Abstract

Pajak mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan bernegara, khususnya di dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan karena pajak merupakan sumber pendapatan negara untuk membiayai semua pengeluaran termasuk pengeluaran pembangunan. Pajak merupakan kontribusi orang ke kas negara terhadap hukum (bisa dipaksakan) dengan tidak bisa menyeimbangkan pendapatan. Yang memiliki tujuan dan digunakan untuk pemukiman umum. Seperti kita ketahui bahwa pajak memiliki bagian dari peningkatan pembangunan ekonomi. Pembangunan ekonomi merupakan proses yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat percapita untuk program jangka panjang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja peranan pajak daerah dalam pembangunan ekonomi lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Peran pajak daerah dalam pembangunan ekonomi lokal yaitu pendanaan infrastruktur, pemberdayaan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM), penciptaan lapangan kerja, peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM), dan stabilitas ekonomi. (2) Tingkat urbanisasi suatu daerah secara signifikan mempengaruhi efektivitas pajak daerah dalam mendorong pembangunan ekonomi.

Abstract

This study investigated the alignment of the RADEC model with psychological principles and cognitive processes to strengthen creative thinking skills. The method used in this study was quasi-experiment with non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. A total of 48 students as samples of this study were grouped into experimental groups and control groups. The data were collected through test instruments in the form of case study questions to assess students' creative thinking skills. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistical test and independent-sample t test with the help of SPSS version 29 for windows. The findings of this study reveal that the RADEC learning model effectively strengthens students' creative thinking skills. The steps of this model help foster innovative creative thinking in students' problem-solving. The implications of this study highlight the RADEC model as an effective framework for fostering creativity in education. It supports curriculum developers and educators in designing learning processes that nurture students' innovative and critical thinking skills, essential for 21st-century challenges. The model's adaptability to diverse learning styles ensures broader applicability across educational contexts, contributing to the development of problem-solving abilities needed in real-world scenarios.

Abstract

Diarrhea remains a major health problem in South Jakarta, particularly in densely populated areas like RW 02 Kelurahan Kramat Pela, with key risk factors including poor environmental sanitation and low adherence to Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS). This community service initiative aimed to enhance diarrhea prevention through education on environmental sanitation, personal hygiene, and demonstrations of proper handwashing with soap (CTPS) and waste composting. The Bryant method was used to prioritize interventions, identifying diarrhea as the primary issue (score 108). The program, conducted on April 28, 2025, involved 12 participants and employed lectures, discussions, and visual aids. Wilcoxon test results indicated no significant knowledge improvement (p-value=0.558), but increased awareness and active participation were observed. These findings suggest the need for improved methods, such as longer duration, sustained mentoring, and more interactive educational tools. The study underscores the importance of multidimensional and sustained approaches for behavioral change in diarrhea prevention.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is a crucial skill in modern education. However, the limited availability of effective learning media remains one of the main factors contributing to the low level of scientific literacy among students in Indonesia. This study aims to develop a scientific literacy-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) as a learning medium. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 3D model, which consists of Define, Design, and Develop stages. Data were collected and analyzed through interviews, validation sheets completed by material experts  and media experts, readability assessments conducted by a biology teacher and students, and response questionnaires administered to fifteen 10th-grade students at MAN 1 Bandung. The data were interpreted using a Likert scale. The results indicated that the LKPD received a validation score of 72% (valid) from the material expert and 92% (highly valid) from the media expert. The readability test produced scores of 81.2% (easy to understand) from the teacher and 87.3% of students. Student responses were also highly positive, with an average score of 86.6%. Based on these findings, the developed LKPD is feasible for classroom use and engage students in practicing scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are crucial for developing students' critical thinking in mathematics learning; however, many students still struggle in this area. This study aims to analyze students' mathematical communication skills on the topic of triangles. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with six students as the research subjects. Data were collected through essay tests and interviews. The results show that overall, students' mathematical communication skills are categorized as high, with one indicator classified as very high, namely the ability to create models of situations or problems using oral, written, concrete, graphical, and algebraic methods. Three indicators are categorized as high: reflecting real objects, images, and diagrams into mathematical ideas; reading and understanding mathematical representations; and making conjectures, constructing arguments, and generalizing. One indicator is categorized as low, namely the ability to express daily events in mathematical language or symbols. Students tend to have difficulty connecting contextual problems to mathematical symbols. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing students' mathematical communication skills in the learning process.

