Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara agraris dengan kekayaan keanekaragaman tanaman, terutama di sektor pertanian. Pada saat ini, industri pertanian masih banyak mayoritas yang menggunakan pupuk anorganik oleh karena itu solusi untuk meminimalisir penggunaan pupuk anorganik yang berlebihan, yakni dengan memanfaatkan pupuk organik. Air limbah budidaya ikan lele memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan, tetapi masih jarang yang memanfaatkanya, dan jika dikombinasikan dengan menggunakan pupuk NPK dalam dosis optimal, maka dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman cabai secara signifikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor utama, yaitu air limbah lele (faktor N) dan pupuk NPK (D). perlakuan air limbah lele terdiri dari 5 taraf yakni, N0 (tanpa perlakuan), N1 (limbah lele 100 ml), N2 (limbah lele 200 ml), N3 (limbah lele 300 ml), N4 (limbah lele 400 ml) dan pupuk NPK terdiri dari 3 taraf yakni D0 (tanpa perlakuan), D1 (pupuk NPK 5 g), D2 (pupuk NPK 10 g). dengan demikian, terdapat total 15 kombinasi dengan 3 ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji anova dan apabila ada perbedaan yang nyata maka harus dilakukan uji BNT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan faktor air limbah lele (N) berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter jumlah buah. Perlakuan N3 dan N4 menghasilkan jumlah buah terbanyak. Faktor pupuk NPK (D) berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter bobot basah tanaman. Perlakuan D1 menghasilkan bobot terberat. Adapun interaksi air limbah lele dan pupuk NPK, berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pengamatan jumlah buah. (N3D1) dan (N4D1) menghasilkan jumlah buah terbanyak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pupuk anorganik, pupuk organik cair, dan pupuk hayati terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah, Jombang, pada bulan Juni s/d Agustus 2025 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk anorganik dengan tiga taraf yaitu: A0 = tanpa pupuk, A1 = dosis 50%, A2 = dosis 100%. Faktor kedua adalah pupuk organik dan hayati dengan tiga taraf yaitu O0 = tanpa pupuk, O1 = pupuk hayati, O2 = pupuk organik cair. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, luas daun, laju pertumbuhan tanaman, laju asimilasi bersih, bobot segar, dan bobot kering tanaman. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji F pada taraf 5% dan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat interaksi nyata antara pupuk anorganik dengan pupuk organik dan pupuk hayati terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy. Pupuk anorganik dosis 50% dan 100% nyata meningkatkan luas daun pada 21 hst, laju pertumbuhan pada 21–28 hst, serta bobot segar dan bobot kering tanaman dibandingkan tanpa pupuk anorganik. Pupuk hayati berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 28 hst, sedangkan pupuk organik cair berpengaruh nyata terhadap laju pertumbuhan pada 14–21 hst serta memberikan hasil tertinggi pada bobot segar 18,19 g dan bobot kering 2,47 g.

Abstract

The rice crop yields in Daterejo Village are erratic from year to year, and farmers often suffer losses. The outbreak of brown planthoppers is one of the threats feared by rice farmers in Daterejo Village. The community service carried out aims to provide knowledge on how to detect early and control brown planthoppers in rice cultivation areas. Service activities were carried out in Daterejo Village, Mojoagung District, Jombang Regency, East Java Province. Implementation of community service activities will be carried out in September 2023. The implementation method for this community service activity uses the Participatory Action Research method. Action and participatory methods are implemented in socialization activities among farmer groups and also training in operationalizing the brown planthopper early detection tool. The community service carried out is by implementing appropriate technology for early detection of brown planthopper insect pests. This early detection tool for insect pests actually has several benefits, including knowing the population of brown planthopper pests in rice clumps. In the socialization, tools for detecting insect pests in rice clumps were explained, and the life cycle of brown planthopper pest insects on rice plants. The hope is that farmers will be able to detect it early when rice planting is taking place, so that there will be no crop failure caused by attacks by brown planthopper pests.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada ibu-ibu PKK dan anggota POKTAN Desa Ngogri Megaluh Jombang, tentang cara bercocok tanam menggunakan sistem hidroponik, Bercocok tanam dengan sistem hidroponik dianggap sebagai alternatif untuk menjaga ketahanan pangan, sehingga masyarakat dapat memperoleh bahan pangan yang sehat dan ekonomis, tanpa perlu berbelanja di luar rumah. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan secara daring yang bertempat di Balai Desa Ngogri Kecamatan Megaluh, Kabupaten Jombang. Meode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah metode CBR(Community Based Research). Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa ibu-ibu, meskipun awalnya minim pengetahuan tentang bercocok tanam dengan sistem hidroponik, menunjukkan minat dan niat untuk menerapkan praktik ini di rumah, sebagaimana tercermin dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan mereka terkait peralatan yang dibutuhkan serta nutrisi yang digunakan. Secara keseluruhan, peserta pelatihan memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Kegiatan ini dianggap mampu memberikan dampak positif bagi ibu-ibu, membantu mereka memahami cara bercocok tanam dengan sistem hidroponik.

