Abstract

This study discusses financial literacys, experienced regrets, framing effect and mental accounting on investment decisions with risk tolerance as an intervening variable. The number of respondents used in this study was 200 respondents. All respondents are millennials with age 21-40 years old and have a minimum income of IDR 5,000,000, who live in DKI Jakarta. The data in this study were obtained from the results of questionnaires which were then analyzed using SEM PLS analysis techniques with the help of the smartpls program. Based on the results of the analysis in this study the results of financial literacy, experienced regret, framing effects and mental accounting are applied to risk tolerance. The results of the subsequent analysis showed that financial literacy, regrets and framed the effect of influencing on investment decisions, while mental accounting directly cannot influence on investment decisions. The results of the analysis in this study also showed that risk tolerance can mediate the financial literature, experience regret, and the effect of framing on investment returns. Abstract

This study aims to identify the motivations and constraints of new entrepreneurs in their 40s in Jabodetabek. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach. The authors used the grounded theory approach. Researcher resources were taken based on the purposive sampling method. The collection techniques used by the researchers were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used was Nvivo12. Based on the results of a qualitative study using a grounded theory approach regarding the motivation, constraints, and efforts to resolve the barriers of new entrepreneurs in the 40s, some conclusions can be made regarding the motivation of new entrepreneurs in their 40s including (1) underlying. Motivation for entrepreneurs. Starting in their 40s to start a business is self-actualization. This motivation is based on the desire of new entrepreneurs in their 40s to advance themselves to be better than the previous situation and condition. (2) the motivation that drives new entrepreneurs in their 40s to start a business is the motivation to want to progress. The entrepreneur desires to change the fate of those who initially worked in the company or are housewives. This motivation is based on the desire to change for the better. In terms of constraints and efforts to resolve the constraints of new entrepreneurs in their 40s, the authors cover (1) Constraints in business management, including human resources, capital, and infrastructure. Efforts made by new entrepreneurs in their 40s to solve business management problems are collaborative efforts, capital management, and network expansion. (2) Constraints on own-self. The age factor is a significant issue new entrepreneurs face in their 40s. Efforts are being made to improve the self-quality of new entrepreneurs in their 40s.

Abstract

Capital structure is a complex financial decision because it is related to other financial decision variables. This study aims to determine what factors affect the capital structure of pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX in 2016-2021. The population in this research is all pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016-to 2021. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling method and obtained a sample of 10 pharmaceutical companies. The data source is secondary data from the website (www.IDX.co.id). This study uses panel regression analysis. Company Growth, Tangibility, and Firm Size are three variables that have a significant effect on capital structure. Liquidity, NDTS and profitability had no effect on capital structure. As a result, this variable does not need to be used as a proxy for investment considerations, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.

Abstract

Factors that influence employee retention through perceived organizational support is an article to prove whether perceived organizational support is proven to mediate Career Development Practices, Employee Retention, Organizational Justice on employee retention. This research approach uses the SEM-PLS data analysis method. The findings of this study are: 1) Career Development has a positive effect on Employee Retention through Perceived Organizational Support; 2) Organizational Justice has a positive effect on Employee Retention through Perceived Organizational Support; 3) Trust in Organization has a positive effect on Employee Retention through Perceived Organizational Support.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of profitability, asset structure, and firm size on debt policy in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015 – 2020 period. The independent variables used in this study consist of profitability using return on assets (ROA), asset structure are proxied by the value ot total assets divided by fixed assets, and and company size is proxied by the value of Ln of total assets. The dependent variable used is debt policy. The data used as samples in this study are financial reports and annual reports of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015–2020. The sampling method used in this study is a purposive sampling technique with 39 companies that meet the criteria used as samples. study. This research uses panel data regression analysis model. The model used in this study is the random effect model (REM). The results of this study indicate that profitability has a negative and significant effect on debt policy. Asset structure has a positive and insignificant effect on debt policy. Meanwhile, firm size has a positive and significant effect on debt policy.

Abstract

Kemampuan manajemen keuangan dalam hal perencanaan keuangan menjadi salah satu kemampuan yang wajib dimiliki oleh para buruh migran yang bekerja di luar negeri dengan meningkatkan literasi keuangan mereka. Sebab dengan kemampuan manajemen keuangan yang baik dapat melakukan perencanaan keuangan yang efektif, efisien, dan bermanfaat, sehingga para buruh migran diharapkan dapat meningkatkan tingkat kesejahteraannya saat kembali ke tanah air memiliki modal yang cukup selama merantau di luar negeri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar para pekerja migran di Taiwan memiliki pengetahuan literasi keuangan yang baik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pemaparan materi, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para pekerja migran dapat melakukan perencanaan keuangan rumah tangga. Dengan memiliki literasi keuangan yang baik, masyarakat Indonesia diharapkan menjadi lebih maju, sehat, dan sejahtera khususnya pekerja migran di Taiwan.

