in PT Indomex Dwijaya Lestari. Based on the calculation, the result is valid. The proposed inventory costs are cheaper than the company's current inventory costs. The cost of the company's current inventory is Rp. 15.020.370,09 considering safety stock per month . Inventory costs in the company without considering safety stock is Rp 13.651.301,74 per month. The cost of inventory using gradual approach is Rp. 4.328.441,38 per month considering safety stock and Rp. 2.745.085,15 per month without considering safety stock. The cost of inventory using the simultaneous approach is Rp. 3.543.637,00 per month considering safety stock and Rp. 3.543.637,00 per month without considering safety stock.

Abstract

Perkembangan sistem informasi yang semakin modern menjadikan hidup manusia lebih mudah dan sangat menguntungkan banyak pihak terutama perusahaan. Penggunan sistem informasi ini dapat menunjang aktivitas perusahaan dan dapat mempermudah manajemen aktivitas pada perusahaan. PT Semen Padang telah memiliki sistem informasi yang baik. Salah satunya adalah sistem informasi keuangan yang diintegrasikan untuk sistem informasi lembur. Namun sistem informasi yang ada saat ini belum mendukung sepenuhnya sistem aplikasi yang baik dan benar. Kondisi saat ini, sistem informasi lembur karyawan PT Semen Padang hanya dapat diakses oleh seorang admin pada satu biro. Sejak tahun 2015 frekuensi jam lembur karyawan PT Semen Padang mengalami peningkatan. Departemen Pengadaan adalah salah satu departemen yang memiliki jam lembur yang cukup tinggi. Rancangan sistem yang dibuat adalah rancangan aplikasi sistem berbasis database dan diintegrasikan dengan web. Perancangan perbaikan database sistem aplikasi perhitungan upah lembur karyawan berdasarkan UU RI No. 13 Tahun 2003. Langkah awal yang dilakukan adalah dengan membuat proses bisnis, class diagram, sequence diagram, usecase diagram dan pembuatan program menggunakan php my admin yang diintegrasikan dengan program my sql dengan tujuan meminimasi lembur melalui pengawasan langsung dari kepala departemen jika lembur telah melebihi batas UU RI No. 13 Tahun 2003 ( 54 jam dalam sebulan). Sistem aplikasi yang telah diperbaiki diharapkan mampu memenuhi kekurangan dari sistem yang ada sebelumnya.

Abstract

PT. Cameron System Batam is a manufacturing company that produces oil and gas equipment. In carrying out the production process the company uses a make to order system where there are many types of product models that are manufacture in varying quantities according to customer demand. Presently the the company direct hours productivity is below the target. Major contributed by Department machining at low productivity direct hours, as reported in the last 6 months production report direct hours productivity. One caused of low direct hour productivity is time for set up machine out of control. The research conducted with objective to determine the standard time required for Set up time and improve the work methods provided to increase the direct hour productivity at Department Machining. Shop floor observation required toidentify the activity and constraint face during the set-up processes. Data observation collected using the statistical method uji keseragaman data and uji kecukupan data. Problem and Process activity identify with Operation process chart, flow process chart and man-machine chart. Man-machine Chart result the time required for the set-up processes is 82 minutes with workload for Man (97.6%) and Manchine (2.4%) that’s show uneven workload. Derived from Flow process chart identify the unproductive activity. Analyze the data and information from process chart using the Fishbone diagram to find the possible cause and identify the improvement using the FMEA method improvement priorities. Base on the FMEA analysis result with highest RPN will be use for priorities improvement activity where the result are Key Fixture manual (40), No set up activity during the machine running (30), Attitude (30), no scale measurement available (30), Lack of awareness (27) and baut (t-daslot) jam (24). Perform the simulation by ploting the data improved from analysis result to the man-machin chart, flow process chart results the standar time for set up is 86 minutes where the workload between man (98%) and Machine (85%). It shown that workload even/ balance and the utilization of the machine increase from 2.4% to 85% it will increase the direct hours and improve the direct hours productivity