Abstract

Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) is a community organization in Indonesia that operates to empower women, especially housewives. The main objective of the PKK program is to improve the welfare of families and communities, especially through empowering women. Therefore, this community service activity focuses on empowering women in the form of training on the fish farming system in buckets (budidaya ikan dalam ember). Budidaya ikan dalam ember (budikdamber) is an aquaponics (fish and vegetable polyculture) which is carried out by utilizing a narrow area of the house yard to cultivate fish and vegetables in containers. Making a budikdamber system does not require expensive costs because it can use used household tools or items. Apart from that, the budikdamber system does not require water and large areas of land. Therefore, this system is suitable for application in narrow yard areas. This service activity was carried out by adopting the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The partners or targets of this community service activity are PKK women from Dukuhmojo village, Mojoagung subdistrict, Jombang regency. The results of the training activities show that through these training activities partners gain knowledge and understanding of the budikdamber system. After attending the training, the partners stated that the budikdamber system could make home gardens more productive. Apart from that, training activities also motivate participants to implement the budikdamber system in their respective home environments.

Abstract

Training on making photosynthetic bacteria (Synechococcus sp.) as plant fertilizer aims to increase participants' knowledge and skills in utilizing photosynthetic microorganisms to support sustainable agriculture. Synechococcus sp., a type of cyanobacteria, has the ability to carry out photosynthesis and produce important nutrients such as nitrogen, which plays a role in increasing soil fertility. Through a service approach based on Participatory Action Research (PAR), this training involves active participation of participants in all stages of the process. This training covers various topics, starting from an introduction to the characteristics and benefits of Synechococcus sp. to isolation techniques, culture, and practical applications in agriculture. Participants are taught in depth how to process these bacteria and apply them to planting media with the aim of increasing productivity and plant health. In addition, participants were given an understanding of the importance of microorganisms in maintaining the balance of agricultural ecosystems. The training evaluation showed very positive results, with a significant increase in participants' understanding of the role of photosynthetic microorganisms in improving soil and plant quality. Participants' interest in applying this technique on their agricultural land was also very high, showing great potential for widespread application of this method. It is hoped that through this training, more environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture can be created by utilizing biological resources, such as Synechococcus sp., to maintain soil health and support sustainable food production.

Abstract

Local food development needs to be optimized to realize food self-sufficiency. Mancilan Village has local food sources that have not been utilized properly, namely spinach and rambutan. There needs to be an effort to optimize these food sources through community empowerment activities. This community service activity aims to improve and develop the skills of the PKK Melati Cadre in Mancilan Village in utilizing the local food potential of rambutan and spinach as processed food products. The approach model applied in this community empowerment activity is a participatory approach as well as asset or resource-based community empowerment. The methods used in this activity include workshops, demonstrations, simulations, and FGDs attended by 30 participants. Food processing training activities in the form of spinach noodles and hair nuggets have succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of Mancilan Village PKK cadres. The ease of raw materials and the process of making products are supporting factors in product application. On the other hand, based on the hedonic test of spinach noodle and rambutan nugget products, the average shows a positive value in terms of taste, color, aroma, and texture of the product.