Abstract

Initial Public Offering (IPO) is known as one of the efforts to obtain a source of funds for a company in order to develop the business to be optimal. Capital is the funds used for investment by the owner in running his business. A company or business definitely requires additional funds, so that the company's operations can run optimally and develop more. When an IPO experiences a difference in stock prices, there are terms underpricing and overpricing. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence underpricing at the time of the IPO on the Indonesian stock exchange. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of thr study show that the underpricing factors on Initial Public Offering (IPO) On In Indonesia Stock Exchange are profitability, leverage, underwriter reputation, company size, and percentage of stock offered against underpricing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically test the effect of financial literacy, financial stressors, and risk tolerance for the financial satisfaction of the millennial generation in Jakarta using digital wallets. The data analysis method in this study uses Partial Least Square - Structural Equation. This study used a sample of 130 respondents. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire distributed to the millennial generation in Jakarta. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between financial literacy and financial satisfaction, then there is a positive and insignificant relationship between financial stress and financial satisfaction, and then there is a positive and insignificant relationship between risk tolerance and financial satisfaction at millennial generation in Jakarta digital wallet users.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and service quality on repurchase intention with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. population of customers Printing CV. Prima Anugerah Sejati as many as 372 in December 2020. This study used 36 indicators, so that using an estimate based on the number of indicators obtained a sample size of around 180 respondents. Interval data in this study were generated using the Agree-Disagree Scale technique by developing statements that produce agree-disagree answers in various ranges of values ​​(Ferdinand, 2014: 160).The testing of the hypothesis in this study uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS).The research results indicate that 1)product qualityhas a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, indicating that if the quality of the product offered is getting better, customer satisfaction will increase.2) quality of servicehas a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, indicating that if the quality of service provided is getting better, customer satisfaction will increase. 3) customer satisfaction is able to significantly mediate the effect of product quality on repurchase intention, indicating that customer satisfaction is a factor that can significantly increase the effect of product quality on repurchase intention. 4) customer satisfaction is able to significantly mediate the effect of service quality on repurchase intention, customer satisfaction is a factor that can significantly increase the effect of service quality on repurchase intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the social and financial impact on life after retirement issues from the academic staff of Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. A detailed questionnaire was developed and used to collect primary data from a sample of 95 academic staff at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta using a convenient sampling method. Descriptive analysis was used to study the demo charts, their preferences, and preferences on the choice of investment path, retirement goals, and academic staff investment goals. The social components and financial problems of life after retirement were also identified through factor analysis. The main components that explain 46.2% of the variance in the financial problems of life after retirement are: clarity of purpose, optimism, provision, anticipation and preparation, investment confidence, future position, and immediacy. Meanwhile, the main components that explain 50.6% of the variation in academic staff retirement social problems are: retirement roles, depression, financial worries, adjustments, economic trends, predictions, expectations, changes in life responsibilities, and financial advice. While the main components that explain the 45% variation in academic staff retirement planning are: planning, training, trust. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami dampak sosial dan keuangan dari isu-isu pada kehidupan setelah pensiun dari tenaga akademik Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Kuesioner rinci dikembangkan dan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data primer dari sampel 95 tenaga akademik di Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel yang nyaman (convenience sampling). Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mempelajari grafik demo, kesukaan dan preferensi mereka pada pemilihan jalan investasi, tujuan pensiun, dan tujuan investasi tenaga akademik. Komponen sosial dan masalah keuangan kehidupan setelah pensiun juga diidentifikasi melalui analisis faktor. Komponen utama yang menjelaskan 46,2% varians dalam masalah keuangan kehidupan setelah pensiun adalah: kejelasan tujuan, optimisme, ketentuan, antisipasi dan persiapan, keyakinan investasi, posisi masa depan, dan kedekatan. Sedangkan komponen utama yang menjelaskan 50,6% variasi masalah sosial pensiun tenaga akademik adalah: peran pensiun, depresi, kekhawatiran keuangan, penyesuaian, ekonomi tren, prediksi, harapan, perubahan dalam tanggung jawab hidup, dan nasihat keuangan. Sedangkan komponen utama yang menjelaskan variasi 45% dalam perencanaan pensiun tenaga akademik adalah: perencanaan, pelatihan, kepercayaan.