Abstract

Proses Clearance Sheet untuk pengembalian Smock dan Sandal ESD di PT. XYZ memerlukan waktu yang sangat panjang, yaitu 72 menit untuk satu kali proses. Kondisi tersebut semakin diperumit dengan tidak teraturnya waktu kedatangan karyawan, sehingga petugas yang melayani proses tersebut harus bolak balik setiap ada karyawan yang datang. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan tindakan perbaikan untuk mengurangi waktu yang diperlukan untuk proses Clearance Sheet Smock dan Sandal ESD dengan menggunakan metode Innovation Quality Circle (IQC) atau dikenal juga sebagai Quality Control Circle (QCC). Setelah perbaikan, diperoleh perbedaan antara target hasil pengurangan yang diharapkan (58,33%) dengan aktual target pengurangan yang dicapai (50,00%), dan hasil pengurangan waktu proses Clearance Sheet Smock dan Sandal ESD adalah sebesar 50%, dari sebelumnya 72 menit menjadi 36 menit. Selain itu, dengan standarisasi Jadwal Waktu Pelaksanaan Clearance Sheet membuat proses tersebut menjadi lebih tertib dan menyenangkan bagi karyawan dan petugas yang melayani proses tersebut.

Abstract

Sektor utama penggerak ekonomi Sumatera Barat ditopang oleh lima kategori yaitu pertanian, kehutanan, perikanan, industri kecil menengah (IKM), perdagangan besar dan eceran, serta reparasi mobil dan motor. Oleh karena itu pemerintah berupaya untuk menberdayakan setor ini agar mampu bersaing di era digital. Salah satunya dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada IKM terkait penggunaan digital sebagai sarana promosi dan pemasaran produk, tujuannya agar mampu memperluas pasar dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan pada IKM dalam bertransformasi menuju digital dari sudut pandang manajemen perubahan khususnya pada IKM yang telah mendapatkan pelatihan terkait pengembangan dan promosi produk menggunakan teknologi informasi dengan menggunakan metode dari Kotter’s yaitu leading changes management. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan 19 dari 21 IKM yang diteliti telah merasakan dampak positif digital bagi IKM mereka, namun yang menjadi penghambat mereka untuk terus bergabung dan memperluas pasar di digital adalah Sumber Daya Manusia yang dimiliki belum mampu mengelola digital itu sendiri. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan gambaran awal terkait kondisi IKM dalam bertransformasi menuju digital dan mampu memberikan masukan bagi IKM serta Pemerintah Daerah Sumatera Barat terkait pelatihan yang dibutuhkan oleh IKM dalam membantu mereka untuk bertransformasi digital.

Abstract

Saat ini Wisata Saribu Rumah Gadang tidak memiliki rencana strategi dalam pengelolaan destinasinya. Sebagai destinasi unggulan pariwisata di Kabupaten Solok Selatan, objek wisata Saribu Rumah Gadang mesti dikelola dengan baik dan memiliki perencanaan yang strategis. Saribu Rumah Gadang pada tahun 2017 mendapatkan penghargaan di tingkat nasional sebagai kampung adat terpopuler di Indonesia. Perencanaan strategi dapat membantu objek wisata Saribu Rumah Gadang dalam mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki dan mampu menarik minat wisatawan untuk berwisata di Solok Selatan. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan pembuatan rencana strategi Saribu Rumah Gadang untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas pariwisata dengan mengembangkan segala potensi yang dimiliki. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats). Perencanaan strategi dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu tahapan input, proses dan pencocokan. Terakhir dirancang action plan berupa rencana tindak dan kegiatan untuk menjadi rekomendasi strategi pengembangan pariwisata Saribu Rumah Gadang. Hasil yang diperoleh dari hasil pencocokan adalah pembuatan paket wisata, pemberdayaan masyarakat kawasan objek wisata, mengadakan event-event, upaya meningkatkan minat wisatawan, menerapkan CHSE (Cleanlinnes, Health, Safety, and Environment Sustainbility), pengadaan layanan digitalisasi berbasis android dan IOS, membentuk lembaga pengelolaan dengan mengadopsi konsep Destination Management Organization (DMO), memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan, membangun pusat informasi dan pengaduan wisatawan.