Abstract

Urban farming is a rapidly evolving concept in communities where families in residential areas are beginning to play a role in local food production. The implementation of appropriate technology proves to be a highly relevant solution to support urban farming. The goal of this program is not only to provide concrete solutions to the issues faced by partners but also to enhance the benefits of existing assets and potential in the Murukan village community, focusing on improving urban farming productivity, resource conservation, and providing education and empowerment to partners. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method is the approach used in the implementation of this community service program, with stages including: (1) Identifying community needs and potentials, (2) Designing an automatic watering tool, (3) Manufacturing and testing the tool, (4) Training, implementation, and (5) Joint evaluation. The results of this program show an increase in basic knowledge, reaching a 50% improvement from previously limited levels. The practical abilities of partners, which were previously very limited, progressed by 60%, indicating that partners can follow team instructions better. Technical skills of partners also showed significant improvement with a 70% percentage increase. Partner confidence and previously low productivity improved by 40% and 55%, respectively, after participating in this program. The efficiency of tool usage became more effective, with a 65% percentage increase. There was a 55% increase in productivity from the previously low category. Overall, the percentage progress after participating in this program indicates that the program is acceptable and runs well.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari respon tanaman jagung terhadap pemupukan bokashi dan C. juncea. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei  hingga Oktober 2012 di kebun percobaan Universitas Brawijaya, Desa Jatikerto, Kecamatan Kromengan, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial, meliputi 2 faktor yang diulang 3 kali. Faktor pertama ialah dosis pupuk hijau  C. juncea dengan 3 taraf, yaitu: Tanpa C. juncea (C0), 10 ton ha-1 (C1) dan 20 ton ha-1 (C2). Faktor kedua ialah dosis pupuk bokashi dengan 4 taraf, yaitu: Tanpa bokashi (B0), 5 ton ha-1 (B1), 10 ton ha-1 (B2) dan 15 ton ha-1 (B3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penambahan bokashi sampai taraf 15 ton ha-1 belum mampu mengurangi kebutuhan C. juncea pada area penanaman jagung. Penggunaan pupuk bokashi sebanyak 15 ton ha-1 nyata meningkatkan hasil tanaman jagung sebesar 23,86 % dibandingkan tanpa pupuk bokashi, hasil ini lebih besar dibandingkan peningkatan hasil jagung akibat penggunaan C. juncea 5 dan 10  ton ha-1 sebesar  11,90 % dan 18,09 %. Penggunaan pupuk hijau C. juncea sebanyak 20 ton ha-1 nyata meningkatkan hasil tanaman jagung sebesar 17,34 % dibandingkan tanpa C. juncea, hasil ini lebih baik dibandingkan peningkatan hasil tanaman jagung akibat penggunaan 10 ton ha-1 C. juncea yang mencapai 9,22 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh air limbah lele terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi pakcoy, yang meliputi:  panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot basah, intensitas serangan hama, dan penyakit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial. Metode ini menggunakan 7 perlakuan yakni (F1) air biasa 250 ml, (F2) air biasa 250 ml + pupuk NPK 0,75 g/tanaman, (F3) air biasa 200 ml + air limbah lele 50 ml, (F4) air biasa 150 ml + air limbah lele 100 ml, (F5) air biasa 100 ml + air limbah lele 150 ml, (F6) air biasa 50 ml + air limbah lele 200 ml, (F7) air limbah lele 250 ml dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian ini pada parameter panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, dan luas daun menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan yang nyata akibat pemberian air limbah lele, namun pada parameter bobot brangkasan dan bobot total tanaman menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata pada perlakuan F4, F5, F6, dan F7. Adapun hama dan penyakit yang muncul ialah ulat daun, belalang kayu, dan bercak daun, dari keseluruhan intensitas serangannya menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan yang nyata akibat perlakuan air limbah lele.
