Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil analisis berupa kajian literatur pada hasil penelitian mengenai pengembangan buku cerita IPA terpadu bermuatan pendidikan karakter yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Kajian pustaka dilakukan pada 7 artikel yang dipublikasikan di berbagai jurnal dari tahun 2014 sampai 2022. Kajian pustaka dilakukan dengan menggunakan 4 metode yaitu pemilihan topik yang akan direview, melakukan pencarian dan penyeleksian artikel yang berkaitan dengan topik yang sudah ditemukan, melakukan analisis dan sintesis literatur, serta melakukan organisasi tulisan. Hasil dari literatur review ini menunjukkan bahwa buku cerita IPA terpadu bermuatan pendidikan karakter dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa, motivasi belajar siswa, mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi dan  menumbuhkan karakter dalam diri siswa.  Dalam alur ceritanya pun mengandung pesan-pesan moral sehingga dapat menumbuhkan nilai karakter ke dalam diri siswa secara langsung tanpa unsur paksaan melalui peranan dari tokoh cerita.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the understanding and implementation of legal aspects in e-commerce platforms in the era of digital transformation in Batununggal Village, Cibadak District, Sukabumi Regency. The program was implemented through a workshop method with a participatory approach, involving 20 MSME players. The result was 30% who have utilized the e-commerce platform and 85% admitted to have a limited understanding of the legal aspects of electronic transactions. The program also resulted in the establishment of a digital business community and a digital legal consultation center at the village level. The sustainability of the program is supported through an ongoing mentoring system and the development of an online learning module

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to solve mathematical problems, which is reflected in the results of surveys and previous research. Even though mathematics is considered an important subject, many students still experience difficulties in understanding and solving mathematical problems, including solving problems with systems of linear equations in one variable. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. This research aims to describe and analyze students' problem solving abilities. The subjects used were 30 selected class VIII students at Al-Faruqi Middle School. Data was collected through tests, then analyzed to identify student errors in solving problems on systems of linear equations in one variable. The results of the research show that the majority of students experience difficulty in understanding basic concepts, are less thorough in the problem solving process, have difficulty understanding problem questions, and have difficulty allocating time when working on questions. Based on data analysis, the percentage of student errors is classified as moderate. From these results, it is concluded that further efforts are still needed to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities, especially in the context of one-variable linear equation systems. This can be done by focusing more on identifying factors that cause student errors and developing learning strategies that are more effective in improving students' understanding and problem solving skills in mathematics.

Abstract

Pajak mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan bernegara, khususnya di dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan karena pajak merupakan sumber pendapatan negara untuk membiayai semua pengeluaran termasuk pengeluaran pembangunan. Pajak merupakan kontribusi orang ke kas negara terhadap hukum (bisa dipaksakan) dengan tidak bisa menyeimbangkan pendapatan. Yang memiliki tujuan dan digunakan untuk pemukiman umum. Seperti kita ketahui bahwa pajak memiliki bagian dari peningkatan pembangunan ekonomi. Pembangunan ekonomi merupakan proses yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat percapita untuk program jangka panjang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja peranan pajak daerah dalam pembangunan ekonomi lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Peran pajak daerah dalam pembangunan ekonomi lokal yaitu pendanaan infrastruktur, pemberdayaan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM), penciptaan lapangan kerja, peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM), dan stabilitas ekonomi. (2) Tingkat urbanisasi suatu daerah secara signifikan mempengaruhi efektivitas pajak daerah dalam mendorong pembangunan ekonomi.

Abstract

This study investigated the alignment of the RADEC model with psychological principles and cognitive processes to strengthen creative thinking skills. The method used in this study was quasi-experiment with non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. A total of 48 students as samples of this study were grouped into experimental groups and control groups. The data were collected through test instruments in the form of case study questions to assess students' creative thinking skills. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistical test and independent-sample t test with the help of SPSS version 29 for windows. The findings of this study reveal that the RADEC learning model effectively strengthens students' creative thinking skills. The steps of this model help foster innovative creative thinking in students' problem-solving. The implications of this study highlight the RADEC model as an effective framework for fostering creativity in education. It supports curriculum developers and educators in designing learning processes that nurture students' innovative and critical thinking skills, essential for 21st-century challenges. The model's adaptability to diverse learning styles ensures broader applicability across educational contexts, contributing to the development of problem-solving abilities needed in real-world scenarios.