Abstract

Non-performing loans (NPLs) resulting from banking crimes pose a significant threat to financial system stability. In many cases, conventional recovery mechanisms such as collateral execution or criminal proceedings fail to effectively return misappropriated assets. This article explores the concept of Non-Conviction Based Asset Forfeiture (NCBAF) as an alternative legal instrument for asset recovery without the necessity of a criminal conviction, particularly in the banking sector. Utilizing a comparative legal approach between Indonesia, the United States, and Thailand, along with the theoretical framework of Economic Analysis of Law and responsive law theory, this study evaluates the urgency of asset recovery reform in Indonesia. The findings indicate that NCBAF can accelerate asset recovery from banking-related crimes while enhancing legal efficiency and reducing state burdens. The article recommends adapting the NCBAF framework in the Draft Law on Asset Forfeiture and establishing an independent asset management institution.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Work Environment as an intervening variable of Compensation and Work Facilities for Job Satisfaction at PT. Telkom Aksess Balikpapan. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The object of the research is the employee of PT. Telkom Aksess Balikpapan with a sample of 59 employees. Data collection was carried out through the dissemination of questionnaires The results of the study showed that the Compensation has a significant effect on the Work Environment, Work Facilities also have a significant influence on the Work Environment, a good Work Environment contributes significantly to Job Satisfaction, Compensation has a direct influence that is not significant on Job Satisfaction, Work Facilities also have a direct influence on job satisfaction, Work Environment was able to function as a full mediator in Compensation for Job Satisfaction, as well as as serve as a partial mediator in Work Facilities for Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Merokok adalah kegiatan menghisap rokok yang dilakukan oleh manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan merokok sudah menjadi bagian dari kebutuhan bagi beberapa kalangan yaang mengalami kecenderungan terhadap rokok. Merokok merupakan masalah yang masih sulit diselesaikan hingga saat ini, berbagai dampak dan bahaya merokok sebenarnya sudah di publikasikan kepada masyarakat. Namun kebiasaan merokok masih sulit untuk dihentikan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa mengenai dampak buruk rokok bagi kesehatan. Populasi dan sampel pengabdian ini berjumlah 20 orang. Selama kegiatan berlangsung seluruh peserta sangat antusias mendengarkan sambil memberikan respon yang baik, kemudian pertanyaan - pertyaan yang diberikan peserta di jawab dengan baik oleh Narasumber. Diharapakn dengan adanya kegiatan ini siswa SMP Negeri 1 Angkola Selatan lebih bijak sehingga berhenti merokok, dan sekolah bebas asap kokok, para perokok pasif terhindar dari bahaya asap rokok. Kunci : Rokok, Siswa, Kesehatan ABSTRACT Smoking is the activity of smoking cigarettes carried out by humans in everyday life and smoking has become part of the need for some groups who have a tendency towards smoking. Smoking is a problem that is still difficult to solve today, the various impacts and dangers of smoking have actually been published to the public. However, the smoking habit is still difficult to stop. This activity aims to increase students' awareness of the bad effects of smoking on health. The population and sample for this service amounted to 20 people. During the activity, all participants were very enthusiastic in listening while giving good responses, then the questions given by the participants were answered well by the resource person. It is hoped that with this activity, students at SMP Negeri 1 South Angkola will be wiser so that they will stop smoking, and that the school will be smoke-free, and passive smokers will be protected from the dangers of cigarette smoke. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in driving local economic growth, particularly in rural areas. One MSME with significant development potential is “Keripik Si Umi,” located in Sukakarya Village, Bogor Regency. However, this MSME still faces challenges in packaging, labeling, and marketing, which limits its competitiveness in the market. This community service program aimed to provide assistance in improving product packaging, labeling, and online marketing. The implementation methods included an initial observation to identify problems, technical training on packaging and labeling, and direct mentoring in applying digital marketing strategies. The results indicated a significant improvement in packaging quality, shifting from simple LDPE plastic to standing pouch packaging made of polypropylene, which is more appealing and durable. In terms of labeling, the product now meets the standard consumer information requirements. Furthermore, product marketing has successfully expanded through online platforms, increasing market reach. This program concludes that the intervention enhanced the competitiveness of Keripik Si Umi by improving product quality and optimizing marketing, which is expected to contribute to increased sales revenue and sustainable business growth in the long term.

Abstract

Desa Bandungrejo sebagai sentra daerah penghasil pisang dan memiliki potensi nilai ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Disetiap pekarangan rumah milik warga memiliki tanaman pohon pisang,namun komoditi pisang disini kurang mendapat perhatian sehingga komoditi pisang bukan menjadi sumber penghasilan utama bagi setiap keluarga karena harga jual yang masih rendah. Sehingga perlakuan untuk buah pisang hanya sebatas dikonsumsi untuk keluarga seperti di goreng dan dikukus. Belum ada yang mengambil kesempatan untuk berinovasi mengolah  buah pisang menjadi nilai jual. Dalam upaya untuk menumbuhkan motivasi dan kemampuan para ibu rumah tangga itu, diperlukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang dapat menggerakkan para ibu untuk menemukan, mengembangkan dan meningkatkan potensi dirinya. Dengan adanya kesadaran dan motivasi tersebut, diharapkan para ibu dapat bertindak lebih jauh dan turut andil dalam menyelesaikan persoalan perekonomian keluarga. Dalam hal ini, potensi diri memiliki pengertian yang umumnya relatif dapat dipahami dengan mudah.