Abstract

Diarrhea remains a major health problem in South Jakarta, particularly in densely populated areas like RW 02 Kelurahan Kramat Pela, with key risk factors including poor environmental sanitation and low adherence to Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS). This community service initiative aimed to enhance diarrhea prevention through education on environmental sanitation, personal hygiene, and demonstrations of proper handwashing with soap (CTPS) and waste composting. The Bryant method was used to prioritize interventions, identifying diarrhea as the primary issue (score 108). The program, conducted on April 28, 2025, involved 12 participants and employed lectures, discussions, and visual aids. Wilcoxon test results indicated no significant knowledge improvement (p-value=0.558), but increased awareness and active participation were observed. These findings suggest the need for improved methods, such as longer duration, sustained mentoring, and more interactive educational tools. The study underscores the importance of multidimensional and sustained approaches for behavioral change in diarrhea prevention.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is a crucial skill in modern education. However, the limited availability of effective learning media remains one of the main factors contributing to the low level of scientific literacy among students in Indonesia. This study aims to develop a scientific literacy-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) as a learning medium. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 3D model, which consists of Define, Design, and Develop stages. Data were collected and analyzed through interviews, validation sheets completed by material experts  and media experts, readability assessments conducted by a biology teacher and students, and response questionnaires administered to fifteen 10th-grade students at MAN 1 Bandung. The data were interpreted using a Likert scale. The results indicated that the LKPD received a validation score of 72% (valid) from the material expert and 92% (highly valid) from the media expert. The readability test produced scores of 81.2% (easy to understand) from the teacher and 87.3% of students. Student responses were also highly positive, with an average score of 86.6%. Based on these findings, the developed LKPD is feasible for classroom use and engage students in practicing scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are crucial for developing students' critical thinking in mathematics learning; however, many students still struggle in this area. This study aims to analyze students' mathematical communication skills on the topic of triangles. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with six students as the research subjects. Data were collected through essay tests and interviews. The results show that overall, students' mathematical communication skills are categorized as high, with one indicator classified as very high, namely the ability to create models of situations or problems using oral, written, concrete, graphical, and algebraic methods. Three indicators are categorized as high: reflecting real objects, images, and diagrams into mathematical ideas; reading and understanding mathematical representations; and making conjectures, constructing arguments, and generalizing. One indicator is categorized as low, namely the ability to express daily events in mathematical language or symbols. Students tend to have difficulty connecting contextual problems to mathematical symbols. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing students' mathematical communication skills in the learning process.

Abstract

Non-performing loans (NPLs) resulting from banking crimes pose a significant threat to financial system stability. In many cases, conventional recovery mechanisms such as collateral execution or criminal proceedings fail to effectively return misappropriated assets. This article explores the concept of Non-Conviction Based Asset Forfeiture (NCBAF) as an alternative legal instrument for asset recovery without the necessity of a criminal conviction, particularly in the banking sector. Utilizing a comparative legal approach between Indonesia, the United States, and Thailand, along with the theoretical framework of Economic Analysis of Law and responsive law theory, this study evaluates the urgency of asset recovery reform in Indonesia. The findings indicate that NCBAF can accelerate asset recovery from banking-related crimes while enhancing legal efficiency and reducing state burdens. The article recommends adapting the NCBAF framework in the Draft Law on Asset Forfeiture and establishing an independent asset management institution.

Abstract

Jam is a semi-wet food product made from fruits with added sugar. Tamarillo (Solanum betaceum Cav.) is a fruit whose processing is still limited, usually being made into juice. The aim of this study is to investigate and analyze the effects of the ratio between tamarillo pulp and pomelo albedo pulp on chemical characteristics (moisture content, crude fiber, total dissolved solids, and pH), sensory and hedonic properties, and to select the product for further antioxidant activity testing. The research design used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single factor, which is the ratio of tamarillo pulp to pomelo albedo pulp, with four treatment levels: (100%:0%), (85%:15%), (70%:30%), and (55%:45%). The data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's post hoc test at a 95% confidence level. The results showed that the jam product with the formulation of 85% tamarillo pulp and 15% pomelo albedo pulp significantly affected the chemical characteristics (moisture content 31.41%, pH value 3.96, IC50 antioxidant activity value of 8.73 ppm, classified as very strong, total dissolved solids value of 40.50%), with sensory and hedonic properties resulting in a jam product that had a reddish-purple color, a distinct tamarillo aroma, a sweet-sour taste, a non-bitter aftertaste, a soft texture in the mouth, easy spreadability, and an overall preference towards liking.
